There are a couple I have in mind, but I'll probably have to pass on getting that going since it's likely to happen when the appropriate section surfaces. Waves to all!
We've got the Office, then with MNIE, this looked to be next. Here we are, making what looked like an awesome weekend twice as exciting, at least. That leaves one more show that would add to things that'll have me dying a happy man, and it's not the obvious one that would be off the hook to see; it's the other one.
Anyway, I'm Seabreeze, and a few of you might've spotted me in the Survivor, TAR, and Idol sections, as well as several of the sitcoms, sports, and every-so-often, 24. The past had me over at ER, CSI, and The West Wing. Looking forward to this new season, and all the great stuff to come!

I wasn't shocked when I saw this got a forum of it's on, but instead thrilled. This was easily my favorite new show of last season, which came as a surprise to me since it's rare that a comedy series makes my number one slot of new favorites. Alec Baldwin was always so-so to me (excluding his SNL appearances), but he ended up being one of the main reasons I watched this show each week.

Awes! 30 Rock and MNiE forums? It's smiles times for ol' Noir!
So yeah, I'm NoirCommeMoi (NCM for short) and I've recently come to the realization that I am a total competitive reality show ho. A piece of me belongs to Bravo's reality lineup, too. I hang out mostly in the MNiE, TV Potluck, and Competitive & Candid reality threads, but I only post in some of them. I don't post much in mega-fast threads because I just can't get to the computer fast enough to post before 30 pages on the latest Office ep have already appeared.
I've been a TWoPper for years, under a couple of different screen names. I've now learned my lesson and will behave accordingly with this one, so that I can one day achieve at least Couch Potato status. At least!
I'm extra excited about this forum! I wanna take TWoP behind the middle school...but it suffers from Avian Bone Syndrome.

I have been following this show thanks to the tiny porcelain hands of my distant American cousins and it has grown on me like Shark Week. I don't get all the references to other TV shows, but that doesn't matter because it's all based on interesting characters.
Hello!

Ah, but the beauty of the expanded forum is that we can now explain all those jokes to you (in the questions thread). We can have threads for so many things now, like a thread devoted to overanalyzing every funny line, gesture and head flip until it starts to feel like a dreadful masters level course on comedy writing with a professor we all hate... but, uh, totally confined to one thread! And a quote thread to regurgitate the scripts line by line, out of order! There's so much room! It's making me use too many exclamation points!
Introductions? I mostly post in TV Potluck, with stops in the Rec Room, The Daily Show & Colbert threads, various Other Show dramas and sitcoms (including MNIE) as they strike my fancy, assorted reality shows and The Soup. In other words, it's really disorienting that I suddenly have a bunch of newly colored backgrounds to post in.

Oh wow, first The Office and now 30 Rock!
And How I Met Your Mother. What a week this has been!
I'd spent so much time in the 'other' forums, I'd forgotten what it's like to have a show right here on the main page.
Now all my favorites are here! Yeah! (and plus, it's soooo blue in here, I'm feeling very relaxed :-) )
For this show, now I have somewhere to go when the jokes fly by too fast, or I don't catch the reference and need some clarification.
Introductions...sadly, I'll admit when I saw the premiere of this show I thought to myself "Huh?" (actually, that might have been out loud)
Then, a couple of weeks later I caught part of Jack-tor, like the part where Jack tries to be an actor. And again, I thought to myself, "Huh?". And then, to myself, since I was home alone at the time "what on earth happened to Alec Baldwin? he used to be a good actor." But then I heard Liz Lemon coaching him and thought.... wait a minute (I would have thought "By the Hammer of Thor!?", but that episode hadn't aired yet) this can't be for real, I mean, they really put this on television? and then, suddenly, I got the joke, and laughed til I cried at the rest of the episode.
Now, I have a mad case of scurvy (need more Lemon!), love my Big Beef and Cheddar and can't wait until the next episode.

Sweet! First, My Name is Earl, and now 30 Rock? My two favorite sitcoms are expanding! Woohoo!
I haven't posted in the older thread before (mainly hung out in the reality tv fourms and Friday Night Lights), but I'm a huge fan. To be honest, I originally tuned in just for Alec Baldwin, but around "The Blind Date", this show really took off, in my mind. Tina Fey became solid as a leading actress, Tracy Morgan managed to find his niche, without being too over the top, and Jack MacBrayer damn near stole the show.
I still think it's awesome that this little show managed to be one of the best new shows last season, while the more hyped Studio 60, crashed and burned. It's good to see the underdog make it.

Woo! 30 Rock is getting the respect and love it deserves! I'm not sure about the recaps though...if it were me I'd only be able to write "and then Liz says something funny, then Jack says something really funny, but then Liz says something really, really funny!" I guess that's why I'm not a recapper.
Are we supposed to introduce ourselves? I'm sourdoh and I'm happy to be watching a sitcom that made it past more than one season, am very fond of Jack's/Alec Baldwin's hair, often find myself singing "Muffintop," and hope that Bianca has opened another Arby's franchise. There.
Though I am happy to have this forum, I must say that this will complicate my life. How will I be able to keep track of everything?

Has anybody seen the Amex commercial with Tina Fey? I'm embarassed to admit that I actually rewound my DVR so I could watch the whole thing. I really like when she's doing octopus time with her daughter. I think Liz's office is nicer than the one they show Tina in, though. If that's her real office she should get some set designers up in there.

I've been watching the DVDs (I just bought them yesterday and came home to find it being weecapped! so it was an overall great 30 Rock day) and one of the running threads I love is how they keep referencing their relationships with real people:
Jack and Condeleezza Rice is great. (And his references to having dated Katie Couric, Elizabeth Hurley... in the 90s, Martha Stewart.) My favorite, though, is Liz and Conan O'Brien's little "history."
