I command myself not to get pregnant.
I know this is utterly silly, but looking at the blue and red coats that S & B donned in the final scene made me think of the whole Jesus/Mary Magdalene wearing blue and red thing. Not that I think either of these characters are Biblical, it just popped into my mind!
Oh, please, let B get her sweet, sweet revenge. Pllllllease.

I'm 37 and Blair's story made me cry. Here's hoping she takes down everyone... starting with Jenny.
And I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't decide between Blair/Chuck and Blair/Nate. Best love triangle ever!

Wow. I was really kind of hoping that Chuck would be awesome and be the one person Blair could count on at the end (aside from Serena), but then I thought "Wait. He's the one who screwed her over in the first place." It was clear, at least to me, that he was saying that cruel stuff to her out of hurt about Nate and disappointment and anger at Blair. Still, I felt so bad for my girl when she had to hear him say those things. It seemed as if she was more hurt about Chuck than Nate, I think because Chuck seemed to like her flirty, devious side and now decided to berate her for it. At any rate, Chuck has some forgiveness to ask for/buy off, Blair should NOT forgive him for this easily. And I know she won't, and that makes me happy.
Nate (Douchey McDouche) is a hypocritical ass and I really wish he would stop flipping around about his feelings. I hate him, he thinks that Blair is worse than him because she lied? When he cheated ON her with her best friend? Christ, someone give him a CLUE.
Also on my hate list? Jenny. I can't wait to see Blair take her ass DOWN. It'll be so sweet.
Rufus was working thirteen outfits of fug this week, and bored me to tears to boot. He is so dull. Also, at one point he looked like Mr. Rogers in that fugly sweater. Enough with the parents already til they have a certified storyline.
I love Serena being there for Blair at the end. They are the true meaning of BFF. Someone that you can be so very pissed at but still love with a whole heart, no matter how bitchy they can each be.

This was seriously hilarious.
Now Jenny? I want to like her, I really do, but the fact that she implied to Nate that Blair slept with Chuck? I just couldn't believe it. She needs to get out of grown folk business. LOL.

Yes, its totally "House of Mirth"!!!
I love Blair. I got verrry near tears after Chuck's utter nastiness. It was just jaw-droppingly mean. And when Blair put her head on her mother's lap. Too much!
I'm really glad the episode ended with Blair and Serena. Boys may come and go, but in the end its all them.

'People who live in glass houses...'
That's what I kept thinking about during this episode.
On one hand, I felt sorry for Blair because it sucks to have your life fall apart like that. But OTOH I think about how she's treated people and I can't help but think about karma. You can't use, discard, disrespect, humiliate, etc people the way Blair has done and be shocked when the tables are turned and it happens to you. I just don't like how Blair failed to see her part in this mess. It was everybody else's fault but her own. I cheered when Katie, Isobel, and the other girls called Blair out. Harsh yes, but Blair reminds me so much of some of the people I went to school with and how they paraded around like they were God's gift. Passing judgment and making other people's lives miserable. It's nice to see her taken down a peg or two. However, that being said, Blair's revenge should be AWESOME. Bring on Blair vs. Jenny!
Chuck is an ass! But I can't hate him.
The best thing about this episode: Blair/Serena.

"Thank god because I have no idea what to wear to a paternity hearing"
HEE! LOVE her
I was really excited for No Vanessa but then when Jenny told Nate about Blair/Chuck I realized that she's just like Vanessa: putting her nose where it doesn't belong. Hate.
The Rufus storyline was sooo boring. I don't even remember those two chicks names because I wasn't paying attention.

Oh, Gossip Girl, you know I love you. What an awesome mini-finale.
I am kinda bummed that almost all of the "Jenny seduced by upper society" subplot took place off-screen. If we had seen more of the "training" Blair was putting her through, if we had seen more of how she ingraciated herself with the other girls, if we had seen more of Brunette Wanna-B and Blonde Wanna-B undermining Blair along the way, I think it really would have made Blair's dethroning even that more dramatic.
This episode also was missing a confrontation between Dan/Jenny or Serena/Jenny about what she did because she very well could have torpedeoed their relationship if Serena didn't believe him about keeping N/C a secret. My prediction for when the show comes back is that B goes after Lil' J with a vengence, which will cause big problems for S and D. They were really great tonight otherwise. I loved how Dan didn't freak for a minute about Serena and the pregnancy test (and what a way to find out!); he was just thinking about how to be there for her and how she must be feeling. And I loved how he acknowledged that it's amazing how Serena can balance a guy like him and a best friend like Blair.

I totally get why Nate was upset. I mean, imagine how you'd feel if your best friend and the person you love slept together? How could he not feel completely betra....oh. Wait.
Seriously, how did no one call him on that shit? And when will this character go away? He's mayo on wonderbread. I know in the books he's the it guy, but whether its the way the character is written or the way he's performed, that sooooo doesn't translate.
Poor B. I can't wait for her to get her revenge. Isn't it almost time for Jennie to go off to boarding school?

I do wish that Eleanor had pried more. What I did love was her calling Blair out re: her eating disorder. I'm glad the writers didn't forget to throw that in. It makes totally sense to me that, with a potential pregnancy weighing on her mind, Blair would have a relapse. On a side note, that scene also made me momentarily think, "Huh, maybe she is pregnant and she's got the morning sickness."
I might be shot for this, but I kinda liked Bex. Her "dating 101" speech at the end was pretty humorous. She seems like a tough chick who won't let Rufus get away with any crap.

When I grow up, I want to be Serena van der Woodsen. Even though I've already got a few years on her, I don't care. Why does Jenny look up to Blair? I understand that B is pretty fierce and all, but she's also a straight up bitch and treats people like crap. If I were Little J, Serena's the one I'd be trying to emulate. She is all kinds of awesome. And I heart Dan. I know he's not always a favorite on these boards, but I think he's totally dreamy.
I loved Blair getting her big fat reality check. She needed to be knocked back down a few pegs. But mostly, I cannot wait to see Blair come back with a vengeance and take those bitches down! Can this strike end like now? I need my GG fix.

Blair's mom probably is worried to death about her health (finally) and just wanted to do what it would take to make her happy - and figured that Blair would be happier with her dad, anyway. Plus, Blair's mom goes to Paris all the time (including during debutante balls, ugh) anyway, so she would be able to check on her there.
I was hoping Serena wouldn't believe Dan, at least not for an episode, and would then misconstrue his "I love you" as an attempt to distract her from realizing that he had spilled the beans, rather than as genuine.
Surprised Blair wouldn't think that perhaps Chuck or Vanessa's tape/mouth had alerted Gossip Girl.
It will do Blair good to be knocked down a peg or two, but I have no doubt she'll return stronger and bitchier than ever. Wonder what this will do to Chuck and Nate, though. I guess Nate has all those other friends in his cell phone book (Charles, etc.), but he's also dealing with his dad and all that. Maybe Chuck will turn to wreaking some havoc with Carter the Hobbit.

I honestly didn't blame Chuck for anything he did or said. From his point of view he got dumped and screwed over badly. The thing is he was Blair's friend before they slept together and he liked the real Blair. Not the fake perfect Blair that Nate saw.

I don't blame Jenny for what she did either. Blair was awful to her and what real teenager could sit on that kind of amazing gossip?

I have to agree with just about everything you said, MarigoldSkye. Someone mentioned in the Canadian thread that they had a strong desire to beat up everyone that hurt Blair, and I have to agree with that as well. And every damn time Leighton cries, I cry. I've fallen hard for Blair Waldorf.

Poor Blair. I teared up when she was crying in her mom's lap, and again at the end with her and Serena. Seriously, that's what being a best friend is all about. And Chuck said some seriously hurtful words - again, I really wish that the strike was over, because I really want to see what happens next.

The Blair/Chuck scene near the end broke my heart. I wasn't expecting him to be quite so cruel... and yeah, Blair had karma coming her way, but that was just plain painful. Jenny and Chuck deserve each other.
Rufus, I don't care about your love life. I don't care about your job. I don't care about you, in general. Please quit wasting valuable episode time.
Loved Blair's mom bringing up the eating disorder, too; I thought that was handled especially well by both actresses, and it seemed appropriate that her mom might think that was what was going on. I like Blair's mom so much better on the show than I do in the books. But if I suspected my daughter of having an ED relapse, and then she suddenly wanted to leave the country for an extended amount of time, I think I'd panic quite a bit. I was surprised that her mom didn't question her further or, at the least, call her dad to make sure Blair was going to get help once she was there.

I agree. I was so torn between feeling sympathy for Blair (my nice side) and feeling oddly satisfied at seeing someone who's been so manipulative and cruel get a taste of what it's like to be treated that way (my, er, 'eye for an eye' side).
Man, I loved the cruelty in this episode. It really brought shades of Veronica Mars in it...
I've only caught two episodes of the show so far, and both have reminded me of VM in certain ways: awesomely snappy and snarky dialogue; compelling, morally grey characters; and a knack for vividly depicting just how hellish adolescence can be!
S is awesome. That is all.
Again, this was just my second episode (though I'm already desperate to catch up on all the ones I missed!) but I'm still very meh on Serena. Hopefully I'll start to warm up to her more, but so far she's just kind of generic attractive teenage girl' to me, which we get on so many other shows. Chuck and Blair, meanwhile, stand out to me as awesomely well-defined, unqiue and insanely entertaining!
I really do hope that I'll grow to feel invested in Serena, but at the moment the best I can say is that she's better than the other 'girl-who-seems-to-have-everything-but-doesn't' character created by Josh Schwartz, the IMO loathsome Marissa Cooper!

Loved
- Blair/Leighton. I don't know if I could've loved or even felt sorry for Blair if someone else was playing her. However Leighton is is such an increible actress, that I do, and I am not ashamed to admit it. I loved Blair in all forms to night. Bitch, vulnerable, desperate, hurt, all of it. She rocked it hardcore, and I teared up at her scenes. I want her to come back and destroy every single person that abandoned her. Blair can cut a bitch.
- Blair/Elanor - I don't know how to feel about her mom right now. The Thanksgiving episode, and episodes prior to that I thought she was a bitch. Now I kinda am liking her, and that last scene with Blair was so freaking good IMHO. She may not be the best mother ever, but I think she is trying now.
- Blair/Serena - Blair was bitchy at times, and I felt badly for Serena, but I could also understand what Blair was saying in that last fight. Basically. "Everyone knows who you are, and that's fine. You're expected to screw up. You'll still be popular. It doesn't matter. I am held to a higher standard. People expect me to be perfect, and higher up, because I'm a Waldorf. I can't afford this for my reputation. It'll destroy me." That's how I saw it at least, just portrayed harsher. I do love that Serena didn't really give up on her, even though she was tempted too, and I didn't blame her for being angry. No matter how much I love Blair. I loved that last scene, when Serena asked her to stay. I thought it was so well done, and I love their friendship.
- Dan/Serena - I don't care. I think they're cute and I loved him saying he loved her, and I loved her eventually saying it back.
- Serena - I love how loyal she was to Blair, and her questioning why Dan loved her... It just shows more layering to her character I think.
Hated
- Nate - He's a fucking hypocrite. I understand he was hurt by what Blair did, it is justified. However he needs to realize that Blair forgave him when he lied to her for 6 months and him and Serena, and then tried to kiss her again.. .Accidentally kissing Jenny. All of this while they were in a relationship. Yet he can't forgive Blair for sleeping with Chuck now when they broke up? Ugh. DIAF! I was liking him last week too.
- Chuck - I started off hating him. I then started to see some layering developing. I wanted to like him, even though it was hard, and I loved him and Blair... However after that line to Blair... I hate him again. It was so uncalled for.
- Jenny - I do think she'd be interesting as a bitch, but the thing is she is just copying off of Blair, and being a wannabe, it's annoying. I think she'd be a lot cooler if she wasn't following everyone around, and was her own person. That's my issue with her. Blair's a bitch, but she's a leader, and doesn't apologize for who she is. Also she was in Blair wardrobe at the end, with the curled hair and headband.
- Hazel - Who the hell is that bitch? Seriously. Another Blair wannabe, and her little follower friends.
The Amusing
- Chuck's wardrobe! OMFG! The pink, the newsboy hat! Wow... It was all very flashy.
- Chuck/Nate fight - That was one thin line. I could see the tension and sexual frustration.
Overall
I thought it was a good episode. Quite good, but Chuck and Nate need to be shapened up. As well as Jenny. I really can't wait for this damn strike to be over so Blair can come back and destroy everyone one at a time.

Definitely. That was just harsh. I can understand him being upset, but lets not forget he put himself in this situation. His relationship with Blair was acctually looking good until he pulled that stunt at the debutante ball. Poor boy doesn't know how to win a girl's affections, does he?

I thought they were implying that she still is bulimic. That's just me, though!

I agree that Chuck's words seemd to hurt her more then Nate's. I still believe that she needs to end up with Chuck in some way. I get that he was mad at her but he didn't need to basically call her whore. Still I feel as if some of what happened to her she had coming. She learned that it's just as easy for people to turn on her like they do everyone else. When the mighty fall they fall hard, and she should know that you need to be careful who you step on on the way up. She was so mean to Jenny so Jenny's form of payback was a long time coming. Blair needed to be taken down a peg, I still love her though so I know she's coming back strong. She is Queen B after all.
I agree that Chuck has a right to be upset but I think the Arabian comment was way over the line.
Very harsh. He knows that she has only slept with two guys but he was angry so I get it. I think he regretted it as soon as he said it.

I love Blair for calling out how much of a social climber Jenny is. What annoys me about her is that she gives no thought about how her actions affect other people. Okay, so she feels compelled to tell Nate about what happened, but she doesn't even think about how this could affect her individual relationships with Dan and Serena nor does she think about how it fight affect their relationship. I cannot wait to see how this all blows up in her face.
Now, as far as the Nate/Blair/Chuck drama - Now, Nate is being a total hypocrite since he cheated on Blair with Serena, but that in no way excuses Blair's behavior. And the same can be said for Chuck. However, I do think he was being totally ridiculous considering his various sexual activities, and I felt more sympathy for Nate than him.

Perhaps, but Blair is accustomed to him being over the line, and she goes past that line alot, too. I wish he'd have left that remark off, but I didn't find it any more over the line than the things Blair has said to Serena and Jenny and even Chuck himself.
Am I the only one that thought that Chuck hanging his head once he saw Blair was gone was a sign that maybe he was saying that on purpose to push her away, but didn't mean any of it? He wouldn't go from following her and trying to touch her to immediately saying "I don't want you anymore". It was obviously totally untrue, at least to me. But maybe I'm alone.
Oh, I just remembered something Chuck said that I loved. "Yes, I took what she kept trying to give you and you kept refusing" -- to Nate. I loved that. Nate deserves to be reminded that he was a horrible boyfriend and has nobody to blame but himself that Blair turned to Chuck.

First two minutes had me in stitches.
I completely forgot Blaire slept with Nate. Did they show any part of that or is my memory just shady? It would have been better for Chuck to fret over whether or not Blaire was carrying his spawn.
It was hilarious when Serena was using all of those allusions to birth control in front of the maid.
“I command myself not to be pregnant.” Really? Whatever!
Leaving school in a limo? How pretentious can you get.
As far as the “I love you” thing, I wouldn’t say that to someone for the first time and automatically expect them to say it right back. That’s fairly close to emotional blackmail.
When Chuck was talking to Blaire towards the end, I almost felt sorry for her. Then I remembered she brought it on herself. Her sense of superiority, egging Chuck on, treating so many people like shit. Sympathy=0. She indeed fell off of her high horse…AND HARD!!!

While Blair is my girl, I totally agree. She was petty, vindictive and cruel this ep and I think we are to understand that this is obviously a pattern. She ruled out of fear, not love, so once there was a chink in her armor, her put upon minions were only too happy to overthrow her. It's so interesting how she can be so sweet to Serena, but to the other girls she's just plain nasty. I don't think the scandal wouldn't have been such a huge deal if Blair hadn't built put herself on such a pedestal. She's created this perfect image of herself and there's no way to be perfect all the time. Her downfall was probably a long time in coming.
That said, hopefully the writers have a plan to inject some self awareness in Blair. I don't want her to be puppies and rainbows, but she needs to learn a lesson here and hopefully grow as a person. I want her to regain her throne and take Little J down
hard but I also want her to realize that it's ok to be herself, not some self created image.
I liked that they mentioned B's bulimia. It's a disease that does not come and go in One Very Special Episode like most tv shows.
Nate is a fucking hypocrite and he doesn't even realize it. I really couldn't care less about how hurt or betrayed he feels. I just feel nothing for the character, which I think is part writing but mostly Chace Crawford's shitty acting. He's not trying to play an emotionally numb stoner. I think he just sucks.
Oh my poor heartbroken Chuck. I ain't going to lie. What he laid on Blair was harsh and mean and about as low as one can go. That said, I think Chuck was just so totally hurt about Nate, about Blair, about the whole fucked up situation. And I think he wanted to make Blair as miserable as he was feeling (and he knew exactly what buttons to push-they are so much alike). But, he took no amusement in insulting her. He just looked sad, lonely and miserable. I still think Blair/Chuck will happen. But C better get some kneepads for all the groveling he's going to be doing.

I was thinking the same thing. If my daughter came to me distraught and begging to leave the country asap I'd ask all kinds of questions.
My opinion - which may be considered a fanwank - is that Mrs. Waldorf understands that something huge and upsetting has happened to her daughter, and that it's highly unlikely that she would share with her what is going on, so sending her abroad no-questions-asked is her own quiet way of standing behind Blair.
I the only one that thought that Chuck hanging his head once he saw Blair was gone was a sign that maybe he was saying that on purpose to push her away
Oh, I thought it was very clear that he was only being cruel for the sake of his "manhood" and his relationship with Nate and not saying anything he actually believed.

I think that's because Chuck basically called her an undesirable whore before telling her to fuck off, whereas Nate was obviously pissed but not low-blowing her to that extent. But whatever, Chuck is a slutty, fugly little troll so Blair should just let that shit roll off her back.

Again, this was only my second episode, but I'm wondering if Nate seems so bland because many of his scenes are with Chuck or Blair, both of whom are such vivid, exciting characters? Or maybe I'm just in denial that the writing for some characters could be so strong while the writing for other characters could be so bland.
Hey! I liked Marissa.
I wonder if my strong dislike for Marissa is part of why I can't muster up much of anything for Serena so far? As I said, I *do* find Serena considerably less annoying than Marissa so far, and feel she's played by a far better actress. But maybe I'm just destined to dislike all of Josh Schwartz's 'pretty, popular girls who *seem* to have everything but (gasp) actually don't!'

My heart aches for Blair! God, her revenge is gonnabe so freaking sweet. Of all misfortunates she's had to face, I think the one thing that hit her real hard was Chuck's you're-like-one-of-those-Arabians-my-Father-used-to-own speech. I didn't see Chuck feeling all glorious when saying that. There were heartbreak and disappointment in his part. I don't think he truly meant it.

When Chuck was talking to Blaire towards the end, I almost felt sorry for her. Then I remembered she brought it on herself. Her sense of superiority, egging Chuck on, treating so many people like shit. Sympathy=0. She indeed fell off of her high horse…AND HARD!!!
She had a little bit of sympathy from me only because people who were supposed to be her friends (i.e her MET steps crew) turned on her so quickly. Then I remembered she might have had a friend in J if she hadn't been so mean.

I got that feeling too. Her sleeping with Nate was pretty much a blow to the gut she gave him after earlier making out with him. So he was basically returning the favor.

That very one (by the way, thanks for making me relive the horror of his pink sweater. I think he was an easter egg in a past life). I figure he is pushing her away as hard as he can because he wants his boyfriend/best friend back. That will never happen if he keeps going after Blair.

I really loved this episode. The only thing I didn't think was awesome was the Rufus subplot. I honestly have no idea what was going on there because Rufus and random people bore me.
Blair (and Leighton) were amazing tonight. She just played everything so well and I was tearing up at a couple spots just because she was so emotional. Fabulous.
Usually I'm pretty indifferent to Serena--I don't dislike her, but she doesn't come close to my love for Blair. As of tonight, I love her too. Yes, she was hurt by what Blair said, but she was there when her friend needed her and really put herself out there to do what was best for Blair. Those two are great together. I hope that now that Blair's kind of the lone ranger that they'll have more scenes together.
I also have great love for Eric. I like him more every time I see him. He never fails to entertain me. Blair would be lucky just to hang out with Serena and Eric all the time. Yes, the van der Woodsens will be her new group. My mind just went to a bad place where Blair is this new queen ruling over Serena, Eric, Dan, and Vanessa, but...no. Just no. I was glad that V didn't show up though. She had no place in the awesomeness.
I could not agree more. I don't think Chuck ever thought Nate would find out, even when he sent that text to GG. As far as he knew, only Blair and Serena knew and neither of them were going to tell him. He lost his best friend and it sucked.
I really didn't like Nate, but I thought Crawford played him well. It was nice to see him getting in to the character and not just standing there looking pretty.
As for Jenny...It's interesting to see her be the "it girl" and get back at Blair, though I still hope B takes her down hard. She doesn't seem to be totally transformed into the mean girl with how she was hesitant to treat the new girl (Elyse?) badly at first, but she did give in. I can't wait to see where that goes.
Strike, please be over soon. Please?

Ed rocked that scene. Even if Chuck is an asshole, I want Blair paired up with the one boy on this show who can act!
I don't think Chuck really thinks Blair is a whore. Nor do I think his infatuation was based on her innocence or purity. She was never pure and sweet with him anyway (she saved that side of herself for Nate). But he knew what buttons to push to bring Blair low, which actually parallels B's war with Serena in the beginning of the season. Just like Blair fought like a tiger when hurt, Chuck is doing the same thing. But no, I don't think he meant any of that.

I loved this episode besides the Rufus and whoever the hell that woman was he wanted to go on a date with. I adore Blair, but she did deserve the backlash from others because they way she treats them .
I don't really blame little Jenny for not having Blair back, what she should not have done was listen other people conversation.
Nate I cant help but like him, but hes such a little hyprocrite. Hopeful when the show comes back and realize what a butthole and that he did the same thing that she did. Hell at least they were broken up at the time.
I have to say unpopular opinion in that I don't want Blair to hook up with either Chuck or Nate. Both boys have some growing up to do before either one should be with Blair.
I'm I the only one that does not feel bad for Chuck. Dude pretty much hung his on self. Now I'm suppose to feel bad whatever. I feel like what he said to Blair was way freaking worse then what Nate said. That was just way too cruel.

Agreed. I loved the Serena/Eric moments and I think they have a great relationship.

I love Blair. I totally understand her wanting to disapear to France. Serena is such a good friend for convincing her to stay. Jenny is so going down. I still hate Chuck. I honestly felt sick after what he said to Blair. I dont care if he said it because he still likes her or not, he isnt 6 thats not an excuse. But I've never really got the whole loving the asshole thing on tv shows, like Logan from VM and Spike from Buffy. I cant wait to see what Blair does and if Serena will be angry with Jenny. I doubt it because of Dan but I can hope. This show is way too addictive. When is the next new episode?

Blair/Serena are this show for me, all the characters and all their relationships don't come close to being as awesome as these two and their friendship. They can fight, and hate and still love eachother at the end of the day and be there for eachother.
Blair really broke my heart tonight. I felt horrible for her. She and Nate were quite cute in the quad being all cuddly with eachother. It was sweet. As much as I adore her, and I really adore this character, I do think she was overly harsh to Jenny on the steps. I love my Blair bitchy but there was no reason to make Jenny move down a few steps and obviously that action only hurt Blair in the long run. She, like Chuck, has a tendency of bringing things on herself. Her own bitchy, nasty attitude, much as I love it, was her downfall.
Serena was really on fire tonight for me. This episode really highlighted something for me about Serena and Blake Lively. Serena the character may want to be this goody girl but it doesn't do her justice. When you see the snarky, UES Serena pop up, she really shines and I go from liking her just fine to loving her. Last time we really saw that Serena was the first few episodes when she was still at odds with Blair. She wasn't as strong tonight as she was in those episode, but she was there while still being an amazing BFF. Blake, while she often turns in a good performance(despite sometimes delivering her lines in a mumbly, lockjaw way), also shines when she gets to let UES Serena out. You see the girl who knows how to play the game, she might not like it or want to play, but she can and do it well. I really hope we see more of that Serena again, especially to get back at the people who hurt her BFF.
You know I get the Blair/Serena friendship, what drives it and keeps it alive. But Chuck/Nate is a different story. I love their interactions, but I don't get their friendship and sometimes even see it as being a bit onesided. Nate goes to Chuck for advice, a couch to crash on, Chuck helps him out alot and has even gone as far to say Nate is one of the most important things to him. I haven't seen that level of friendship from Nate in regards to Chuck. Sure he'll go away on romantic getaways with him, and would've gone to Victrola despite what had just happened with his Dad but I think they really need to explore that friendship more. Why is Nate so important to Chuck? Other than obviously being the only person that can stand him. What has Nate really done for Chuck?
Chuck looked so broken after their fight. But Chuck really brought it on himself, he avoided typing who Blair slept with but he was stupid to think it would never get out it was him. As for his scene with Blair, yeah that was a horrible thing to say but you could tell he didn't necessarily mean it but he was angry and bitter and just broken up with his boyfriend. Blair shows up and basically says, 'well I don't have anyone else so you'll have to do.' He wanted to hurt her and knew just how to do it, and I partially suspect he might have been pushing Blair away in hopes of repairing his friendship with Nate.
Oh Nate. I guess, in a weird way, I can't completely hate him for his reaction. I want to and do to an extent, but I do take in the fact, despite him being a hypocritical asshat, he's still a teenage boy who found out his girlfriend and best friend slept together and she chose to not tell him, broken up though they were at the time. Teenagers, especially ones as fickle as Nate, are irrational like that. His reaction does irk me though and I hate he gets to be self righteous about something he did to Blair while they were dating. I hope he gets chewed out for that at some point.
Honestly, I kinda loved seeing bitchy Jenny step up to the plate tonight. Dan sorta pissed me off with his reaction to Serena's reaction to his 'I Love You.' They've been dating since what? Novemeberish and its probably mid-Janurary at best, what did he expect? I know in Dan Humphrey's world she'd probably jumped into his arms and also declare her everlasting love but it didn't go that way and he gets assy about it. But, I do like Serena/Dan, they are a nice change from all the angsty couples of TV. I don't care what people say, a happy couple isn't always a boring couple. So long for now Gossip Girl, hope to see you again soon.
