Pre-dislike, just because I usually don't like teams with a gimmick. Poseurs in Pink (or "Pynk", if you prefer).

"Kynt" makes me think of those two gay villians from "Diamonds are Forever". And "Vyxsin" - the name alone tries too hard.

Well, they are...colorful. And bright. I fear for my retinas. Yet for some reason, I am intrigued...as to how Phil is going to pronounce these two names.

And I'm looking forward to Phil interviewing them at some pitstop. The eyebrows will really be popping. Not to mention the reaction of the native greeter!

If they do make it through for a while, I must wonder how well they'll keep up the makeup jobs. It could be interesting to see them with relatively natural faces.

I just wanna know what their real names are. These surely can't be their real names can they?

Kynt is a dead ringer for Alexis Arquette with black hair.

Wow. I actually know these two. I've hung out with them at the many Sci-Fi conventions they go to.

They're actually really nice. I don't know that I would've classified them as "Goths," but whatever. They're some of the few people still up in the wee hours having fun.

I'm very interested to see how this team does working the airport and talking to locals, just because of how they look. Perhaps other countries might be more accepting, or else they'll have a ton of trouble and get weird looks. Could be a fun little social experiment to watch.

Honestly it could be a hook or they may identify themselves as Goth. I've met and hung out with them a few times, but I definitely wouldn't say I know them intimately. It'll be interesting seeing them at the next Con though.

I guess Circe Nightshade and Azrael Abyss couldn't get time off from Cinnabons to do this?

I totally thought they were girl-girl too, and was very surprised that they would cast two lesbian couples. Here's hoping these two are the first to go!

I giggled endlessly when I read that Kynt works at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Do they make cowboy hats and chaps in pink leopard print?

I did, too - and I sent the link to my DH at work. We eat at the Texas Roadhouse all the time, and the only people that work at ours are college kids. LOL

I suspect they are going to be the B.J. and Tyler of this incarnation of the Race. . .never letting us forget for one moment how different and wacky and god-dammit unique they are.

I'm curious to see how they'll handle sleeping on the ground and not wearing make-up. Kynt's hair looks like it took hours to get that Final Fantasy cartoon anime look. They totally make me think of Team Rocket from Pokemon! Not just the hair, but their posture does as well.

Oh man, that's all I can think of now. To me, they'll be forever known as Team Rocket. (Or at least, until the show starts.)

Count me as someone who thought they were both women, at first. And after being told that one is a guy, I was actually shocked for a few seconds.

Maybe they'll prove me wrong, but the pink is already a major turnoff.
