Whatever Sasha was wearing in last night's episode...damn. That is all.

(Okay, wait. Gunfight? I'm down...)
mandragor
Indeed. That bustier was insane. Or rather, her MASSIVE BREASTS in that bustier were insane.

And maybe I just don't have high def, but I didn't see ANY characters or anything resembling characters on that kimono. Anyone??

HOW AWESOME was Catherine Oxenburg on the phone? Eeeevil though Leandra/Natasha is, that character is complex and cool, and so growing on me. She's definitely the brains of that jiz-oint.
Bill C
I think the kanji characters were in a fairly dark color on the kimono trim, because I couldn't make them out either. Then again, they didn't really focus on much of anything in that scene other than everybody's faces and Sasha's outstanding (yeah, pun) firmament.

When I watched the re-cap show on Tuesday, the announcer said that Michael pursued Julia to get to Alfred. Well if all our theories are right, I think he has been given a little bit of the virus and needed Alfred to come up with an anti-virus to save him.

I didn't realize that that was Supercuts' primary motivation for pursuing Julia. At times, before I knew all his dark freaky secrets, he seemed to genuinely care for her. I know Alfred is asking questions and made a very astute observation: the only people he knew who had security at their weddings when he was growing up were gangsters and royalty.

Supercuts has definitely been riding Alfred's butt hard to find an antiviral to save him. But I'm still trying to understand what in the world did he infect himself with that has him bleeding not only out of his nose, but his ears also. No wonder Jack was freaked out! I was even more freaked out when I saw the maid cleaning that huge stain on the rug.

BTW, I loved the look Jack gave Supercuts and Julia last night when they were doing their little role-playing: "F*ck both of you AND the horses you rode in on!"

Horray, Boobella was back. Jack is such a tease, gets her all hot and bothered and walks away.

LOL! Yeah, she did seem quite frustrated last night! I admire that man's willpower given the way Boobella was serving 'em up last night.
escapetochg
Bill C I knew that Boobella was your favorite for a reason! Dag those boobs need their own zip code.

Catherine Oxenburg is great in that role. I wonder if she is going to give Michael the forbidden kiss tonight since the My Network website says that she is harboring a secret love for Michael. I would like to add that Catherine is a real life Princess but she really needs to spend some time on her skin. She was so gorgeous when she was younger but looks like she is too skinny and it makes her look old and wrinkled. Here is a story about her and Casper's life together. Wow Casper has quite a background. They are both survivors of sexual abuse as children.

I was sorta disappointed in tonights episode because I wanted more. Every 10 minutes they had a series of commercials that sucked up a lot of airtime. My poor Jack getting shot. Did everyone see how concerned Sasha was? Oh her gorgeous boytoy almost didn't make it.

the last scene with Alfred watching some chemist telling him he might die was the best thing that happened all night because it created a lot of fear in Alfred. Do you think he will disappear too?
mandragor

Just Tuned In

Today @ 10:01 pm
Um, I guess the previous posts were lost?? Ok, with as many times as Jack has said "I'll kill ya" to Michael, I am fully expecting him to do so by the end of this series!!!! Put up or shut up Jack!!!

WORD to that. I wish I'd started counting those. You touch my family? I'll kill ya. Supercuts doesn't even bat an orangey eyelid.
Bill C
Bill C I knew that Boobella was your favorite for a reason! Dag those boobs need their own zip code.

Catalina Rodriguez is plenty cute in her own right (though she doesn't look good to me in profile--something about her nose), but between the doingy-doingy bustier and a surprising lack of eyeshadow (or was it a different, subtler color?)...for the first time Sasha actually approached stupid hotness.

(...though she still needs an ass.)

...the last scene with Alfred watching some chemist telling him he might die was the best thing that happened all night because it created a lot of fear in Alfred. Do you think he will disappear too?

God, I floved the Flash Drive of Exposition! Unfortunately, it probably sets Alfred up for heartbreak...you know he's going to go to Dr. Baden and want to try to get her out.
Prettyeyes
I think Boris is all huffy (if Prettyeyes is correct) b/c it a)keeps his cover and b) if he's squeezed out, threatens his operation. But again--he'd have to know by this time that Jack is an ally.

Not necessarily. The way I see it,if my theory is correct, the only reason Jack hasn't confided in Andre is because he doesn't trust Andre. As far as Jack knows, Andre's just one of Michael's minions. At this point, I don't blame Jack for being suspicious.

I think Michael is pushing the virus so hard to get a cure for HIMSELF.

I agree. If Michael's willingness to kill countless numbers of innocent people just to save his own ass isn't proof that he's evil, then I don't know what is. Now that Jack knows Michael's secret, he'd be stupid not to use it to his advantage when the time is right.

Julia pissed me off most of this week. She lost her right to judge Jack's private life when she not only stopped being a part of it, she accepted Michael's marriage proposal. Her inadvertently endangering Natalie's life didn't help. As for Julia's safety, Jack and Alfred have told her that the only reason why Jack's still working for Michael is to protect her and Caroline. Since Julia didn't take Jack's word for it, she should have at least believed her dad. OTOH, Julia regained some cool points with me when she treated Jack's gunshot wound. Julia kept the pouting whining smugness to a minimum, to her credit.

Re Boobella, I'm not too broken up about her realizing that Jack's been playing her all along. It's not much, if any, different, than what she's probably done to countless other guys.
Simon Williams
Are Andre and Ryan still on the show?
Bill C
Yeah. Andre was popping off shots at Sasha's right-hand thug in last night's episode, and Ryan pops up sporadically just to be cute.
dubbel zout
Are Andre and Ryan still on the show?

They haven't been together (onscreen, at least) for a while.

Oh, the Flash Drive of Exposition—such a soapy standard. Love it.

Boobella really shouldn't be so surprised that Jack was playing her. Did she really think Michael wouldn't try to cut her out?
mandragor
Not necessarily. The way I see it,if my theory is correct, the only reason Jack hasn't confided in Andre is because he doesn't trust Andre. As far as Jack knows, Andre's just one of Michael's minions. At this point, I don't blame Jack for being suspicious.

Actually I meant the opposite....that Andre would perhaps trust Jack and realize that he's on his side too (if indeed Andre is undercover.) Jack so far has no reason to think anything good about Andre, as you said....

Yep, Loved the flash drive of doom. There was an all-important flash drive in FH too.

I am getting the feeling that Alfred is growing leery of Christine. She has become an avoider and Alfred wants facts that she isn't providing. In a pre-view clip they show Alfred running, I wonder if he is going to find something out and witnesses them trying to kill Jack (security pins him to the ground and points guns at him) after Michael screams, "kill him" to someone on the phone.

Its going to be a long wait til Monday to see what is coming up next. Julia might get some brain cells by then and start to realize that marrying Supercuts is not for her.......that is what we all would like to believe right? She'll marry Supercuts because she is a dumb-ass. Maybe the wedding is where all the action will take place.

Does everyone get the feeling that amoungst the cast of characters, one of them is calling the FBI to bring down Supercuts freaky empire?
soccered
This show is such a guilty pleasure. I love Julia and Jack together, although I'm getting tired of the way she treats him. She's so damn wishy-washy. She loves Jack, she doesn't love Jack, she hates Michael, she's engaged to Michael. Make up your damn mind, woman!! I wonder if deep down she knows that Michael is a ruthless man and she's only staying with him because she knows what he's capable of.
escapetochg
Don't you just want to slap Julia with a wet noodle? I wonder too if she is afraid for her life, as well as her dad's knowing Michael can be such a control freak?
Bill C
Julia hasn't seen Evil Supercuts yet, though. He's been a little controlling around her, and a little bitchy, but not actually evil. She gets it all second-hand through Jack, who certainly has a vested interest in wanting to discredit her paramour--and who keeps taking it back whenever she seems to get to the point of believing him. (Way to be decisive there, Jack.)
dubbel zout
Oh, but Jack doesn't want to hurt Julia with the dirty truth about Michael because then Julia will be in danger, hence the waffling. Why Jack hasn't thought of spiriting Julia off somewhere is beyond me, though it would probably be against her will. That doesn't exactly make for the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

The wedding would be a great place for the showdown, since all the characters will be there and it's the natural place for a slaughter. Plus, it would be a great homage to Catherine Oxenburg's Dynasty wedding massacre.
Bill C
I'll have to doublecheck my EPG when I get home, but IIRC the next couple of episodes focus on Sasha wanting to strike back at Supercuts--by going after Julia. Wednesday's episode, thus, is entitled Corpse Bride.
MulletorHater

Yeah, Julia sort of redeemed herself with me in Friday's episode. Although I'm still trying to figure out why she's marrying Supercuts if she's so sprung on Jack. I'm also trying to recall if I've ever heard her come right out and say that she loved Supercuts.

Re Boobella, I'm not too broken up about her realizing that Jack's been playing her all along. It's not much, if any, different, than what she's probably done to countless other guys.

Serious WORD. I realize that women don't like to be played but did she honestly believe her stuff was that golden?
escapetochg
OMG last nights epi was good! Alfred es mas loco for talking to Christine. Sorry but I think she knows she has to kill him now and was freaked out.

Observation: Why is the mansion under lock down 24/7 but the day of the wedding, everyone is being allowed in regardless of who they are. Isn't that a security risk? Sasha at the wedding is priceless. Poor Jack will have a stalker at the wedding that he can't stop.
dubbel zout
The mansion is in lockdown because Supercuts is afraid Sasha is going to retaliate for the kidnapping of Le Canard, or whatever the guy's name is. Everyone will be let in for the wedding so that Sasha can take her revenge then and there. Logical, right?

From the previews it looks like Jack tries to stop Supercuts from killing Sasha. I don't want Boobella to die. She's really fun. Loved the gardening talk with Isaac last night!
escapetochg
No no Boobella can not die! Maybe Natasha can go. She is so frecking boring and hasn't done anything interesting in a while.

Can someone help me to remember what happened on Natasha's wedding day when she was on Dynasty?? Its been a long long time since that has been on and with all these reality shows we have to be subjected to my brain cells are slowly dying off.
dubbel zout
Catherine Oxenburg was marrying the prince of Moldavia. I think the gunmen burst in at the reception (or maybe it was the ceremony, I forget) and mowed down the entire room. They showed everyone with their eyes closed and spattered with blood. It was a season cliffhanger, so you didn't know who would survive. Good times.
escapetochg
Thank you for the recap Dubbel! Nothing like recycled story lines.
run4thehills
Anybody else get a vibe that michael and caitlyn are gonna get it on at some point in the near future? Would certainly make things more complicated and messy for Jack if his sister gets involved with Michael!! Dang, but if she ain't a little ho!! And on a totally superficial level, Jack and Julia are so puuuurty together. :)
escapetochg
I thought Caitlin was going to jump on Michael at any minute. She is probably lonely since she has lost 2 men in the last couple of weeks. Michael seemed said when he was talking about Medusa with her. The Medusa story sounded like his own sad life one without any friends.

I personally am sick and tired of Julia. She is grating on my nerves. Jack and Boobella now that is one hot couple.
dubbel zout
Caitlin puzzles me. Besides being Jack's sister, what exactly is her function? The boyfriend rated a mention last night, but doesn't Jack know he's dead? And I thought she was going to throw Michael on the couch and go at it too. All those flirty side glances. Is this an anvil? Or is Caitlin there just so that Supercuts can threaten her to keep Jack in line?
MulletorHater

WHOA! You know, I thought I was crazy when I saw those two standing there. I found myself asking, "What if ..." They definitely seemed to have some chemistry. That's when it dawned on me that Supercuts seems to have chemistry with everyone except Julia.
escapetochg
Oh how true. Supercuts and Julia just NO chemistry what so ever.

I can't wait til tonight. Instead of white wedding it might just be Bloody Bloody Wedding ala soap opera style.
soccered
Did Ryan and Andre have some kind of relationship? Ryan seemed like he was ready to take Andre to bed. Kinda hot.
Bill C
Ryan and Andre had a one-nighter (offscreen) a few weeks ago. Andre's pretty much been avoiding Ryan ever since.
soccered
I thought that was him. I seem to recall an episode where a guy visited Andre and talked about "what happened between them" and Andre seemed really uncomfortable. I thought Ryan was gay the moment I saw him in tonight's episode and was surprised to see he had a girlfriend. Good looking guy, though.
Simon Williams
Ryan has a girlfriend on the show now? I thought he was out to everyone.

I haven't seen the show in a while. It sounds like they've almost entirely dropped the story after it was fairly important in the earlier episodes. Very odd pacing.

I wonder if Andre and Ryan are ever going to make this up. The opening credits have Andre with a knife on Ryan, don't they? I hope that doesn't mean they will come to a bad end.
mandragor
I missed the first 1/2....but I can't imagine Ryan had a gf on the show. more likely was Melanie, the roommate.

How heinous were those bridesmaid dresses?

ETA: Can anyone give me a quick recap of the first half? When I started watching, the girls were in their bridemsaid dresses and hanging out w/ Julia (not in her dress yet) and Ryan...talking about finding the kitchen or something. Lots of wedding yadayada and supercuts bitching at Jack. Anything important happen before that? More of Julia waffling about all of this?
Bill C
Actually, no...it was almost entirely The Waffle Show. Except for one scene where Supercuts thought he saw the very dead Gabrielle standing in a doorway...
Prettyeyes
I personally am sick and tired of Julia. She is grating on my nerves. Jack and Boobella now that is one hot couple.

Not to me. Jack deserves somebody who's sane, which Boobella's not, to put it mildly.

I thought Ryan was gay the moment I saw him in tonight's episode and was suprised to see he had a girlfriend.

Ryan has a girlfriend on the show now?

If y'all are referring to the Black chick, she's Julia's best friend, not Ryan's girlfriend, so he's still gay.
MulletorHater
Alfred was looking mighty fine last night in his tux. And I loved the courtly manners!

I still don't get Julia's deal. Okay, for the first time that I could recall, she actually said she loved Michael. Yet, she looked positively nauseated and conflicted last night. Meanwhile, she's still determined to go through with it. She couldn't even fake the funk with her stepdaughter-to-be last night when the latter asked if she was taking their last name.

I know that Boobella is homicidal and 1 french fry short of a Happy Meal, but I guess there are varying degrees of madness because from what I saw, Julia doesn't seem wrapped too tight herself.

Supercuts' vision of his dead wife: Creepy! Are we supposed to believe that there are things that actually frighten him and that maybe he has a bit of a conscience?
Bill C
Either that, or just that bitch is crazy....
escapetochg
Come on Boobella is fun. Fun and crazy makes the story interesting.

Boring=
Julia/too wishy washy
Andre/gay man with communication issues
Natasha/cold as ice

Bring back the dead wife, Supercuts needs to fess up to what he did to her so his conscience can be clear, as well us to give us a clue as to what the heck happened to her.
mandragor
Except for one scene where Supercuts thought he saw the very dead Gabrielle standing in a doorway...
Bummer!! Wish I'd seen this!

Re:
Bring back the dead wife, Supercuts needs to fess up to what he did to her so his conscience can be clear, as well us to give us a clue as to what the heck happened to her.
.......She ain't comin' back. Here's what happened (click on next set of spoiler tags if you want to know--don't if you don't!

Click at own peril:
So Michael rigged the car to have Gabrielle killed. The kids were NOT supposed to be there--neither one of them, which is probably apparent by now. So the car crashes, flips, etc. Caroline is alive, Nick is dead. Gabrielle is......mostly dead. The crash doesn't kill her. So das goons come along to finish the job. I didn't see that part of the scene shot so I don't know if it's Natasha or Boris or someone else. My hunch would be Natasha b/c bitch gots it bad for supercuts, but anyway, Mrs. Supercuts is injured but survives and they finish the job. By strangulation, I believe--it's been several months.
dubbel zout
Noooooooooooooo!!!! I don't want Boobella to be dead! She was a great soapy villain. Julia I don't much care about, especially mandragor's spoilers are correct.

Todd Cahoon needs to work on his grief acting.
run4thehills
Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!! Bye bye Sasha!!! <pouts>...kinda gonna miss her, she was over the top fun.
MulletorHater
NOOOOOOO! WAAAAAHHHH!

Could someone give me a quick recap of what happened last night? My local station was showing a freaking college basketball game and the show didn't air until the wee hours of the morning.

Thanks in advance!
dubbel zout
Boobella gave RandomWaiter a poison (from a flower, no less) to give to Julia via a glass of champagne. Julia starts to feel woozy and lies down. Everyone hovers. Jack and Supercuts beat up the waiter to get the info, then Jack goes to Boobella's house to try to find the flower so that Julia's dad can make the antidote (I know, you just have to go with it). The clock is ticking, of course.

Natasha rags on Supercuts to tell the wedding guests something, because "we're already 10 minutes late." Has she never been to a wedding before? Anyway, Supercuts says Julia isn't feeling well, the wedding will be rescheduled, yadda yadda. Boris tells Natasha he hates weddings, Natasha agrees (big surprise on both counts).

Jack gets into Boobella's Fortress of Boobs and finds the flower--he e-mails a picture to Julia's dad--but is caught by Boobella and Isaac. Fortunately Isaac is a fairly incompetent henchman and Jack is able to disarm him and leave. He brings the flower to the lab and Julia's dad and Christine work frantically on the antidote. It seems they're too late, because Julia is fading fast and the injection doesn't seem to help. Jack tries mouth-to-mouth (Supercuts is oddly unfazed by this; shouldn't he, the fiance, be doing that?), then CPR, all for apparent naught. Julia's dad starts to cry, Supercuts storms out, and Jack does a bad impression of trying to cry.

Meanwhile, Boobella has arrived to gloat. Supercuts isn't in the mood, so he pulls out a gun. Jack has interrupted his grief to tell Michael not to kill Sasha, but Michael won't listen and puts a couple of slugs into Boobella. RIP, Sasha. You were a great villainess.

We end with Jack trying to sob hysterically over Julia's dead body, but previews aren't clear if Julia is really dead or just temporarily dead. Boobella, however, is sadly really dead.

Did I leave anything out?
Bill C
No, that's about it, dubbel. Minor nitpick, though: Supercuts ended up with Isaac's pistol when Jack jumped him--damn, is Isaac wearing a Cobra T-shirt under his suit?--and that's what he shot Sasha with.

And now here's a flashback of Jack toking up on Smylex...er, grieving over Julia...yeah, that's it...grieving...right.
escapetochg
Wahhhhh I am still trying to get over the grief of Boobella dying.

Did anyone notice that the poison flower Boobella was touching was different than the flower that Jack took to Alfred to inspect?

Why didn't they just ask Julia if she had had a drink of anything then they wouldn't have had to waste so much time with a "cure." I have to wonder if Julia will come back to life on Friday for a cliff hanger?

Sob I have to grab another box of Kleenex because not only is Boobella dead but the soap I imagine is ending too.
dubbel zout
I have way too much free time on my hands today, so I took a look at the MyNetwork Web site. Casper Van Dien and Catherine Oxenburg have a production company called Holy Cow Entertainment, "founded with a unique vision to produce socially responsible, quality family entertainment with the intention of uplifting and transforming people."

I wonder how WOM fits into this "unique vision"? Hee!
escapetochg
Dubbel I had read that too. God I hope that their next project they will both have personalities.

Does this mean that Julia is still alive?

WATCH OVER ME
Jan 25, 9/8 c - Aftermath (Julia’s Story)
Follow Julia as she narrowly escapes her death and discovers her true love through the events of her past.
mandragor
Well she clearly isn't dead--there's tons of footage of her (in the yellow dress running, etc.) in all the promos that we've yet to see.

I have to say--perhaps I'm just blinded by the Todd--but I actually didn't mind the Jack grief. Worked for me.

But seriously? Worst, lamest "CPR" ever. A navy seal would know better. Anyone who's ever watched ER once knows better.
run4thehills
Um, gotta snicker at the fact that most of us are more upset at Boobella dying than Julia(like she's REALLY dead, pfft)...tee hee. Seriously though, this show is not academy award winning material, it's a SOAP. I take it for what is is.....total fluff....and i am loving it!!!!!!!!!
