Technically, Nnenna is from the U.S. She was born in the U.S. and only went to Nigeria when she was what, two? She came back when she was twelve? So, she's spent the most of her years on US soil. Therefore, Brooke's comment was ignorant.
Nnenna spent 10 years of her life in Nigeria, she has the accent, and I'm sure Brooke or any of the other contestants really know or care about Nnenna living here for the first two years of her life. With that accent and the way she presents herself, you could've fooled me.

Brooke's "back to Africa" comment was not acceptable. That type of slur is in fact usually used against people who are actually from the place they are told to go back to. For example, saying that someone should "go back to China" or "go back to Mexico" is not less offensive if the target is actually from the place mentioned versus not being from there. Such comments are very loaded, and people shouldn't be flippant about saying them. Frustration is not an excuse. I wouldn’t be surprised if this comment is brought up in next week’s episode, forcing a Typrah moment.

I'm sure the twirling challenge and challenge winner were only happy coincidences after Jaundice's twirl-happy performance on the commercial last week, just as it was a total coincidence in S4 that Kahlen had to pose in a grave right after her friend died. Sure.
Ah, more product-placed jewelry. Four seasons in a row now, isn't it, Tyrant?
Fugronda no longer makes me recoil in horror in these newer confessionals, but she's still ugly, especially with a bare midriff. Eat something, please.

If it were up to me, I would have gotten rid of Nnenna...she's really starting to irritate the hell out of me...and she's such a bitch! I can't believe she was doubling over laughing at Brooke's commercial at last weeks judging...as if her commercial didn't SUCK ASS!!!!
Joanie must be a bitch too, then, because she was laughing right along with Nnenna. Speaking of which...Nnenna and Joanie? All is forgiven. Brooke sucks. I was more offended by her smartass chemist comments than "go back to Africa" (I didn't think she was aware or smart enough to use it in a racist way either). "What, you're supposed to be a chemist, and you can't understand the concept of using the phone?" How condescending. She's such an insecure ball of nerves.
Having said that, her photo rocked, as did Joanie's. Danielle's was good, Jade's (ugh) was good, and I thought Leslie's was ok. The rest were blah.
Mr. Jay? Some white girls can dance, some black and Latina girls can't. In fact, some men are orange. Stop stereotyping!
Jay, since you obviously want to be a woman, the least you could do is get a freakin' perm...bitch had more peas on the side of her head than a can of Del Monte!!
That's his natural hair. I appreciate the fact that he hasn't straightened it. Some of us think our natural hair is beautiful. To that, I say go Ms Jay!

I know. When I saw Jade take the first twirl, I was like, okay. Then when she continued to twirl I was waiting for her ass to topple of the runway from being so dizzy. Damn! I think Joanie should have won that challenge. She's been kind of meh to me, but I think she rocked that catwalk.

Ten years in Nigeria; fourteen years in the US. Accent or no accent, she's still an American. And even if she weren't, it's still an ignorant comment to make. My mother (actually, my entire family) is from West Africa. Mom's been here since '77 and is a naturalized citizen. She has a slight accent. If someone were to tell her "Go back to Africa," I'm sure she would take offense to it despite the fact that she's spent more of her years here, on US soil, than she has on African soil.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was bored with this episode. At this point, I don't care who wins (as long as it's not Jade). I did wanted Brooke to go home just so I could stop hearing her whine. If she's gonna let Nnenna throw her off of her game, what's she going to do when (or should I say if) she has photographers and agents and clients telling her that she sucks?
Speaking of Brooke. I don't think she meant the "go back to Africa" comment in a racist way. If Nnenna was from France, Brooke would have said "go back to France."
However, that statement is such a racially cahrged statement that Brooke should have known better and kept her mouth shut.

Joanie laughed hard at Brooke last week. Didn't Nnenna laugh hard, open her mouth wide, hunch over, and clap her hands? I might be biased since I like Joanie and dislike Nnenna, but if Brooke was already hurt by her egging her on and being totally ignorant during the commercial last week, and annoyed by the phone, while Joanie has been treating her fine, it's no big shocker that Brooke focused her anger towards Nnenna.
I liked this episode. Seeing Jade win a competition sucked, but I still didn't like her picture.
No big loss to me that Leslie left, even though she got an unfair edit. Least screentime ever for a contestant who made it to the top 8?
I'm glad Brooke stayed, I thought her photo rocked. Overall, though, I'm not a fan of the photoshoots this cycle. I'm enjoying the cycle MUCH more than last cycle, though.

Jade practicing her dance moves cracked-my-shit-up, you hear me? OMG! I'm so angry at the others for letting her win that diamond. She doesn't deserve it. Everyone keeps saying, "I know I need to step up my game...blah, blah, blah." Then, they croak. I also knew Leslie was going to bite the dust, but in my mind, she was totally forgettable. (Except maybe for her signature "I need to take a dump" walk.) The only one's that are stepping up their game are the bitches of the house, and Furonduh. (She's not a bitch, but she's also not going to win...there's no way...but at least she's trying to be better.)
Frankly, I thought Sara should have gone this time. She doesn't seem like she really wants to be there, I don't care what she says to the contrary.
And I personally don't think Brooke was being racist about her "back to Africa" remark to Nnenna...she's too dumb to muster up that kind of persona. She's just too stupid and naive to realize how badly that remark can be interpreted. And Brooke, if you go around crying all of the time, YOU'RE A FREAKIN CRY BABY! Even Jay M. commented on it. Shut the fuck up and grow up. If I heard somebody crying constantly, I would talk about their ass too.
I'm not mad at Jade this time through because she didn't get the hateful edit this time. And she did do the twirls just like the twirly guys showed her. I don't know why everyone else (except for Joanie) had such a hard time with it. If you're a model, at some point, you're going to have to twirl. It's not rocket science. A lot of them need a visit from the coordination fairy...stat!
Oh, and did orange Jay say that Irene Cara is white? I thought I heard him say to Danielle to at least try to be like Irene Cara since she said she dances like a white girl. Was I hearing that conversation wrong?

First, Tyra calling my girl, Danielle, "ashy" then the guest judge saying Sara is like a big linebacker who can't tackle.
How convenient that the twirling episode comes after Jade twirls her ridiculous ass into the bottom 2 last week.
I love, love, LOVE Danielle's commentaries. Her description of Nnenna's hogging the phone? Priceless.
I didn't feel racism had anything to do with Brooke's comments but I can appreciate how others can easily take offense. Her father comforting her was very sweet. She seems like a genuinely nice girl. Poor thing. This is NOT the industry for her.

Jade had the most twirl-tastic outfit, but Joanie's was the hottest and she did the most with what she got, unlike Jade who I think blinded some of the observers with her "Cape of Doom."
Brooke is the "basketcase" this season I think. One of Tyra's special projects that will undoubtedly be dumped unceremoniously at some point.
Nnenna still bores me.
What did Jade say to Furonda when they were practicing "disrobing walk", that's cake? Is my age showing in that I have never heard that before? And the brushing off the shoulders when her photo was shown, uggh. But I don't want her gone just yet. This show needs a bitch. Though, I am sure there are many candidates to replace her.

I'm not arguing that Brooke wasn't ignorant, but here's the thing. Nnenna doesn't try to back away from the African designation at all. I don't see her insisting she not be called an african princess/african chemist etc etc etc. Now personally I don't think it's necessary for people to walk around screaming "America love it or leave it" but Nnenna is not exactly saying " Hey, I was born here, stop calling me African".
It's not cool to say " go back to Africa" but at the same time, I kinda got that going back to Africa was Nnenna's long term plan.
And Jade needs to get over herself. She's not the front runner and she's too old.

The runway challenge didn't seem at all fair to me. Jade had on a swing cape, while everyone else had some sort of draping that would be really difficult to swing, but oh well. The 25,000 ring was pretty though.
Nicer than a bunch of Sears clothing, yes! And I totally agree with this one. I think she was over the top and the outfit did most of the work for her -- my vote was with Joanie on that one. Jade hit people in the face! Jade did well with the dancing I must say -- however, she still looks like an ElfQuest elf. She looks like
Dewshine. Not in a good way.
(actually this is what I was thinking of)Also, Danielle needs to fix herself up more for the judgings. It's down the the wire, now.
As big of a bitch that C3's Camille was, I remember her being blasted for telling the go see agent that her walk was her signature walk.
I think Tyra and co just decided they liked the sound of the words "signature walk." I could be slow, but I do not see what is so particularly "signature" about Tyra's walk, as compared with, say, Naomi Campbell's. I mean, there's only so many ways someone can WALK, people. One foot, the other foot -- most times you cannot automatically tell who someone is in silhouette by the way their walking unless they are crazily exaggerated in some way. (Or I could just be making a sweeping generalization because they annoy me so bad.)
I'm glad they're fixing Joanie's teeth -- seems the least they could do if they're going to keep bitching about it. How many weeks does this thing film for anyway? Good grief, will she have time for the swelling to go down.
And why don't they give Sara some
instructions??? Look, I'm a tall girl too, and I hated it for years -- I'm still not fond of it. Men like the 5-foot, 90-pound darlings. (It seems. :-)
But I learned how slouchy tall girls look (even taller, plus awkward) and I was taught to stand straight with actual
instructions God, I want to e-mail her. "Sara. SHOULDERS BACK! BUTT IN!" Someone should put a book on her head.
Did you guys see -- in the church, and I cannot for the LIFE of me remember which model it was, but I think it was Furonda -- where one woman was in the pew
clearly mouthing the words "Oh my god NO." ?
Harsh.

Bleh, horrible elimination IMO. I thought that Brooke should've gone home, you can't get a damn peptalk and someone to hand you a paper bag to breathe into for EVERY shoot! I knew that Leslie was going bottom two because they actually were showing her onscreen. I say my goodbyes to my favorite i suppose.
Luckily Joanie has filled that favorite spot quite nicely. She's the only one in that bunch with a sense of humor. "Work it out for God!" HA!
Brooke should've grabbed the phone when Nnenna was dialing and smack her upside her baldass head (preferably with foam coming out the sides of her mouth) and scream, "SENSITIVE?!? I'll show you fucking sensitive!!!" Alas she did not. But she is staying for another week and hopefully she'll forget to take her estrogen pills (for the she-nis)and freak out unexpectedly.

Since I don't have tivo I'm going to have to wait to see the episode again on YouTube to look over the finer points.
However Miss J gave helpful advice during the advanced runway training. Looked like hell, but we all know that's become a standard lately.
Church fashion show. Was I the only one chanting for Jade to burst into flames when she mentioned that she splashed herself with holy water?
Tyra, Jade getting younger? Get your eyes checked. She must've looked directly into Jade's eyes before she so they could do dilberations.
However the spin she did was cool.
Nnenna's picture looked good? Hmmm maybe because she really wasn't dancing and she was just posing? Anybody? Anybody?
I still don't like Nnenna's walk. Let's face it it always comes down runway at the end and if she's still walking like that. Top Model she's not.
If you think Danielle needs to look a little more fresh at panel tell her. When they said that it made me think about the Cycle 3 and Cycle 4 when they used to talk about applying make up. Sorry Naima telling them in the scramble of that first challenge after their make overs doesn't cut it. They used to push that and they also used to say a little more about how girls came in looking if they liked it and what not. You get a little bit here and there, but not as much as you used to in other seasons.
Also I find it interesting that when Jade has a bad weak some how the next week plays to her strengths. I mean come on they knew she was going to work the cape because of the way she was in the commercial. She was already doing her twirls and swirls.

I've never found Brooke attractive until tonight. I thought her photo was amazing. She was actually alluring in it. Who knew? And Afrika? I'm usually pretty sensitive (see me vs. many Apprentice seasons) but (1) I laughed when she said it because that shit was funny and (2) Nnenna was being a big 'ol bitch. I got the feeling Nnenna must talk about being from Africa quite a bit. I think Brooke was responding to Nnenna apparent sense of superiority about being from Africa. I think it didn't occur to her that a white girl was talking shit about a black girl going back to wherever she came from. I don't think her brain is that advanced. And did I mention Nnenna was being a big ol' bitch? Because she was. Being a bitch. A haughty, obnoxious, I can do whatever the hell I want because I'm better than you bitch. I don't blame Brooke one bit. Good for her.
I hate Jade. I don't care what she does that may not suck but I hate her. And Joanie definitely rocked her runway walk. I think I'm starting to love Joanie. And I liked Brooke. Huh. However, I have not gone fully over the edge as I still think Furonda is a damn alien. I don't find anything attractive about her at all. Her size is painfully thin. Her head is freakishly shaped. Her limbs are insectile. And this is ANTM-material how, now?
I'm still holding out for Danielle but she needs to step it up.

I was getting dinner out of the oven when Tyra was doing her turn turn turn walk tonight. Sounds like it was impressive - I'm sorry I missed it.
The *second* the words "go back to africa" were out of Brooke's mouth I knew exactly what the internet would be talking about for the next week. I, personally, don't really think she meant any harm by it. It's the same principle if someone constantly talked to me about how much better their old office was. "My old office smelled better, it was so much more fun, my old office had better drapes. etc" If it was so perfect then go back to your old office just so I don't have to freaking hear about it every day.

I think Joanie is a witty treat, too, and the fact that they are fixing her teeth (or she is having them done herself) bodes well, I guess. But she stripped at an amateur stripper night, and she playfully mocks her religious upbringing. Somehow I don't see CG going for that--especially not for the stripping. I think she will make the final four for sure, maybe even the top two, but I don't see CG accepting her as a spokesperson.
Sarah might have pleased CG, but she isn't learning fast enough. She is too awkward. I think she goes home soon--probably right after Brooke goes next week. But Miss Jay loves Brooke, so he will push to keep her. He used to love Sarah, but he sees to be done with her now.
Final four: Joanie, Danielle, Furonda, Nenna.
Brooke goes home next week; Sarah the week after; then Jade. Furonda after Jade; Danielle after Furonda. Nenna wins.
Or so it seems to me at the moment.

2. I need some of the crack Joanie much be smoking. Did you honestly believe her runway walk was in the same league as Jade's during the church fashion show? Bitch please! Naomi, Adriana, Gisele, Daria, and Gemma couldn't even work it out like Jade. I think Joanie is the only person in the house who recognizes that Jade a real and true competitor, and she's a little intimidated.
See, my problem with Jade's performance is that she was ALL style, NO substance. All she did was twirl around like a lunatic top, and showed no raw walking ability! Joanie, however, showed movement while maintaining a semblance of a RUNWAY walk. She showed diversity in her movement instead of just spinning around and around like a brainless idiot. Jade absolutely did NOT deserve to win; I knew she would, though, when they showed Joanie humbly explaining that she thought she deserved it. I knew there was no justice on this show!
About Joanie's "swelling"... she didn't look too bad in her interview when she was talking about how she was in the dentist's office for 12 hours. I feel really badly for her... the dentist is NOT fun... I've had a lot of orthodontic work, and it huuuuuuurts. I think she'll rebound just fine, though, and this will give her a leg up or two when it boils down to the Cover Girl shoot (if she makes it that far, which she totally deserves to).
I'm really not heartbroken over Leslie's elimination, as the girl bored the shit out of me, and I'm a sucker for good runway walkers, and she just didn't have it. HOWEVER: with the enormous emphasis that this show seems to place on the photoshoots, her elimination WAS a smidgen unfounded. Leslie has done well in all of her photo shoots except the Magazine Cover, which was at least competent. Meanwhile, Brooke (who I absolutely adore, mind you) has had some less-than-stellar photos (bald; commercial; fairy tales), and Furonda have been worse at photo shoots than Leslie. Meh! C'est la vie. As long as my precious Joanie sticks around, I am not complaining.
About Brooke's "back to Africa" comment. I completely understand how comments like "go back to [insert native country here]" is very offensive, but that was not the context that Brooke was placing it in. She was simply saying that Nnenna went WAY overboard with her whole "I'm an African Goddess" schtick, and Brooke was merely saying that, if Nnenna loves Africa so much, she should be there. I'm not saying that Brooke was necessarily RIGHT in saying that, but I don't think it was racist or overly rude. Brooke just isn't very self aware. She's cute, though!
Go away, Jade.

I don't see her insisting she not be called an african princess/african chemist etc etc etc. ... Nnenna is not exactly saying " Hey, I was born here, stop calling me African."
No kidding. (And, for the record, noting someone's foreign/foreign-born accent isn't assuming that we all sound like WASPs.) If I were to hear Nnenna strongly identify as an African American (instead of African), Texan or something else on this side of the ocean, I'd be a lot quicker to agree with the criticism of racism. In this case, it was just ignorant lameness. I've spent enough time living overseas and getting insulted as a "Yankee" by people who hate US foreign policy, so "go back where you're from" insults aren't new to me. Those kinds of comments stink, but they're not automatically racist.

I thought Brooke should've been out but I'm glad Sara hung on. Tyra's so right about Sara's whole height issue.
LESLIE, oh dear. I thought SHE had no personality. She was pretty, but what's interesting about her? It seemed like she was just sitting back and soaking in the drama. Hey, it's a TV show... you gotta throw more out than that.
I like Joanie. I don't like Jade--though her church spin did look pretty cool, better than Joanie's. I knew she'd win that competition and she'd be set at elimination.
Brooke--she really has problems expressing herself. And she looks so ordinary! At least Jade has a unique look to her, even if I don't think she's much to look at. If ordinary people get to be on ANTM, then sign my ass up!
Here's my ideal rest of season:
Next eliminated: Brooke
Then: Sara (like her but I don't think she'll bring it)
Then: Nnenna
Then: Jade
Top 3: Joanie, Furonda, Danielle
Furonda out for being too flat-chested
Danielle wins, runner up Joanie.

I've only made it through the 4th page of comments on tonight's episode, but if I don't go to bed now I won't want to get up in the morning. :)
I just wanted to say that probably 98.5% of all black people in America today, whether we got off the boat yesterday or 300 years ago, are from Africa (the rest are from the islands). So technically speaking, Brooke could make that same comment to any black person living and working in America today, and it would be just as out-of-line as it was tonight. Nnenna isn't here on a student or work visa is she? It was my understanding from the initial show that she lives in Texas and has a Bachelors degree in Chemistry.
Okay, I'm off my soap box.
I also heard Joanie's comment about the 'compeition' to become AMTM now being between her and Jade Wow. I think that Danielle is a better model than both of them put together. Is Joanie's arrogance starting to show??
Oh and I actually like Jade, I just don't think she'll win. It will most likely be between Joanie, Furonda, and Danielle.

Brooke's "Go back to Africa" comment had racist undertones IMO, although I realize she's just probably deflecting her insecurities on the more-confident Nnenna. Nnenna should stop her snickering though.
I'd be hard pressed to find anything racist in Brooke's comments. I've heard other people talk about their home country, not in Africa, and they go on and on and on until I want to tell them if it's that great, what the hell are they doing in the US.
Nnenna is damn rude. It's not her personal phone booth or cell phone.
And she's also a big bitch. I loved her in the beginning but, as Janice says, she's dead to me now. However she feels about the other hamsters, laughing at someone else during tasks is bitchy. Karma is a non-descriminating mistress, she might be looking for you sometime soon, Nnenna.

Was nnenna talking about Africa though? have we heard Nnenna going "on and on and on" about Africa? Why are people inventing stuff out of the clear blue sky to make excuses for that ignorance that came out of Brooke's mouth? Baffling. No matter HOW she meant it, it had absolutely no business coming out of her mouth. She's an ugly insecure bitch. And Brooke was harping on and on and on about Nnenna from what I saw (the limo scene anyone??) Brooke's obsessed with what Nnenna's doing and Nnenna isn't giving that girl the time of the day. she's definitely being the bigger person from what I saw. At least she doesn't resort to cheap name-calling and put-downs.

I honestly think Brooke saying "Do you know how to use a phone?" was far more demeaning than her "go back to Africa if it's so great" -- that just seemed petty and childish to me, not racist. And, like afrocentric said before, I am usually very sensitive to that! Nnenna may be (and was indeed) a phone hog, but you don't essentially call someone stupid if you want them to do what you're asking. She called Nnenna stupid while simultaneously managing to insult her profession.
Neither phrase makes Brooke look very good, mind you -- but I saved my Jaw Drop of Racism for Jay Manuel and his "make the black girls proud!" bullshit.

I totally agree...she is morphing into a bald, shorter version of ASSFACEJADE!! *whimper*

If they had a clip on Nnenna calling Brooke a "cry baby" they would have showed it for sure! All we saw was Nnenna saying "Brooke cries everyday" What the F? That's all the got on her? I never saw Nnenna talking or bragging about Africa being so great.....where was that clip? Brooke's comments about Africa were uncalled for and unacceptable. It reminds me of Whites back in the days telling blacks to "go back to Africa"!
You took the words right out of my mouth. I just don't get it. Either the editing is so lopsided or Brooke is extremely insecure. Or, it could be both. Brooke is one insecure cry baby. She reminds me of the tennis player--Amelie Mauresmo--hard looking on the outside; but chokes under extreme pressure. Then, when she sees Nnenna laughing, she blames Nnenna for all of her problems.
Others are laughing; but she's mostly intimidated by Nnenna because Nnenna is quiet, reserved and confident. She's an established chemist; and refuses to stoop to Brooke's level and start calling her names. Thus the intimidation begins without Nnenna having to open her mouth. Brooke needs to resolves some issues in her life.

I didn't like how Jay was telling the girls to just dance and forget they're in a photo shoot because the judges later told the girls they shouldn't forget they're in a photo shoot. I blame Jay because he kept goading the girls into proving they could dance. If this were a video, that would be appropriate, but still photos are a totally different story, especially with, uh, crumping.
Brooke should have stood by her outburst on all fronts. Don't go to another girl and sound all whiny when you were 100% in the right. Nnenna doesn't know how to listen or treat other people with respect. Then again, what are other people going to do, spank you? However, I don't agree with the "go back to Africa" remark. Brooke probably didn't mean it in a racist way, but that phrase shouldn't come out of a considerate, thinking person's mouth.
I feel bad for Joanie based on the previews. That looked painful!
The turntable thing was definitely neat. Not exactly the most useful skill in a model's repertoire, but neat nonetheless.
Jade lucked out in the challenge. She had more fabric to twirl, an actual cape, AND it wasn't attached to the dress. That's the only reason she could pull off the Batman effect. Leslie had next to nothing to work with and from what I could tell, the rest of the girls got shafted, too.

To me, Brooke was already in the wrong when she confronted Nnenna being catty and condescending. Not only was she calling her dumb, but insulting her profession. I was surprised that Nnenna even kept her cool at that. I don't blame her for ignoring Brooke.

Next eliminated: Brooke
Then: Sara (like her but I don't think she'll bring it)
Then: Nnenna
Then: Jade
Top 3: Joanie, Furonda, Danielle
Furonda out for being too flat-chested
Danielle wins, runner up Joanie.
This actually seems like it could be a likely scenerio, in my opinion. Jade and Furonda may switch places, however, since Jade is the resident bitch of the house. Furonda has been bringing it the last few weeks, but I could see Tyra pulling a where-is-the-fire-we-saw-before thing by the time the Final 4 rolls around.

Leslie has done well in all of her photo shoots except the Magazine Cover, which was at least competent.
Gotta agree here. When they showed her portfolio at the end, I was mildly surprised at how consistently beautiful they were. She really knows how to position her body, from the delicate hands in her mannequin shoot and future careers shot, to her torso twist in this week's crump shot, and even the lean in her provocative magazine cover (which I think, among all the pictures that week, is the only cover-worthy shot, albeit for a magazine like Maxim - but, still). And her CG commercial from last week - it's funny, because her posture/walk there was hands down the best of all the other girls, and she also engaged the party-goers. What really brought her down was her runway walk, though, but I still don't think she should've gotten eliminated over some of the others.
Jade did not deserve to win that challenge - twirling does not equal walking! And were girls in those church runway shows of yore anywhere as over-the-top as she was? I understand that, aside from selling the clothes, runway shows are supposed to set a mood, but Jade just gave a silly, silly impression.
Danielle looked more beautiful than she ever has at the shoot. Normally, I like more natural looks, but Danielle pulled that heavy makeup look off. Too bad it didn't come off as well in the photo.
Still pulling for Furonda, but I really doubt she'll win. If you took, say, Sara's looks and combined it with Furonda's everything else (photo shoot savvy/body awareness, brains, personality, even her signature walk), now that would be SUPERmodel.
In general, I really liked this shoot and thought everyone did at least well. Sure, it was Payless, but it reminded me of edgier shoe brands, like K-Swiss and Skechers, which you do see advertised in high-profile magazines. Plus, Payless rocks - quality shoes at low, low prices!

How sadly funny. Jade spins down the "runway" like the star of the all-drag Sunset Boulevard and ends up winning. Joanie got cheated.
Brooke whines and pouts and basically schlumps her way through another round.
Loved the fact that Tyrant was wearing those dance rounds on the bottom of her shoes to do her perfect turn. Nice cheat Tyrant. But the camera managed to still catch the edge despite the wanky angle.
Jade is looking younger? Really Tyrant? Maybe the mirror she keeps in the attic, because no matter how much airbrushing your folks did on that payless add, she looked like Joanie's grandmother.
Joanie and Nneena are the only two that should still be getting those over-sized polaroids at this point. And send Joanie home already as well.

For all the talk of the Brooke/Nnenna racism charges, I thought Mr. Jay's repeated remarks about black vs. white and dancing ability were way more offensive than anything that came out of Brooke's mouth.

See, my problem with Jade's performance is that she was ALL style, NO substance. All she did was twirl around like a lunatic top, and showed no raw walking ability!
I know. Jade was imitating a whirling dervish on the runway (no offense to whirling dervishes or anything). There was nothing to her runway "walk" beyond twirl-twirl-twirl, hit some folks with my cape, twirl-twirl-twirl.

I also heard Joanie's comment about the 'compeition' to become AMTM now being between her and Jade Wow
I actually took that as Joanie saying that it was between the two of them in that specific challenge, as she knew from the Jared Gold show that those two were the two front-runners in terms of runway. *Shrug*

BakerBaker, you actually jogged my memory of the Nnenna/Brooke encounter. Although I still think Brooke was right to say something to Nnenna, I remember that Brooke said all the wrong things. "Don't you understand the concept of a phone?" Brooke tried to turn it into a stupid/smart issue when it's really a greedy/considerate issue. It was insulting right off the bat, so I can understand why Nnenna shut down.
