Title's provisional, but I like it.

Delusions on parade tonight: Trump’s got a number one show? Nicole, Frank and Tim are the top three? Giving away water bottles is cheating? Love advice from Trump? At least Trump saw through his hard-on for Angela. Well, maybe he’ll still get to have Angela as a daughter-in-law… Did I see Angela making eyes at Ivanka again?

Does anyone understand why James wanted to keep Frank? He muttered something about “hands” that I didn’t understand…
tracyflick
Most bogus firing ever.

Tim? Do you think you could ask Nicole for your balls back? Thanks.
WampaLord
Wow, Trump, just give Angela 80 million second chances. I honestly didn't think he would fire here for a minute there.

Oh, and Tim? When FRANK has to lecture you on maturity, it's time to grow up a lot.
tjames
You know, I wasn't entirely sure before this ep, but now I am - Nicole is the dumbest person on TV. Ever.

So dumb she actually has to have an "N" applique on the ass of her pants so she knows they're hers.

And Tim's not too far behind, seeing as he's dating her. At least, I think I remember hearing that mentioned a few times tonight...

Not sure which I find more odd -- that Trump is so into grilling the two moronic lovebirds about their 'relationship,' or that Ivanka thinks it's funny that he is and actually compared his interviewing of a potential fake-hiree with a father-daughter interaction. Bizarre.
ToukieSmith
Was it just me or was I the only one expecting Nicole to ask Mr. Trump not to mention her personal relationships in the boardroom? Damn that girl is childish.
ToukieSmith
My first double post!!
KathyC4
Hey, in case nobody knew it - Angela won a gold, silver and bronze medal in the olympics. I was shocked she didn't manage to work it into the conversation!
thuganomics85
I'll give Nicole this: thanks to her, I never cared so much for an outcome before. I was almost praying that Arrow would stomp her and the rest of the Kinetics in the ground, and I almost cheered, when they did. Thanks for making me care, Nicole. Idiot. Although, she does deserve Tim, since he's an idiot, who clearly doesn't posses balls.

Pretty much pulling for Stefani/James F2 now. Only two I like, and not just find entertaining (Frank) or just because they're attractive (Heidi.) Angela was actually likeable tonight; to bad I barely knew her, before now. At least she left without any hard feelings.

When Nicole asked Trump if he could allow Tim to join Kinetic, I was hoping James would say "Give us Heidi, and you got yourself a deal!"
tindy

That's EXACTLY what I thought she would say. I was disappointed. At least she had ability to say, "Mr. Trump!" when he asked her over and over.
Lambchop
So James separated Tim and Nicole. And I go "Weeeee!"

I couldn't believe it when Nicole was sitting around with Tim and Frank having a beer and she interviewed she was one of the strongest candidates. That must've been some strong beer they were drinking.

James made the right decision. Frank's good at sales, Stephanie really is good at organizing, and if I had to choose between Tim and Nicole, I'd have kept Tim too. He actually seemed more focused and back on his game without Nicole around.

Nicole was such a big baby about the whole thing, I was really hoping she'd get canned. Too bad it was Angela. I liked her, but she really did suck as a leader.

Give us a reason why we shouldn't fire you.....

"We were going in the wrong direction..." The hell?
DCRob
Watching Nicole packing up to change teams was enlightening. It turns out, to no one's surprise, that she had a closetful of clothes that required two large suitcases. So much for the theatrics of their each wheeling one small bag into the boardroom.

On close inspection that hedge between Nicole and Tim was pretty porous. Can you say "glory hedge"?
ShantasticBus
This is the first (and only) time I will watch this season. I had nothing better to do (well, staring at a wall was tied with this) so I watched to see how bad it had gotten.

So bad. I HATE! everything about Nicole. I hated her within the first five minutes after watching her menage à trois with Frank and Tim: "Oh, we're the best! Boyz luv me!" and listening to her sandpaper-on-gravel-smoker screech. And then watching her pout when James kicked her to Kinetic and pretend like she was just going to leave with dignity and get her revenge with succe—oh, wait! Screaming on the front lawn! Smoker Screeching!

And then what the fuck was the Pyramus and Thisbe reenactment at the hedge? It really did sound like two guys pretending to be in love...and Nicole was nicely double-cast as the scary lion.

Frank is grossly insightful. Ivanka kicks ass. As usual.

Also: Whenever I think of spending $800 on something, I always picture buying it from someone on roller skates. That says "sound financial investment" to me.
Wallyhorse
My thoughts, reflecting the entire episode, extended footage and webisode:

The webisode noted a little more in depth into why James sent Nicole over to Kinetic. There also was some very interesting tidbits noted in that, including Nicole noting how James was "intimidated" by her when she raised her voice, how Frank spend money heavily, etc.

All signs before the episode aired seemed to point to Kinetic winning this task, especially since Nicole moved to Kinetic from Arrow, but as the episode unfolded, and especially when Arrow's members were able to "steal" customers from Kinetic in spite of Kinetic's all-female team using "their assets" (as Nicole basically put it, saying how sex sells in one of her confessionals). The big key to this was when James realized he could take advantage of their having water bottles and Kinetic not having such (as they were all on roller skates and didn't have a desk), taking customers from Kinetic by claiming they needed water bottles to get in with the passes. Although that may not have been the "right" way to do it, that turned out to be huge as Aarow won the task by almost $7,000. This included Nicole being teed off in one of her confessionals, especially with the way Tim came over and lied about his team having a better promotion.

In extended footage on Yahoo, Nicole and Kristine were discussing how Angela did, and they didn't seem to really think Angela did that bad of a job, and it was more they felt that Arrow cheated to some degree (which in my opinion they did, however, that was also in my opinion within the context of the rules of this particular task), and if the teams had done it in reverse, who knows if Kinetic would have pulled what Arrow did and vice versa. A real tough call in that regard.

It was obvious later that Tim's feelings for Nicole were still there, but Nicole's mind was clearly focused on the boardroom when he talked to her the morning after they had an argument through the hedges (that was gone into more in depth in the webisode) the night before, though Nicole's mind by the time Tim was trying to mend fences at that point (though I think Nicole and Tim did weather the storm just fine), though Stefanie was saying before the boardroom how they were not there to develop personal relationships as they were competing for a job with Mr. Trump, basically saying to stay focused on that.

The boardroom clearly had Mr. Trump wanting to save Angela (and Angela did try to save herself), but Heidi, Kristine and Nicole all realized that while Angela didn't really do that poor of a job as PM (despite losing by as much as they did on this task), Angela did deserve to go, though James' thinking that including the "lie" about water bottles being required with the passes being sold probably was why Angela wound up being "fired" by Mr. Trump. Angela did try to blame Nicole for the loss, but Nicole's idea of roller skates to counter James' table setting seemed at the time like a good idea, but James' tactics caused that idea to go downhill. James in turn said when asked by Mr. Trump why he sent Nicole to Kinetic, it was because she was the weakest of what was in his opinion a very strong team (whether that is true or not is another story).

In her exit interview on Yahoo!, Angela did discuss how she felt using roller skates was not the greatest of ideas, though Angela again stated she felt Arrow "crossed the line" in the tactics they used in winning this task, saying she would have set up a booth or kiosk if she did this again. Like most candidates, Angela did note how great the experience was being on the show, however.

In the webisode, Mr. Trump did note that he listened to what Nicole said about bringing Tim over to Kinetic, and we would find out about this in the next episode.
marylou
At least Trump saw through his hard-on for Angela.

I think he sees though this show, as in when he says", Angela, you will not be the next Apprentice which means in TrumpSpeak, that she will not be the next famewhore that I ensconce in a job based on the outcome of this wretched game show.

I think Angela got her job offer from TD about five seconds after this episode aired, if not sooner.
troubleinmind
Nicole is incredibly annoying, but, I don't think it was her fault that they lost - especially since Angela seemed to love her idea. I also don't think it was Arrow's fault that they lost. A sales competition is exactly that, a competition, and if you are in the same location, that means getting the customer, no matter whether someone else approached him/her first. If Arrow was playing "dirty" (which is subjective), then Kinetic could have grabbed the customer right back, if they were good enough salespeople.

Kudos to James for splitting up the terrible twosome. It was humorous as hell to watch Nicole throw her tantrums while Tim was so low-key about it all. All that bs about fighting for her was nuts. This isn't a 19th century romantic novel, it's an individual each man/woman for themselves job interview (the value of which is debatable). I think James made the perfect decision. I would have kept Frank because he's entertaining and hustles; Steffani because she kicks major ass, and I hope she wins, and might as well toss Nicole because between her and Tim at least he doesn't screech so loud.
They really should keep their personal dramas out of it and for Tim to go and "tattle" to Nicole about what was going to be brought up in the boardroom, to me was inappropriate. Frank knew what was up while James seemed oblivious. As someone said, when Frank comes off as the wise one, something is wrong.

Also, I don't think Angela really fit this show. She was some kind of draw I suppose (although not for me) being an Olympian and all (and kudos to her for that), but, I never saw her skills. She just didn't have that killer business sense and I believe Trumpy kept her all this time because he wanted to keep her around for show. Perhaps he did offer her something afterward. In any case, his extreme desire not to find fault with her made the whole process even more absurd than usual.

This show has picked up somewhat after an abysmal start and I have no idea why. Not that it's getting good or anything, please don't mistake my tolerance for enjoyment.
Booster
I note that this week, Heidi had her answer to Trump's "Who would you fire?" ready and waiting.
PopinFresh13
Nicole was being incredibly stupid, and I should've expected Trump to side with her. They are both idiots and should realize this is business and Tim and Nicole only met two minutes ago. Tim is stupid because he still wants her and is helping her. These two are just annoying.

I'm getting a really bad vibe from Felicia. She seems like she'd stab you in the back in a heartbeat to succeed. Plus she constantly has a bitchface on her.
TheLady2
So dumb she actually has to have an "N" applique on the ass of her pants so she knows they're hers.

The return of the Bedazzler! How sweet it would be if someone "bedazzled" Nicole's mouth shut as well.

I'm not sure if "cheating" is the right word for Arrow's behavior. But someone (Angela?) tried to go down a path of saying that it made Universal look bad. And that, I completely agree with.

Imagine yourself as a tourist and you get here and you see all these guys swarming around trying to sell you a park pass. That, in and of itself, would be kind of a turnoff for me. But anyhoo, the immediate assumption is that all of there people work for Universal and that it is equivalent to buy a pass from any of them. So you just find anyone, buy a pass, and move on.

Then you notice that these people are yelling and arguing and making disparaging remarks to each other, and generally acting rather erratically. At best, the whole thing would seem very unprofessional. At worst, it would make me think that there was some kind of scam or other weird thing going on. In either case, it would certainly not leave a good impression on anyone.

It does seem unethical, in some sense, for Arrow to have "lied" during the task, saying our passes are better/cheaper/nicer than your passes, our water is required to get in the park, they are selling phony passes, they are running a scam, when they clearly were offering the exact same deals.

The problem: there was no way to translate all of this to a good or bad in the boardroom. There were no Universal people around to give input, and the only criteria for winning was sales numbers.

This reminded me of that deal where Rebecca and Randal went to Rat Shack and bought all of the bullhorns that Alla and Felicia had rounded up. That was also kind of a dirty trick in my mind ... but there is clearly no rule in TrumpWorld that says you have to play nice.
Lu278
I definitely like Arrow more with Nicole gone. The team seems much more close-knit, and they even had a significant victory against Kinetic without her. Indicating something, I wonder? I think Nicole's voice and her showmance with Tim was a large distraction.

I knew immediately that if the task involved sales, James' team would win since he had the best salesmen in his group. I totally agreed with Ivanka that their gimmick with rollerskates lacked sales legitimacy.

Kudos to Trump for recognizing that Arrow is now a star over Kinetic. AT LAST!!

In regards to the cheating allegation, I thought Kinetic might have been guilty as well when they positioned themselves right in front of Arrow's booth to steal their customers. I really don't see Arrow's move as anything more than to counteract Kinetic from stealing their customers. As Ivanka remarked, Arrow just utilized hardnosed sales tactics. I thought the bullhorns were pretty funny.

I think it's because they're taking it personally now. Plus this last task it wasn't obvious who was going to win until Arrow started selling. I actually thought the roller skates were a good idea. Shows what I know. Angela need to come up with a Plan B. Lower prices, or "Buy a pass from an Olympian" or something.

I'm not sure if "cheating" is the right word for Arrow's behavior. But someone (Angela?) tried to go down a path of saying that it made Universal look bad. And that, I completely agree with.

It did make Universal look bad. Another businessperson might have cared, say Martha Stewart, but not Trump.

I wonder when they'll let everyone stay in the house?
Lilady
In what world is The Apprentice the #1 show on TV?? Another delusional remark from the Trumpster.
IdRatherRead
Trump has completely lost his mind. #1 Show? Where? Maybe in the Guantanamo terrorist torture chamber. I wonder how much editing they had to do to remove all the eye rolls from the contestants after hearing that bit of fantasy.

Maybe its just me, but Angela looked like she didn't fight that hard to stay on the show. She seemed to be smiling and chuckling it away when Trump & Ivanka were grilling her in the boardroom. We've seen most other candidates respond to that with passion and fire. Fighting/arguing to save themselves for another week.

Anglea had this look of "I'd like to stay, but if I'm gone, then that's life", indifference to the whole thing. This is from an olympic athlete (did you know that? she won gold medal. I hope they don't miss out on telling us), who is used to pushing themselves to the absolute limit. They have as much passion and fire to win as any Trump executive can hope for. It came across to me that they recruited her for the show, and she agreed, but after seeing the travesty that this show has turned into, wanted out ASAP.

And Nicole, if you think that you are Top 3 material, then you are just as delusional as Trump. Then again, that would make you perfect for the job. The 2 of you can run away to fantasy-land and tell each other how the rest of the world is stupid for not thinking you're so wonderful.
smoky
One smart move Nicole did was to make it clear to Trump that she had ALOT of insight to her old teammates & shared that information with Kinetic.
mertensia
Nicole's diatribe against being sent away from Tim would have been more appropriate in a Sweet Valley High movie.

This is a competition! You would have had to switch to different teams sooner or later!

I thought it was interesting that James refused to get all hot and bothered about what Tim might or might not be saying to Nicole.
superpole2000
They are both idiots and should realize this is business and Tim and Nicole only met two minutes ago.

The short time period also makes me cringe when I hear the way they discuss this relationship, but I think the emotional ride one experiences on such a show makes this time period effectively longer. Though they've known each other for just a few weeks, I'm sure the emotional time equivalent has been more like half a year. They have spent every minute together, and every few days they had to endure some sort of competition. I think a strong bond can be formed under those circumstances.

And every time I start thinking Frank is a good candidate, I remind myself of his performance in the opening episode. He was eiliminated in my mind after that.
Character Zero
Nicole's reaction to Tim not supporting her (after she lost) was so stupid. Had she won, I bet it wouldn't have been an issue because then she would have been on a winning team. And why not be mad and call him out when she left? She is just trying to make him feel bad because she lost. Also I think it really was her fault they lost. Not for the idea but because she knew EXACTLY what they are going to do. They were going to have big signs and a table. So you think she could come up with a better idea to beat them with. Or at least field some brainstorming to see if it would beat them.

As far as cheating, go cry in a corner. If they tell someone there is a better deal somewhere else and there is an fact a better deal, how is that cheating? You think Trump hasn't stolen away a few buyers from other businessmen? Come on, stop making excuses!
magathia
One smart move Nicole did was to make it clear to Trump that she had ALOT of insight to her old teammates & shared that information with Kinetic

Which led to them deciding that being mobile was a great idea. I guess it's good she tries to make herself look essential to the team to Trump, but roller skates WAS her idea, so it's a wash. Her begging for her Timmy back at the end? GAG. And Trump calling Tim disloyal and getting so into the 'romance'? DOUBLE GAG.

About time DT gave Arrow some credit. They have been rockin' several of these tasks and he just keeps giving the Kinetic women a tongue bath every week. He had such a hard on for Angela I didn't know if he would be able to actually fire her, but she looked a second away from quitting if he didn't. She didn't fight at all for the chance to stay. "The team went in the wrong direction" would be them following their leader, Angela. Not a particularly convincing argument.

I wish they didn't have the perma PM thing going because I would really like to see Stephanie take the lead on a task. She appears to be working hard behind the scenes, but I want her for a finalist and I'd like to see her in action before then.

I am starting to think Frank looks strong . I have been thinking he is dead man walking since the first 2 episodes, but damn, he just makes so much sense. I also couldn't stand screaming James, but I am liking him a lot more. He was totally right in his decision. Either Nicole or Tim had to go to Kinetic and she has the annoying voice. I would have sent her as well.

Both of the other Kinetic girls have been PM. Does that mean that next week Nicole will, er, 'step up'?

In what world is The Apprentice the #1 show on TV

Trump has completely lost his mind. #1 Show? Where?

When The Donald said "I have the number one show on television!", he REALLY meant:

a) ...on the planet Ivanka, in the Melania system;

b) ...in the crucial 80-96 demographic;

c) "Angela! How could you do this to me? ANGELA!"

d) ...amongst car-wash enthusiasts who frequent Universal theme parks and watch NBC's "top-rated" soap opera, Passions

e) "ANGELA. My star! My champion! Sit on my face! Mommy, where are you? LPGA RULEZ!!!"
WampaLord
c) "Angela! How could you do this to me? ANGELA!"

...

e) "ANGELA. My star! My champion! Sit on my face! Mommy, where are you? LPGA RULEZ!!!"

No f'ing kidding, davidcalgary29. I honestly thought Trump was gonna start bawling after he fired her. Okay, we get it, gold medal in hockey, very impressive (and I'm even a hockey fan) but how does that relate to BUSINESS LEADERSHIP in any way?

Does she have drive, perserverance, etc.? Of course. But can she lead a team of business professionals in a business task? Well, no, and she can't even defend herself despite getting 5 more chances than any other Apprentice candidate, EVER. Can't wait for Jacob's line-by-line recap of the boardroom, it should be a hoot.
JTMacc99
James, Tim, Stefani and Frank are ... a formidable team. Like, the kind of team that very well might have convincingly won any of the final espisode four-person team tasks. James's "let my people do what my people do" leadership works VERY well in this group, which is highly unusual for this show. Obviously, they could still lose next week, especially if it's one of those tasks that either actually requires a good idea or is subjectively judged, but after this week I am very impressed with the way they operate.
CheekyCricket
There also was some very interesting tidbits noted in that, including Nicole noting how James was "intimidated" by her when she raised her voice

It doesn't surprise me that Nicole interprets a negative response to her loud brassy voice as "intimidation." I suspect that James (and others, because I'm sure he's not the only one) instinctively withdraw when she starts shouting, and Nicole assumes that this means others are cowed by her strength and determination. I might be frightened that she'd never ever quiet down, but that's not the same thing as finding her personally intimidating. From what I've winessed, Nicole has scarcely any awareness of how others perceive her.

As far as Universal Studios possibly feeling that Arrow had represented them poorly, I'm reminded that the Hollywood film industry isn't known as a bastion of integrity, honor and fairness.
Arkay
How will Trump survive the rest of the season without being able to shout "YOU WON A GOLD MEDAL!" every three minutes? He's such a dirty old man, preferring to salivate over the junior-high relationship between Tim and Nicole even more than having his GOLD! MEDAL! WINNER! around. You know Trump and gold...his favorite decorating color motif...the word is such a trigger for him...but I guess nothing can hold a candle to repeatedly asking Tim & Nicole if they are in TL4E.
That said, I was so happy Nicole's new team lost. Very nervy to say that Arrow wasn't playing fair when Nicole's first thought was to use what she saw as the Kinetic girls' overwhelming sexuality to lure customers to them.
supie
I am so sick of this show. The boardroom is a joke. Trump does not even let anyone answer his stupid questions. He seems more interested in a lame showmance than anything about business. I forgot, this show is not about business, it is also not number one, Trumpy.
OT. I saw Kendra hosting a show on HGTV, so much for the business world.
Scholls1
I don't believe for a minute that Trump was heartbroken over Angela. First of all if caterwauls about being "the number one t.v. show" and "Angela is the greatest" in the same breath, how can anything he say be given any credibility?

I believe he liked Angela on paper - an Olympian! What's not to love?

I think she came across as extremely flat. That athletic drive did not cross over to fighting with the other brats to win. She probably is extremely gifted, has a great education, and the Olympic experience is quite unique. But, she seemed very uncomfortable trying to eek out a role and/or position on the show. And I think he figured that out.

I don't have the show on tape - but my memory is that he kept asking "tell me why I shouldn't fire you" over and over and really didn't wait for an answer (and of course she didn't try to force one in...). And I found it interesting that Ivanka is the one who really phrased the question in the negative to Angela "why shouldn't you be fired"... and Trump jumped on it. I think he appreciated the out, and really wasn't going to listen to anything she said if she had squeezed it in. I particularly believe this, because he could have fired Nicole - who would have otherwise been the clear and easy target.

And I think that James was quite concerned that Nicole didn't get fired - I think he counted on Trump firing her as well and was a bit uneasy at the end with the firing of Angela.

And the whole Jim / Nicole thing makes me queasy. Someone else posted that they are surprised at how much they've come to like Frank. Count me in. He's the only one who made any sense this week.

And whereas Stefani comes across well... it seems like she's really flying low on the radar - I'll be curious to see what happens to her in the end.
umrguy42
Obviously, they could still lose next week, especially if it's one of those tasks that either actually requires a good idea or is subjectively judged, but after this week I am very impressed with the way they operate.

Yeah, and from the promos, I'm wondering if next week we should expect some kind of bloodbath-mass-firing of one of the teams (or like half thereof) - especially since we're close to the end of the show (4 weeks, and 7 candidates, I think?)

But I did like Arrow calling Trump's attention to the fact that they're not all incredible f-ups (well, not so much as they appeared earlier in the season, anyway), and the fact that he actually acknowledged it.

On a technical note, maybe I'm crazy, but was the opening credits really short, or was it just me not paying attention any more?
pinhead
I was kind of skeeved out by James' proclaimation that he really, really needed Frank's hands......
Fellaway
umrguy42:

On a technical note, maybe I'm crazy, but was the opening credits really short, or was it just me not paying attention any more?

I noticed that, too. My thought was that it was so they could work in an extra minute or so of the showmance "drama." 'Cause we're all just hangin' onto the edge over that one, don't ya know.
thuganomics85
On a technical note, maybe I'm crazy, but was the opening credits really short, or was it just me not paying attention any more?

They were short. Burnett's other show, Survivor, does the same thing. After a few episodes with the long credits (where you see all the contestants and whatnot), it suddenly gets shorten halfway, possibly to show more drama and stuff. Although, knowing Burnett, it could also be to show more advertising.

But I did like Arrow calling Trump's attention to the fact that they're not all incredible f-ups (well, not so much as they appeared earlier in the season, anyway), and the fact that he actually acknowledged it.

Yeah, I did like that. I was tired of Trump drooling over Kinetic (yeah, they won the first few tasks, Trump. But they aren't that great!), especially when he pretty much declared that he was pulling for Kinetic, before the results were annouced. I know he was sort of joking, but it annoyed me, and I was glad to see him have to eat crow.
erazor
The task was interesting in several ways:

1. There was the obvious visual impact of the kiosk (balloons making it appear like some kind of special promotion) versus the idea of visual "hot babe" impact of rollerskates. Angela's team does not comprise hottie starlets, cheerleaders, porno babes, or Maxim models. The misapprehension of the second "roll out" (ugh!) cost the team quite a bit. Had Angela and her gals looked like Carmen Electra and been wearing bikinis, they might have had a race.

Interesting that balloons have played a part in winning a task twice in this current series. Do not underestimate visual impact and subconcious patriotic pride of red, white, and blue balloons.

2. What kind of a dumbshit customer would believe that he could not get park access without a bottle of water? This is a lesson that should be learned for all future contestants. It was so ridiculous that it couldn't possibly work, and yet it did. If anyone challenged this, we didn't see it. Made note that James has a killer instinct. This cut Angela's throat, Angela who wanted everything above-board (Olympian!), equal, and ethical.

3. I don't know that a competing kiosk would have worked. The only place to locate it is at the entrance. The rollerskates, while flawed, did allow for some mobility as Angela noticed, but the ultimate range of mobility couldn't have taken them too deep into the park or they'd have lost the ability to corner and harangue the entering patrons.

Found Tim and Nicole's disagreement the perfect illustration of the breakdown in communication between men and women, a ne'er the twain shall meet argument that encapsulates the Men/Mars, Women/Venus dichotomy. Both of them are too young to cut the other any slack. He only gave me a shitty box of See's candies on Valentine's Day! I don't get daily blowjobs!

I liked Angela, but the call was right here. I could see the twinkle in her eye about the sporting skating idea. Neither she nor Heidi or Kristine offered up any resistance to this energetic suggestion. I'm not sure what other direction she could have taken. James still would have undermined her with his water=admission interpretation of the rules. I do agree that Nicole was ultra-enthusiastic, but that enthusiasm and perceived insight into the competitor caused a value to be placed on her inside opinion (which turned out to be correct) that was not in any way challenged or left open to other ideas.
gapkid
I think she came across as extremely flat.

Someone referred to her as the "lame, blonde giantess" which perfectly describes her (If you were the one who came up with that brilliant description of Angela, please step up). I knew she would fall flat on her face as PM. At any rate, I think Heidi and Kristine saw Nicole as a very weak player (who can be gotten rid of at any point down the line) and took this opportunity to get rid of Angela, even though they like her a lot.

I don't have the show on tape - but my memory is that he kept asking "tell me why I shouldn't fire you" over and over and really didn't wait for an answer

He always does this. It's incredibly stupid.
potoroo
I think Angela got her job offer from TD about five seconds after this episode aired, if not sooner.

Well he might have some bodyguard position openings.
gapkid
He'll definitely need one if he continues those cheap shots at Rosie O'Donnell. Then again, I'm not sure who will win in a fist fight - Rosie or Angela?
AnnieBananie
I wish the cameras had followed Nicole beyond the hedge and shown us Kinetic's reaction to her arrival, and their subsequent discussion. That would have been interesting.
ChaiTea
Could this episode be more boring? I had to hit the info button on my DVR a few times. For a minute, I thought I was a watching a CBS After School Special.

Tim sent Nicole to the other team because she was the weakest player?? OH the drama!

Heidi, Kristine, and Angela gang up Nicole because she's was the 'newcomer??' What a twist!

Arrow steals Kinetic's customers?? How clever!! Wow! I didn't see that happening...

Even watching Angela get fired was a yawn.

And those tears at the end?? What the hell was that?? Ok, I think Angela's tears were real. But Kristine?? Did she borrow a heart or something? I am sick of these sappy friendships and the T'icole love fest. All this episode needed was some binge drinking and someone getting caught smoking weed after curfew. I'm starting to miss the frat boy keg party atmosphere. Trump didn't even say 'ass' once in the boardroom. Oh Trump, where is your assiness?

The task was BORING. Selling package tickets to an Amusement Park. Big whoop. And then there is Nicole screaming how "sex sells! Sex sells! Sex sells!" Could she be anymore clueless? Who goes to Amusement Parks?? Hello? It's a Family Friendly atmosphere. It's Mom and the kids. Husbands and wives. Step parents. Aunts. Uncles. School trips. Do you ever see Minnie Mouse shaking her jugs in front of Dad to buy more key chains? And those back-pack cash registers weren't exactly figure flattering. Nicole's assets clearly aren't located in her head.

I think James actually made a sound decision based on facts very quickly. It didn't make him popular. Heidi or Kristine would never do that. It would take them 3 days to just come up with an under handed, sneaky way to make it look like it wasn't their fault. And another 4 days to execute it.

Even still, each week, I like James less and less. He is just so irritating.

Wow, only 4 pages! I hope this is a result of the boards being down as opposed to the show sucking. Aw hell, who am I kidding? This show blows. And yet, I can’t turn away!

e) "ANGELA. My star! My champion! Sit on my face! Mommy, where are you? LPGA RULEZ!!!"

Thank you for this. Funniest thing I have read in a long time.

ETA...because now there are 4 pages!

Frankie? The voice of reason over the Hedgemance? Say it isn't so? Well Trump said he HAS the number 1 show, so I must have been dreaming.

What really bugs me about Trump is he constantly asks the about-to-fired to defend themselves. Then, as soon as they open their mouth to try and do that, he cuts them off. Let them speak for God's sake.

Too bad Angela didn't win this task. That would have sealed her fate as the next Apprentice. So much for my prediction of a Trophy Apprentice.

New prediction: Since Trump has such hard-on for Tim and Nicole, they are going to be F2, and Trump is going to milk it during the lame-ass finale.

I think (and hope) you're kididng, because Tim has yet to PM after 10 tasks and Nicole's PM record is 0-1. Plus, both have been in the final boardroom more than once.

If it was any other show, gapkid, I would say that I'm kidding. But with the super-sized train wreck of a season this has been, my prediction could become reality.

A finale like this would be right up Trump's alley. I can just see it now. Trump questions them about their respective tasks, who did better, etc. The question is directed at Nicole. Nicole says she did better than Tim because... As soon as Nicole says "Tim," Trump cuts her off and asks if she loves Tim. Totally inappropriate, and totally Trump.
