Zoned Out
I was having this random conversation with Rhylee and Kerry Blue and we wished for a place where we could throw out random things we think up that have something to do with CSI:NY. So, I decided to start a thread where we could let our creative writing voices roam free and we can make up random things that are fun and/or funny having to do with CSI:NY.

I'll start off the thread with some haikus I came up with:

Mac is a Marine
He hates politics very much
But wins if he plays

Stella has big hair
She can kick butt while in heels
A modern woman

Danny and Lindsay
Had sex on the pool table
Oh, big happy day!

Flack embodies snark
And fills out a suit quite well
But doesn’t do much else

Hawkes is a sweety
And he’s good with a bone saw
He needs more screen time!

Sid is an ME
But he’s known for his stories
Which make people cringe

Peyton’s an ME
But she’s really only here
To be Mac’s girlfriend

Adam is a tech
He likes to run many tests
That’s why he’s a tech

You don't have to write haikus, they could be knock knock jokes or limmericks or whatever. Just no fanfiction or links to fanfiction because there is already a thread for that. :)

Great poems, Zoned! I'm especially fond of the one for Hawkes!

Zoned Out told me about a game they're playing over in the Criminal Minds thread. It's inspired by the show Friends and involves coming up with one-line descriptors for the episodes. They can be serious or humorous, but should start with "The one where..." Here are a few I came up with:

3-12 "Silent Night" - The one where Sasha Cohen tries to act.
3-15 "Some Buried Bones" - The one where Nelly Furtado tries to act.
2-21 "All Access" - The one where Kid Rock doesn't try to act.

3-23 "Comes Around" - The one where John McEnroe proves he's better at playing a nerd than at playing himself.

3-9 "And Here's to You, Mrs. Azrael" - The one where Hawkes tries to have a serious conversation while Danny is busy stripping.
vitamarie
These are kind of obvious, but:

3-24: "Snow Day" - The one where Danny and Lindsey get it on and Mac blows up the lab and an Irish gangster.
3-18: "Sleight of Hand" - The one where Cris Angel plays himself, just slightly more disturbed.
3-22: "Cold Reveal" - The one where the guy from Cold Case "Crosses Jurisdictions" and accuses Stella of murder.
3-21: "Past Imperfect" - The one where Joey Lawrence plays a serial killer and dances off the side of a building.
Rhylee
2-15- "Fare Game" The one where Danny and Lindsay eat bugs.
2-17- "Necrophilia Americana" The one where Mac and Danny tease Lindsay about eating bugs
3-19- "A Daze of Wine and Roaches" The one where Danny and Lindsay work with a Roach...... but don't eat it.
3-02- "Not What It Looks Like" -The one where Danny plays with a dog.
3-13- "Obsession"- The one where Danny plays with a dog, take 2
xtreme
Tanglewood: The One Where Danny talks about his past and Stella gets an Excuse to Slap some thug.
Zoned Out
Recyling (1x12) - "The One Where Mac Reveals That He Never Wears a Tie to a Dog Show"

And another haiku:

Aiden's not here now
She opened some evidence
And then she got burned
Kerry Blue
3-13 "Obsession" - The one where Hawkes and Danny bond over mozzarella.
3-18 "Sleight Out of Hand" - The one where Hawkes and Flack bicker over Houdini.

ETA:
2-21 "All Access" - The one where Danny chased Lindsay through the police station.
3-18 "Sleight Out of Hand" - The one where Danny followed Lindsay across the country.

I think this is about the best place we have to post this. CBS has put up some random, fun videos for some of their shows, including CSI:NY. One is called The CSI:NY Workout which features a bunch of clips of various cast members doing physical things like chasing down suspects and whatnot, and another I like is one titled New Yawk Stata Mind which is a bunch of clips of Danny saying his usual brand of stuff.

I like that networks are catching on to how stuff like this can really enhance a fan's enjoyment. It makes me want to actually navigate around their sites to find fun stuff like this.
