Just a couple of suggestions...

For the media thread, it would Rock (heh) to have it subtitled

"And you can read about that on the interweb!" or "Yeah, Suck It! We Do Read The Newspaper!"

For the Survival Game, I humbly suggested "Corporate Downsizing."

Sorry to nitpick, because it's a great title, but the quote for the media thread (if we're going by the episode dialogue) should be: "Yeah, suck it! We do read the paper!" Not the newspaper.

I know "Rocketeers" is for the characters, but will there be actor threads as well?

For now I think the actors and characters can be talked about in the same thread. If it seems like any particular actor is getting a lot of discussion we can parse it into two separate threads. I prefer to keep them together if possible, though. Thanks!

Not sure if you will know this as you are the mod, not the recapper, but will season 1 be getting weecaps or recaps or will you just pick up with season 2?

You're right: I DON'T know that. I'll be anticipating those weecaps (if they come) just as much as the rest of you.

Hi, I remember in the old Studio 60 thread there was some sort of "Studio 60 as a whole" thread that was sort of a nice catch-all to talk about the overall gestalt of the show, beyond specific episodes, characters, or elements.

For instance I might want to mention something that I've noticed in the writing for multiple characters, over several episodes. Would that be possible to have a thread for that? (I can't think of a catchy name for the thread, but could if the answer was yes.) Or which existing thread would you suggest for that sort of thing.

Yeah, that's fine. You can call it "Discussion of all seasons" or whatever, with a clever subtitle if you can think of one.

Just a reminder that if you want to post about the writers strike as it pertains to "30 Rock," it's OK to do so in the Media thread. But if you're posting about other shows or the strike in general, please take it to the TV Industry Watch thread.

Would it be appropriate to start a thread for things like 30 Rock production trivia, set decorator's humor, "easter eggs", and the like? I'm thinking about things like the sign over a storefront in ep 1-21 that said "Needmore Drug Counseling" (haha) or another poster's mention of a sign held outside of the Today Show window that said "Time Travelers Like Matt Lauer-Tron". Maybe name the thread "Theater Tech, Lefthandedness, and Work Sneakers"?

I don't really have a question - just want to say that I think it's great you have a thread on this show! It's refreshing that after all these years, TWoP has finally decided to let sitcoms in!

How about a merchandising thread? The show has at least three different official t-shirts, a bobblehead toy, and the usual NBC mugs & whatnot. Or could the DVD thread just be expanded to include all merchandise?

My DVR has a new episode listed for tonight ("Sandwich Day") but I don't see a new episode thread. Will one be created?

arc, a merchandise thread is totally fine by me. You definitely don't have to ask to open a new thread. If it's not relevant, I'll just close it later, but if it's a thread you've seen around TWoP, I'm probably OK with it.

HotBlooded, someone opened one — which is what should happen if I forget to open it. I should have opened it early as usual, because I was out watching Ira Glass at the movie theater tonight.
