Yesterday, Larry Hagman was on Ed Begley's HGTV show. I started thinking about all the TV shows he's had, and then I remembered Orleans, which I hadn't thought about in several years. I know he played a judge on the show, and at the time it got some attention because they had an incest storyline. It ran for a few months. In the 90's, CBS tried to find replacements for their great 80's primetime soaps, but never succeeded (remember Second Chances, or Four Corners, or that Malibu Road show).

Wikipedia page and Larry Hagman's page.

Did any of you watch the show?

Aww, Larry Hagman. One of my all time fav actors.

Too bad this show didn't work out. Was it absolutely awful?

I don't remember it too clearly (except for a scene where Hagman's daughter smashes up her riverboat casino's equipment to avoid having to sail, as required by law for a riverboat casino... and a scene where Hagman speaks French and repeats himself in english... which seemed odd) but I remember enjoying it. IIRC, it was one of those shows that was killed by its time slot.
