Now we can all talk about the Blaine to Taylor's Greg. She's the blonde.

Does this kid ever communicate with words? I can't remember hearing her actually say a damn thing, but she's always there, laughing sycophantically at whatever crap comes out of Taylor's mouth. So far? I think I hate her worse than Taylor, cause if there's anything worse than a pompous, self-centered brat, it's her mute sidekick.

In another thread I called her Taylor's Toady, which I think is about right. She is another pageant/model kid and seems to have the same mindset about not doing her share of the work.

It's a lot harder to be an evil mastermind when you don't have a sidekick. Though we never hear her speak, she's a near-constant presence by Taylor's side (don't know how she handles being at the council table without Leila !), and like others have said, she only supports and confirms Taylor's attitude. If the rest of the Yellow team was more like Zach, and there was say, a Morgan or Sophia in Leila's spot, Taylor would be forced to change her attitude, fast.
Maybe she's a sweet kid, but she's BFF with the beauty queen version of a bully, and that's not cool.

I was kind of proud of Leila when she decided for once to think on her own and help with garbage duty instead of shirking like Taylor. She did it because she was afraid of being punished but it was still nice that she went against Taylor. It was sad that she had to go back to being her sidekick. It looks like she'll always be serving whoever's the Queen Bee in her future.

Does Leila have any eyebrows? Whenever she appears, that's all I tend to fixate on.

Probably not. With all of her pageantry(She's been doing it longer than Taylor has), her parents probably waxed them all off.

Well, Leila's blonde and fair-skinned, so on camera and without makeup, she appears to be browless.

Yes she's so fair she's bordering on an albino look. I do see the eyebrows but they're just so blonde, they're almost white.
Ugh, can't stand her whiny voice.

Boy, Taylor sure is a bad influence on Leila. Leila's actually the only one of Taylor's posse who seems to follow her around unconditionally. She may be a sweet girl on her own, but combined with Taylor, she's a recipe for trouble. You can tell she's not as stubborn or defiant as her BFF, though. When faced with possible punishment (twice now), she's capitulated to the others' requests and left Taylor to fight it out on her own.

The wisecrack about Taylor's breath in the credits gave me a sign of hope for her!

Despite the great line about Taylor's breath, I don't really trust Leila. It seems like she happily slacks along with Taylor till the last possible second. Then when the council comes calling, she immediately turns her back on Taylor with a "You're so bad, Taylor. I'm going to go be good now!" So she makes Taylor look worse and herself look better by comparison. Once they're off her back, she goes right back to Taylor. At least Taylor's upfront and in your face about what she does (or doesn't do).

I don't know. It just seemed to me that Leila was fine with the slacking until there appeared to be some actual retribution and she decided slacking was no longer worthwhile. I feel like her attitude was: "Yeah, I'm goofing off. What are you going to do about it?" When told by the Town Council exactly what they were going to do about it she then thought: "Okay. I don't want to pay that price. Guess I'll start working." And, in both instances that we've seen, she then tries to convince Taylor to back down as well because the price is too high. So, I do see some loyalty to Taylor in her actions but she decides she's not going down with a sinking ship and leaves Taylor to her own devices.

Yeah, I think the difference between Taylor and Leila is that Leila responds to threats, whereas they make Taylor dig her heels in. I don't think either one is necessarily the "right" way to react; they're just different.

I couldn't agree more. Leila fully supports and helps Taylor slack off. When they are confronted, she sits back and lets Taylor do all the talking then she'll instantly turn her back on her.

So I was reading the Q&A on the kids and noticed this exchange on Leila's:
What world leader do you admire?
The king of Morocco Mohammed 6th and Martin Luther King, Jr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. I understand but most American kids would not even know Morocco had a king, let alone his name. Anyone know the story on this?

Some Moroccans are blond, and I know a half Moroccan girl who is very blond even though her father is quite dark. She's not as fair as Leila, however. Leila looks like a glass of milk.

I swear, the girl is an albino! Seriously, there was a shot of her with her mother and father. Her dad looks typically Moroccan, with darker skin, and her mom is blonde, but nowhere
near as blonde as Leila.

I don't think Leila has albinism at all since she has freckles. I found it funny that while Leila is one of the "beauty queens", she may get fat like her mother if she's not careful!

Wow, if
this is Leila, she looks totally unrecognizable (second last pic from the bottom). When I first saw this website, I seriously though it was take-off of child pageants, as the girls look WAY over done, so much so that I actually thought it was a parody! Those girls' faces look old with all that makeup - very creepy.
Where was the shot of her Dad mentioned upthread? Was it on the episode or her photos online? I can't check online because there seems to be a glitch on the website - it show Alex's photos when you click within Leila's profile.
I also noticed that in the interview linked to upthread, it appears Leila is wearing foundation because you can't see her freckles. Who puts foundation on a little girl?! Little girls don't need foundation! Plus, freckles at that age are endearing. Ugh, talk about clogging her skin prematurely.

That pageant guy is creepy.
Just one man's opinion here, but just about anything to do with pageants is creepy to me...especially for girls that young.
When I was in graduate school at UNC one summer, there was a "pageant" festival held on campus. Several hundred mothers and their little girls (from age 4 to about 12) came from all over the Southeast to compete...and they stayed in some of the vacant dorms and ate in one of the campus dining rooms.
On Saturday, one little girl stopped on the way back from lunch and started tap-dancing in the quadrangle...under the keen eye of her mother, who looked on nodding with approval. Another mother came by, and said something like, "Oh, that's real nice honey. It's a shame you're having so much trouble with that left-foot heel-and-toe twist." Then she turned to HER little girl and said, "Suzy, show this sweet little girl how to do that." Sure enough, Suzy starts stomping away for all she's worth. And in about fifteen minutes, the whole quadrangle was filled with what must have been several dozen little girls...tapping, singing, doing cartwheels, turning flips, and twirling batons. (Who "just happens" to take a baton to lunch?) And not a single one of those little girls looked like she was having any fun at all.
I swear, it was like being in one of those old "Twilight Zone" episodes...gave me the boo-boo jeebies.

LOL...not that the situation was funny for the kids involved but I'm getting a mental image of you having to be in the middle of that scene and picturing if it was me and yeah; very creepy. Honestly I agree about the whole pagent thing.
My sister cracks me up when it comes to discussing children pagents; anytime anything to do with it is shown on television or pictured somewhere she says in a completely serious voice, "that is so child abuse, I don't care what the parents say." I think what really creeps me out about it is how much the kids come to resemble dolls. I mean that's just not natural...you look at these pictures and it's like looking at wax figures, not real people.

That is really disturbing. She's wearing so much makeup you can't even tell for sure that it's the same Leila from the show, ugh. I'm assuming it has to be though, since that's not the most common name in the world. I want to know how old that Taylor Sherman below her is...she looks about 30. 'Beauty pagents' have always really freaked me out.
