We had her radio show here in Memphis but it was pulled about a month ago. I am just glad to have my afternoon crack back in a night television show format!

I'm in Detroit and we just got WW a few months ago on the airwaves here....I love her and her NYC accent!!!

I am so excited for this. I listen whenever I can. I love that she only has three sound effects. I love the crazy trashy advice hour. She is fantastic, can't wait for the premiere. And even though it's old I really would love to see the infamous Whitney Houston interview again, because that is freaking classic. And don't forget it is what it is.

He's aiight. Can't believe that he calls some of the interns "donkeys" though. He also looks a bit weird.
I still don't know who Goose is or what he looks like. Wendy keeps referring to him on the radio show but no dice.

Wendy has a great lead in before her show airs on October 20th. She will be interviewing select girls from Flavor of Love 2 at the beginning of the week. I think it builds hype for her show. I hope she doesn't disappoint.

I moved from the Philly/S Jersey area last year and I regret it every time I get in my car after work b/c we don't get her down in S FL. SUX! I love her even though she can work my nerves sometimes.
Friday at 11:30 I will be on my couch. Both Mr. Nice and I. He misses her show, too.

I loves me some Wendy Williams. My clique at my job doesn't miss a second of this ghettofab show. That being said.. I think I will stick to listening to TWWE on the radio then TV. Everything is so edited, and I don't need to see the whole Lionel Ricthie video before he comes to the studio.
One thing I realized...That studio covered in Pink is tacky as hell.

I'm going to have to co-sign that. I'd already heard the Ice-T interview. Nothing was added to it by seeing Coco's slutastic calendar. In fact, they cut the most interesting parts of the interview. They could have picked one of 17 calls that was better than the two they chose for the advice segments. Lionel? Crickets. And please stop lying about your daughter, L. Everyone knows it's drugs, anorexia, or a combination of the two.
I think it's great that she got a TV show, but for those of us that already listen 5 days a week, it's like eating leftovers.

Personally, I think the purpose of the show is to expose those who currently don't get the Wendy Williams Experience on their local radio stations to the show.
Can I also say that Lionel Richie is the coolest human being alive? I seriously love him after seeing him on TWWE. I think I am gonna go buy his new album.
Looks like the show is gonna combine TWWE with WWioF. I am down with that.

I heard the Dice Clay interview when it aired on the radio. Drama, drama, drama. Chambermaid came for him in a big way. If it hadn't been for that bit of spice, it would have been a very boring interview.
So, how long until we see little Kevin on the show? I'm dying to know what that kid looks like. Someone once told me that two uglies make a pretty, so maybe he's actually cute.

I just moved from New Jersey to Baltimore a few months ago and they don't have WW down here so the VH1 show is like a little slice of home. I was never a huge fan but I did listen to her driving home from work on the weekdays.
They have that wack a$$ Michael Basedon (sp?) on TWO radio stations down here. Arg! I wish Wendy could get one of those spots.

She is a nice change from Michael Baisden, though. I can't stand listening to him all the time saying, "Ev'ry thang is ev'ry thang".....grates!

They need to change the sad music. The first time I heard it, all I could think of was a speakeasy. I had visions of Prohibition, gun molls, and men with their hair conked. And I can't get that image out of my head. Bottom line, the "sad" music does not evoke sadness. That's one of my nitpicks with the show.
All of the other sound effects are hilarious, but I think sometimes Goose and Hollywood are a little too quick on the crickets button. Not everything they think is boring is boring to the listeners. And trying to hear over the crickets is very annoying.

ghettofabman, I don't think that's going to happen.....at least not yet. Wendy is having a party to celebrate the show in the very near future and Bootz is hosting it.
I was hoping that Mizz New York would be invited to the experience, but she hasn't been.
For those who listen in NYC, I think they should have more footage of Wendy when she does the Bonus Hour....what do ya'll think?

This week's episode was MUCH better than last week's. I love how they pause the show to insert definitions of Wendy's lingo. I LOVED Wendy's red carpet interview with Neil Patrick Harris. She needs to get him on the show. And I LOVE VH1 FOREVER for airing Wendy's anti-Dice rant.
BTW, the Diceman looks TERRIBLE. He needs to lose about 50 pounds and dye his sideburns.

Yes, I could see Wendy's point about Dice's comment on black women but I also felt Charlamagne was way out of line. I mean just who the hell is he? I don't care if you are trying to "shock" people or whatever Wendy is trying to do, you do not let your flunkies be downright rude to your guests on the show and he was just rude. Dice couldn't say anything for him flapping his lips.
Then again I don't like Wendy Williams either. I am not into the whole ghetto fab wannabe but coming across as ghetto ass broke.

I live an hour away from Memphis. It used to be on 98.9 I think. Which used to be a rap station. But they have just changed it.

It was indeed on 98.9 and it was pulled because the station was sold over one weekend last month. Now that station just plays all kinds of music with no particular genre as its core. Personally, I miss Smoooooth Jazz....98.9!

His beef was as soon as he sat down Charlamagne started talking about him being washed up, never having heard of him, etc. Everytime Dice tried to say something Charlamagne cut him off and said he doubted he'd ever sell out an arena, etc. Dice finally busted in with who the hell was he, an ex-con who had never done anything with his own life so he wanted to basically hate on someone who had.

Hey, is your radio station's tag line: Non-Stop hip hop? I remember Wendy clowning some radio station in which she had to say Non stop hip hop and how she couldn't even say #1 or something like that. I think it was this one.
Bootz was an ass on the radio on Friday. She kept talking about how she loved the fame, she lives for the fame, and how the fame makes her a better person. Plus she was talking about how everybody comes up to her and loves her cause she kept it real... I'm thinking to myself bitch with the koolaid stains in her hair please! I hope they air this interview, so I can see this HAM(HotAssMess) of a girl in the studio.

I'm guessing that Artie was fired. He was there one day and gone the next. Somewhat like Skeletor (Wendy's DJ from waaaaaay back in the day). She didn't discuss his dismissal, other than to hint at some drama/backstabbing having to do with the interns. Artie had a message board, but he refused to talk about the circumstances surrounding his departure from the show, and any posts regarding it were summarily REMOVED. I have no idea what he's doing now, but a quick Google search turned up a myspace page. I can't check it out right now, but someone else can, and report back on the contents.

In terms of Miss Artie, from what I remember Wendy said something about him wanting to be "an actor" and he left the show to pursue that, but she wouldn't go into much more. I smell a termination with a threat of lawsuit.

I heard a little bit of the Monique interview yesterday...Wendy and Mo have had beef for years and the interview was supposed to squash it. They started off good hugging and joking around but then Wendy kept making sly comments about Monique's weight and the food in her cookbook...then Mo said Wendy's champagne tastes like cough syrup!
Mo left the room and never came back...I think it was wrong of Wendy and her people (they kept playing the cow sound effects) to make fun of Monique to her face if they were supposed to be making up!!

Charlemagne irritates me...I don't know if it is his mousey look or the nerve to go by "Charlemagne" on the show...I seriously thought he was gay at first....I will still think he is suspect...and definitely agree with his short man syndrome...

Did you see the bit with the caller who told Wendy that she looked like a man? Surprisingly, she took it in stride. She lauhed and started posing in different angle to see what angle, if any, made her look more feminine.
