I admit that I find the reconciliation arc between Dick and Daniele endearing! I think families should stick together, regardless of personality flaws, because there is really no one else you can fully trust in this world and no one else who will truly accept you for who you are. I know they still have issues but to see Daniele come around to working with her father is great. And I'm glad they have made it so far in the game. They both have truly competitive hearts and that's what I like to see on these types of shows. Zach's nomination speech was bullshit. Dominating the game is not "unfair"....that's how games are played. Any player worth their salt seeks to dominate. To use today US Open as an example, you think Roger Federer isn't dominating men's tennis right now? Who would call that unfair? Silly, silly Zach.

Go Dick and Dani!

As an aside, Jameka has looked great all season long but she looked absolutely stunning on the show this evening. Getting her head out of Amber's butt was truly an improvement for her looks.
idledandy
I thought I couldn't hate Dick and Daniele any more than I already did.

Tonight's episode multiplied my hatred for them by a thousand.

Zach is absolutely right that their domination is unfair. Here's why:
  • Nobody else had a partner. Enemies my ass.
  • Nobody else (save maybe Eric) had the diary room campaign for them.
  • Nobody else was allowed to consistently break the rules by using threats and intimidation to persevere.

Also, the entire concept of nominations at F4 is meaningless. They shouldn't even have the HOH do them, because the veto is all that matters.
Miss Alli
Daniele is, I think, my least favorite person in the history of this show, including Mike Boogie. I have never seen such pissy, prissy, smug entitlement in my life. I wish her a horrible (non-medical) setback of some sort, because she really, desperately needs something to happen so she doesn't keep having everything handed to her, which has clearly been her entire history until now. What an awful, awful human being she is.
StewartTeddy
OMG! Watching this show is starting to affect my general health! I so loathe Father and Daughter bitchfaces! They are the most smug arceholes I have ever had the displeasure to watch on a TV program. I wish someone could get them out of the house but it's just not going to happen. They are going to win.
fashionista79
Man, I go back and forth on Zach. However, I loved that little moment between Daniele and him. She's trying to tell him that her father played the best game? In what world? Then D&D lie to him by telling him they would have brought him to the F3 when after Dick's HOH win they were cackling that Zach thought he was with them? The hell? Something told me, at the beginning of the show when Dick and Daniele were so smug [aside: Daniele has the nerve to call someone smug?], that, like Icarus, one of them would fly too close to the sun.

Oh, and man is Daniele Dick's daughter. Both of them during that nomination ceremony with the smirks and the scoffs just bugged me. I can't understand them acting as though they wouldn't have taken each other to the F2. Who do they think they're bullshitting? I think Zach struck at just the right time. Now, either he or Jameka has to win that POV. And Daniele needs to remember that while she may have won many things, it happened because she was actively playing all the time whereas Zach chose the FUTR strategy, and it has only been during this past week or so that has he really stepped up his game to make an impact in the game. In the past week he has won two HOHs and one POV. I don't doubt that he could win again.
eholder
The "unfair" part was dumb, but he made a lot of good points. Dick and Daniele mocking him DURING the speech? Completely classless. Besides, what do they care if they're nominated? Veto is all that matters. Plus weren't they saying like five minutes before that they wanted to take Jameka to the final 3? Can't stand either of them.

What was up with the 15 minute recap? They couldn't shorten that crap?
Mylittlelamb64
The more that I watched tonight, the angrier I got....

Jameka - What a fucking waste of space! As much as I didn't like them, Amber or Dustin should have been in her spot, because they would have goddamned fought for it!

Loved Zach's speech....I wish the evicted HG's would have been there to hear it.

The Douchatos in this show were so infuriating tonight....goddamn, but they are such smug bitches! I really hate that one of these assholes is going to win.
Spy Idol
Calling their domination of the game "unfair" was Zach's only misstep tonight. He should have instead said, "it's unfair that no one else in this house had a bond that was guaranteed not to be broken, or a deadbeat dad trying to make up for lost time by saving us at any given junction in the game." Either way, so glad he's finally after the Donatos. They showed ridiculous hypocrisy tonight; it was "all strategy" when they renegged on their Eric/Jess deal, but now that Zach is doing the same to them, it's unfair because...they had a deal? A worthless, F3 deal that means nothing to Zach? For "masters" of the game, they really didn't seem like much more to me than lousy sports. Whine a little more, Daniele.
kinda sketchy
All I have to say right now is thank goodness Daniele finally got the edit she deserves. What a vile, disgusting, whiney ass bitch. I "hate" her more than anyone who has ever played this game.

Daniele is, I think, my least favorite person in the history of this show, including Mike Boogie.
Great minds and all.

At this point I'm ready to start a Team Anyone But Daniele, and that's sad when I can hate her more than her disgusting piece of trash Daddy.
Kareny
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new star of BB8 - ZACH!

Really, seriously, that was a great edit for him tonight. Where did that 'Rocky' music come from? I kept cracking up every time they played it.

Having turned off the feeds after the Thursday live show, I was actually impressed that they were able to come up with that much drama and tension to sustain the hour. Of course, it required fifteen minutes of rehashing Jess and Eric's evictions. For whatever reason, I found his back-to-back 'I love you's a little more touching this time, maybe because I wasn't trying to keep myself from kicking the TV.

Is it time for the jury package yet? Tuesday? Pretty please?
NYGirl
I think it is unfair because they are family. Family will ALWAYS stick together, problems or no problems. The other "twist" duos were ex boyfriends or ex BFFs. There's a big difference. Dick played the game by bullying. The HGs could not trust BB to protect them against him. Last week I thought Zach should have backdoored Dani but then I thought that Dick would probably berate him 24/7. I love Dani's little DRs ..she thinks she's so cute and has no idea what a whining ass she comes off as.
BtvsVamp
These nominations meant NOTHING, and Dick and Daniele were whining like it was someone turning on them in the beginning of the game. Christ over react much?

No Daniele, Zach did not say he was going to smoke you at the veto. He said you'd probably beat him. This bitch hears what she wants to hear.

And fucking hypocrites. SHE wanted to turn on Zach before the HOH happened. She's such a whiny little bitch.
TorranceShipman
Idledandy, I came here to post the same thing. I've disliked plenty of reality show contestants, but I think Dick and Dani may be the first I truly detest. I actually felt the overwhelming desire to sucker-punch Dani in the face during and after Zach's speech.
Maxymama
Dick and Danielle are immature, spoiled, classless, hypocritical brats. And yes, they are going to win because the numbers and talent are on their side. Poor dumb Zack got the balls to make a power move about a day late and a dollar short. He didn't think through the consequences of his POV win nor did he think through the consequences of this nomination. This nom ceremony is practically pointless, it's all about who wins the POV. He really shouldn't have been so honest with Danielle in the HOH room; he just pissed her off without reason.
vanyag
Tonight, Daniele was like the popular girl in school who laughed in the face of the nerdy guy who helped her with her homework.
Arcticglare
Dani's "This sucks, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks" had me rolling. I still hate her.

Also, how does Dick think that both of them could beat Zach in F2?

Zach vs. Dick- He gets Dani and Eric's vote.
Zach vs. Dani- She gets Dick and Eric's vote.
Boungiorno
Daniele's self-entitled bratty behavior during the Nomination ceremony was nauseating. That girl so needs to be put in her place.

D/D get a more realistic edit when it doesn't matter anymore.
Kirblar
Loved Zach's speech....I wish the evicted HG's would have been there to hear it.

They will. The Jury sees competitions and the Nom/Veto/Eviction ceremonies, but not the voting confessionals.

Zach's reaching Chris Daughtery (S9) levels of BS with the "I <3 God too Jameka!" angle and I love it.
Nimberlane
Dick and Danielle seriously make me want to punch my TV screen. They are two of the most arrogant, smug, and fucking aggravating people I have ever seen on reality television. I love how entitled they both are, thinking that Zach will never win the game against them. They are so fucking delusional that I can't do anything but laugh hysterically. Danielle especially. I hope the game of Life comes around and hits her hard like it did to her withering, sack o' shit father.
Red Okay
Daniele is, I think, my least favorite person in the history of this show, including Mike Boogie. I have never seen such pissy, prissy, smug entitlement in my life.

Word, word, word. The way she did that ridiculous half-laugh at the idea that Zach could win made my heart rate go up.

I absolutely cannot fucking wait for this show to be over. I hate these people with an intensity that is literally physically unhealthy.
thuganomics85
Daniele is, I think, my least favorite person in the history of this show, including Mike Boogie.

Is she worse then Dick too? Because as much as I hate to say it, I might loathe her, more then her father.

These Donatos are too much. They've betrayed Jen, Eric, Jessica, and were even talking about getting rid of Zach. But since Zach "dares" to try and take them out, and actually try to win this thing, they suddenly act like he's a horrible human being. Hey, he hasn't burned anyone with cigerattes, or poured tear on people's head, Dick! Or cheated on her boyfriend, Daniele! So, shut the fuck up, you poor excuse for a family.

"Unfair" comment aside, I was loving Zach tonight. I'm worried that it might be too late, but glad he finally put them up. And seeing him shrug off both the Donato's guilt trip/rants was awesome. Thank you for not buying their bullshit anymore.

Jameka...meh. She was barely there tonight. But I'm glad she seems to realise that working with Zach is a good idea, even if they aren't the best of friends.
Miss Alli
I think what it is for me is that if there's anything I detest more than a bully, it's someone who willingly -- no, gleefully -- manipulates someone else into being a bully on her behalf and then whines and cries about being blamed for the bully's behavior. As multiple people with whom I watch this show have noted this evening, he's the bigger jerk, in some ways, but she is by far the bigger hypocrite. I seriously think that Dick is mostly all personality disorders, but she's very calculating. At 21, she's learned to use someone else's violent, abusive behavior to her own advantage, and she takes zero responsibility for it. It's sort of jaw-droppingly awful.

The good news is that I used to believe there was no ending that could provide me with any remote taste of satisfaction whatsoever, but I now realize that there is. If she gets to the end and loses to her dad, that will piss her off, and she will cry about it, and she will be subjected for the rest of her life to her father lording it over her passive-aggressively. And if she gets to the end and beats her dad, she will be subjected for the rest of her life to passive-aggressive lectures about how he got her to the end and did all the work and she owes him. So in a tiny, sick way, I win either way.
Kareny
So because I still think this year's game is all about America's Player for whatever obsessive reason (bear with me here):

I really, really would lay down money right now that Daniele's smug entitled prissiness tonight very well might have cost her the game. The edit she got tonight was terrible. Of course she has no way of knowing it now, but if Eric is required to campaign for whoever America chooses, she almost guaranteed with her behavior in this episode that she won't have the AP vote on her side next week.

I think it's guaranteed that whoever she goes up against right now, the Philadelphia lawyer will be campaigning for someone else. I just hope that someone else isn't Dick.
StewartTeddy
Danielle especially. I hope the game of Life comes around and hits her hard like it did to her withering, sack o' shit father.

Yes please! I can't believe in the beginning of this shitty show I actually felt sorry for her being stuck with such a arcehole Father. She is his evil twin mirror image. Just just looks prettier (for now).
Procrastination
That episode was the biggest waste of time. Now, I have the feeds -- not that I watch them anymore, but I know what is going to happen already -- and it's been this way all season. But the episodes could have stuff I didn't see or maybe found entertaining or whatever. However: no, the episodes truly get worse and worse every time. Boring. Fake suspense. No purpose. Lots of repeat conversations. Lots of Dick gloating in the DR. Zzzzz.

The editing tried to create this false suspense, as if it mattered who Zach nominates. Whoever wins POV decides who is evicted. The nominations are completely irrelevant. The Douchnatos are also idiots for even caring.

Daniele and Dick have the nerve to call Zach smug? What was how they acted at the nomination ceremony? I'll spare you the suspense of what happens after the nomination ceremony: Dick and Daniele continue to cry and go off and be poor sports because Zach betrayed them. I hate them both.

Anyone who flipped on the episode in the middle and didn't realize what stage the game was in would've thought this episode was preparing for the POV anyway. They kept talking about it non-stop. Despite the DR obviously asking how the HGs felt about nominations, everyone knew the POV was the next step in the game, not the nominations. They really should've delayed the fast-forward one week and had it this Thursday instead. This shit is boring as hell.

To quote Whinele: "This sucks, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks, this sucks." Thanks for voting like assholes, "America."

Loved Zach's speech

Unfortunately, he made it one day too late. All the things he said during this nomination ceremony, he should have said as he used the veto and voted out Daniele on Thursday.
Maxymama
she's learned to use someone else's violent, abusive behavior to her own advantage
Danielle is like Carmella Soprano! Except not fictional. Scary.
idledandy
Yeah, I wanted to punch Daniele even more than I wanted to punch Dick tonight. Which is saying something.
Melina Detroit
It's dizzying to see Dick and Daniele switch from being exuberant, happy, glowing with the joy of being alive and victorious, to, seconds later, cranky, whining, pouty, with Dani hunched in a self-pitying ball, and Dick tongue-lashing anyone within reach who isn't Dani. All that's required for the switch to take place is for someone, anyone, to cross them, disagree with them, or in any way interfere with their right to win absolutely everything. Or even imply they may at some point want to interfere with their right to win everything.

At the nomination ceremony, the two of them were smirking so hard, I thought their faces would fall off.

What's scary to me is that in my life, I know several people like this. The one contribution BB has made to my life is that from now on, when confronted with one of them, I'll tell myself, "Be Jen. Be Zach. Either laugh at them, or ignore them." The day I actually do this will make all these wasted hours worthwhile.
Kirblar
Dani is definitely far worse than Dick. Zach had a line about her on the feeds that summed her up perfectly.

She's the girl who asks you for help in Math class, but will never talk to you otherwise

Spoiler only because it might air on Tuesday's show.
HoneyChille
Danielle is like Carmella Soprano!

She is! *sniff* I miss the Sopranos!*sniff*
VAHokies
Daniele came off TERRIBLY in this episode. Of course, now that Eric is gone, what does it matter? BB used us (and Eric), and now the Donatos can finally be shown how they really are.
eholder
They've betrayed Jen, Eric, Jessica, and were even talking about getting rid of Zach.

Add to that list Kail and Nick. Just for the sake of completion.

Oh Jameka, you're in the final 4 and get about 5 minutes screen time. WhatEVER could that mean? Haha.

Since it seems like anytime anyone prays for something on this show that the opposite happens then - "Dear Jesus, please let Zach lose BB8. Thx!"
Kirblar
Unfortunately, he made it one day too late. All the things he said during this nomination ceremony, he should have said as he used the veto and voted out Daniele on Thursday.

Getting Dani out would've been pointless. His only chance at winning the game is against a Donato, and keeping Eric and Jessica could've trapped him in the F3 with them. Now Zach will either have a 1 in 3 chance of winning the Final HoH against D/D and winning the game, or a 2 in 3 chance of either winning or having the remaining one of Dick/Dani vote out Jameka at the F3.

Say what you want about him personally, but he hasn't messed up any of his game decisions since winning his first HoH.
thuganomics85
Yeah, I wanted to punch Daniele even more than I wanted to punch Dick tonight. Which is saying something.

Heh, at least Zach got to punch one of them. I notice that after Dick won HOH in the recap, Zach kept punching him in the shoulder, when he hugged Daniele. He ment it in a "good job" kind of way, but I was hoping Zach would accidentley hit him too hard, and cause Dick to flip out. Then again, Zach could have been replacingDick's shoulder with his face, in Zach's mind, when he was doing that.

I have noticed that all season. Daniele has won a lot of competitions and jumps around and squeals for joy. But it is such a contrast to see her pouty, mopey "it's not fair" side. She truly acts like it's the end of the world then says she "hates" someone.
Kitzi
Zach's speech was meaningless to me. He had his chance to ensure a Donato exit last week and he blew it. Too late, Zach, too late.

Until Dick came along, I didn't think I could hate anyone as much as Mike Booger, but you know, they aren't even worth hating. So I've shifted the hate over to their fans now.
Kerri Johnson
The Donatos are such horrible, vile creatures. I cannot believe the hypocrisy that they ooze out of every single pore. I don’t understand why they can play the game but no one else can. When they don’t get their way, they turn into little children and whine, cry and issue death threats.

This would have never happened had BB tried so hard to save Dick when he was up against Dustin and I squarely place the blame on BB. They and America support a misogynistic, homophobic violent man and his whiny, pathetic, entitled skeletor of a daughter.

They’re the epitome of poor sports and they’re filled with whiny bitterness. Their laughing during the nomination ceremony was disgusting and cruel. Good for Zach for having the restraint to not tell them both to shut the fuck up and quit being bitter douchebags. Does Daniele not understand that life isn’t perfect? You can’t have things your way all the time, she needs to learn this lesson quick and fast. She can’t be a spoiled, entitled princess for the rest of her life and Dick needs to have several restraining orders placed on him when the show is over.

Karma should have hit Daniele in the face when she pulled that line of Zach thinking he’s going to win. Why not? What’s stopping him? He could easily win the last HOH. I honestly hope the Donatos get what’s coming to them, that something bad and horrible is going to happen and I’m not above wishing that. Crap is crap after all. This has been the worst season of Big Brother ever, I don’t think I’ve ever been so disturbed by a final 2 than I am at the evitable final 2 of Dick and Daniele.
localnutcase101
I thought I couldn't hate Dick and Daniele any more than I already did.

Tonight's episode multiplied my hatred for them by a thousand.

WORD

Other than the unfair statement, I agree with most of what Zach said tonight. I mean yeah, we saw the D&D pre-HoH and knew they were knocking out Zach if possible, but still, Zach has to be thinking that they would knock knock him out. While Jameka may be tough in the final 2, you have to get their 1st, and before HoH, Zach wasn't even guaranteed F3, and definitely not in F2 even if he hadn't put them both up. So why not put them both up, he's got nothing to lose.

I laughed my head off when Danielle said that Dick would be tough in the final 2....LOL. Some may see his strategic side, but thats deep within his attitudes, and threats, among other things...that it really doesn't seem like strategy, it just blends all together. And Zach may of not had much strategy, and he's probably not the smartest player in the game, but he's right, as far as I know, about ppl not really talking to him for periods of time and such, and most of what Dani was saying was crap, and she knew Zach...while not being right onm wasn't too far off.

GRRRR I know there's more I wanna add, but lost it, gonna have to try and watch the episode to fill in anymore....dang tha means actually going to CBS' BB site...even more GRRRR
The Evil One
I can't believe Daniele called someone else smug!

Dear Zach, I love you for making just about the only smart move that I have seen in this game. A little too late, but welcome nonetheless.
Munchiewoman
This is actually the first episode I semi-enjoyed in a while. Seeing smug little bitch Daniele's face just DROP when Zach didn't immediately reassure her that he wouldn't put her up made me cackle with glee. And then he totally didn't fall under her spell and agree with everything she said? Her WTF face was awesome!

I completely agree with Zach that it was unfair. Yes, everyone who let these people just march along in an unbreakable alliance was stupid, but putting two people who are family together and allowing Dick to run rampant through the house was highly unfair. And even if it's probably too late, at least someone is finally making a stand. Good for Zach.

Daniele, I think your picture is in the dictionary next to hypocrisy. ZACH is smug? and how dare he put you up after you were just friggin' giggling about betraying him minutes earlier? And you two had his back all along?? No, you only had people you were more worried about booting. I can't stand you or your stupid gross hip tats. Please go away.

But Daniele is the best competitor in the house. It only would've helped him if a Donato won HOH and kept him. But since he is HOH, now he is stuck competing against Daniele for POV and, if the Donatos stay, the final HOH. Eric was not good at the competitions. And Eric and Jameka may have chosen to take Zach to the final two believing they could beat him. Dick and Daniele will not take Zach to the final two under any circumstances, ever.
katesus7
Zach's nominations actually DID matter, because before, Daniele and Dick thought that Zach would blindly follow them, and if he won POV, he'd make sure Jameka would stay on the block. They thought it was the three of them vs. Jameka. They even had a smug, gloaty conversation about it. But now they know that, no, it's not 3 against 1, it's 2 against 2, and one of those 2 won three competitions in the past week. That's a huge deal. Which is why they behaved like the pissy entitled bitches that they are.

I LOVED Zach's conversation with Daniele. I had heard about it, but hadn't seen it. She waltzed into that room just sure that she had him wrapped around her little finger, and all she would have to do is giggle, and he'd do whatever she said. I can't even blame her, because that's what happened his first HOH. But I loved him politely, yet firmly, disagreeing with her at each and every turn, and every time he did, she just got more flabbergasted and pissed off that she couldn't think straight. She was absolutely dumbfounded that Zach was not on his knees thanking her for singlehandedly carrying through this game.

The best part was when she said people have wanted him out since the beginning, except that...and he said, yeah except that there were bigger targets, and she was like, NO, because there were people looking out for him, meaning, of course, her and Dick. She must've blanked on the fact that one of those weeks Zach could've gone home was when they decided to get rid of Nick instead. Yeah, I must've missed the part where she valiantly fought for Zach to stay. She's so delusional.

Dick was typical Dick. He thought he was going to be the badass, and strong-arm Zach to do what he wanted, and yet at the first hint of Zach disagreeing with him, Dick goes postal, and can't even try to continue to negotiate. They were both absolutely pathetic.
Vertebrat

I agree with this 8000% and I can't even find it in me to feel bad about that. I look at Dick and I know I should consider where Daniele came from and who her role model was and have some sympathy for that. (I haven't heard a mother mentioned, I'm assuming there is one, though if turned out Daniele was born of a jackal, I wouldn't be completely surprised). But she's too awful for me to care about why, I just loathe her.

However, the fact that a Donato F2 is highly likely (unless Jameka continues her awesome POV winning streak...oh wait...) makes me happy because both of them are such selfish shitbags that the money will only bring them misery. Whichever one of them wins it, the other one is going to be secretly pissed and feel *they* were the one who really deserved it and it is going be oh so ugly and that delights me.
Sundazed
I'm so glad that Zach wasn't fooled by Danielle's pretend-flirting and bikini-wearing last week. I think that the thought of her "womanly charms" actually working on him infuriated many of us last week when he put up Jameka and Jessica for nomination. I'm glad Zach finally found the balls to tell them that he didn't agree with their tactics, although it is too little, too late.

That being said, Jameka annoys me to no end, but in a different way -- that she's entirely useless and doesn't even try.
Kirblar

Here's the massive issue with that. Say Zach gets Dani voted out. He's left with Eric/Jameka/Dick/Zach as the F4. Zach is now facing a huge problem. If either Jameka or Eric win the PoV, they will vote out Zach or Dick. Why is that an issue? Because it either eliminates Zach, or it eliminates Zach's only beatable F2 opponent.
Red Okay
I laughed my head off when Danielle said that Dick would be tough in the final 2....LOL. Some may see his strategic side, but thats deep within his attitudes, and threats, among other things...that it really doesn't seem like strategy, it just blends all together.

I don't even know what strategy she's referring to, to be honest. Dick flailed around violently making as many enemies as he could because...? If he takes credit for how many times he's stayed despite being nominated, that had much more to do with Eric's ability to play the game than his. Which is why the AP twist and clips from Eric's DR's should be broadcast before the vote. And also why they won't be. The second most important factor in Dick's staying is another thing that has nothing to do with anything he accomplished: his daughter's presence in the house.

Anytime I ever get irritated with a Survivor contestant or another BB contestant or any other show, I'm going to flash back to these two pieces of shit and be like "Oh. Not so bad afterall."
kdelarosa22
Whoo eeee! Dani is a real piece of work. With Dick, you know he is going to fling shit at you but with her you never see it coming. I still don't understand why they think everyone is there to make sure they get into the final 2. I hope karma bites Dani in the ass. Maybe she will catch Nick with a dude. Yeah, that is what I want to happen.
kinda sketchy
Oh and I've watched this entire season with a guy who started out Team Donato all the way. As the weeks progressed he's gotten quieter and quieter with his love and by the end of tonights episode (which I ranted and raved and yelled at the tv throughout-hee) he said "my god what a bitch. Go Zach! I'd love it if Zach wins now" ... this after Skeletor's "what game is HE playing" bitchface comment.

I only wish Zach's most awesomest comment ever had made the show "I'd be dominating too if my dad was here with me" - ohhhh burnnnnn.
marie caroline
I didn't watch the show, and now I find that half of it is missing anyway on my tape, thanks to CBS and its lack of foresight, but how nice to hear that Daniele finally got a fair edit! Someone has to do a YouTube clip of Dani whining - along with her words "it sucks" played over and over again.
