Hi folks --
If you've been posting (or lurking) in this area a while, you're probably aware that things tend to digress a little, particularly in the "TV Moments that..." scared you/angered you/made you sad/whatever. As has been demonstrated repeatedly, referring to current events that happen to get covered on TV takes the conversation away from the TV-ness and into "Here's another thing that bugs me about Lindsey Lohan." So for your sanity and mine, we're gonna try to clarify what's on-topic this way:
"TV moments" means things that actually happened on a TV show. Not things covered on a TV show. If Lindsey Lohan makes an appearance on a talk show and says something infuriating (or heartbreaking, etc.) you can talk about that. If Lindsey Lohan gets mentioned on the news, that doesn't make discussing every detail of her case on-topic in the threads here.
I know the line has been hazy at times, and I'm sure we'll discover some grey in that definition too, but I'm hoping it at least helps keep the conversation focused on TV programs. Thanks a bunch.
