Miss Alli
Hey there! Ask me about Honey Bunches Of Oats!
Dale
She sure has a lot of black shows and actresses listed under her favorites.
Atiyah
Is that a good or bad thing?
fashionista79
Jameka's from Maryland, so I guess I'll not find her so horrible (that spot is reserved for Monsieur Gonorrhea).
Fern
I am rooting for her because I think it would suck donkey balls to be the only minority in the house. What the hell is up with casting this year?
Sophist
She is way too sane to be on this show. Poor Jameka.
Dbrain2004

Seriously. If I was her, I would scream my head off at this fact.

What the hell is wrong with the casting directors? There are potential reality show members of all colors!
Firthient
Jameka is beautiful. She reminds me of Sharon Leal from "Boston Public".

I have a feeling that she's going to be doing that alot in her pillow at night.
Dale

Like, for reals. She's one of the only few in this bunch I think has a clear head.
paganstar
She's one of the only few in this bunch I think has a clear head.

And if she plays it smart, I think it could take her far.

My hope: Her and Dustin-Final 2
Dale
Fern

I blame Erika. She does casting for all three of CBS's reality shows. That's why we're stuck with Jameka as the sole minority.
Dolphincorn
My hope: Her and Dustin-Final 2

You and I are peas in a pod, paganstar.
lindseyquinn
I love how when Amber heard she would be in the BB house, she got all huggy and weepy with her daughter ... and when Jameka found out, she flipped the eff out, pushed the kid away and started screaming in glee and running madly around the park.
Trompe L'Oeil
There is something about Carol - the Kansas student with the enemy - that leads me to think Jameka isn't the only woman of color in the house.
Smilesport
I thought Carol was biracial or mixed race as well....Jameka seems ok so far but could be really annoying over the long run. I"ll guess we'll have to wait and see. I really don't remember much from Jameka during the first episode I guess that's a good thing for her since she's not considered a threat yet.
ghettoghostman
Jameka earned my unwaivering love this season when she was waiting outside the BB house and when Julie said that people would share beds, she had a total "Who the fuck is you talkin' to?!?" face on.

Love Her! She kinda reminds me of Saaphyri mixed with Black Widow Danielle from AllStars, but with some class.
crzypunk2004
It sucks there is not more Jameka love here, she is a riot on the feeds, her thread at sucks has 15 pages already more than the others,

I hope she makes F4

Jameka <3
Rube Goldberg
I think it's just because she hasn't had much TV time yet, crzypunk2004. I haven't seen/read any of the live feeds, but she seems like my type of gal and I'm hoping she gets fleshed out more on the TV broadcasts.
FlippinChipmunk
I love her & her always changing hair. I hope she makes it far. Like a F2 with Dustin.
ferretrick
I thought her cometns about the slop were pretty funny.
FlippinChipmunk
I'm watching the first episode again, & I love how when she gets her key she starts screaming & freaking out. The little girl next to her looks scared to death & then like, "The hell?" I love that little girl.
ChillinTheMost
I think she's my favorite so far. And don't worry about the short thread, crzypunk2004, I think the drama queens, freaks, and insane usually have the long threads. Jameka may be too normal.
Krispy24
I'm also on the Jameka (and Dustin) love train. The fact that she said the butter competition was gross and didn't fall for the producers "let's make this sexy!" ploy really made me happy. The girl's got a good head on her shoulders.
Barrett0033
I'll jump on the Jameka love train as well. She cracks me up and I also think she is the most gorgeous hamster yet.
MisterKennedy
Let me say she has a phat ass. I'm a man, YES I AM.

I don't expect her to get much TV time this season.
Dale
Aw. I really thought her hiding place was a good one.

But she came in third in the PoV competition, so that's good.
Josef
When she stopped during the Veto competition to clean up her clothes, and called the rest of them "bitches," I knew she was the one for me.
hockeypuck2
So far, I really like Jameka. She seems to have a good sense of humor.
Eagle1997
She is growing on me, she's very upfront and honest and has a good personality and she's going to play this game differently than the others. How about a Final Two of Jameka and Eric.
corvus13
For some reason, I find it insanely funny that she brought hair extensions with her.
Eagle1997

You catch on After Dark last night, she spent hours playing with her hair extensions and putting netting on her hair nad all that.
mzladymac
Are you referring to when she was rolling her hair up in the clips? If so, that was her hair.
ghettoghostman
I love the fact that she created the Weave Power of Veto. Hiding a veto in her weave.....Meka, you crack me up with such ghettofabulousness.

Jameka's awesomeness knows no bounds. She can be a big ol' bitch and I think I will still love her!

Jameka, Dick and Jen for the finals!
MarchingOcelot
While all the others prattled on, I liked that Jameka seemed to have no idea who to vote out… because it’s the first week. Her lines in the diary room were said with no conviction whatsoever, because it’s like… “Yeah, Carol could be a strong competitor, my assessment being based thus far on how much butter she could carry in her hair.” She has no opinion and so is just like "meh".
FlippinChipmunk
She looked really disappointed to lose the HOH comp. I felt sad for her, because she rocks & I wanted to see what she would do.
Orion7
I think it would have been a mistake for her to be HoH this early in the game. She doesn't seem to have anyone actively gunning for her yet, so I don't believe she should make herself a target by becoming HoH and having to make nominations. It would be interesting to see what she would do, but I think it could hurt her.
ghettoghostman

Exactly. I think her strategy early on is to just survive in the house early on and stay on everyone's good side. That will at least grant her some time up until it is time for sequester. At that point, Jameka needs to get it together and win.
Dale
Good palate to recognize that bacon/banana mix. She could totally ace a Hell's Kitchen tasting challenge.

A Julia versus Jameka palate test would be awesome.
lindseyquinn
Hell, yea, Waffle House!
Gina Waters
I just finished watching a few clips of Eric, Jessica, Daniele, and Jameka playing a celebrity look-alike game based on their pictures. I'm still laughing out loud. They all decided Jameka looked liked Eddie Murphy, Nell Carter, Beyonce, Rudy (from The Cosby's), and every black person that Jessica's ever met. Too funny.

I just read what I wrote, and the above sounds kind of bad. You'd have to see it.
iliketv87
Jameka, Dick and Jen for the finals!

Bwah! Jen for finals would be beyond awesome. Jameka, however, while really nice, is just really boring. I wonder when her true self is going to come through, I guess when there are less people left and she has to be extremely competitive. Right now she has a good strategy, very under the radar.
pastel04
Last week Jam was the second most popular HG on the CBS poll, and this week she's in the lead with 22.6%. I couldn't be happier.
Dale
I'm happy to hear that, too.

What the hell was Zach's problem with her, though? She did nothing wrong.
greyhorse
Jameka was the one that instigated the tiff with Zach. She specifically turned around to say that Amber was empathetic. I have to agree with Zach about Jameka not saying much in the house. She seems like the most invisible person in there.
where is truth
She could totally ace a Hell's Kitchen tasting challenge.

I am having crazygood fantasies about a BB/HK crossover now that you said that. Jameka and Julia ruling the roost while Ramsay called the meatheads YOU F***ING DONKEYS! YOU STUPID DONUTS!

And Ramsay and Jen??? I'm in heaven.
Extra Monkey
What the hell was Zach's problem with her, though? She did nothing wrong.

Zach was only reacting to her coming in screeching about Amber. I think it was one of those conversations based on a misunderstanding involving too many people.
Trompe L'Oeil
Considering Jameka's background as a counselor, I expect her assessment of Amber is based on some actually training and professional knowledge. Zach's accusation was one step above the "she must be on the rag" crap that men throw out to put down women.
PoppyFresh

Well actually, the problem between the two was instigated by Zach, because prior to the tiff Zach did something that was really offensive to Jameka. On the feeds, I saw Jameka telling Amber, Dick, Eric and Joe that Zach had touched her knee and then immediately wiped his hand off on his pants like she was this disgusting thing that shouldn't even be touched. She understandably took offense to that and took it as a racially discriminatory action. Jameka had every right to be upset with him and her feelings revealed themselves during the arguement in the kitchen.
