The fun that Survival Games bring + the awesomeness that's known as 30 Rock = the inevitable!

After 3 years, I hardly think I need to explain the rules. However, for the record...

The rules are simple: For those who may or may not know, everyone starts with 15 points. People either add two points (a.k.a. ++) or subtract two points (a.k.a. --) from the stars. People can also add or subtract just one point if he or she chooses to do so. When someone reaches 0, they're out of the game. You can only vote once a day, and you can only vote for or against three people per post. When half the field is gone (when 50% or more of the field is out), then people can only add one point (a.k.a. +) to his or her person of choice. You can still subtract two points (or one point) with half or more of the field gone. Whatever you decide to do is completely up to you. The first person to be the only person with a total of more than zero points wins. In other words, the last person standing wins.

Once again, in a nutshell, one set of vote (at the most daily); ++ and -- for up to three people (- and + are also acceptable), but when twelve people are gone, + and -- (- also acceptable).

Since it's the "inaugural" 30 Rock Survival Game, the plan was to lean more toward main characters only. However, unless a championship game of sorts, I'm more in the lines of a 15-25 person list (so as to have the game last longer than a week). Of course, over 30 is too much for me, as the game could last over 2 months. If I had to choose, I'm for it, although I would want to include Rachel Dratch somehow (the problem is how best to include her). Again, whatever is decided as a whole (majority-wise) ought to work.



I love it! You sure know how to choose the best subtitles, mtlchickie, especially when it takes no longer than 10 minutes to come up with another great one. I'm for it, except I can't edit the title of the thread I just created.

Yes I also want to include Dratch, but how? She will definitely have a good chance in the "Favorite Actor" game when it comes to that, but I really don't know how we'll fit her into this cast game. Maybe we can have kind of a.. other characters game, and include Dratch's characters, Dr. Spaceman, Jonathan, Phoebe, Floyd, Dennis, Dot Com and all the others.

Well, given that, hard-turned-easy decision made. We'll save that for later, and then combine the two later on! After all, the first game done for Idol only had ten people, and that turned out to be a success. Thanks.
