Latin night!
mtlchickie
Why I love Latin night: awkwardness and B grade porn music to accompany awkwardness!

Marie: Any criticism I had for her I will let slide, because I would said "Oh crap" as well if I ended up on the floor after blacking out. (Now watch Entertainment Tonight milk it.)

Jane: I would like her body at 56. Actually I would like her body now at...29-30. The dance was nice, but a bit forgettable

Mark: When you're stuck with "I Dream of Jeannie", how can you NOT play it just a bit goofy?

Sabrina: I'm not seeing how she got a 10. I get the 9s, but she still seemed a bit aggressive at some points.

Helio: I have to agree, that was pretty stitled. And it seemed like it was a big step down from Julianne's last rumba.

Jennie: I think the stumbles had to do with (one again) the beat of the original and the beat at what the band performed it at. Because I didn't see any problems with it otherwise.

Mel B: Please sue the singers for me. I have no idea what they did to my favorite Spice Girls song, but you got hosed. I don't think she deserved the 29, but at least that kinds of makes up for last week's bottom 2. Plus I was robbed of Posh saying "major"!

Camyta: Other than waiting for the episode Edyta will just wear gauze...I can see why they were last. wow. Freakishly...hot.

I really don't know who's going home. I would say Mark, but I think the first shock comes now and Helio may go instead.
CloudyGumdrops
Ugh, Rumba & Samba are 2 of my least fave dances (I only dislike the Jive more). I wish Helio had gotten Samba. Julianne actually made me like the dance last season.

* Marie & Jonathan (Samba): She’s so charming. Jonathan just gets hotter and hotter with every show. Marie was really doing quite a bit in this dance. Good choreo and I think he taught her a lot. It was on the slow side though. Other than the speed, good dance. OMG! She collapsed!  Thankfully, she’s okay.  Could Samantha be any more of a twit?! Urgh! 7s seems about right.

* Tony & Jane (Rumba): Wow, they look hot! What a great dress. Excellent extension. Not the best dance they’ve done, but it was beautiful. I liked them as I always do. Over-scored; I would’ve given them 7s for lack of content.

* Mark & Kym (Samba): That worked, surprisingly. That could’ve been so hokey, but Kym totally made it work. He didn’t do much from what I saw. No ‘singers’ either! Best part! That jibe at the judges was completely unnecessary. 7s was too high imo. The routine was entertaining, but he barely moved.

* Mark & Sabrina (Rumba): Yet another unflattering costume. Why can’t they dress this girl right? She seriously needs to tone down that tanning. Wheee, Shirley!
I wasn’t impressed. That was just more of the same from them. I could see her trying, but it was still just too…harsh and sharp. She wasn’t fluid. For some reason, I always think the woman should possess a…liquid sensuality (if that makes sense)…in this dance. Is languid the word I’m looking for? Her arm movements look staccato or something. There could’ve been a lot more Latin movement too.

* Derek & Jennie (Samba): Jennie continues to look fabulous. The hair/wardrobe/makeup people must absolutely love her. Not as good as their last 2 dances but still good. I felt she was slightly stiff-ish in some places. She still really hasn’t learned to move those hips has she?

* Helio & Julianne (Rumba): They’re so cute in the rehearsal footage. lol Not the greatest dress she’s ever worn. Most Rumbaish Rumba we’ve seen tonight. I thought it was hott and sexy. Best dance they’ve done since week one. His posture looked much improved tonight and he pulled off the sensuality. At least we know Julianne is working on it. I obviously disagree with the judges. Haha, I saw plenty of damn chemistry and passion. Far more than I saw from their faves Sabrina & Mark!

* Maks & Mel B (Samba): Hey, she got a nice enough dress tonight. Wheee, a Spice Girls song! Maks still needs to work on her arms. That split toward the end lasted too damn long, but great dance. Loved them; good choreography from Maks for once. It was fast and spicy which is what a Samba is supposed to be right? I think 10s might’ve been a bit much though. Of course, IMO, no one should be getting 10s at this point. Mel was my fave of the women tonight.

* Cameron & Edyta (Rumba): I don’t really like Rumba, but I love watching Edyta dance it. She’s just so gorgeously slinky. It really is her dance. I love her dress too. Things that would look slutty on others look so hot on her. Cameron looks even more improved this week and that was a very good Rumba. I liked them. Best dance they’ve done.

The music improved from last week. But then, Paso Doble week is always the Ninth Circle of Hell for music, so it could’ve only improved from there.

I want Sabrina gone, like now. Looks like we’re probably stuck with her till finals, though so, ugh. I don’t hate her, I just can’t stand her dancing.

Samantha gets more horrid by the second. Fire that idiotic twit, like, yesterday! Grrrr
jipijapa
Um, I thought Marie falling to the floor was quite scary. I didn't know if she'd just passed out or had a heart attack or what. Can you imagine how horrible it would be if a contestant dropped dead on national television?
MarigoldSkye
Whoo, boy, where to start, where to start--perhaps at the beginning.

I am glad Marie is okay, that was one weird and awkward and scary moment of television. I felt really bad for her when she started to apologize, I mean it isn't as if she planned it. Their dance, however, was meh and I thought they were scored appropriately.

Jane and Tony's rumba was decent. I loved her legs, she really had good extension. However, they were really overscored. It didn't deserve more than 8s. At all.

Mark and Kym -- there is no justice if his bumbly self isn't off this show this week. I'm sorry, but I can't sit through another painful performance from him. It's not entertaining to me to watch him hobble around and not even do the steps correctly.

Sabrina and Mark -- what can I say. The judges have made her their favorite and barely criticize her. I got very annoyed with Len when he said 'your strength is that you have no weaknesses', because YES, Len, she does. Quite a few, actually, but as every week, they mostly glossed them over. Overscored, imo, they had no chemistry whatsoever.

Jennie and Derek - I love her dearly and will give my votes to her and Mel. She was very good, I thought, but as someone who has already fallen in competition, she has to stop being so scared to fall when she does her turns. Just go full out, Jen, what's the worst that could happen, besides falling again? If she ever lets completely loose, she will be SO scary. I wish someone would get her snookered before the show so she'd let loose.

Helio and Julianne - The judges are on crack. They had way more chemistry, IMO, than Sabrina and Mark, and their rumba was way better, technically. I agree about his weird pained porn face, though--that wasn't too pretty.

Mel B and Maks - HATED that she got to dance to a Spice Girls song, but loved her samba. Loved the grip around the neck lift move--it was the most fun Samba and that's why she and Maks are getting half my votes.

Cameron and Edyta - I thought it was the steamiest rumba, and I was very impressed, but once again Carrie Ann had the bitchface on, so I knew she'd dock them lower. Whatever, Edyta is silky and sexy and Cameron wiggled his hips and if I weren't splitting my votes already I'd give him a vote or two.
Puds38
Marie: Any criticism I had for her I will let slide, because I would said "Oh crap" as well if I ended up on the floor after blacking out. (Now watch Entertainment Tonight milk it.)
With 7's across the board she needs all the sympathy votes she can get. What the hell was she wearing? Those ruffles made her look like a shaved poodle on Easter.
hendersonrocks
Hot damn, Cameron and Edyta. That shit was on fire. Relatedly, I loved his shout out to his wife for being so understanding...it was a nice moment.

Everyone else was pretty blah to me, honestly. A lot of them looked like they were dancing in slow motion, even when they were supposed to be. I'm glad Marie is okay, so I don't feel too bad talking about god-awful that outfit was. Seriously...that might be the worst I've ever seen on this show, and that says a lot. A lot.
The Evil One
I really thought Marie was play-acting to emphasize how difficult the dance was. After all, she is such a ham! I was stunned when it was real. Wow. Freaky! Thank goodness she is okay.
Babs1981
I agree. The Marie thing was very disturbing to see. I thought she fainted as a joke. Then you could tell by Bergeron and the Judges reactions it wasnt. I hadnt seen anyone pass out before and at first I thought it may have been very serious. Glad she is ok and the "Oh crap" reaction is priceless lol.

I love Jane but I feel she is being overscored every week. I love Jennie but a 9?? Come on Glen.
msrayrudd
Marie—Funny that she wanted the 10’s this week when I thought this was her weakest to date and showed all her flaws. I thought it was slow and lifeless. But OMG, scariest moment ever on this show. They don’t call it live television for nothing. Glad Marie is okay and I give her credit for just laughing it off.

Jane—I agree with the beautiful lines, but I’m still waiting to see a feisty dance from her. It was nice, but if not particularly memorable. That seems to be the biggest issue I have with her dances. But I’m not sure if that is more Tony.

Mark—This could be his undoing this week. The fact they showed him fighting with Kym over just wanting to entertain and not necessarily really wanting the content. But I Dream of Jeannie? Are they running out of music that we have moved onto theme music?

Sabrina—I liked it. I’m not sure where I fall on the Len/Bruno debate because while I’m not a fan of over the top tricks, I didn’t think this was over the top. But I don’t know enough about the rhumba to know if it was lacking content. I liked her costume this week too. Am I fully on the Sabrina train? Might be.

Jennie—She did stall a bit. She had the content and attacked that, but I agree the performance wasn’t quite there. She can’t sell the sexy. Which I agree as much as I like her, she needs to get over. I also did think it fell apart a bit at the end. I hope she gets enough votes to be safe though. I want to see more of her and Derek. But I agree with Carrie Anne in that Jennie seems way more comfortable in the dances she can act her way through.

Helio—I thought he did decently, but was missing hip action. Also I find that his facial expressions are over the top. He’s trying, that’s for sure. So I can’t ding him there. I’m surprised the judges actually called him out, but it will just rile the fans up to vote.

Mel—Best samba of the night IMO. This season confuses the hell out of me, as I find myself liking somebody different every week. Go Mel, but I loved Posh just standing there expressionless while the rest of the Spice Girls joked around.

Cameron—Again, okay. But it was mostly Edyta posing and I didn’t really buy their chemistry. I realize the rhumba is about the woman, but Edyta goes a bit over the top. Surprised Len called her on it though. I might like him better than Helio though.

Random celebs night in the front row—Heather Mills, Florence Henderson, Tori Spelling, Jennifer Esposito, Sookie .
I’m torn. I want to vote and enjoyed Mel and Sabrina the most tonight.

At this point I would like to see Mark and Marie go first. But after Marie fainted, I don’t see that happening. However, I’m worried that Jennie is vulnerable and want to see her stick around.
jipijapa
Also, I have to say, Tom Bergeron handled it very well in getting them to cut to the commercial and not sounding panicky. (had she come to at that point?)
twistedsoul7
Samantha is a moron. Next week? Bwah. I loved his "Tomorrow even". Go away lady!

Dude Marie passed out. That was freaky. Glad she is alright though, but now that is what everyone will talk about. Yay pity votes! She was a trooper though. I never knew she was a funny lady.

Jennie Garth is adorable. I hope she makes it to the finals.

Helio and Julianna creep me out. I don't know why, but they just do.

Sabrina bores me.

Spice Girls! Mel and Maks were alright. Shocked by the 29. And "Spice Up You Life?" Awesome.

I predict Mark will leave. He needs to leave.
Little Eddie
First time posting, so please forgive.

For some unexplained reason, the ABC affiliate in St. Louis stopped broadcasting right after Mark Cuban's routine. Couldn't receive a signal over regular tv or DirectTV, so please be as descriptive as you can be. The evening was a total washout here in the Gateway City.
Peepjr
Other than waiting for the episode Edyta will just wear gauze

Gauze held up by fishing wire. But if I had her body I would probably run around half nekkid too.
CloudyGumdrops
but I think may tbe he first shock of the season and Helio may go instead.

Well, their line is busy. I haven't been able to get through once. So, that's a good sign. At least for us Helianne fans it is.
TVGuy88
Um, I thought Marie falling to the floor was quite scary. I didn't know if she'd just passed out or had a heart attack or what. Can you imagine how horrible it would be if a contestant dropped dead on national television?

OMG, I had the same thought. I was totally freaked out and then the commerical break they took seemed to drag on forever so I was getting worried at that point.
MarigoldSkye

So did I! I heard her give a little sigh, and fall down, and I thought Jonathan was going to catch her and they'd laugh about how strenuous it was. I was stunned when nobody made a noise and they went to commercial and just showed her lying there.

P.S. Julianne, Helio? Maks and Willa called, they want their beach rumba practice scene back.
msrayrudd
Meant to add, what's with the sudden emphasis trying to pretend there is something going on between Helio and Julianne. Least convincing showmance ever.

Samantha is still a moron. Just when I thought she wasn't as horrible tonight she says "See you next week."
meowing
I'm glad Marie is OK. She looked great while she was dancing (I can't believe she's 48 and I'm saying that at nearly 45), although she's danced better other weeks. The fainting shocked me and the LOOOONG string of commercials made me nervous as to what was going on.

Live television. Normally I love live TV but when something like this happens, it's quite nervewracking to have to wait through commercials to find out what is happening. On the other hand, what else were they supposed to do?
jipijapa
Gauze held up by fishing wire

Vaseline, glitter and pasties.

Least convincing showmance ever

What showmance? Everyone and his brother knows he's engaged and soon to be married. I don't think they're doing that at all.

I agree. As usual, Sabrina attacked it like it was trying to kill her, and she managed to scare the romance out of the dance. I guess we now know she can't do slow and sexy. Just hard and sharp.

Marie scared the hell out of me. Tom handled it well, and you could truly hear the concern and panic in Jonathan's voice when he also yelled for them to cut to commercial. When they finally came back, she looked awful, and you could tell how worried Jonathan was for her. She just seemed to hyperventilate and pass out.

Someone please do something to make Samantha pass out, fast! I find it ironic that Samantha Who? is on after this, and that's what we all wish we were saying as Drew continued on as co-host...

ETA...Sabrina and Mark are so boinking...
DinkyD21
It's Mark's turn to go, and Helio is dropping fast. This is the third time he's bored me.

Cam's words to his wife were nice, though I was thinking she must be used to this as you strip you just about every chance you get on the show and simulate sex with several women. Haha.

I thought Mel/Maks was fantastic and just so full of life. I love the Spice song shout-out, and I was glad to see she pulled herself up after that bottom two nonsense. She should've never been there.

Marie scared the shit out of me. The audience was laughing until they realized it was a real scare. Holy long ass commercial break.

Sabrina was good, but a little too forceful. I felt their chemistry more so than Camyta as they were evenly matched in the workout.

Cam had the most simple costume and it worked this week.
tip and fall
I don't get why the audience was going crazy over Helio and Julianne's dance. I agreed with the judges -- there was no chemistry and you could practically hear Helio thinking, Okay, now I put my arm around like this...keepaseriousfacekeepaseriousface...
DarkVamp70
Maks and Mel really breathed life into that show! Ain't nothin' like Maks' samba hips!

Roberto Benini, er, Helio danced like he needed a laxative.....

Jane's figure is off the chain! She looked good!

Sabrina and Mark Ballas tried to bring the sexy but I wasn't feelin' it!

Mark Cuban gotsta go!!!!!!!!!! He sucks!!

That's the thing about chemistry. It's very subjective. I'm sure there were plenty of people out there who saw the chemistry between them. Me for one. They were smokin! IMO
marigold
Got the same blackout here - also in the Gateway and using local and DirecTV. I'm seriously bummed out. I wait all week to watch this show and geek out about dance while eating dinner off of a plate on my lap in the TV room. Sigh, at least it was Samba/Rumba night. I always find it so painful to watch the untrained try those two dances. You have to be sexy spagetti to get it done right and it looks so akward without the flexibility and training behind it.
jim045
Glad that Marie's OK and that she came back with her usual quick wit. I think the scores were where they should have been given that the dance was relatively slow, but she and Jonathan work so well together...the definition of teamwork. And in the midst of it all, she did a fair amount of actual dancing, not just standing around while the professional did all the hard work (yes you, Mark, Helio and Cameron)

Speaking of Cameron, my dislike for him grows...it's not necessarily the dancing...his personality grates. Calm down bucko.

Have the feeling that this is Mark's final week, although I wouldn't be surprised if Marie started showing up in the bottom two on a fairly regular basis. As much as I like her, she is the weakest of the remaining women.

However, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Helio was bottom two this week.
College Fan
Wow, I'm glad Marie was okay. I didn't actually see it happen because I was eating dinner with my mom, but it appeared that she was breathing quite heavily, and then all of a sudden we hear a loud thud and my mom and I look over and see her on the ground and we are wondering what happened. It was a long commercial break when that happened, since it was live, and they (Master Control; I'm a Communications major) had to wait for the okay from the Producers that they could go back on the air. They could at least use "sympathy votes", and I hope they aren't the ones eliminated tomorrow.
tip and fall
That's the thing about chemistry. It's very subjective.

I never denied that, just said that I didn't understand it myself. The problem was more on his side than hers. His "sensual" face just made me want to laugh.
donnamarie
Looks like all the women had bosom envy last week, because the girls came out to PLAY tonight!

Marie: So glad you're all right. That was a scary moment; it seemed to take so long to come back from commercial break.

Jane: Lovely and graceful. When is she going to bust loose with some moves?

Mark: Dallas called...they need you home. Who dances to the I Dream of Jeannie theme music? Didn't they dance to Bewitched a few weeks ago?

Sabrina: This was her best week, IMO. I thought she did an excellent job.

Jennie: I enjoyed her too.

Helio: That was about as sexy as spinach. He danced most of the dance with his eyes closed as if he was picturing those little footsteps on the floor trying to get a clue as to the next move.

Mel: Best dance of the night. Her choreography was intricate and difficult, and she really pulled it off.

Cameron: Smokin'!!
CloudyGumdrops
The voting is pissing me off. I only got in 2 votes for Helianne and I've been reached my call in limit. Do the busy signals count somehow? I have no clue, but I'm starting to wonder if they do.
Tranquility
One can hope Samantha saying that we'll see her next week, means that we won't have to see her tomorrow.

Overall, I kind of thought this night was a tad lackluster. My favourites tonight would have to be Mel and Maks/Jennie and Derek for the Sambas and Jane and Tony/Cameron and Edyta for the Rumbas. I really wanted to like Sabrina's and Mark's, but all I could think about during theirs, was how creepy it would've been to be dancing with your partner's mother in the room and having her near demand for you two to be making out.

Personally if i'm going to place any bets with who's leaving tomorrow, i'm going to say Mark. He's again at the bottom, but the two couples closest to him are both quite popular, and one has a better chance of getting any non-dance related sympathy votes.
dreamwriter31
I was petrified when I realized that Marie wasn't joking around and it was serious. Glad she was ok, though.

Could the judges give Sabrina any more of a tongue bath? Good Lord. It's not obvious who they want to win this thing, is it?

Jennie is cute as a button, but she took a step back tonight I thought. The performance was a bit stiff. Still want her to stick around though.

As much as I like Helio and Julianne, that was painful to watch tonight. You could tell he was doing everything in his power not to smile.

I loved Mel and Maks. But then again, I love Maks 24/7 so I'm biased. It was a good samba, I thought. Not sure if it was worthy of two tens though.

See ya, Mark Cuban. Been nice knowing ya!
twinmom
I liked Derek and Jennie's Samba right after they danced it, but now I really can't remember anything special about it. The same with Tony and Jane's Rumba. I think that's how couples end up in the bottom two, good, but not memorable. I tend to split my votes between couples who really WOW! me and someone who I want to keep around for another week. I know that's probably how Mel and Maks ended up there last week.
missmaisydaisy
Most BORING night yet. Only Maks/Mel were great. I enjoyed Jennie/Derek, thought Jane has one damn hot body for any age, much less 56 (no bat wing arms, no jelly belly, amazing) and am soooooo tired of Helio and Julianne (she's looked fried with that overblonde hair). Sabrina/Mark - she still can't do slow/sensual.

Cameron and Edyta were good, but there's something about him that I find so boorish that I can't get into them.

I hope next week is tons better. And I hope it's Helio/Julianne (yes, seriously...he's starting to look pained when he dances, and I don't mean physical pain) or Mark/Kym who leave.
Freckles101
I missed the last half hour, so unfortunately I missed Mel/Maks and Helio/Julianne, but I'm glad that Mel did a good job. She had the highest score, right? Who didn't give her a 10?

My gosh, except for Jennie and Jane (who looked absolutely gorgeous), all of the women's outfits were hideous tonight, especially Marie and Sabrina's.
annsmith
Cameron Wow! I was worried he would be carried from week to week and not deserve to stay. He has certainly risen to the occasion. Fabulous dance. And Shut Up Carrie Ann about the damn lifts.

Jenni I think she is capable of rising to the top but needs to work on her performance. I think her nerves get to her.

Mel B. I hope she stays. Great Dance.

Mark I have a soft spot for Mark. His performance tonight was enjoyable. He is looking mighty fine too!!!

Helio Not bad but acting is not his talent.

JanePretty but seriously lacking content.

Marie I am glad she is okay but her dance was not that great.

Sabrina Every time the judges overly praise her they loose my vote.

Cameron for the encore dance?
marigold
Could someone please post the standings for me?
va32h
What a weird night. I thought everyone was pretty blah.

Marie looked so much better in her practice videos - what the hell do they do to her in hair & makeup? And what an unflattering dress. Bad 80's junior prom. I thought the dresses ought to have movement - fringe or something, not those nasty ruffles. She lost her footing a few times and I was as shocked as any of you when she fainted. Thank goodness she's okay and how sweet of her to apologize repeatedly! Marie, it's all right!

Mel and Maks had the best samba but again with the hideous outfits. Mel's would have been okay without that rainbow thing on her neck but Maks' sparkles and rainbow shirt combination looked ridiculous.

I had a neighbor drop by during Sabrina & Mark's routine so I missed the whole thing. Not sure what "tricks" Len was griping about.

I think they want Mark to leave - just based on the comments this week which are so vastly different from previous weeks. The judges have gone from "you're working so hard and we respect that" to "you're never gonna get any better."

Of course Mark's attitude isn't helping. He seems to be getting a tad cocky after three weeks of being "saved" by the fans.

Susan Lucci giving Edyta tips on being sexy is ridiculous. Edyta pulled of sexy with George Hamilton for heaven's sake. I felt for both Kym and Edyta in their rehearsal footage. They need to be more like Tony and Maks. "I'm the pro, don't argue, do it my way." Julianne seems to have that down at least.

I really thought Marie was play-acting to emphasize how difficult the dance was. After all, she is such a ham!

So did I! I heard her give a little sigh, and fall down, and I thought Jonathan was going to catch her and they'd laugh about how strenuous it was. I was stunned when nobody made a noise and they went to commercial and just showed her lying there.

How prophetic was Cheryl (although "prophetic" isn't quite the right word)? Anyone remember back in the 1st or 2nd week (I think 2nd) when Wayne was asking her about do-overs, and she said that the only time they would stop the show was if someone got hurt, and they'd cut to commercial if that happened. And now we've actually seen that happen. As has been said and implied, that's the perils of live TV.

It's good to see someone had a plan in advance and everyone knew it, and even better to know that Marie's apparently ok.

Favorite dances were Mel B's and Jane's. I am *so* over Helio and Sabrina.
StewartTeddy
I seriously was shitting a brick when they took so long to come back from commercial break after Marie fainted. Wow, that was quite a scary moment, glad she is okay. Best dance of the night for me was Max and his partner hee hee. He is smoking hot!
donnamarie
OK, I just made up words about my cat to the I Dream of Jeannie song. Please, please, please get out of my head! Thanks a lot Dancing with the Stars.

They really need Drew back. How incredibly rude was Samantha when she said to Marie (first thing) "If you thought that (faintingi) was going to get you 10's, well think again" (or something like that - I know I got the first part of the line right).

She has no sense of decorum or nuance or anything. If I were Marie, I would have smacked her.

I played it back and watched it again. If she "knows" she passes out when she gets winded, why did she jump up and down at the end of the dance a few times when she was already winded? Just saying. Not smart.

Happy she's ok, but....

West coastie here...

It'll be interesting to see how they edit the incident w/Marie. My bet is they won't show it out here, considering we miss out on all the "costume mishaps" and "cowboy hat" moments. <shakes fist at producers>

I thought Marie was joking around at first...yikes.

After seeing Jane, I watched most of the rest of the show from the comfort of my crunch ball. I guess I'd become accustomed to watching Kym, Julianne, and Edyta and their little toned tummies, but Jane made me want to go do some cardio. Her dance was pretty, but I thought sorta boring.

Cameron is really looking less and less stiff, which is nice.

It was cool to see Mel get some attention after last week, and Jennie was fun to watch as usual.

I agree that Helio was making a funny face trying to be serious, but I didn't think the actual dance was as bad as the judges made it out to be.

I just read a post by someone who said their favorites were changing from week to week and I'm glad to hear (read) that I'm not the only one.
janerazor
My daughter and I were just casually chatting about Marie's performance when THUNK! It took us a second to realize that Marie had fallen to the ground. Jeez, she dropped like a sack of bricks, too. Heh, not at all "like the romantic swoon of the movies" was right on the button.

I like Helio, so I thought the judges were a bit harsh with him. And, yeah, Mark's dance wasn't that great, but upon reflection, it was entertaining.

Edited to add: My daughter thought for a minute that Marie was just pretending to pass out. She is a bit crazy.

ITA. I yelled at the TV, "now is not the time to be interviewing her you idiot!" They should've quickly done the scores, & then taken her to the medic. If TPTB read any of this, please listen up: GET RID OF SAMANTHA. She is horrible. Bring back Drew.

Loved Mel & Maks, & Jennie & Derek. I didn't think Julianne & Helio were quite as bad as the judges made them out to be. And once again, though I admit she's the technically best dancer, I hated Sabrina. I just want her off my favorite show, but I know that's not going to happen. She's the ringer & will be a finalist. And I will be voting against her every step of the way.

I can't see any difference between Mark Cuban and Helio at this point, other than Helio and Julianne make me uncomfortable when they dance together, while I have fun with Mark and Kym. Kym does look exactly like Barbara Eden. I think they deserve to go, and therefore I didn't give them any votes, but if they somehow outlasted Helio and Julianne (we all know that's going to happen!), I wouldn't be upset.

My favorite part of tonight's show was Mark Ballas' hip action. His facial expressions bugged me, but damn those hips and that ass.

When I saw Heather Mills, I went, "Uh-oh." Whaddya ya know, Heather's hate vibes caused Jonathan's new partner to faint!

I agree Jennie's nerves got to her. I'm nervous for Derek so I gave them half my votes. My other half went to Maks and Mel.

Why were all the sambas tonight so slow? The Drew/Cheryl and Stacy/Tony sambas were on fire. People go on about how much trashy the show is these days, but I sure didn't see it tonight.

Could they be *any* less subtle in propping up Cameron? The rumba is the dance where the man is a prop. No wonder he didn't suck. Seriously, he was better this week. I loved Edyta. Hot. HOT. Now why did we have to have that ugly pig Blob after their dance?

Disappointing week overall. Now my DWTS nightmare scenario of Cameron and Helio in the final three is closer to coming true.
