I'm kind of surprised that there are already so many web sites for the show. Looks like the HBO web monkeys have been busy. In addition to the official HBO.com site, so far I've found the following:

I'm hoping the John Monad site will keep getting updated as we get more episodes. I've found 24 key words so far, and at least one of them seems to be from Day 2.

Seems like the John Monad site could be a "Lost" type site (I recall one for Oceanic Airlines before I got fed up with the whole thing), where if you click at the right time or in the right place you get a message. So far I've just gotten "Mitch Yost should get back in the game" by clicking on Mitch's picture. Not exactly revelatory, but enough to make me click on a few other pictures looking for other messages.

Hey marleyfan - I'm having a hard time reading it as well, but I got "Fear God" and then below that "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the HOLY ONE is understanding." At the bottom I think it says "read the Bible Luke 11:5-14 Jonh 6:10 Roman 10:4-10".

I found something on the Yost Clan website that may mean nothing..but under photos, if you click the photos in order (a number appears when you float over the pictures), the pictures move.

Probably nothing. But wierd. Like the show itself..sigh. I love it.

Oh - some help? I'm getting nuttin' on the Monad site - it just turns white? Any thoughts?

Ghettomommy: On the Yost site, if you arrange the pictures in order, the site reveals a 9th picture... that is in the Butchie photos. I can't get the Mitch photos to move.

On the Monad site, you need to type phrases (like "surf" or "god"). If you aren't getting the search box at the bottom of the page, then it is probably something with your Flash.

...And the billboard changes back and forth between "Fear God" and "See God". I'm enjoying the web sites and Youtube videos.

After you correctly arrange the pictures, go back to the home page and move your cursor over the text of the greeting. It will highlight the words of phrase that was used regularly in the first episode. When all the words of the phrase are highlighted, a new page called The Pipeline becomes available.

Interesting that when you type in "Jesus", you get Linc. Of course, he's saying the words "Jesus Christ" so I'll try not to read too much into that. Just surprised me to get Linc's face after typing in "Jesus."

I don't know if it's just a glitch or what, but FEAR GOD turns into FEAl GOD. Freddy might say the R is a shape-shifter.

The Pipeline is interesting but I can't figure out what to do with the Work Space or how to navigate the site. i understand you can view other's workspaces and that there's a bulletin board. I'm not seeing how to get there. Any hints, suggestions or similar?

I put the pics in order, then some crazy stuff happened when I went back to the home page, found the secret saying... but I can't find "The Pipeline". Any advice?

I had that problem initially as well kq338, so clicked "Home" and then the Pipeline showed up in the menu on the left side of the screen.

Surfing Legend Mitch Yost Joins WiLDCOAST Fight For Clean Water July 20, 2007
Mitch Yost, a legendary Imperial Beach surfer and shaper is the star of a new video at www.wildcoast.net calling on surfers to ask their congressional representatives to clean up border beach pollution.

"As a surfer I come to the ocean for sanctuary. It's my church," says Yost in the video filmed in Imperial Beach and Tijuana. "You wouldn't want somebody dumping sewage in your church."

The video is part of a larger effort by WiLDCOAST to highlight the plight of border beaches that were closed 198 days in 2006 due to contaminated sewage flows from the Tijuana River and new sources of pollution from the Baja coast from Playas de Tijuana to Baja Malibu.

"WiLDCOAST is stoked that Mitch has joined our fight for clean water. IB surfers have a long and proud history of protecting our coast and ocean. Thanks to the efforts to surfers like Mitch, our elected officials are finally taking a stand for clean border beaches," said Serge Dedina, Executive Director of WiLDCOAST.

Last week, WiLDCOAST scored a major victory against beach pollution when thanks to hundreds of letters, faxes, emails and phone calls sent by surfers from California and Mexico, Senator Diane Feinstein publicly supported providing federal funds to have an additional sewage treatment facility built along the United States side of the border.

On Wednesday July 18, sewage advisory signs were posted in Imperial Beach due to a release of sewage south of the border that also contaminated Playas de Tijuana. "Thanks to a great network of surfers and lifeguards in Northern Baja we are able to document and pinpoint the polluters who are illegally dumping human waste into the ocean," according to Ben McCue of WiLDCOAST. Ben recently traveled to Washington to meet with federal officials to urge them to act quickly to clean up the border beach pollution crisis.

Shaun Yost has that MyTube (YouTube) page. He has a subscriber (phxariz85020) who has a great aerial tour of Imperial Beach (JFC landmarks) and at the end of it, you can get a good look at the mural on the outside wall of Yost Boards.

Has anyone found John's "Shaun will soon be gone" video on the Yost Clan Fan Site? If so, how did you find it? Do you need to get to the pipeline first?

Shaunie also has a new youtube video up on his page. It's him juggling potatoes and he says he might join the circus someday. (The three ring type of circus, maybe?)

ETA: I read the HBO JFC boards on occasion and I've noticed IBSURFBUM (Mitch) and yostmaniac (Dwayne) post there and when they do, it's usually about a something specific and they seem to offer small clues. IBSURFBUM was pretty adamant about Shaunie's new video today. He posted it in like 4 different threads, and in his last one, he mentioned the circus comment. He also linked to the new video on Stinkweed about the Team Captain and also about some "IB local kid Linc signed" named Dave.
