I still can't tell Zach apart from Mike or Nick. They're just sort of the Interchangeable Buff Boys at this point. Hopefully, they'll start to demonstrate some personality soon so I'll know which is which.

He also looks disturbingly like a long-ago ex. Imagine that look with Joe's psychosis and you, too, can shudder in disgust.

I finally figured out what seemed 'off' to me about Zach. He looks like an older guy who has gotten many, many face lifts, so that his eyebrows no longer go back down to their normal position. Anyone who watches Days of of Lives? Think Roman. It's creepy enough with that guy, who must be in his 50's, but even creepier with Zach, who, according to BB tradition, has to be younger than 40.

Damn it, I really wanted to have him as my eye candy. I just can't get past the eyebrows.

I watch that, and that's an insult to Roman.

I think that poster meant Mike who's on the current cast, and who is admittedly forgettable enough that it's not surprising that the first BB Mike you think of was on the show a year ago.

Admittedly, the shared resource pool isn't all that deep. :)

In tonight's episode Zach looked like the love child of Carmine Gotti and wrestler Kurt Angle.

I liked Zach, thought he was pretty intelligent and conniving. But I was not impressed when he said Carol could have been his lap dog. What a douche thing to say, and it shows him as just another man in a long line of men on this show who have absolutely no respect for women.

I hated how he acts so arrogant and that his alliance of four rules the house. The comment about "now that's what I'm waiting to hear" in reference to Carol wanting to stay in the game made it seem like he was going to get his team to throw their support to her. Wonder what happened there.

Yeah, that really turned me off, too. What's wrong with ally? I hadn't seen much about him that impressed me one way or the other, but that was enough to put him in the "ugh" category.

What bugs me about Zach is that he thinks he is so intelligent and strategic. He thinks his moves are so brilliant and he sits back and admires his own brilliance.

So I just watched my first episode of BB 8 (last Thursday's) and I immediately realized that I knew Zach. I kinda dated his roommate, who was obsessed with me. Zach was cool, though.

He was right about Amber, despite what Jameka thinks. Amber is far beyond empathetic. She's emotional teetering on cuckoo. I do think calling someone emotional can be a putdown, but I think in this case it was a correct label.

Agreed. Zach seems like a guy who has reached beyond himself. He has often mentioned working in comic book stores and going to ComiCons which makes me think that he is probably slightly on the dweeby side. This is the first time he has been in a position to be viewed as an alpha male but doesn't know exactly how to play that role. He told Mike at one point they were going to get so much ass once the show was over. He always says things like "I guarantee you that _____" when in fact his bloated ego has caused him to read the room entirely wrong. I just can't wait until he finally gets it that everybody in the house (save Jen, Kail, and Mike) can't stand him.

He doesn't have much of a body, either, which makes sense now that I've learned he's a comic book geek.

I don't like Zach's silly "master plan" language, but he wins major points for being the only one to point out Amber's ridiculousness....and not even in very strident terms, which made it extra absurd how Joe and Jameka jumped all over him about it. These people need to get a grip-- if someone cries at the drop of the hat, then you did not necessarily "make them cry" by what you said, and Jen IS direct, while Amber IS "emotional" (more like a basketcase).

Of all of the people in the house, I would bet that Zach has the highest IQ. Of course, that's not saying much, is it?

I look at him and can't help but think: "Jemaine from Flight of the Conchords".

I'm always torn between wanting Zach to be the next out and wanting him to win HOH so people will have to deal with someone they treat so contemptuously.

I choose the former because I hate when someone who all the houseguests hate end up winning HOH and then of course all the houseguests kiss that person's ass. It's so annoying!

Hopefully they're coming to hate Dick this week and will work with Zach to get him out if Zach were to become HoH.
