She's still my fave. She's recently been called bitchy but that all started with Hillary (The Crazy One) and Jade (Another Bitch), so I don't give it much credence. I think she calls 'em like she sees 'em, hold the drama. (Well, get back to me on that one after the Limo Ride of Wailing Guitars.)

I love DeAnna. I think she is sexy and I hope he picks her- he will end up with Jenny, though. Too bad...Deanna rocks!

I don't know if it's because she has a deep voice, but Deanna comes across a bit mannish. Brad seems to be the gentle type, so, he should probably go with someone a little - softer. Perhaps, Sheena or Bettina. Sheena seems nice and I am sure Bettina could be persuaded to take her meds.

I said this before -- I think DeAnna is a better fit as a Manager for one of Brad's bars. She'd be great in that capacity or maybe a take-no-prisoners bouncer.

I think DeAnna is awesome. Plus, I called a DeAnna-Jenny final 2 on the first night, and I have never successfully predicted the final 2, so out you go, Bettina!

Deanna used to bartend/serve at one of my favorite watering holes a few years ago. She was known as DeDe then.She's really pretty cool.

Deanna's actually from my hometown and the hometown paper (of course) loves her.

I have been told that Deanna's not as....rosy as people would love to believe. I have never met her but I hope seriously that she doesn't really see anything in Brad. Brad (based on my VERY limited viewing of the Bachelor) comes across as a Complete Douchebag.

Hey! She's the new bachelorette! It was announced on Ellen today. Does DeAnna have enough personality to pull off her own season?

I don't think so. I didn't like her on Brad's season, so I'm not really looking forward to watching her as the B'ette. Are people really that invested in her happiness just because she didn't get picked by Brad and then months later was still talking about taking him back (hello, he didn't want you then and still doesn't want you now)? I don't think she'll be any better than Jen Scheft, let's hope the men are at least as entertaining as Jen's season - maybe they could bring back the gay french guy for her.

She's very rehearsed and more than a bit cold, but I like DeAnna. I even felt sorry for her after Brad shot her down...even after her dozen talk show appearances and the three or four dozen times this was mentioned at the start of tonight's episode. She has the occasional flicker of personality (like when Paul stripped to his DeAnna underwear.

I think it was mostly a lower half thing, which was slightly masked by the full skirt.

On the plus side, the Bachelorette stylists seem to have moved her part to a more reasonable place on her head. On the minus side, they were unable to solve the weird blinking or the job interview style of dating.

She seems to have lost quite a bit of weight. I think she looked healthier on the Bachelor.

All I know is right now DeAnna is really getting on my nerves as the Bachelorette. I honestly don't know why she was chosen, because if you ask me she has NOT gotten over Brad. I don't know how many times he's been mentioned since the series has aired....but its been more than enough. I'm just not caring for her attitiude at all. Plus, you can pretty much tell who she likes more than others. Jeremy, and Graham seem to be two of her favorites, so if Graham continues to stay....it wouldn't surrpise me if these are the final 2.

I so agree. Of the little I saw of DeAnna as the bachelorette (sp?), she's just one annoying little prick. And the show as a whole is so hokey and unreal. Her fifteen minutes are dwindling fast.

To quote that kind of drunk girl from last season, if I were a dude, I wouldn't date her. Between the bossiness, the blinking, and the constant need to have conversations about the relationship, it seems like the only thing she has going for her is being attractive.

At least we finally have the answer on the weird blinking -- she does wear contacts, since she followed Trista's example and wore her smart girl glasses to make her pro/con list.

She apparently needs new contacts then. You really shouldn't feel them in, and if she's having to blink all the time, then her eyes are likely dry or they don't fit right. I mean, I'm not an eye doctor, but I've worn contacts for a few years. When I find myself blinking like that, I know it's time for a new pair.

I totally cosign that. I started the thread but can't seem to find any way to edit the title, which is back from the days where she did appear to be one of the most normal of the gaggle of women Brad had to choose from.

You know, I love Deanna. She is a knockout, with a gorgeous accent, and has that sparkle to her. I worship any woman who can say "ya'll" -- I could never pull it off. And I loved her chaste kissing on the show. There is nothing that puts me off sooner than seeing people mack on each other on TV. (Blob is forever burned into my brain.)

Totally worthy of her own TV show -- "The Bachelorette" that is. But, now that I think of it, I wouldn't mind at all seeing her guest host "The View" sometime. I'd *gasp* like to hear her political opinions.
