Figured Becca (Madeleine Martin) deserved a topic folder of her own.

She's super bright for a twelve-yr-old. And has to take care of her parents just about as much as they take care of her.

But I gotta ask... do the bangs make anyone else think of "GalaxyQuest" or is it just me?

I'm not sure I like the Wednesday Addams thing she has going on, but I have to say it's refreshing to see a preteen on TV who isn't already a blond with highlights and a fake tan.

I agree with dr malcolm. When I first saw her, I thought of Christina Ricci in the "The Addams Family" movie.

One of the very things I like about her is the fact that her vocabulary makes you forget that she's twelve. She's well-spoken and doesn't seem likely to try to dumb herself down. The incident with the boy in the hall is a separate matter in my mind and probably the product of watching her insane parents simultaneously try to remind and forget that they love one another. But I think that if that particular snag were taken care of, she could go on to be not only very well-adjusted, but help other kids like herself not to forsake their personalities in a vain attempt at 'normality'.

Hee hee! Absolutely. Also, the dry delivery and semi-affectless persona is quite reminiscent as well. I like her.
The Man
I love how becca seems to be quite mature for her age despite the immaturity of her parents. To me, she is the one vioce of rationality on the entire show.

The flip side of that is that in her 20s she's going to regress in all sorts of interesting ways (most likely) as so many do when they are mature beyond their years as children. But for her delivery of the "no hair on her vagina" line, she will forever be one of my favorite characters in all of TVdom.

*cough* HOUSE! *cough*

Hank Moody and Greg House in a room together. I REALLY want someone to write a drabble for me where they meet. I have a drabble-a-thon going at my Livejournal, hoping that will happen, but it hasn't yet. They're quite alike, those two, really. Hank might actually be less bitter, though. Or maybe he's bitter in a different way.
