Watching GSN's new offering. It's a lot of fun as an online game, but watching three other people let every puzzle drop down to just one extra letter before buzzing in. (And, in round 3, getting far too many points for it - 200 out of the original 300 for getting "CLEAN YOUR ROOM" out of "C LE AN YO U R RO O M" ?!)

Roger Lodge should be better at this than he's letting on here. He's too set in explaining the puzzles rather than engaging in some game-show-host banter with the players.

They were hoping for Lingo II, but it may end up being That's the Question II - albeit with better spelling.

I don't know L!, I don't think it's awful... I only saw the first one, mind you, but it did seem to move pretty fast and 2 out of the 3 players knew what they were doing (although 1 didn't catch until it was almost too late, and #3 was absolutely dreadful).

I do agree that Lodge was not at the top of his game here - too may "gosh darn it!"s and over-explaining of puzzles. At least he's not chained to the prompter like Pretty Boy Lane is, but he just didn't seem like he was in his element.

It's got potential, but I think it needs a kink or two, um, kinked out.

Hey there, Camouflage contestant here!! I didn't win a thing, no lovely parting gift...I taped early, don't know when my show will air. I had a chance to meet both creators. One was a former winner on Jeopardy and then became a writer for the show. They spent a lot of time putting this together, I hope it does well even though I wound up a loser...

Congrats on making it as a contestant, mojitos please! I only watched one game so far and it failed to really catch my fancy. Let us know if you find out when your episode is airing though.

So not only was I a big loser on the show, but I didn't even get a post card telling me when it would air. I happened to be home this week and turned on GSN and there I was, on my way to losing. I only caught the last half of the show. I looked ridiculous trying to make out the words, scrunching up my face as I tried to sound out a possible answer. The production value is pretty good. In person, the set is very cool and Rodger Lodge was fun to talk to and joke around with. On my show, the winner's name was "Greg" (I think-sheesh, its only been a few weeks...) and he went on to win $5,000. He was fun, a recent UCLA grad on his way to game show super stardom, seriously, this is his plan. I had on a green and white shirt.

I saw the show yesterday and was humbled by how poorly I did compared to the winning contestant. It's a fun show, and I will definitely watch it later.

The one element that really bothers me is the host. Roger Lodge seems to use every single host cliche there is. At one point he asked the contestant what he would do with his prize money, the contestant said he would go on a trip to Philadelphia. Roger responded with something like, "Nothing beats traveling to the City of Brotherly Love." [groan] And he keeps on referring to the contestants as my friend; he must have graduated from the Troy McClure School of Delivering Lines.

When this first aired, I thought it was an impossible game show and was quite ridicoulous to even try to get the contestant to answer at a reasonable point area. Yet as it progressed I started loving it and I even started playing along with it on gsn.com. Boo! They took it off air! What's up with that?

This show isn't bad. Once you get the hang of how the game works, it's actually quite fun to play along. Some of their clues are pretty stupid, though, especially the ones that end with a question mark.

I loved Roger Lodge on Blind Date, but find him annoying as a host on this show. I think it's the way that he always has to explain the meaning of the clue whenever the word is revealed, when it's usually pretty obvious.

I caught it today. Yeah, we're not 2 year olds. The clues aren't that esoteric. But it does have a good play at home feel to it, which makes it good in my book.

I don't know why Roger Lodge annoyed the crap out of me the one time I saw the show, but I spent half an hour wanting to punch the guy.
Run Forest Run
Does anyone remember Jim Perry and his stint on "Definition" from the 1970's (in Canada)? He had much the same mannerisms and felt the need to explain every single puzzle. As a 10-year old I found it annoying. Now my 10 year old says the same thing about Roger Lodge. I do like the premise of the game, though, but geez I'd like them to find a new host.
