Thread Purpose:
There are separate threads for show-related websites and stuff, but this thread's purpose is to combine all the official off-show media like the comics, the Chloe/Vengeance Chronicles, the text messaging, the games, and the character blogs that comprise the larger Smallville world. The show sometimes draws on these for references in episodes, using them as backstory and such.

Please note!
This is not a thread for debating whether these things are "canon" or not, or whether this is a good/bad method of storytelling on the show's part. As I understand it, there has been much discussion on this subject in the past and I don't expect people to come to a consenus (nor do they have to). I think the show considers these tie-ins to be canon, but whether you do or not isn't the subject of discussion here. The subject is all the media stuff that may tie into the show, how they're used, how they fit in, etc.

Oh and please share links to any of these things that are on the net, or post your descriptions of what you've seen, to help people who haven't seen the tie-ins/campaigns. Just be sure to read the FAQ entry about linking to video and articles first. Thanks.

atem....good stuff. Should keep me busy over the long Gemini to Persona break! Reading thru the Oliver Queen Chronicals, I think I need to rewatch all this to pick up clues and find out who is writing these --- could be a clue as to what might be in future episodes (I'm thinking Veritas and Traveler more than Siren).

Does anyone have anything more on the Supergirl on Krypton Sprint comic series?

Raise your hand if you think it's building up backstory that couldn't get shown on screen for SFx $$$ limitations. I'm hoping they at least show essential bits in the commercials like the Yaris stuff from last year.

While I know many don't like this stuff, I eat it up with a spoon.

I just hope that they put the Supergirl stuff on the DVD's or online or somewhere the non-Sprint customers can see them.

Is Lois' death being foreshadowed in Part 5 of the Justice & Doom clip (around the 1:14 mark)? It looks a lot like the comic panels from Action.
