This is looking like it might be one of the best original shows ever aired on Logo. I'm just hoping and praying they have actual funny bits beyond the stuff they've used in the promos.

"You'd do Matthew Perry -- at his fattest!" Hee! That's funny stuff. And it's pretty darn cute. I wish I got Logo, but I guess it'll be on iTunes, which is nice.

I got to see two episodes at the SF LGBT Film Fest, it is pretty damn hilarious. There's a joke in the second ep that will out you as a total nerd if you can laugh before it's explained.
Naturally, I was one of five people in the theatre laughing. My partner tells me he was shaking his head in shame.

I finally watched the first ep last night. Pretty awesome. Very funny, offensive in a lovely way, great to look at. And I loved the random musical number -- I hope there are more of those.

Wow, it's so rare for me to love a pilot this much, but this shit was hilarious. I think Dana is my favorite. "Roll AIDS"-hee! And maybe it's my love for Peter Paige coming through, but I have a total Lego crush on Steve.

Saw the second episode last night, and it's still pretty damn funny. I loved that the monster truck was not only going to crush the hybrids, but that the hybrids still had their little-old-lady drivers in them, fleeing for their lives. And I loved the box of items with "sh" endings they were showing the baby, trying to get her or him to say something other than "Bush."

Loved it all--the 07734, the Bush/Ebony confusion, the her/him, and especially the head on wheels at the lesbian conference.

The third episode had some good bits ("West Lahunga Beach" vs. "Regular Lahunga Beach," the announcement during the bus ride, "You're the only downer I need," the abortion clinic ad), and it was nice to see some recurring bits (Ebony, Ivory, and the baby, and the lesbian head on wheels), but there was too much going on. They need to resist the temptation to have a separate plot for each of the three couples, because the show's just not long enough.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that 'spit' is the best catch-phrase currently on TV. I just love the way Peter Paige says it.

I totally agree that "spit" is hilarious.
The Bye Bye Baby commercial was the funniest thing I've seen in a while. And I love that the "Bush" baby made another appearance.
This show makes me laugh more than anything else on TV at the moment. Except maybe "Flight of the Conchords."

That was the best episode so far. Pussy's playroom (complete with Catwoman photo on the wall), the Alien homage, the way Condie's eyes turned to X's when she was passed out (and back to dots when she sat up and back to X's when she went back to being passed out), Michigan Mop Job, and so many other things just made me laugh and laugh. And while the lesbians all falling in love with a stun gun as a sex toy was a little bit extraneous, I really appreciated the fact that they didn't feel the need to give a whole plot to Rick and Steve -- their plot just tied in to the main plots affecting the other characters.
And how much do I love Pussy?

I started out watching this because of my massive Peter Paige and Wilson Cruz love, but now I'm hooked. Am I right in assuming this is the first season? I do wonder how long this show will last in the long-term because they seem to have painted themselves into a bit of a corner plotwise. By that, I just mean that how far they can go with the plot seems a bit limited given the 3 couple dynamic they have set up and being that it's a 1/2 hour cartoon comedy.

I don't know; The Simpsons is about a 5-person family, and South Park is about 4 kids, but they don't seem too limited. There are already a couple of characters that have appeared in multiple episodes (Ebony, Ivory, the Bush baby, and the lesbian head on wheels). I think there are lots of possibilities here.
(And this is the first season).

That was great. I especially loved the DJs setting up their portable turntables to mix some tunes while everyone was freaking out on deck. And then the same DJs turning into drummers when everything went all Lord of the Flies.
(However, showing my age, I had no idea that nitrous oxide was a 'thing.')

I took that as another Titanic reference, ie the orchestra that played on as the ship went down. Still awesome though.
Also I have to find a way to work "Hel-lo, hel-lo, hell... no", into my everyday vernacular.

So I finally got to see the cruise episode. Pretty funny stuff. Aside from the fact that I had to google "corybungus" and then wished I hadn't (not because of that definition but everything I found before I found that definition), it was very enjoyable.
My favorite lines were still "Your ass isn't pregnant!". Oh, and Dana telling Peter Paige's character she hates the name Peter. And the Pontius Pilates.
By the by, I had no idea Alan Cumming was Chuck's voice. I can totally hear it, except I have to imagine him talking out of the side of his mouth for every scene.
ETA:
I forgot about the awesome line towards the end: "Everybody who wants to build a miracle getaway boat for Hunter, stay where you are. Everybody who wants to build a giant condom balloon, step forward.". Classic.

This just finished up in the UK: Awesome! Seriously, I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
One thing that was really cool is it wasn't as whiny as I'd expected. Like when it had Steve's Evangelical Parents on, or the Log Cabin Republicans. It was justly mocking of them but in a more laidback way then I'd expected. Does that make sense?
Anyway, I'm so buying the DVD!

I'm surprised to see nobody has picked up on this, but it appears there's a Season 2...and it's already begun airing on Canada's Teletoon channel. I saw a new episode this past Tuesday night that wasn't part of the original 6. Teletoon was included in the closing credits as one of the corporations that supplied some funding for the new shows, so I guess they managed to get first crack at displaying them...
As for the new episode, the 4 main characters (i.e. Rick, Steve and the dykes) are taking the baby home from the hospital when their car runs out of gas. Steve and Dana go in search of a gas station, and the plot devolves into a Wizard of Oz parody, where they meet familiar faces from the show standing in for the various Oz characters.

Already saw a preview of it on AfterElton with a semen-themed musical number. It looked good.

I think it's interesting that they're continuing with the "Dixie doesn't like one of her mommies and one of her mommies doesn't like her" theme. You'd think it would be the kind of thing that would be resolved by the end of an episode.
