Veto competition, probably.

What the hell is going on? Jen is slowly creeping up as someone who doesn't annoy me as much as she's annoyed me the past two weeks. I actually liked that she was so damn upfront about her Veto competition strategy. It made Amber talk and cry. It made the house turn upside down. It showed a bit of strategic thinking. It made Dick go off again only to have Jen not take him seriously. Fuck. I blame Dick for this slow turn-around I'm having with regards to Jen and her self-centered behavior. Speaking of self-centered, I should have known that she'd jump up and down with glee at having to wear a unitard. Typical.
And Jameka actually spoke? I liked that she clued--who was it? Zach?--Zach into the fact that the word he was looking for to describe Amber was not "emotional," but rather "empathetic." I don't know if I'd agree with that, but still. Jameka said something, and we got a little clue that there's some tension there between her and Zach. It's all good because I can't stand looking at Zach's face. He looks like an ugly cartoon character. I did like that Mike considered Jen's "proposal."

WOOHOO! Go Daniele!
I loved the fights before the veto competition... Jameka is alive! Too bad she was kind of a bitch.
LOVE the sarcasm of Evel Dick. "It's a personality" LOL. I loved him clapping and thanking Jen for losing the competition.
Jen's reaction to the red suit was priceless.
She needs to get over Nick already. Ugh.
VOTE FOR JOE! VOTE FOR JOE!
You know, I still hate Jen but this has been one entertaining week of TV and live feeds.

It’s the same way every summer, but I have trouble buying the ~Love Affair~ story angle. Most summers it’s weird, but especially this one because… it’s Day 14. They have known each other for two weeks.
Jen is still stupidly awesome. So self-absorbed and oblivious that absolutely nothing sticks when people insult her. At one point there were about three different people yelling at her and she just sort of stood there and breathed from her mouth. Keep on keeping on, you spectacular dumb ass. Every word you speak is gold.
Is Amber related to David Koresh? She seems to be crazy to an outsider, but enigmatic enough to the people in the house that they all listen to everything she has to say and seem to believe her when she weeps. Do her tears contain pheromones? Does her hair contain a string quartet which plays lullabies in order to pacify and distract the others? I don’t understand why they fall at her feet and go nuts that Jen made her cry. If you got ired up anytime something made Amber cry, you’d be pretty damn busy.
Hooray for that Veto. Daniele safe, Joe nominated, the chaining, and Jen prancing around in a unitard for a week. Hah! “It’s Thing Two!” It was also good editing having Jen basically walk down, see Nick lounging with Daniele, and turn to nominating him.

Yeah, Jen was upfront, but she was blatantly threatening and it is way too early in the game to be so aggressive. I think she is only going to make herself a target by wielding her authority in such a way. We'll see, but I don't think that her actions were that smart at all.

Finally, the person I voted finally won the America’s Player question. The sleepwalking thing was hilarious.
Fight, fight, fight! Go, Jameka. She looked like she was working really hard not to go off on Zach.
No episode is complete without Amber pulling the ugliest cry face ever and blubbering like an idiot about the realities of the game she applied to be on. Did she think BB was a summer camp and the other contestants were supposed to hand her the money at the end? Dumbass.
Nick seems like a nice guy but he really needs to back away from the showmance. It’s been two weeks and he’s about to cry about his feelings for Daniele. Dude, she has a boyfriend that she lives with. This crap is just painful to watch.
I just can’t like whiny Daniele. Maybe it’s the flippant way that she said that if it was her versus her father, then oh, well, he has to go at the beginning of the episode. I will give her props for her second veto win, but I will be thrilled when she’s finally evicted.
The AP Question: I want Eric to vote to evict Dick. Other than the father/daughter storyline that I’m already tired of, Dick adds nothing to the show. Meanwhile, Joe is a total shitstirrer, instigated all those fights before the veto competition, and gives good, bitchy diary room commentary. I want him to stay for my own entertainment.

Me too. I thought it was a very smart move to try to ensure that her nominations stayed the same. Too bad it didn't work out.

Vote for Joe! We get to kick Joe out of the house!
I think that if Jen were any dumber the other houseguest would have to water her twice a week but she does make for good tv. It will be kind of sad when she probably gets evicted in the third round.

It made Amber talk and cry
Honestly what doesnt? She must be dehyrdrated by now. Jen is really creeping me out with her obsession over someone she has known for mere weeks. Nick better watch out! Also loved poor Eric having to crawl into Joe's bed. Thank you America indeed!

Jen: I'm not an emotional person.
Me: The hell? Did you forgot that you cried twice over how you looked in pictures?!
I will say though that this episode was so wonderfully entertaining. Especially the part where Dick followed Jen all over the place and wouldn't let her talk. I love Dick.
That's the most entertaining blow up argument I have ever seen. I still hope Jen gets nominated and booted next week but I have to admit she has really livened up the house.
I do hope that everyone gangs up on her next week though. Then we'll really see emotional. heh.

First - Eric is getting hosed as America's player. With all these stupid restrictions he's never even going to get the first $10k and is going to end up shooting himself in the foot. It's not like they're lacking money - they get a damn dollar for every text message.
Second - why was everyone so pissed at Jen for threatening Amber not to throw the comp? That's a DAMN smart strategy and I'm surprised no one's tried that before. Too bad she didn't follow through on her threat.
Third - Poor Mike finally speaks and Joe yells at him. Joe! He'll never speak again now!

Eric couldn’t even complete the sleepwalking task. That’s weak.
I hate Jen, but I love how nothing can faze her (other than her own picture). That girl has even blinked.
And Amber getting a blubbering mess over just being selected for the veto competition in week two is hilarious. That girl is going to be a mess is she ever has to nominate someone.

Thank the Maker Dustin hosted--he can read off a card! Hurrah! Seriously, he had fun with it and was far better than the bumblers so far.
Jen has a great career ahead of her as a White House spokesperson--she says whatever thing she wants to say about herself without thought or censor and in the face of everyone's disagreement.

Best season ever!! (Well, so far)
I didn't truly appreciate the entertainment value of Jen before tonight. I can't believe that I actually want her to stick around just so I can see the other houseguests attack her. It just seems to roll off. These people are funny!

Jen's narcissism is verging on the sociopathic but WHY do I not hate her?!
Big deal, hamsters, Jen threatened Amber with evicting Joe if she took anyone off the block. It's a frigging game. Also EVERYTHING makes Amber cry so the houseguests can hardly blame Jen.
Even though I really like the Dani/Dick scenario, I'm already tiring of Dani's bony shuffle.

Golly, Amber is one overly emotional person but should Jen be the person calling her out on that given her freakout over pictures twice now.

I know I wouldn't. Zach was right. Amber is emotional, not empathetic. Amber's bag of bullshit is all about how AMBER feels, not about how other people feel. Bad choice of words for your first ones, Jameka. Maybe remove the "em-" at the beginning.
Daniele is really starting to give off a "my **** don't smell" vibe. "That's not the way I'm playing." Screw you!
I'm really digging Jen's thick shell. Good on her for not getting into the "the 'good' people should win" crap.

Other great episode. Joe irritate me at first but he was growing on me. BUT DICK MUST STAY. I already cast my alotted 10 votes. I really didn't think anyone could be as annoying as iJen but blubering Amber is a very close second. I really don't care who wins I just want Dick and iJen to stay around so I can watch him put her down week after week after week. 'cause she's never gonna get it. Her self involvement is fasinating to watch. I think I've also figured out the secret twist - she's engaged to Mike Boogie. I'm sure he encourage to get into a showmance to get air time and hell he won't even get jealous because his on TRUE love is Dr. Will.

I agree that Amber is definitely a freakin' basketcase and Jen's threat wasn't nearly enough of a reason to fall apart like that. My point was that, especially with Joe, she didn't even know what she was threatening. She was basically saying, don't cross me or I'll do something...possibly bad. Joe had the right attitude about it. If Joe had used it, it wouldn't hurt him. It just makes her look like a bully, not a smart strategist.

Please get Jen the fuck out next week. I can't take seeing her hog anymore screentime. Her reaction to Daniele's veto speech was so bitchy. And no Jen, YOU'RE the one who we've yet to see a glimpse of niceness from. Notice how the entire house doesn't hate Daniele? Even Jen's allies don't like her.

I thought it was unfair of BB to say that Eric didn't complete his AP task. Had Joe been sleeping alone, it would have been much easier for Eric to hop into bed. As it was, Eric was forced to lay on top of Joe's leg, which couldn't have been all that comfortable for either of them. I don't blame Eric for calling it quits after a relatively short period of time. And the way he played it off the next morning by saying he didn't remember anything was perfect.
When Amber was crying last week, it was much easier to swallow considering she was nominated and potentially going home. This week, crying over Daniele and Dick and having to compete in the veto competiton, was extremely annoying. I understand you're emotional (or empathetic, according to Jameka), but c'mon. And while I respected Jen's strategy to strong-arm Amber (and Joe) into not winning the veto, she lacked any finesse while doing it. It could have been a smart move had it not made people hate her even more than they already did.
Daniele is really starting to give off a "my **** don't smell" vibe. "That's not the way I'm playing." Screw you!
Dick was speaking loud enough for Jen to hear what he was saying to Daniele. And while Dick may not care what Jen hears, Daniele does. I think she's fine with the way he's going to play the game (in Jen's face) but doesn't want his strategy to hurt her strategy. I can't fault her for that.

So glad Daniele is off the block. Buh bye Joe, I hope.
So in order to complete the task, Eric had to actually wake up with Joe? Wasn't the original wording "crawl into bed with" or something like that? Either way, Eric might want to get tested for gonorrhea given what we know about Joe.

Jen said she's not an emotional person? Well, she's a narcissist so whatever happens to others is not an emotional issue for her. If it involves her she's plenty emotional. So far I've only seen emotion out of her twice...both times involving pictures of her favorite person. Herself!
She is SO nominated next week! She better win that veto or her unitard is outta there!

If the whole house hates you, why not get the most out of your week of power by making threats, since you'll be nominated next week anyway? Oh my god, Amber is a freaking nutjob. "I love both of them so much!" The hell? You don't even know them, you stupid wench. Jen is a complete See You Next Tuesday (as Charlotte would say) and I hate her, a lot. and hope she gets strangled in her sleep by her unitard sleeves. But Amber is just as selfish and self-absorbed as Jen, she's just a lot less straightforward about it. She's not even on the block this week and yet she managed to manipulate the entire situation to be about how hard it was for her, and have everyone comforting her and fighting her battles. It's not about you, bitch. Damn.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want Jen to stay for a while longer. She and Amber are both entertaining in their own ways, but I think Amber's will start getting old before too much longer. Jen's obliviousness is the gift that will keep on giving.
If I were in that house, I'd be begging for BB to give them markers and t-shirts so they could make their own Jen Shirt knock-offs. Mine would read "Jender Bender".

For the first time, I decided I liked Joe. He totally called Jen on her threatening him (and therefore Amber) and he basically started that entire fight. It was great!
I've also decided that I hate Zach. He's one of those guys that just thinks they're so much smarter than the rest of the world - his comment about "not giving her my master plan, I need to feed her crumbs" was so ridiculous. You're an obvious meathead dude, don't try to be Dr. Will.

It's official. I now officially love Jen. The way she was wandering around in that unitard dissing people (the convo with Eric and the way she brushed off his attempts to get Jess nominated was hysterical) and being oblivious... well I haven't laughed that hard in ages. She is comedy gold. She must stay for a long, long time.
Amber...geez shut up. Jen let you off the hook you dumb cow. If you didn't want to have to choose between Danielle or Dick because you love them oh so much.. well this was your reason not to have to pick between the two of them if you won the veto. What is it about Amber that makes these idiots want to comfort her all the time? Surely they'll get sick of her constant neediness at some point. Dustin must be a saint to let her hang all over him the way she does. Run Dustin.. run like the wind. And was it me or did Kail not look all that thrilled with being stuck with Amber for 24 hours. But they are both mothers after all. lol

If only Dustin could replace Chenbot! THAT would be cool! Who does Joe sleep with, and why would 'America' choose someone who doesn't sleep alone? Surely the 'gay twist' that everyone was hoping the choice would invoke couldn't have happened with a threesome.
Loved Jen tonight! I say again, no one can be THAT clueless and still have managed to feed and clothe herself for 23 years (and reportedly others?), but she's good TV. (Is the unitard an audition for a WonderWoman-related movie? Wonder GIRL wears a similar outfit and has Jen's hair. Hmmm.)
Yay, Jameka! Way to stick up for Amber! Too bad you don't know the meaning of empathy, but you got a reaction from Zach, of all people! Who knew either of you were still in the game? Oh, that's right. Zach has a 'master plan'. Uh, sure.
Mike is hot! Can he pick someone outside of the house for the date? I'll free up my schedule! (Too bad we don't get to vote on that, instead of the Stupid Eric Tricks.)
Daniele has a pretty face! She's actually attractive when she's under the covers and I'm not distracted by her skeleton! Are we sure she's related to Dick? Twist, CBS? Nick, OTOH, should NOT hide his body under the covers, leaving only his face showing, because it has the opposite effect as his 'girlfriend'. Go with your strengths, Dude!
I hate EvilDick even more than I hate Joe, so he's the one I want Eric to vote for. Sad that it comes down to that. Can I get Amber to shed tears for me? I'm not that invested, and she doesn't seem to need an actual reason.

I actually thought Jen's little threat to Amber and Joe was pretty good strategically. The problem is that if it had been anyone but Amber, nothing would have been said about it. I don't think Jen did anything other past HOH's hadn't done regarding POV. Perhaps not quite as blatantly, but let's face it, POV is very rarely used to save someone other than if the person on the block won it, so obviously some subtle forms of threat have been used by past HOH's. But since the blow out happened, I am not sure Jen did herself any favours.
First - Eric is getting hosed as America's player. With all these stupid restrictions he's never even going to get the first $10k and is going to end up shooting himself in the foot. It's not like they're lacking money - they get a damn dollar for every text message.
I agree. He did what was asked of him as far as America knew. It was only later we found out there were restrictions, such as Jessica "does" have to get nominated, or the sleepwalking has to be discovered by the person we chose. I don't recall being told that when asked to vote, does anyone else? I picked Dick because I knew he slept in a big bed on his own and it would be easier for Eric to accomplish. But did the casual voter know Joe slept in a bed with Jessica making the task more difficult? Come on CBS, give the guy a chance.

It was very strange to find myself siding with Jen in tonight's episode. I think what did it for me was how up in arms everybody got that she made Amber cry. Seriously? Everything makes Amber cry. Being nominated makes her cry. Having to participate in the Veto comp makes her cry. I'd venture that being called to the Diary Room and needing to change a light bulb make her cry.
Oh, and I forgot to mention my favorite scenes: Amber & Kail in the DR. Amber's rambling on about how it's nice to be shackled to Kail, how they get along, and everything's just super....meanwhile, Kail's face conveys exactly one thought: please disengage me from this crazy, leaky person.

I, too, am torn over my reaction to Jen. On the one hand she's a smug, narcissistic bitch who's completely oblivious to her effect on the rest of the house - and I hate her for it. On the other hand, she's TV gold precisely because she's a smug narcissistic bitch oblivious to her effect on other people in the house - and she makes me giggle and chortle and even guffaw on a regular basis.
She doesn't seem to dwell on any obstacle that's thrown her way. She's so completely captivated by her new scarlet cat suit (and the way she knows she'll OWN it) that she doesn't give a rat's ass the person she most wanted out of the house was able to save herself. She also doesn't seem to give a rat's ass if anybody likes her. I've never seen anybody on BB let insults and taunts slide off their backs with such ease and nonchalance, and even glee.
In real life I wouldn't want to spend more time with her than it takes to slam a martini in a dive bar I was dragged to in the wrong part of town, and I'd be pissed (sort of) if she won. But I don't want her off my TV (or Real Player) just quite yet.

I don't like Jen even the tiniest of bits, but I don't think anyone could have possibly looked better in the unitard than she does. I really wish she looked horrible in it, though, because when she finally gets to watch the tapes, she is going to be so proud of Unitard Week, and that sort of pisses me off. Apparently they all already knew what the presents contained ahead of time, because she said she was hoping to "win" that before she had even completely opened it, but I don't think I understand the point of telling them first.
Now...Amber. Imagine wearing socks and heavy shoes on a hike that takes several hours. When you finally get to a place to sit down and pull the shoes and socks off, your feet are red, sweaty and irritated. Now imagine looking at the underside of one of your feet. If your big toe had a face on the bottom of it at that particular moment, it would look like Amber's face when she's crying. She has a Big Toe Face.
Nick tries really hard on a pretty constant basis to drag admissions of love out of Danielle, and so far I don't think I've seen her give him anything in return. If she's just trying to remain faithful to her boyfriend, then I think that's awesome, and if she pulls it off completely without fooling around with Nick at all, then it may be a first in the BB house - someone staying faithful to someone on the outside they aren't actually married to. I can't tell if that's why she's holding back so much, or if she's just really not that into him. Her big "secret" about being 20 is not that exciting to me. I don't see what the big deal is there.
I wish there had been more Jameka - is she hanging out with Jessica these days? I wouldn't have pictured that. Strangely, I didn't hate Dick tonight, and I did sort of hate Zach, who had previously been a non-entity to me. His eyebrows alone are good enough reason to vote him out. I don't think he adds much to the house, personality-wise.

Good to know that was Jessica in the bed with Joe, I thought she had become invisible. I can't remember seeing her except when she's in the Diary Room.
If I had to pick between crazy Jen or crazy Amber, Jen's got my vote. I can't take Amber's sobbing about how hard it is to do the veto game....blah, blah, blah and all these super tough tests god is giving her. Amber, is just your everyday idiot, but Jen is some sort of special idiot...this girl is really one of a kind and so interesting to watch. I would really miss her if she got the boot next week.

Joe to Jen: "You made Amber cry."
Me to Joe: "Um, Joe? Amber cries if the wind blows the wrong way."
Seriously, that was hi-larious watching Amber's continual cryfest. She actually did the rubbing-the-knuckle-in-the-eye move that everyone else in the world uses to parody crying!

I think you're giving her too much credit. I think there's not that much thought going into this; she's just trying to stick it to whomever she considers is most against her at the moment. I have no mixed feelings. I think she's ghastly. She makes Ivette look like a charmer.
And... is Amber STABLE enough to be on this show? Or is she...mentally impaired? I honestly thought it was a joke when she was shown in the diary room after they'd picked the people to play the veto comp. and there she was, blubbing again. What the fuck is wrong with her? It had NOTHING. TO. DO. WITH. HER. This was NOT all. about. her. It was a random draw.

What the hell is going on? Jen is slowly creeping up as someone who doesn't annoy me as much as she's annoyed me the past two weeks. I actually liked that she was so damn upfront about her Veto competition strategy. It made Amber talk and cry.
Seriously, this show is upside down and backward. I loved, loved, LOVED Jen tonight. I loved that she "threatened" Amber. I loved that she even tried to apologize for her cry when she didn't have to! I loved that her mouth hung open in disbelief at how rude Dick is! I loved that she strutted around and customized that unitard (which she was totally working, by the way)! I loved that she gave Skeletor a little smack about her really dumb and rambling Veto speech! Loved that she was rocking Janelle's Fingerless Competition Gloves of Awesome. She lost, but she at least
looked like she came to play,
Daniele. She's suddenly kinda awesome.
Shut UP, Amber. Like someone else said, "empathetic" is the wrong word for her. She's just as self-involved as Jen, but it manifests itself as being sensitive and "mommy-bonding." Poor Kail chained to that mess all day. Well, they kind of deserve one another.
And shut up, Daniele. I'm sure taking yourself off the block was pure torture. I hate that her weak ass was allowed to double-hand push the thing during the Veto comp. Like it's not her own fault she came on this show all emaciated and too fucking weak to compete. I hate that she kept repeating that it was her second Veto win. I really hate that she wore flip-flops to the competition. Way to be ready to compete, stupid. I hope Mike takes her on the date so she can eat something. Her legs and hip bones make me feel kind of sick. They need to find a way to get her off that slop.

Jen prancing around in a unitard for a week. Hah! “It’s Thing Two!”
OK, I just got it! That's pretty funny, not to say accurate.
If your big toe had a face on the bottom of it at that particular moment, it would look like Amber's face when she's crying. She has a Big Toe Face.[
Oh, thanks a lot. My badly stifled hysterical giggles just woke everybody up.
It suddenly hit me halfway through the show who Jen reminds me of. Madonna. She has the same complete obliviousness to other people's opinion of her, zero approval-seeking behaviour. You can curse her to her face and she'll just laugh. At the same time, she'll do anything to get attention. Whether the attention consists of "I love her! She's gorgeous!" or "I hate her! What a monster!" is immaterial. All attention is good. I guess I'm saying Jen'll make a great rock star. Wonder if she can sing?
How can I stop watching this show if it keeps on being so darn entertaining? Remember when we were all, "Oh no! Another cast of vapid models!" Who would have guessed they would make such great watching? I thought tonight was endlessly entertaining, between Madonna/Jen, Big Toe Amber, lovesick Nick, Eric trying to sleep on Joe's leg, and absolutely no Jessica whatsoever. What more could I ask for?
