Hey there, Dick’s mom is so proud! Her child! Her grandchild! Threatening rape and whining horribly for three whole months! She’s so proud! Vincent’s so proud, too! They’re so lovable! A family reconnected! Unity! Peace! Love! This whole show is a Christmas miracle! The cockles of my heart? Warmed.
The America’s Player Reveal... was kind of lame. Everyone is shocked! It’s so funny! It helped Dick and Daniele win in the end, so everything is coming up roses! Whoo-yeah!
And Dick wins, just like it was prophesized by Nostradamus hundreds of years ago. What a horrific, if appropriate, end to a really fucking awful season. The only solace I find is in Jen being awesome, and the miniscule hope that some intrepid reporter will be like “So, hey, what’s with the fact that you guys suck so much?”
Did... did Julie totally snake her way out of going to the wrap party? Daniele asked her if she was going, and it sounded, essentially, like, “HAHAHAHA no.”

Words cannot even express how much I.Love.Jen! Loved her whole thing tonight. It was really good seeing her.
And yay for the huge deflation of Dick's ego when America's player was revealed. Of course, it now inflates because Dick knows that he was America's favorite. I really don't care who of the dispicable two won.

The only good that can come out of this is the media FINALLY gets to talk to those twits and call them on their crap. Though I was highly amused that Julie (in Super Glitter Upgrade Mode) had to explain to Daddy and Daughter how the interview will work.
Good bye and good riddance.

I like how during the America's Player reveal, they didn't show the "Kiss Jessica" vote and the "Woobie Story" vote. Then later Eric tells Jessica that everything they shared was all him, the real him.
And that's all I'll talk about.

I am so sickened by the Donato snog fest recap of the season. They still both "win" no matter how you slice it. Even the America's Player reveal was lame. So anti-climactic.
Ugh.

And so ends the most vile season of Big Brother 8 by giving the prize to the most vile player of the game ever. Well done, CBS.
Best moment of the night (and the only real reason to watch the episode): Dick's realization that he wasn't the clever mastermind. He had tons of help from America. Hope you also enjoy never seeing your daughter again.
Also, did Jen and Chenbot hug before the episode began? They were quite the glittery.

Well despite the horrible F2, I actually liked that. There was minimal focus on the Donatos which was the best scenario. I am glad it's over, but I will also miss it a little(but not as much as in the past). It has been quite a season. Some of the best BB moments.
Loved Jen, Eric, and Jessica. Jen and Jessica are hot.

I'm mad at the result, but the only things worthwile about the finale was the jury ripping the shit out of the Delightful Donatos. Jameka calling Danielle a pimp and Dick her ho was classic.
The reveal was sooo disappointing. I wanted more drama...so much more drama.
Does anyone get the sense that Danielle was trying to avoid Nick with the whole 'awkward' thing?
I'm out of things to say other than that Jen is awesome.

Well, I didn't watch it because I couldn't bring myself to give the show ratings. But I did tune in for the last five minutes to see Dick and Daniele walk out of the house.
I was happy to see Jen immediately go over and hug Kail and Carol. Finally she is away from those fucked up people who treated her like shit and didn't think twice about it.
I also liked how Julie and Daniele's mics were still on and we could hear Daniele asking Julie if she would be attending the wrap party and Julie was like, "Um... no."
Sounds like Jen had other moments in tonight's show. I'll be sure to watch it uploaded somewhere other than cbs.com (they are getting no more hits from me). For the last time this season: Jen is awesome.

So once again the biggest sociopath in the house claims the top prize and rides off into instant obscurity until next summer...maybe.

I'm no Jen fan, but boy did I love her speech. She was right, they both suck.
Daniele is so disappointed, hence her saying that she wasn't. Unless Dustin (I love Dustin) or someone else asked her if she was disappointed. Otherwise, I see no reason to say that you aren't. After all, you both won.
Jameka looked great, as always.
Speaking of Jameka, I loved her comment about the pimp and her whore.
AP reveal was so not funny or exciting. Half of them suspected something. I just wish Jen had said, I was right!
Congrats Daddy Douchebag. May you never grace my television screen again.

I'm just glad Daniele lost. The Donatos are horrible people and all of this isn't going to change any of that. At least Dick felt like the idiot he is when he found out about AP and it must be killing Daniele that Janelle won America's Choice and she constantly didn't.
Oh, and BB and Allison Grodner: Jen rules no matter how you end the show. She's still classy as always.
At least this hideous season is over. My hopes for Season 9 are to cast more likeable people and stop favoritism and producer manipulating.

First, Allison can shove her TPTB-made audience signs up her ass.
Second, Amber can shove her head up her ass. She is a bitch for asking Daniele about her Nick thing simply because Amber has absolutely no moral ground to stand on whatsoever.
I dislike Daniele for her little "WTF hand movements" when they cut back to her when Eric was telling Jess his feelings for her. I'm sure it disgusted her that someone was being honest.
Interesting though about what Jess said....I think you got a feeling for what she is thinking because she said something about being with him for so long and not knowing who he really was. Also, even more interesting that TPTB didn't tell them that Eric got paid for his tasks.
Nick is still a slut for everyone with his arm draped behind Joe and his body language clearly turned towards Joe.
Oh, and slutty Chenbot rocks! Love the leather skirt.
And, I love that Daniele didn't win after saying she hope to be sitting next to her dad. I guess he signs a contract saying he cannot give her any of the money?

"How does it feel to know that America put mustard on your shirt?" Or whatever she said...always have to get the digs in, they do
Yes, but Jen's response was great.
Julie Chen: Now you know that it was America who basically poured mustard on your shirt. This is your chance to address the nation. What do you have to say?
Jen: Well I was wondering who was that childish when it happened. I was like 'Who does this?' But now, I see. It was America.Yes. America is childish.
ETA: I also LOVED Jameka's 'She's a pimp. He's a Ho' speech. There were very few of this crowd that I liked. And Jameka is on that very short list. I have very little against Eric and Jessica. Hmm. Yes, I think that's the end of the list.

Anti-climatic ending...
Eric reminds me of that weasel kid from the cartoon Recess. Shifty eyed and hunched over. Sniveling. I wonder if Jessica will be sipping beer with him at the after party.
Jessica should feel like a dummy! She voted for Dick and it was more than likely at the influence of Eric. If she doesn't feel like a damn fool, then I don't know what to say.
Danielle..I am glad that she didn't win the money. At least now we won't have to hear her damn screechy voice. I noticed that her boyfriend was absent! She probably thought that he would be there to fight with Nick. Um. Nope. I am sure that he is sponging off some other woman.
Amber almost took a spill down the stairs. I'm such a bitch...I snickered. She also looked very confused by the entire America' Player thing. Could she be more stupid?
I LURVE that danggone Jen and Jameka.
Zach's smiles scare the shit out of me. I don't want to meet his big ass in a dark alley.
Let the backlash begin. Will we continue to discuss the backlash in this forum? *rubs hands*

NT, Richard won, so I think Vincent gets his share and Richard bribes Daniele for a relationship. Still, as Biggie sang, "The more money we come across, the more problems we see."

The only good that can come out of this is the media FINALLY gets to talk to those twits and call them on their crap.
Does anyone really expect some media hullabaloo? This is a dumb little summertime reality show that isn't on most people's radar at all. (I listen to the First Team on Fox Sports Radio do a quick rundown of the evening's shows every morning, and this was the first time they even mentioned Big Brother -- probably because it was the finale -- and they had nothing to say about it.) Even most of the people who watch the show have forgotten about it a few weeks after it's over. I have a hard time believing there are reporters out there just waiting to sink their teeth into Dick or Amber the way they would Michael Vick or Bill Belichick. If they are, that might be the saddest thing yet this season.

The blame really goes to text messaging. It makes lots of money so producers find ways to let "America Vote". But the downside is that you get results like Dick Donato and Taylor Hicks.

This may be all made up in my own mind because I hear what I want to, but it sounded like Dustin got huge cheers when he came out, then Jen got even louder cheers, and then no one else who came out got cheers as loud as the first two.
At the end, when Dick had his arm around Daniele and he kissed her on the cheek, I swear she shied away from him. She's pissed, and I couldn't be happier.

In rhe end, I am glad it was Dick. Don't get me wrong, I don't like either of them; but watching the montage of the last 3 months "high points" and hearing Danielle's high pitched squeal every time one of the D's won a challenge made me realize what a twat she is. The only good thing I got from this is that my two favorite HGs, Jen and Jameka, did not vote for Dick. I am glad they didn't do the whole "better strategy" bullshit. Oy....so much seen, so little to say.
I noticed the biggest cheers came for Jen, Jameka and Zach, just as I hoped it would....Zach in particular was funny coming out, big silly rabbit. Call me, Daddy.
Jessica, I don't care what you say, your Betty Booped face said it all....you are beyond pissed at Eric, and I love it!
Speaking of Vulture Boy, he looked like he was going to the gallows once the secret came out, everyone put on their serious game face, when you knew that they wanted to smash his stupid face in. Loved Dickwad feeling particularly stupid when it came out that AP was the biggest decision in voting Dustin out and not him.
Jen, you were classy to the end....much love to you, toots.
Nick looked yummy with his haircut....there, that's the only positive I'll say about him.
Interesting how Daniele hugged a woman that she's said jack shit to for how many years? Dick's mom is very pretty and Vincent isn't bad looking either. Chenbot practically fell to her knees in front of Dick once he was named the winner; couldya be anymore obvious heffa?!
Well Douchatos, here's to hoping that this money will affect you....and not in a good way.
