What is this bullshittery? If we were cheated out of jury footage because they were all separate, I wouldn’t care, but... they’re all there? And we’ve been missing the footage? And seeing Dick and Daniele instead? There’s so much we don’t get to see! Actual time away from insanity! What footage they’ve gotten through the weeks! Jen in jammies!

Usually I would find a houseguest saying that voting out someone else is “vanquishing the evil” as pretentious and terrifying but... well, it’s accurate. God, Daniele winning and shrieking, and her fucked up Dad stomping around shouting angrily actually physically repulsed me. That Evel Dick music cue is like a Pavlovian conditioned stimulus to me now, so that I must look away any time it comes on.

Hey, a mention of the Alice in Wonderland stuff again. How nice of them to remember. Kind of an obtuse way to tie it in to the HOH, though. Anyway, here’s hoping Dick fails horribly, but given this season, he will almost certainly win.
worldwouldend
Seriously, why is the narrator so pro-Donato skewed? Zach "turns on" them and "makes side deals" but D&D "surprisingly sent the lovebirds packing" etc. Even Julie is in on it, saying Zach "shocked his former allies by putting them on the block." "How did Dick respond to Zach's betrayal?"

Daniele: I'm upset that Zach went back on his word.

You wanted to take JAMEKA to final 3, Daniele! You and Dick made a final four agreement with Eric and Jessica! You promised Jen you had her back until the end! You suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

Dick: At least I've been honest, Zach.

No you haven't!

This show gets my heartrate up so much, I swear.

Julie: Who would have guessed that the estranged father and daughter duo would have teamed up to make it to the final four?

Umm, everyone?

JEN!! In her pjs! Hahaha, even if all the segments they showed were soooo staged, it was good to see her. In fact, I'd bet good money Dustin is the only one actually living in that "jury house." He's the only one who got a bed, and certainly had the most speaking segments. Honestly, I don't understand why they didn't show them before now. They could have staged more scenes for previous episodes instead of so much recapping filler.

Okay, the POV. Why did Dick DR-narrate the entire competition right after Zach had just finished reading the rules? Do they think the viewing audience is that stupid? ...Okay, yes.

Also, it doesn't matter how tense the music is that you play to try to draw out the "suspense" about who won, when you show Daniele's DRs and her smug little bitchface and her smirky commentary. OMG, her screaming when she won made me want to kill something. Preferably a Donato, but more likely myself. And then Dick's smug insane POST-WIN tirade? Right. He really does believe that everyone else is a traitor and that he and Daniele never lie or backstab. That is actually what goes on in his mind.

Zach: I feel like my mind is like a samurai sword.

And that is why I love Zach.

Dude. Dude. Daniele robbed Dick of his chance to make an "on the block" speech! She can't wipe the smirk off her face either. It was a totally calculated ploy to make their story just that much more heartwarming, even though it's a pretty empty gesture, seeing how she would only ever stand being on the block when her daaaad was the ONLY vote. I have to admit I didn't see it coming, though.

This leg of the HOH competition is pretty cool. I predict Daniele wins. She has more space on the carrot on which to hop. And you know Dick is going to start in on Zach as soon as the live show is over. Although I'm surprised they didn't dress more warmly. Daniele is going to win and catch pneumonia.
momlyd
Well, if production has anything to say, one of the Donato's will win.

HOWEVER, Danielle was already starting to whine what with the water and Dick can only go so long without a cigarette, so GO ZACH!!!!
CoolKel
They didn't do anything about Dick having a secret code in his HOH letter? Way to uphold the integrity of the game, producers.

Go, bunny man, go!

P.S. Daniele? When I can see your roots in a ponytail, then maybe you should apply some more color in your hair, okay?
helloresolven
Can Dick not wrap his little tiny brain around the fact that Zach would be idiotic to willingly allow the unbreakable alliance into the F3? Seriously, what is he thinking?

And I want my brain to be a samurai sword.
fashionista79
Oh, please, Daniele taking her dad off the block wasn't anything selfless. Jameka would have gone home either way so why did Daniele make it seem like it was some great gesture from the heart? And the little snot that she is "jokes" that she won't speak to him for another two years if he doesn't use the veto on her. Ugh!
msrayrudd
If I didn't hate Dick before, I sure do after tonight. Geez, his asshatery dancing around after Danielle wins the veto. Stop gloating buddy. Basically your daughter bailed you out again. It's not like you won the thing yourself.

I'm not saying Zach has ever been my favorite person, but damn if I don't want him to win HOH just to shut up Dick. He might not have a chance at winning, but at least it breaks up the Donato final two.

I can deal with Danielle more than Dick in the final, if just for the fact that she at least has played the competitions well.

I also can't help it, but I like Jameka. I think she comes across as genuine. Obviously she knew she was going, but I thought she handled herself nicely.

"How did Dick respond to Zach's betrayal?"

The so-called betrayal makes even less sense when the only thing that mattered was who won veto. Zach had to put one of them on the block. There weren't any other options. Did they expect him to nominate himself?
idledandy
Dear CBS, I would like to return these hours I've spent watching The Donato Show Starring the Donatos as the Donatos and exchange them for an equal number of hours watching Jury House. Thank you. P.S. You had better fucking hope Zach wins, or else a lot of us (or at least me) won't be back.
Hellblazer
Oh, man, I got so hopeful when I saw Julie ask Dick a question about his dickery, thus putting paid to his bullshit notion that it's all strategy. "This is it..." I thought. "They're setting us up for the penalty vote."

And then they let Daniele veto him? What in the blue fuck?!?

I thought it had been abundantly clear that she could only use it on herself?

"This is the Season of the Donatos," indeed. And Alison Grodner can go fuck herself sideways.
kismet kiss
This just continued to endear me to Zach...especially when he pointed out to Dick that no one would vote for Dick because he is an asshole.

Oh, and I'd MUCH rather be in that Jury house - Jen is beyond adorable.
dvandersluis
Was there a final segment after the commercial break at the start of the HoH competition (after Julie said 'stay with us...')? It just went straight to credits here...
Mylittlelamb64
Eric, Zach may not 'have a brain' but who is still in the goddamned house?! What an asshole.

I really need to get my blood pressure checked, 'cause I am sure that it flew off the radar tonight....and to think that I once wanted Dick. What a hypocritical piece of shit, and I really hope that Daniele cuts him out of her miserable life (AGAIN!) once this damned show is over.

I don't have much more to say, this eppy so disgusted me.

(Does naked Indian dance for Zach)....hold on Big Poppa, just hold on!!
thuganomics85
I figured it would happen. Zach waited too late to pull his move, and Daniele has the ability to win these POVs, when they count. While I wasn't a fan of Jameka at all, I would have much preferred Daniele to take her bag, and go. Sigh... now it's Zach vs. the Donatos. I'm not putting too much stock on Zach, especially with the producers in the Donatos corner. Still, go Zach.

It was nice seeing the jury house finally. I really miss Jen. Amber, on the other hand, not so much. Huge eye-roll, at her "Jameka is the only 'good' person left" comment. I can't wait till this show ends, and all the hate comes pouring down, at Amber. She won't know what hit her.

First competition looks fun. And it lasted longer then the volcano last season.
Kitzi
Danielle's key looks to be much closer to her because her elbow is quite bent, while Zach's arm is almost completely outstretched. Is anyone surprised?
dlm1288
When I can see your roots in a ponytail, then maybe you should apply some more color in your hair, okay?

She doesn't have any.

-Delighted to see my beloved Jen again. Dustin was even kinda funny tonight too.

-I still hate the Donatos and want nothing more than something bad to happen to both of them.

-Go Zach. Go. You're only my hope for this season being saved.
Stardancer2001
Aaaarrrrgghh. The one time I expected Danielle to be selfish and save herself......

Hopefully Zach can save himself!
Kerri Johnson
I never knew a tv reality show could make me depressed but BB has finally done it. The Donatos make me so sick. Do they not understand that they only thing that matters is the final veto? Why all the anger and bitterness? Ugh. And Dick is still in the game after he admitted to cheating. What about the integrity of the game the Dontaos are so admant over?

I'm rooting for Zach now. He's the only one that can save this hideous season.
kinda sketchy
Excuse me but HAHAHAHA I love how Daniele acts like it's only raining on her. HAHAHA bitch will not do well in this one. And I loved seeing Dick's rocker dude hair get flattened. And I love that Zach is the only one with a hat with a visor on. And that he's the tallest and therefore the least strained in holding onto the key. I will hunt you down and beat you, Zach, if you don't win this first part.
StewartTeddy
Seriously Dick is mentally ill. Dude it's a game show, simmer down now! Zach handles him even better then Jen did. I on the other hand would be charged with Murder by now. So Danielle will get her money, yay for her (goes to get puke bucket).
momlyd
P.S. Daniele? When I can see your roots in a ponytail, then maybe you should apply some more color in your hair, okay?

I thought maybe she had a head injury.....

...but then she whined so I knew she was okay.
Nimberlane
The hypocrisy from both Dick and Danielle during this episode was almost enough to make my head explode. I seriously had to leave the room a few times to go do something else to get away from their deluded little minds. God, Zach better win this HoH.

Finally, Jury House footage, even if it did seem a little rushed. When America's Tool stuck his head in and asked, "Room for one more?", I wish Jen could've declared, "Nope!", and everyone would've proceeded to kick him out on his ass. Oh, how I can dream.
Arcticglare
I'm sure Zach can beat both Dick and Danielle in the final 2. I'm really confused when Dick said he couldn't even get a single vote against either of them in the F2.

Jen- Zach
Dustin- Zach
Jameka- Zach
Amber- Zach (will vote how Dustin/Jameka vote probably)
Jessica- Probably feels betrayed by D/D, so will vote for Zach
Eric- Dick or Danielle
Dick/Daniele-Dick/Daniele
shoe921
Is it just me, or is it kind of weird to jump up on your dad and wrap your legs around his waist? Ew.
Hey Zeus
Very gracious of Dani to allow her father the honor of evicting Jam. She is rewarded with a great big smile during her farewell message. Too little too late Zack gets a frown for his efforts.
The Evil One
Can I pray with Jameka that God decides to electrocute D&D during the final HoH?

I don't think I can bear any other outcome.
dirtgirl
seemed like Zach was having to reach a lot further to hold his key. I could be imagining or I could just be inclined to believe the producers will do anything to help D&D. probably both.

still... I love this comp. it makes me nervous just watching it. Is this being shown on the live feeds?
cocobeans
Of course my favorites moments tonight came from the Jury House, seeing Jen again was great. I loved the body language from everyone when Eric made that insulting crack about, "well if Zach has a brain which I doubt..." Even Jessica pulled away a bit more and looked down, good to see that folks there are no longer drinking the bitch koolaid. If Zach can make it to F2, after seeing how the evicted folks are acting, I think Zach could win over either Donato. Maybe that is why we didn't get to see them before now, CBS didn't want anything messing up the "heartwarming" storyline. Heh.

Go Zach, you have to win this first part dude.
argrow
Was there a final segment after the commercial break at the start of the HoH competition (after Julie said 'stay with us...')? It just went straight to credits here...

I assume you were watching it on Global? They ended it early so I switched to the CBS feed in which there was a last segment, which is basically that rain started falling down on the HGs.
lambie
I love how obvious Danielle's roots are, especially when it started raining. Very fitting that she's finally getting the bitch edit.

I agree, her key is way closer to her than Zach's is. This is my first season watching BB and probably my last. It's been completely predictable for the last 4 weeks and I feel like I'm wasting my time now.
StewartTeddy
Is it just me, or is it kind of weird to jump up on your dad and wrap your legs around his waist? Ew.

Nope, it's not just you. I found myself thinking get a room, which I know is gross, but they have reduced me to this.
bigmomma01
Is it just me, or is it kind of weird to jump up on your dad and wrap your legs around his waist? Ew.

Nope. Not just you. Those two have a creepy relationship!
Miss Alli
Those two have a creepy relationship!

I hate to say this, but I brought that up to somebody the other day. I find their dynamic unsettling. I'm not accusing anybody of anything, be very clear, but I find the way they relate to each other very uncomfortable to watch, and she definitely seems to bat her eyes at him at times in a way that doesn't strike me as indicative of a woman who's learned to relate to people in any way other than flirting.
princessu

Holy shit! Those two scare me to the jenth degree with their hugging, kissing. Ugh.

In other news, I love Jen!!! I missed her so much and it was nice to see her. In her pjs! How adorable!

STFU Eric!
JediMindTrip
Oh how heart warming. sniff sniff. Danhelle took daddy dearest off the block. sniff sniff.
How much did AG pay Danhelle to make that move.
Almost didn’t watch this, so happy I did, Jen footage. Weeeeeeeeeeee.
Did anyone else notice Eric sitting next to Jessica on the couch and just staring at her in a weird disturbing stalkerish way? It freaked me out a little bit.
Jameeka, I her she really is a nice person.
Um, go Zach, like AG is going to accept anything but a DD final two. They will probably squirt grease on his carrot.
eholder
Nope, it's not just you. I found myself thinking get a room, which I know is gross, but they have reduced me to this.

Shhh, only Eric is allowed to make and be villified for incestual D/D comments.
Ananayel
I desperately hope Zach can win the first part of the contest, just so I can enjoy the unbelievable whine- and curse-fest when the two Doucheatos have to compete against each other in the second part. I might have to watch on mute, but I want to see it nonetheless. And Zach seems to have absorbed some of Jen's ability to let Dickwad's abuse just roll off him. It makes Dick just as crazed as when Jen did it.
thebigchill
I couldn't even listen to the show tonight, ugh, I hate the Douches so much. Jen and her jammies and the rest of the jury house brought the headphones out of my ears, though. And her dry, "well, that was fun." Hilarious! Eric, a tool till the end. Beat it, punk. Go Zach's hat!
Hellblazer

I got that vibe when Dick asked Daniele if it made her uncomfortable to watch him flirt with Janelle. I'm not suggesting anything either *cough* "Something About Amelia" *cough*, but it's Cree Pee.
coconutcookie
I wonder if Jen got to see the part of Eric's DVD where he said he hoped she was dead by a shark attack.
katesus7
Honestly, I don't understand why they didn't show them before now.

Quite frankly, because it's boring TV. Don't get me wrong, I would MUCH rather watch a whole hour of Jen hang out in her PJs than anything the Donatos are doing, but what is usually fun for me in watching the jury house is watching a bunch of bitter people snipe at the bitter people who come in after them, who were on the 'other side'.

The first three jury members were all betrayed by the same people. Dustin and Jen seemed to be getting along fine before he left, and I don't see any drama between those two, and who wants to watch a Dustin/Amber love fest? There was no James giving Jen and Rachel the finger, hell no Jen and Rachel barely keeping themselves from tearing each other's hair out. Tonight's five minutes or so tonight was pretty much all I needed. I know that they might still make fun of Zach, but the vibe definitely seems to be they would rather the Donatos lose than him. So, yep, I'm satisfied. I don't think it's really a big deal.

It's so funny, even if I wasn't completely spoiled, I would've known who was leaving the second the camera panned to the HGs at the beginning of the show. Zach looked like, well, Zach, but wasn't an option anyway. Dick and Daniele looked like they were headed straight to a 1983 Jane Fonda exercise video, and Jameka looked gorgeous in a halter top, perfectly made up, with lots of jewelry. Hmmm.....which one of these is not like the other. Good job, there, CBS.
blackwing
I'm kind of disappointed to find out there was a jury house all along. I would have loved to have seen more of Jen, especially in her Jen-kini.

I didn't care for Jameka, but she had one of the classiest exits from the game that I recall. She was so appreciative of the opportunity and was not bitter at all. I also liked her reaction to seeing her new niece.

During the argument between Dick and Zach, Dick was getting in all these lines and Zach's responses were so so weak. He at least could have come up with something more witty. "I played this game better than you." I don't agree with some of the things Dick has done, but he and Daniele have controlled this game. Zach was the awkward nerd that nobody targeted and then he had a late surge. I don't think Zach has played all that great a game. If the jury didn't hate the Donatos so much, there's no way he would win the game on its merits.
Volourn
Bah. What a horribly edited show. Yeah, that's right folks. Zach betrayed the ones who were plotting to betray him. LMAO

I hate the Donatos, and the not the 'I love watching them kind of hate'.

Also, everyone in the jury house was cool; but Eric. The guy is a poor sport, and a weasel. And, a coward. Why isn't he betaing up Jen? Not so tough, huh when she's face tof ace.

Jen is absolutely awesome. That is all.

I want Zach to win; but sadly, I don't see him winning.

P.S. It's completely *a whole bunch of bad words* that Dick didn't get kicked out/penalty nom/penalty vote for his chetaing ways.

Yet, Jen is the Evil Bitch Queen Of All Cheats 'cause she ATE A BURGER.

R00fles!
lambie
I'm not suggesting anything either *cough* "Something About Amelia" *cough*,

Great ref! Kudos on dusting that one off.
momlyd
Zach said he threw the previous competitions toward the beginning of the show and DIck blew it off.

But what if he did?

What if D&D and their rise to the top was part ONE of the conspiracy and once they had turned the stomachs of the (sane) viewing public, part TWO kicks in which is a much more decent human being (by comparison) steps in and takes the final award?

CBS wins two ways:
they get the ratings fest with the first part, and
they get return viewers for the next season who will be more willing to give the show another shot.

Or I am just seeing conspiracy theories everywhere today being today.
Miss Alli
I didn't think Dick got in any lines other than ranting and raving. Why would anyone attempt to argue with him? He's a fucking nut. You don't stand there and try to one-up a violent, explosive person who has already demonstrated his willingness to lash out physically when you know there are no cops and there's no help available if he loses it. Zach is doing the exact right thing, in my opinion, which is to firmly repeat his position and otherwise stay the hell out of the mud.
The Evil One
Damn, I already purged the ep from my DVR. I know for sure, during the jury house segment, that the later weeks had captions that said "7 days later or one week later." Did it say that for Jen?

Part of me holds out hope that she entered the house at the last possible moment, or that there was some disclaimer at the end that I deleted that accounted for her holding out for a long time. Just 'cuz.
Michmak
From the angle of the shot of the three of them (Zack, Danielle and Lord Voldemort) it seemed to me that Zach's arm is more extended compared to the other two. Danielle's key is noticably closer to her, and her arm is in a more bent position. Zach's seemed a little more extended with not as much of a bend at the elbow, which would be more uncomfortable to maintain than Danielle's. It was harder to tell with Dick, but it did seem that he also had more of a bend and a closer key.

Maybe it's just 'bitter grapes' on my part, because I really hate the Donato's and I'm convinced they've been given advantage after advantage to keep them in the game, but it looked to me like Grodner et al. were at it again. If both Donato's make it to the final two, I will not be watching. I definately won't be back next year, unless the populate the cast with Dr. Will and many full-grown clones of him.
cocobeans
I find their dynamic unsettling. I'm not accusing anybody of anything, be very clear, but I find the way they relate to each other very uncomfortable to watch,

Not just when happy either, I find the way they fight is also *strange*, (heck even ED himself commented that it was "just like him and one of his ex-wives/girlfriends fights). Their attack, retreat, shift blame, attack again, deny, rinse and repeat style of fighting is unhealthy for anyone, and downright bizarre for a parent/child situation.

Ugh, they make my head hurt and my stomach turn.
Softwhere
I felt badly for Jen watching her in the Jury house with that gang of hypocrites. The body language during the final scene was interesting. Someome needs to get a cork and put it in Dustin's mouth.

Watching Eric hug Jessica was absolutely nauseating.

This has been a really disappointing season. Every time I watch the show now, I get so angry I want to throw something at the TV. The one thing I look forward to is when the media get a hold of this gang and starts asking the difficult questions. You think Britney bombed on MTV on Sunday night - just wait till Amber gets interviewed. At least Britney didn't cry on stage........

I would also love to see Jen slap a lawsuit on CBS/DD once the show is over. Even if she doesn't have a chance in hell of it going anywhere, it will be upfront negative publicity for the show which I'm sure CBS doesn't want.
citrimax
Okay...so BB spends forever each episode recapping with "Previously..." and this whole time we could have been seeing jury house footage instead? Oh, I'm so bitter! Of course, now it's like I don't even trust the jury house footage, I wouldn't be surprised if it was one big acting performance by everyone. But it was nice to see everyone! More jury, BB! Please!
