I was finally going to give up my Bachelor habit after all these years. But now that we are back in primeTWOP space, I'll need to re-up for another season. TIme to clear the calendar for Mondays.

It's so pathetic how happy I got when I scrolled down the list of forums and saw The Bachelor re-instated as a freestanding forum.

Crazy! The show that brought me to TWoP........reinstated. Words fail me. Good to see so many familiar names. I haven't watched the last two seasons of TB, but I'm back in the mix now and ready for, well.............an amazing journey!

Philosophical debate: Mrs. Rhody despises this show and believes my interest in it is really skeevy (she is a faithful FoL viewer, BTW). I prefer TB because the laughs and eye-rolling come from the principals taking it so seriously. How do I win Mrs. R over?

rhody, has she actually watched a 1st or 2nd episode of any installment? That really should be all it takes to win someone over. I mean, if she's not hooked by a complete stranger serenading a guy she's trying to impress with the Star Spangled Banner, then I fear there's no hope for her.

I was just thinking about you ladies the other night when Cazzie Lite and I were watching the Reality TV Network marathon of "Paradise Island" ... she observed that "Crazy Bug-Eyed Toni" was our first-ever "household catchphrase" borne of reality TV and TWoP.

So now that I am preparing for the eventual empty nest syndrome, one of my plans is to become re-obsessed with some favorite reality TV so bring on "The Bachelor!" (I'm already all wrapped up in "A!N!T!M!" on Wednesdays and "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursdays).

I have not spoiled myself by looking at any of the *ahem* ladies in advance. I'll wait until Monday and take it all in then ...

I do miss "Joe Millionaire" though ... well, actually, I only miss his horse Hurricane.

I know! I am so freaking old (because it's all about me) ... she turned 17 on Tuesday and is a senior in high school now! Actually turned out pretty damned well, no thanks to moi of course.

So we will be going through the waiting-for-the-college-of-her-choice-to-accept-her drill for the next four months (notification date is January 31). Kill me now.

I plan to spend this weekend getting caught up on the old hot tub news ... anyone want to give me an encapsulated version? Kind of like the "coming next week" highlights?
