Leslie's struts as if she has 50 pounds of shit in her ass with the tip constantly poking out, making her walk the way she does. Furthermore, she bored the shit out of me, glad she's gone.

She also needs to keep her feelings for Nnenna to herself if she wants to remain in the competition. And Nnenna? There is nothing to talk about to the point of hogging the phone, girl! I think the producers should allot the girls a two hour minimum each day, and if it goes over that time then they get eliminated.

Bah. At least Brooke's still here. :) With all that camera time she had that episode, I was sure she was going home.

I thought Brooke was gone tonight only until the judges liked her photo (which was great). I really thought Sara going home because she struggled all night.

And I'm usually sensitive about comments like that../

I was afraid Brooke was leaving, after all the screen time she got. I don't have anything against Leslie, and I think she's pretty, but I've been bored by her since week 1.

I thought Joanie's church runway performace was the best. She seemed to have a connection with the audience. Jade's only connection was when she kept slapping people with her bat wings. Also, pull up your pants, woman!

I loved Joanie's and Brooke's photos the most, followed by Danielle and Sara's. Nnenna's was ok, as was Furonda's. I thought Leslie's was "eh" and Jade's was hideous, but that's because it was Jade. The pose itself wasn't bad.

And in what universe is Jade "getting younger", Tyra? Is it the diamond? Does Jade just automatically seem younger next to a billion year old hunk of carbon?

ITA to charmena. I tuned in just as Brooke was shouting "A-fri-ka? Why don't you go back to A-fri-ka?" to Nnenna and I was like, whoa. She loses all the points she had with me just for that. Now her "little girl lost" routine just grates.

Brooke's "Go back to Africa" comment had racist undertones IMO, although I realize she's just probably deflecting her insecurities on the more-confident Nnenna. Nnenna should stop her snickering though.

OK, how many times will this show contradict itself? They slammed Nik last season for a signature walk and claimed no one did that any more; it went out in the 90s. Now they focus on, what? Signature walks. Twirling on the runway. *sigh*

Leslie was deadweight IMO. She was more of a pretty actress than a model to me. It's obvious they're partial to Brooke though and want her to stay. Her pic was not that good.

The dancing on the set was hilarious.

I did predict Leslie going home this episode, if not Brooke. My gut feeling was finally right.

If it were up to me, I would have gotten rid of Nnenna...she's really starting to irritate the hell out of me...and she's such a bitch! I can't believe she was doubling over laughing at Brooke's commercial at last weeks judging...as if her commercial didn't SUCK ASS!!!!

And FuckingJADE....she better be gone next week....I almost puked when she looked in the camera and said "are you starting to see the potential?" *gagging*

And finally...don't get me started on the Nnenna phone thing...I guess talking to her stupid ass whining wimp of a boyfriend is more important than letting the other girls call their families, etc. GRRRRR

This time I found myself shouting along with at the tv....

1. At the "church fashion show", after Jade won -

Twin foreign men: "Jade, you get to choose two friends...."

Me: "YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS!!!"

2. At the krumping shoot.

Jay "Today you will be modeling payless shoes"

ME: "PAYLESS SHOES?!!?!" And then he tried to legitimize the greatness of payless. hehehe. I love me some BOGO Payless shoe sales as much as the next person, but I don't go 'round rockin payless as though they are high fashion... Where did the budget of this season go?

Tyra's turn was awesome.

I'm glad Leslie left. I thought she was beautiful, but her concave-in back was disturbing.

I missed the first 15 min of the show apparently the Brooke-Nnenna drama happened then... did the previews lie?

I'm not going in the general direction of the Brooke v. Nnenna ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN 2006, but wow. Brooke just cannot speak. At all! It never fails to amuse me.

I called that Leslie was out in the first two minutes- thanks a lot, editors.

And yeah, Joanie is amazing. I'd totally hang out with her, snaggletooth and all...which reminds me, next week looks beyond painful. Yeesh.

Tyra's little runway turn-turn-turn thing was impressive, you'd almost remember she was a professional model once.

I love Joanie - I really hope her upcoming massive dental work doesn't sap her personality. We need her narration for the rest of the series.

I think racism trumps hogging the phone every time. If sumbitch had yelled at me to "go back to China!!" I would've knocked a couple of teeth out, let alone just give her the cold shoulder.

And Brooke's commercial deserved to be laughed at. It was the epitome of airheaded stupidity. (Although I must work "I just LOVE Covergirl! It is SO nice to WEAR!" into my conversation at all times.)

Joanie's photo was pretty darn amazing. And she's just a fount of bon mots, isn't she? Another one for the annals: "I'm twirling for Jesus" (or whatever it was.)

I was kind of hoping Brooke would get sent home. I'm tired of hearing how she gets "nervous" all the time. Every time they get a new challenge or learn a new skill, she's "nervous." To the point of tears. What did she think was going to happen from week to week?

I also think if she was sorry about what she called Nnenna, she should apologize. If she meant it, stand by it. You can't have it both ways. I can appreciate Nnenna's "I don't care what they think about me," but she could have a little respect and understand that other people need to use the phone, too. The other girls seemed peeved at her behavior too, though they didn't call her on it.

Leslie is very pretty, and seems like a cool person, but she just looked dead all the time. Especially at the elimination; dead eyes, with bags underneath them. Her walk was attrocious, but I really do agree with whoever said that it's possible her spine prevents her from walking. Her body just seems to curve in an odd way. It was definately her time to go. She didn't look surpirsed at all.

Mr. Jay was almost useful tonight when he started out with advice about keeping the shoe forward. But then he disolved into his usual drivel. "Make the black girls proud!" Bleh. Miss Jay looked awful in that Wal-Mart tank top. He looked like he was hungover and just rolled out of bed or something.

I don't think Jade is getting younger before our eyes. I think she looks older every week. She looked really haggard tonight. I hate that she did so well this week. Although personally I thought she overdid it and twirled way too much in the church show. Joanie looked much better.

I didn't see anything great about Brooke's photo. To say she looked vacant was an understatement. Totally blank.

Joanie has become my sleeper favorite to win. She seems so funny and confident.

Joanie and Leslie, know that I still gots love for you both!

Finally two bitches in the house - Jade and Nnenna. One of them better leave soon, 'cause I hate both of'em.

She put some on herself and made the sign of the cross. I kept waiting for the smoke to rise from her leathery hide, but it must have been prop holy water.

This episode was kind of boring. The elimination always bugs me because JADE should be going home before anyone. I'm beyond tired of her. She's not entertaining at all, just obnoxious. The runway challenge didn't seem at all fair to me. Jade had on a swing cape, while everyone else had some sort of draping that would be really difficult to swing, but oh well. The 25,000 ring was pretty though.

Joanie has a really cool personality and she looked so cute during the krump photoshoot, though her final picture was weird. But, she and Danielle are my top two picks.

Nnenna is just blah to me now. I loved her in the beginning and now I just don't care. Brooke's Africa comment was really stupid and unneccessary.

I like Furonda. I think she would be a good high fashion model with her strange look, but she is soooo skinny. I'm thin myself, but I would never want to be that skinny.

Leslie is pretty, but boring. More boring than Mollie Sue could even try to be. Which is why the elimination order is so annoying.

She did it to herself. I'm surprised she wasn't struck down on the spot.

I just saw a different preview for next weeks ep. Oh my word, Joanie's teeth look awful. Not to mention how her face is gonna swell up. Are they trying to sabatoge her?

Now, the girls this season are supposed to have a signature walk? The hell? But, I will agree with those that Tyra's turn-turn-turn was extra fierce!

Precisely....if Nnenna had been from someplace else, then the comment wouldn't have bothered me; it was the way Brooke said it.

By the way, did anyone notice that Jade's hand was in front of the clown's crotch area? Doesn't surprise me since she looks like she fits the job description.

1. Jade was radiant at panel tonight. She does look much younger, the hair was styled beautifully, her smile had an extra glow, she was humble and receptive. Jade looked like a model in front of the judges tonight.

2. I need some of the crack Joanie much be smoking. Did you honestly believe her runway walk was in the same league as Jade's during the church fashion show? Bitch please! Naomi, Adriana, Gisele, Daria, and Gemma couldn't even work it out like Jade. I think Joanie is the only person in the house who recognizes that Jade a real and true competitor, and she's a little intimidated.

3. Brooke, never tell anyone to go back to Africa, EVER. It is never acceptable.

4. Did anyone else get freaked out by Nnenna's picture? It was so freaky, like someone took a crayon a colored in an outline of Nnenna. She does stay on the phone a lot, but damn, give the bitches cell phones.

5. Everyone else was just kind of blah tonight.

Jade is becoming a superstar. The Nnenna vs. Brooke drama will definitely shift the edit off of Jade a bit, she could fly under the radar, if she makes the top five, watch out!

I had to disagree with Tyra's assessment of Danielle. Everything about Danielle reeks model, and it just too much for Tyra do deal with a girl who is just a really great model without a lot of back story and drama. Her walk is awesome! Only real top models get signature walks, everyone else just needs a really good runway walk, which is what Danielle possesses. Her picture did not come out that great, but she was breath-taking in that make-up and outfit.

My thoughts exactly....the best part judging tonight was watching Nnenna make an ASS of herself trying to do the stupid turn in the middle of the mock runway....it was hilarious!!

I don't know what's happening, but Brooke is looking gorgeous to me lately. Gorgeous! (I don't think she was being racist, either, since Nnenna is actually from Africa. Overly sensitive, yes, but not racist. And gorgeous!!)

Personality-wise, I'm floving Danielle, Joanie and Furonda. This may be my favorite group of contestants ever on ANTM. But then there's Jade to screw up the curve.

Hmmm. Well, I guess it's official ... the show can change it's name to "America's Next Top MLAACG bit part spokesperson" ... obviously, they're not making any attempt to find anyone that even looks remotely like a model. But I surrender to the inevitable ... so here is what I think of while I'm trying to pick the future winner of "America's Next Top MLAACG ad person" ( after all, we're the ones who are going to be stuck watching her pitch cheap cosmetics while we're watching next season ).

Other than that ( and on the plus side ) ...

... I actually really liked Ms. Jay's "modeling tips" this week ... I thought he gave good advise on how to take off a jacket, etc.


Brooke: Can't stand her. Liked her even less this week. She looks sloopy and confused, and she made herself look even worse by griping about Nnenna.

Nnenna: Still too old to be a model, but I still love her, anyway ... and hey, since this show isn't even trying to pick a real model anymore, I vote for her. Sure, she has the boyfriend from hell ... but when you think about what her father was like, maybe it's natural that she picked someone just like dad. Anyway, I still have hopes that she'll dump him anytime now.

Joanie: I don't know ... she still rubs me the wrong way. But I think I'd like her better if she'd stop saying she was doing what "God wants" ... I find that really annoying. And I agree with the judges ... she has horrible teeth. But it looks like they're going to fix them next week ... and she's been winning me over week after week ... so, we'll see.

Jade: Well, that goes without saying. Probably the worst personality ever on ANTM, too old ( not that that matters anymore ... everyone left is too old to be an actual model now ) and saying that she looks like a drag queen is an insult to drag queens everywhere ( look around you, pannel ... there are some drag queens out there that are really pretty ... unlike Jade ). And did everyone notice her horrible hair once again this week? I kept waiting for her to actually sprout horns, a tail and have a pitchfork magically appear in her hands and have the room around her erupt in flames. She is just so "over-the top" evil, I keep thinking she must be an actress they hired for the part. No one can actually be like that ... can they?

Furonda: Too old, not pretty, but I'm starting to like her personality.

Daniella: Big gap between her teeth. I don't mind her accent at all, and I like her personality ... but her hair looks really horrible ( but as I said earlier ... that's hardly her fault. Tyra inflicted that on her ).

Sara: Too old, but the only one left that bears any resemblence whatsoever to an actual model. But she does look awkward in pictures ... maybe she would be better off striking out on her own and forgetting this show ... if she was even remotely interested in modeling in the first place.

Re Brookie's "go back to Africa" comment -- I don't think the girl has the smarts or the irony to use that phrase in a racist way. I think she meant it in a "go back to the other high school, the one that always beats us in football" kind of way.

Someone earlier said that Sara was channeling her inner Elvis. Huh? Her inner Tracy Lords is more like it. Inner blow-up doll. Rein in the lips -- stretch them out in a smile, anything! Like her height, they're not doing her any favors.

Favorite photo was Nnenna's. I don't think Nnenna was a bitch at all. I just think that she kept her cool by NOT responding to the over sensitive Brooke. I was hoping Brooke would be eliminated; but I knew it was Leslie's time to go. I am so tired of Brooke's crying and wimpering. God, every time there's a photo shoot or a competition, Mr. Jay has to reassure her not to freak out. I am literally getting sick and tired of that.

Also, I think a lot of others are laughing at Brooke. I know I'm cracking up this season at Brooke and others. They are all giggling; but, the camera is being focused on Nnenna to keep the drama up between her and Brooke.

Grow up Brooke and quit blaming others for your problems.

Joanie is growing on me; and Danielle's body was sic in the krumping photo shoot.

Even though Jade is evil, she did win the competition fair and square. The girl rocked the twirling runway.

I can't tell if Jade's choosing of Furonda as her friend to recieve the diamonds was a nice gesture, considering that Furonda point blank refused to choose Jade to share her prize last week. Or if all of the other girls just hate her more than Furonda hates her.

Technically, Nnenna is from the U.S. She was born in the U.S. and only went to Nigeria when she was what, two? She came back when she was twelve? So, she's spent the most of her years on US soil. Therefore, Brooke's comment was ignorant.

I missed a good majority of the episode tonight; the only parts I saw were Miss Jay's runway coaching (finally!) and the Brooke/Nnenna smackdown. Miss Jay actually (ding!) gave some good comments, and per Brooke's comment to Nnenna: I don't think it was racist, because she is African, but it was definitely an asshole move. She either needs to learn how to keep her cool, or get out of the modeling industry. That being said, I did think Nnenna was being a bitch. Not for necessarily hogging the phone, but for the way she was treating Brooke. Whether or not she cares what the other girls think of her, she shouldn't be completely disrespectful.

So, it was so obivously telegraphed that Leslie was going home. She spoke more in this episode than in the entire season before.

Though she is not going to win I do loves me some Joanie.

I keep getting on Jade for her forehead wrinkles, but I can't help it. She was bringing them out full force tonight. Maybe if she didn't raise her eyebrows in false superiority so much, they wouldn't stand out as bad. But on the plus side, they're so distracting that I notice the rest of her face a little less. I'm still choking a little about Tyra's "getting younger" comment, though.

Is something actually wrong with Furonda's arms or her joints? Does she need some chondroitin or something?

I was shocked that Jay gave some semi-useful direction at the shoot. If he doesn't go back to being useless next week, it's going to mess with my world view.

Also, I hope Sara learns to own her height because I still think she has a lot of potential.

ETA: Miss J., put on a shirt with sleeves. I don't need to see that much of his pits, his sides, or his booblets.

Screw Brooke being racist -- what the hell is up with Orange Jay? Have we not moved beyond this race determines rhythm bullshit? I don't know if the white girls or the black girls should be more pissed off.

I no longer find Brooke unattractive -- and how the hell did THAT happen?? On the flip side, I love Furonda's self, but her looks... no.

I want Joanie to win now. You twirl for Jesus, honey! (Although those outfits were not church-appropriate. :-) Aw! I do remember church fashions shows -- no diamonds, though.)

I don't think Nnenna was as nice as she might have been, however, Brooke sort of had it coming -- if you have a problem with someone, how are you going to get your point across if you immediately accuse them of being stupid? "How can you be a chemist and not understand the phone?" (She didn't even imply that Nnenna didn't understand phone ettiquette, she implied Nnenna didn't understand phone technology.) She's lucky nobody popped her in the teeth. How much more effective would it have been to just ASK, without insults?

I still don't hate her, though -- her stress level is palpable.

Here are some of my observations

Jade: I can't stand her, but the bitch nailed the chruch competiton and the krunk shot. I hate to say it, but I see her sticking around for a while. I can see her being in the top 4 or even 3. When they showed the krunk shot and they photo shopped the shit out of it.

Sara: She's starting to crack and this was the worst week she had. It the first time in a while that I've seen some emotion out of her. I felt bad for her when she wept on the bed. I think Sara has a bright future and modelling isn't it.

Brooke: I picked her to go home this week and she surprised me. Her photo was good and the walk was better some others. But, I'm starting to get annoyed with all of her whining.

Danielle: Why don't they fix her dental flaw? I thought she played it safe this week.

Nnenna: I hate to see the phone bill. My wife said they should of put the clown's wig on her head. She was stiff again and she's limited in facial expressions.

Furonda: I'll bet she had zero body fat. I agree with Jay that her dead arm is problem and I notice she slouchs when she walks. She really connects with the camera.

Joanie: She was smoking hot in that outfit. She has some elements of good modelling. Is the dental work a preview of her winning this competition?

Leslie: I wasn't too surprised, because I felt she was so unforgetable. My grandmother has a better runway walk. She looks so bored in front of the panel.
