Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be the moderator for this subforum, at least for now. I don't know if I'll be around permanently, or if it'll be someone else, or what.

I've merged two threads together because they had a lot of similar discussion: The Simpsons on DVD and The Simpsons DVD Commentaries.

I'm surprised no one has said it yet, but I for one, welcome our new TWoP overlord.

Anyway, are there any plans for The Simpsons to get weecap'ed at some point in time? I noticed that The Office and other sitcoms have been given that treatment and was curious whether or not The Simpsons would make the grade.

Course, I'm mostly asking to see if we can get a spiffy new forum to ourselves rather than the subforum that we have now.

As far as I know, there are no plans to weecap this show. If that changes, I'll do a happy dance and then post about it here.

Here's hoping that all of you celebrating U.S. Thanksgiving find a delicious turkey or Tofurkey behind your bed today.

Question for you: Should the name of the Survivor game thread be changed to something more general, like The Simpsons Survival Games? It's not just character-related so the current title seems a little off to me.

No biggie, but since you guys are the ones who use it I thought I'd get your opinions before I went changing it, willy-nilly.

I've been reassigned to a recapped show. As my last act as mod, I'll be unpinning the mod thread and the newest episode thread. I don't think you're getting another mod, so if you should ever need anything (a troll spams the forum, a thread title needs editing, the pig tracks won't come off the ceiling, etc), please use the Forum Traffic Court or Troll Patrol.

Oh no! Knowing Springfield, without an authority figure around, an angry mob is likely to ensue. We'll need to get SpringShield on the case, I guess.
