Weren't they holding auditions for cycle 10 in July?

Yeah, they held some in August at a community college here. A girl in a class that I taught had a friend who went so it seems incredibly unlikely that the all-stars thing could be true.

I can't tell if that would be the best or worst idea ever. "Hey guys, remember all those contestants who were too old, fat, and ugly to be models the first time around? Well, they're back! Now even fatter, uglier, older, and with more illegitimate children!"

An all star season would be so stupid. I mean, why would a reject come back just to be eliminated again?

Yeah, it's different on other reality shows that are more game show driven...play the game differently with different people and you could win a LOT of money.

But something like this, even though (conceivably) you could be better looking than the other rejects and win, you're still not as good as those that won previously. I would think, why would they offer contracts and such to people they've rejected, but then I think the following:
- Jaslene
- They may be willing to admit to mistakes about Elyse, Ann, Nicole (C3), etc and concede that others may now have what it takes.....yeah that'll happen!

But, like Kapsberger said, they're all older now and have even less of a chance to make it (if they haven't already).

The problem is the good contestants like Elyses and Mollie Sues and Annes and even your Kims and Eugenas are all working models. You'd be stuck with your Saras, your Sarahs, and your plussies for an All "Star" cycle.

Not at all, since the only remotely interesting first girls off were Anna and Kathy. Well, and Kathleen for the stupid.

If the All Stars involved only the winners of ANTM and other versions of it from around the world (ie., Australia's Next Top Model, Germany, Britain, etc.) that might be interesting, similar to what they did with American Idol. Although, why would a successful model bother to do a reality show again?

Season where people come back? That already happened! Remember that man who came back a second time and one in cycle 8? Poor Natasha got robbed by... what was his name? Manlene?

By definition, an All-Star ANTM would be full of non-stars because the assorted hamsters with potential are working and not likely to interrupt that to be back in Tyra's play world.


A world-wide Top Model is something I would be all over like white on rice. Especially if Tyra were not involved.

I know this would never, ever happen, but my fantasy has always been that somehow, the CW has 1 million dollars to give away, and they decide to do an All-Star ANTM, offering the winner not only a modeling contract and campaign, but also a cash prize. I think this would make the girls want to come back, and not only fight, but fight a lot harder. I know, the show would never have that kind of money and Tyra wouldn't agree to it, because it would make the show acknowledge the fact that it's just for entertaining tv and not finding a top model, but I think it would be awesome. They could even have only the more successful girls come back, and show what they've learned since having had time in the field.

I would also love to see a World's Next Top Model. It would probably be English-only, and clearly, Steph H or Jordan or one of the Aussie girls would totally take it.

Or even better, only the bitches from around the world! Imagine Stephanie (BNTM), Paloma and Bianca living in a house together...

Well, Jaslene was a reject and she came back but instead of being booted, she won. Which is kinda weird. Hmmm....

How bout all the runner-ups from past cycles? I think it'll make great TV... :p

Some of the non-English NTM girls can speak English (some of the girls on GNTM did a good job). But even if they weren't great at it, it wouldn't matter since half of our girls can't speak the language perfectly either (does Jade ring a bell?).

Probably the same reason 30 year olds still come out for the Real World/Road Rules Gauntlet shows... they have nothing better to do.

And enjoy the camera whoring of course.

It would seem a little silly to have people that didn't win come back because it would basically be like "Well, we thought you were crap the first time, but now that you're surrounded by all of these other rejects you look much better to us!"

Oh could they bring back Jade? People may not like Jade but she's tv gold.

If there is a Sara/h in cycles 10-14, I think Tyra should sign the show for one final season, rename it America's Next Top Model Named Sara/h (ANTMNS) and have the 12 Sara/hs come back as contestants to duke it out for the old time's sake.

With Jade's post-show career going so well, I doubt even she's be THAT stupid to rejoin the show. Oh and if Lisa is under the illusion that her 'rap career' will blow up then she wouldn't bother joining. So basically we'd have a load of Sarahs and Wendy's moping about, asking 'where's the milk Sarah #3?'. Of course if Brandy came back I WOULD SO WATCH IT!

An All-Star cycle would be great, but what I'd REALLY like to see is an All-Bitch cycle. Imagine the possibilties: Robin, Camille, Yaya, Keenya, Jayla, Jade, Monique, Melrose, Renee and Bianca all under one roof! The drama would be delicious and the photos probably wouldn't be half bad.

See, I would love an ANTM Challenge kind of show. I think that would have more of a chance.

I still want ANTM meets Survivor.

My fantasy would be Eva beating Ann in the Gauntlet. See, if they are going to do an All-Star edition, make it fun and not model-y.

I'd love if C9 Brittany, Jayla, Joanie, Nik, April, and a few others had a second chance. I bet that would be a great competition.

My All-Star Cycle would be Melrose and Jenah. And that's it.

I think the most likely girl to return (barring the fact that they've aged) are:

C1: Shannon
C2: April, Shandi
C3: Yaya
C4: Brittany
C5: Nik
C6: Joanie, Jade
C7: Melrose
C8: Brittany, Natasha
C9: Jenah, Chantal

Shandi's said some pretty snarky things about Tyra and she's not modeling anymore, so I definitely don't think she'd come back. Melrose has a real career and no way in hell girlfriend would give up her Storm contract to come on the show. Yaya is a successful actress and occasional model. C8 Brittany and Jade are pretty successful, Natasha's career hasn't taken off but she does seem to be working and is signed, and it's a matter of days before Jenah is signed with a reputable agency, I'm sure. April and Shannon are/were mildly successful. C4 Brittany put on quite a bit of weight since her cycle ended.

Nik, however, did seem really desperate and totally upset about losing during the C5 reunion. I sincerely hope she doesn't feel that way anymore. I'm not sure if Chantal is stupid enough to come back - she might be.

Eh, I'm glad this all-star thing will probably never happen.

After how she was treated and broken down on the show, I think it'll be a cold day in hell before Jenah signed herself up for ANOTHER season of ANTM.

Considering the girls are older and the returns would probably be even less than before, the only ones I can see signing up for this are girls who were eliminated fairly early on. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

I'd love to see Jenah return. She was robbed in Cycle 9! ROBBED!!!

What about getting all the winners from each cycles and have them hash it out? Then when it reaches the final 3, America and not Tyrant gets to decide who they think the next top model truly is.

I don't see any girls coming back (winner or not) who has already established a modeling career for herself (none of them will ever be house hold names). The only ones you might get are the ones who nobody really remembers anyway. The ones who manage to eke out a living as models try to put as much distance between themselves and this show as possible.

There just is no point in an all-star version of this show as any of the ones who came back would be truly desperate and down on their luck.

I think that ANTM needs to take a page from Survivor and have S12 be 'Fans vs. Favorites'. I'd insist on having the rules changed to allow 35 year-old men to compete, just so I could aswirl with Jade. Awesome!

In reality, no, none of the girls would come back. But this is Fantasy ANTM, right??? Let's have all the winners come back to compete for the cover of Vogue and a $500,000 cash prize. We'd have:

Just putting the names up there, the list seems so weak compared to some of my actual favorites each season. But this is our lineup... right away I elimnate Saleisha (just cuz), Jas (too drag) and Naima (she wasn't the strongest to me that season, but she slipped under the radar long enough to peak at the right time). CariDee's out, cuz that girl's Crazy-Dee. I don't think I ever saw Cycle 1 so I have no clue about Adrianne. That leaves Eva, Nicole, Danielle. In that scenario, for me, Eva takes it. She's short, but she definitely had more life than Nicole. Love Danielle, but I think Eva (though I wasn't crazy for her at the time) has more life, more in-your-face spark, that commands attention. Out of that lineup, I think it's got to go to Eva.

Now that's just my pick only looking at the list... if they were to actually compete, anything's possible, but I think Eva might still pull it out.

All Runners-up would be the greatest cycle in ANTM history...a Yaya, Joanie, Melrose, and Nik final four would be so great, I wouldn't care how they ranked beyond that.

Yaya, Melrose, Nik I can see final four, not sure about Joanie. Though her pictures after she got her teeth fixed were gorgeous.

Except Yaya and Mel Rose are actually working. The only ones who MIGHT come back would be Nik and Joanie.
