Which reminds me, have we seen the last of Isaac? I liked the idea of him and Jack working together to bring Michael down.
1) I certainly hope not, b/c he is one of the really great things about this show
2) I don't think so....there are some promo scenes featuring him that aired last week.

Ok, that ending last night made my day. I was rolling! Between Natasha's pathetic attempt to seduce Supercuts: "Michael, if there's anything you need. ANYTHING AT ALL." He looked at her like "why would I want someone who is more man than I am?", as Natasha did her stiff about-face! and marched out of the room.
Then the final scene with Ryan sauntering into Foolia's living room to save Jack's hide: (to Robot Andre) "So sweetie, is there something you'd like to tell (Supercuts)?" Or something to that effect. I had tears in my eyes. That was a good one. And the look on Supercuts face went from amusement to WTF? to disbelief, while stone-faced Andre didn't even cut a sideways glance Ryan's way and poor Jack... just caught in the middle of all that madness. Everyone's expressions were priceless.
I had to rewind and play that scene a couple of times. lol.

when is Supercuts going to wake up to the fact that Natasha is pining for him?
At the very end of the very last episode. Natasha will be cradling a dying Supercuts in her arms, and he'll tell her he's sorry he never looked in her direction. Then he'll croak and Natasha will squeeze out a tear or two. Then she'll realize he left her nothing, and she'll toss his sorry ass away and go find her a nice guy who's into whips and chains. They'll live happily ever after in their love dungeon.

Feb 14, 2007 @ 11:02 am
Yes, I think it was Isaac too for several reasons:
1) It looked like him
2) He fits the profile - "an enemy of Michael" (remember what Jack said when the lightbulb went on in his head)
3) Jack told Julia he needed to go home (as opposed to spending the night with her) to take care of what he needed to do (which was unframe himself) (he kept his specific plans vague, for Julia's sake, I imagine)
4) He had the camera set up to catch the action as it unfolded. I'm guessing he will edit out that snarky bit at the beginning.
5) It looked too planned. Why would Jack be answering his door so unguarded - and at precisely the moment he had the camera pointed to the door to capture all the action.
I think Jack went to Isaac (whom everyone thinks is dead anyway) and got him to go along with "the plan". Don't think Isaac would have any qualms about it, since he hates Michael and owes Jack a favor. But probably Isaac was somewhat disguised so that he wouldn't be immediately recognizable in the camera image and also so as not to implicate Jack - since Jack was supposed to have killed him in the first place.

It's nice that they're making Andre being gay an issue only for Andre. No one else could care less, as it should be. I'd've never thought a cheesy telenovela would be more socially advanced than a lot of the stuff on prime-time TV today.
So Caitlin is finally letting a few synapses pop and figuring out hey, maybe Steve didn't ditch her after all. Better late than never, I suppose.

The whole Andre thing actually is incredibly matter-of-fact, isn't it? He's a gay, self-loathing assassin...and that's it. No other quirks. Everybody knows it now, and nobody really cares. In the middle of all the other BSC stuff going on it's so...real. Sticks out like a sore thumb, but hey.

Word. There still time for something terrible to happen but I'm plesantly surprised Ryan hasn't turned out to be yet another 'dead and lonely gay man' character.
CVD is so good in this role, I'm trying to decide if he's grown as an actor or just is perfectly suited to playing a tense, emotionally stunted, repressed character.

You and me both! I nearly fell to the floor in a dead faint at least twice last night when Alfred stepped to Michael! Then I found myself ducking because I just knew Boris was going to slit his throat or something. When it didn't happen, I felt myself passing out again. I wonder how Nekevaye or whatever his name, "the frenchman", would react if he knew he was eating Sasha's flesh. I have been watching watch over me and wicked wicked games since about the 22nd or 26th episodes. I guess lots more bad karma will come to Michael/Supercuts for 'ingesting'her actual flesh. Really stupid, then her curse can allow her to completely possess his body. So, does Andre/Boris butcher her body then? Sad, but Andre and Ryan's relationship reminds me of a few gay couples i know, been in relationship like that, where one guy is more dominant and smacks the other around. Painful to watch, just as is Blythe abusing Lani.
I foresaw that ending too, with Michael dead and Jack and Julia being Caroline's mom. Melanie does need serious help. I could see Eric hooking up with Caitlin too. They would look cute together. But he is meant to be the male bimbo too. He's nice to look at. Ok, did Caroline give it to Supercuts or what?! Girl was on him like a little piranha: "Jack is an honorable man." "I know he didn't just hit you for no reason." "What did you do?" "Are you guilty?"
(
I SAID) "WHAT DID YOU DO??" "If you fire Jack, I will NEVER forgive you!" Little thing turned on her heels and marched out of that room like an old pro, looking like a little Natasha. (she surely must have taken more than a couple notes from old girl, too, heh, heh)
I was on the floor hollering. Between Alfred, Dr. Baisden, Jack, Julia and now Caroline, I knew Supercuts was going to say things were out of control and (want to) clamp down.

So what's going on with Andre and Ryan now? I haven't seen the show recently. Ryan seemed like a very self-assured guy, so I'd hope he isn't in an abusive relationship.
mandragor
Feb 17, 2007 @ 1:46 am
I wouldn't call Ryandre a relationship per se....Andre showed his psycho side and threatened to kill him, knocked him around a little (for outing him,) and Ryan still thinks he's potentially project material. Ryan, WTF! Will be interesting to see how this works out--at this point I think they'd have a hard time making Boris redeemable, but Ryan is such a cutiepie and does have feelings for him, so I look forward to seeing what happens.
Even though there was the physical altercation (aside from all the thuggery for hire, that is)--not at all okay sure--I'd say the most abusive thing here is Andre's self-loathing.
Caroline ROCKED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's been "watching over" this shiz longer than we knew and has picked up both some persuasion skills, AND started to catch on.... She will be one of the final linch-pins in the end I bet--maybe not helping J&J (& co, now!) exactly?, but I bet there will have to be a clear CHOICE between dear old dad and the good guys....and she will choose the latter. Got to stick it to supercuts in the one place it would hurt if he had a heart before he goes.
I foresaw that ending too, with Michael dead and Jack and Julia being Caroline's mom. Melanie does need serious help. I could see Eric hooking up with Caitlin too. They would look cute together. Not sure if you're responding to several older posts here....do you mean that Melanie needs help with her acting? I HEARTILY concur;) Yeah, I saw a nice chemistry between Eric and Caitlin as well, but I think having her with 3 guys already (with a bodycount of 2 and a psychocount of 1) is enough for this series....and I think he and Natalie are supposed to get a marginally happy ending at least.
I think you can catch the recap ("previously on....") clips for the show--and perhaps the old Saturday night clip shows, which would be your better bet--on www.mynetworktv.com ? Maybe that will help.
Liked the powwow of the four at the table....it was like the beginning of the denouement..... the time has come, clock is ticking. Exciting! The actor that plays Caitlin has grown on me.

Hmm, I don't see Eric and Caitlin hooking up either, as I know that him and Melanie are supposed to be together. She's hooked up to too many guys already. I was impressed by Caroline's spine, sticking it to her dad. Mabel deserves more of a story than just kissing Jack's dad, for sure. I'm not sure, but did that actress play in the Jim Carrey movie, as Jennifer Aniston's friend. One where he gets God's powers for a week.
Oh, I do think Melanie needs a little more help with her acting. She should be better, being the age she is and all. Distressed/frazzled is one of her main looks. Too bad that both the Latina actresses, Hoolia and Melanie are limited in their skills....however I've seen much worse. The black girl has limited screen time too, Julia's friend. It is cool that Supercuts is finally getting pissed and realizing he really can't control everyone's actions. The tides (lol) are starting to turn on him.
Do ya think Boobella shagged like all the guys, including the Frenchman (nekevaye, whatever) and Michael?

Thanks escapetochg, I hope they repeat this one. It's a keeper. If anyone reads that it'll re-air somewhere post it here, or if it's available on DVD eventually.
I think if they started off with this show people would have stayed tuned in, but the way Fashion House ended was so weird and Desire was just okay I can see some viewers giving up, especially with it on every night, but this arc just rocks. It's so fast moving and it plays out so much less cheesy then the rest of them. Hope Todd Cahoon gets work elsewhere. His 5 seconds on CSI was a blur and he had no speaking role.
I loved how Friday's ended. Now finally they are ready to make their move. Bring it on. I hate for this show to end. And Casper is doing a really good job, this role is so unlike any he's done before. I know it's terrible to say this about a stone cold killer, but he sort of cracks me up how trigger happy he is. Gesh. LOVED Caroline busting her dad big time. I can't wait to watch Michael's empire crumble with him in it. BTW, it showed Jack's friend back in his apt. so where is the Japanese guy? I agree about that WickedWickedGames draws people in...it could do better in a primetime (regular fox airing). The fact that both shows air so late in slc (wwg at 12 at night and Wom at 1am) kinda bugs me. Thrown my sleep schedule off. I am not interested in devoting all that time to watching Saints and Sinners and Heiress, the 2nd looks kinda cheesy, not in a fun trash way like wickedwicked games. Just because some so-so actors in saints and sinners like Robin Givens, and Mel Harris, Maria Conchita Alonso, dont really draw me in. They kinda set the bar higher with wom and wwg, with better stories and will have to do better if they expect more viewers. I'm kinda being turned off by the continuous ads for the new shows, give me a bigger reason to care about their new series.
