Okay, odd show. A bit Sealab, a bit Venture Bros, 3 bits Stewie Griffin and a hint of Rupert Murdoch. I laughed through most of it, and then again a lot more when watching it again on the Fix. The whole corporate/marketing angle to the show is hilarious. And using the torso of Brent as a ventriliquist dummy was too funny.

I wish the Williams Street gang would quit with the random violence. It's getting really old, and I can already see this show just using it as a crutch, like almost every other new Adult Swim production.

I actually really liked it. Might have something to do with working in marketing, but I found the viciously boring corporate speak to be wildly funny. Especially with the recasting of the hot-headed executive with an actual super-villian. I always found Sealab to be very hit or miss, so gosh knows what I'll think next week, but for now, I like.

Well, I don't know what it was, but it wasn't funny or good.
I'll give it one more week to see if it manages to go anywhere, though.

Now that was okay. The latest episode I thought did a good riff of Batman's origins and did a good job of making the hero look petty. I'm now wondering how he'll do against Killface though it seems like these two would rather do other things than fight each other, really.

"X-ticles." Awesome. I'm seeing the old Sealab 2021 magic peeking from beneath the bizarre show name, and not just because the clingy reporter ("I got six bars!") seems to have the same VA as Slutty Debbie.

I like this show. What it doesn't have in awsome animation it more than makes up for with excellent writing, much like the Sealab series. Also, I'm noticing that this episode, right at the very end, gave a hint to a serialized story line. Looks like things are looking good for Dingo.

I freakin' LOVE this show! But I have to seriously disagree with the notion that things pick up in the second episode, I'm a much bigger fan of the first one right now. I must have watched that one ten times and I haven't revisited Awesome X much (except for right now) at all. I really hope Val wasn't murdered and dismembered because I love the rapport between her and Killface more than most things in the world right now.

"Send a postcard to Strunk & White."
I <3 JaQueel (sp.?) just for that. The Regis and Kelly parody was great too.
Awesome X isn't as dumb as he first appeared and has actually thought things through, plan for the Caimon [sic] Islands and all.

A jump roping squad with "Ladybug" in the title had been the guests just ahead of Killface. He was happy with the giftbag until he discovered he didn't get a fleece like they did.

It's official: This show kicks ass.
This episode was just so awesome about calling out the fact that shows sell out, and that kickass Scion TC...crap, don't show that! Stop it!

This episode....It was like Ka-Kow but then it's like Ka-Kow! Killface makes me think of what Frasier Crane would be like as a villain.

I think Frasier Crane as a villain would be more like Sideshow Bob: pompous and ineffective, rather than Killface's effectiveness despite his pomposity.

Geez, not another marketing drone/homicidal alien. Honestly, you can't throw a figurative stone on this website without hitting one of your kind. Which part is more evil?
All kidding aside, I like this show, but I'm not sure why yet. I think it's the use of the word, "Frisky."

About Stan...what happened to the weird greenish lines that I saw in the last two episodes? Orignally, I thought it was a TV glitch, then I figured Stan was a hologram. This week, no lines. Maybe one of his harumphin' clones filled in this week?

The 12-billion dollar question is: Did Xander get Killface's signature?
Simon wasn't so glum this ep. Hilarious that Killface and his crew thought "Ant Farm Keyboard" was genius. Killface and Xander appear to be intellectual equals. Speaking of "Ant Farm Keyboard," that would make a great band name.
Too bad Xander cut off their song. I really wanted to hear it!
Didn't take long for this show to hit its stride.

As a matter of fact, yes, we will be using algebra like crazy.
This show is hilarious. Funny how it's got the Sealab ratcheting absurdity vibe, but it's not really nearly as Non Sequitur-ish as that show, or quite a few others on AS (although I tend to like non sequiturs). It's actually got a fair amount of continuity to it which is kind of unusual for anything AS puts out aside from Venture Brothers and to some extent Metalocalypse... I like this show more and more each week.
