Glark
Talky!
skillzdatkillz
YES YES YES, thank you Glark oh so much. Not a moment too soon. I'm too happy! And great updates everywhere. Very jazy and nifty.
jcpdiesel21
Hooray! Scrubs has its own forum! And I love the icon. I've missed Rowdy this season.
bookemdano
Whoa, subforum! That was unexpected, but Scrubs deserves one.
silvyme
OH MY GOD!!!

This is awesome. I totally didn't expect this. This is great great news. Thank you so much!

I can't wait to start all the threads and all that. I am totally excited.
Redshift
w000! About time, too. To the threads!
Elen
Yay! I'm so excited! Thanks so much for stating the forum. Hmm, now I will need to quit something in order to keep up....buh-bye, Chess Club! ;)
jadeddaisy
A Scrubs forum!!! I'm so excited that it's almost unnatural. I'm also officially against the usage of three exclamation points at a time, but you know what? A Scrubs forum totally warrants it. Wh00t!
Memphispopsicle
YAY Scrubs forum! Thank you Glark! I was having a really hard time keeping up with the Scrubs thread. :-)
Glark
You are most welcome. A fitting new home for (IMO) TV's best under-the-radar show.
bookcat
ohhh, that's Rowdy? I get it!
Karoline
Oh my god!

A Scrubs forum! Now that just made my day.
skillzdatkillz
You're not alone in that opinion Glark, it's literally under the rader if the little to no promos they get even from NBC (but I'm sure now there's a thread to pump all that rage out hehe)

You know, somehow I find that Rowdy drawing still looks more animated than the Scrubs one. Heh.

Well, I should start by introducing myself since I'll be a frequent flying here (and jump started a few threads). Around TWoP I either go by skillzdatkillz or skillz for short. I was a late comer in the old Scrubs thread since I only found TWoP about 6 months ago but I'm loving it. Everyone is able to pick up on all the minute details that I often need a second or third viewing to see.

I enjoy all the other hit sitcoms out there (The Office, AD, Earl) but I lurk more often than posting around those threads. I post in some Drama shows like 24, Battlestar, and Grey's Anatomy (it's good!).

All in all, I'm very happy about this subforum and hope it gets super chatty and fun.

Oh yea, and I'm Canadian. woo!
DCCrackMonkee
Whee!!! Our own forum! This is beyond awesome.
RainIsBeautiful
I love you so much, Glark! If you're ever in Atlanta and want a free massage, you got it! Sports, Shiatsu, Pre-natal, whatever you want. ;)

And look! A Meet Market!!!

Hi, y'all. My name is RainIsBeautiful (hee, not really), and I've been around since the MBTV days. I didn't start posting here until 2002, and most of my time was spent in the ER forums. I missed having a meet market to chat in! I don't watch ER anymore, but I'm a regular fan of The Apprentice, Scrubs, Joey, ANTM, Beauty & The Geek, and Iron Chef/Iron Chef America. I live in Atlanta and I'm a massage therapist.

Who's next? :)
PrincessSparkle
I'm thrilled Scrubs is finally getting it's own forum. This is truly a great day.
Scrambled Eggs
Just wanted to add my surprise and delight at seeing this forum. Yay!
zekeburger
Freakin' Sweet! Scrubs has its own forum.

I've been here for a few years. I tend to lurk and post in quite a few areas such as: Glimore Girls, Veronica Mars, The West Wing, Cartoons, Dramas, and Sitcoms.
LilJen
Wow, what a pleasant surprise to see a Scrubs with its own subforums!! Whee!! Been only an occasional watcher until recently, but we've watched most of S1 and S2 on DVD so we're getting caught up with this delightful show.

Sad that there's no Ted thread, alas. I think he's my favorite character. A wonderful combination of pathetic and spineless and yet highly creative and talented (great air guitar, and WHAT a fashion sense!). Just saw the season 2 ep where JD & Turk are hitting golf balls off the roof of the hospital, and Ted shows up at the end to hit a few wearing the most godawful, garish outfit. This truly is how my husband wishes he could dress every day (and he does have a tie collection that would rival Ted's).
emma675
This is so cool! Thanks, Glark!

Aw, Rowdy; and it looks like he's standing on his tip toes, too! ;-)
leebeasy
Yay Scrubs own sub forum! Thank you very much Glark!
Learned Hand
This is so exciting! YAY! Love the Rowdy icon.
leebeasy
I am so slow! I only just realised that was Rowdy! I love this sub forum even more now!
sidekickgirl
This? Is AWESOME!! YAY Glark! Viva la TWOP!
lulu519
I'm so excited to see a Scrubs subforum! It was such a delightful surprise this morning when I arrived at work!

I'm lulu519, and I've been a hardcore Scrubs fan since the pilot aired in 2001. I've only been on twop for a year, but I spend a lot of time both lurking and posting on the following forums: Scrubs, Arrested Development, The O.C., American Idol, Friends (also excited to see that subforum!), TV Potluck boards, Entourage, The Apprentice, The Daily Show, Boston Legal, and The Colbert Report.
Karoline
Time to present myself then too, I guess?

I'm Karoline, I'm 16 years old and I live in Norway. I have periods where I post a lot on TWoP, and now is one of them. The forums I usually post in is The Amazing Race, American Idol, Americas Next Top Model, The O.C., CSI (SUBFORUM! YES!), Veronica Mars, Survivor, Lost, Desperate Housewives and Prison Break. Oh, and I also like Grey's Anatomy but I haven't caught up with that yet so I'm staying away from the spoilery but tempting forum so far.
Yannick
We need a "INTERNET-FIVE! The Todd thread"!
RainIsBeautiful
Got it! Awww, memories.
raspberrytea
Wow this is so exciting! I love the rowdy icon in the top corner.

I'm raspberrytea, I have watched the show since season 1, episode one. I also watch Arrested Development, The West Wing, The Office, The Daily SHow, The Colbert Report and Lost. My favorite episodes are many and include "My Screwup", "His Story" and "My Overkill". I am against another JD/Elliot relationship. My favorite Elliot boyfriend was Scott Foley. My favorite recurring character is Doug.
Audra
Hi, I'm Audra, and I never miss an episode of Scrubs. I even made my own dvd collection of all the episodes but I'm throwing them out in favor of the dvd's in stores. I was not a fan at first because I thought NBC's promo department made the show look incredibly dumb. But, after seeing good reviews of the show in magazines I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did. My other favorite shows are Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Daily Show, and South Park.

I almost like that it's underrated because then NBC doesn't mess with the producers. My favorite episodes are any of the one's with Brendan Fraser and Scott Foley. I think those two are the best guest stars the show has ever had. I especially loved, "My White Whale" and "My Occurance." My favorite character is Turk.
skillzdatkillz
Yay, our Scrubs family is growing and growing mwhahah. I feel the same way too, Audra, about a show being so underground from the mass public so that the network stays far far away. That's always a note of concern y'know? Like Arrested Development, it's a smart, funny and good show but the ratings doesn't show it, yet you just KNOW it's popular (hence sub-forum whee).

I loved when Scott Foley talks to his marine animals like his best pals.
emmanya
Hi there. I'm Emmanya and I found Scrubs hidden away on the graveyard shift on Channel4 at eleven pm. It was love immedietely - I think my first episode was ep2 of season one. I post in Desperate Housewives, Charmed (don't hate me), The O.C, the tennis subforum thingy and whatever takes me fancy. My favourite Scrubs episode changes every day but right now I love the season three episode where Cox hurts his back...I'm a sucker for Carla/Cox moments. My favourite character is Doug. I love love love me some nervous guy. The best guest star was undoubtedly Brendan Fraser but I'm also partial to some Scott Foley. Lovin' the subforum for Scrubs!
Bearnuckle
Hi, I'm Bearnuckle and I live in Melbourne, Australia. The only TWOP forums I post on regularly are this one and Lost. Given the fact that Scrubs has never been screened here on channel 7 with anything even vaguely resembling consistency, my love for the show has grown principally through the dvds and the wonder of the internet.

I prefer the classics, especially the moving Brendan Fraser episodes, though I felt the Wizard of Oz episode was genius. I wish Jordan hadn't got so much botox. I too agree that JD and Elliot should never get back together, and I love every JD/Turk moment. I can't decide whether I want to marry Dr Cox or the Janitor.

Am also rapt that Scrubs has its own subforum! Virtual Five!
LilJen
I forgot to add in my earlier post that my 4-yo daughter really enjoys singing along with the theme song. Very cute to hear "I no superman" in her little girl voice. She'd sing along with "The Office" theme (the only other appointment TV in our cable-less house) but there are no words (though she sings "Ryan started the fire!" fairly often).

Stuck in NE Indiana at the moment (no offense to any natives) and really wanting to be back in my nearly native Seattle but it just wasn't in the cards this year!
guppiechic
Hello all! I am guppiechic, and I have watched Scrubs off and on since season one, but became a regular viewer in season 3. I don't know that I can even choose a favorite Scrubs moment, they are all so good. Right now I have the airband clip on my "myspace" which always makes me smile. I never wear clothing or accessories of my favorite shows/bands, etc. but I may have to get a "No airbanding" tee too.

I lurk, and occassionally post in the Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, and Daily Show threads. Well, I also lurk in the ANTM and Katie Holmes thread in Dawson's Creek. Oh, and how could I forget-I love the Office!

I am personally responsible for recruiting at least 4 people to become Scrubs addicts. Yea!!
chunkyrice13
Hi all. I've been watching Scrubs since season 1, although college lack of tv made me only a casual viewer through seasons 3 and 4. Currently I face the serious House/Scrubs dilemma as best one can. Reruns of either show make me so happy!

My favorite character is Dr. Cox. That episode where he ends up alone with the pizzas makes me cry. So many pizzas, such a lonely man.
sarcasmdetected
Neato! You're the best Glark!

Nice to finally meet you all in a forum-condoned meet-spot. New-forum-five!
RabidChipmnk
Nice forum! Love the Rowdy at the top. So I'm RabidChipmnk, I generally post in Arrested Development, then Passions (no judging) if I'm not too swamped with school, then Scrubs, Family Guy, other stuff if I really have free time. But spring break (woo!) is coming up, so I might be lurking around here.

I've watched Scrubs from the beginning, when I said to myself, wow, Friends is no longer the best comedy currently on the air. I've caught up rewatching the DVDs (woo Christmas) and some season 3 episodes that *cough* somehow managed to appear on my hard drive... *cough*

Fancy seeing you here, raspberrytea! And sarcasmdetected, I think I've seen you around too.
Cleo256
Wow, I never imagined Scrubs would get its own space, but I'm so glad it did. I think this is the best show on TV, and has been since it started.

I came to the show based on the early promos, which made the show look either really great or really dumb. I took a chance and am glad I did. My favorite character is Dr. Cox, and I think you need no further proof that award shows are a sham than the fact that John C McGinley hasn't even been nominated for an Emmy. My favorite episode, after much deliberation, is "My Hero", for finding the best balance between comedy and heart in that first season.

I live in the Pacific Northwest, not too far from Seattle. I can be found mainly in the Star Trek forum, I've been around TWoP since 2002 and I met my girlfriend here (Oh, and despite my user name, I'm male).
guppiechic
Forum-five! I love it sarcasmdetected!!
Learned Hand
Hee! I want a forum-five too! Can I get one if I make a single entendre?

Is there a new episode tonight? I find it remarkably hard to keep up with the schedule...
possibilities
Whoa! Scrubs getting its own forum!!!!

To the person upthread who watches Beauty and the Geek-- hey! Me, too. None of my friends respect me for it, so I'm glad another Scrubs fan can back me up.

I am personally responsible for recruiting at least 4 people to become Scrubs addicts

Way to go!! We should give awards for this behavior!

I don't have a favorite character, but I may hold the distinction of being the only person who wishes they'd made Dr. Miller a regular.
RainIsBeautiful
BATG is my favorite "young people" reality show. Forum-Five, possibilities! :D
silvyme
Another Forum-Five guys. I loved Hooch - he makes my day. I totally used Turk's choreography for a recent office dance.

I think I watch way too much t.v., which is a total turn around because only a year and half ago I only watched 1 hour of tv (not counting sports) per week. I am a huge NFL and NCAA BB and FB fan, but even they have decreased in importance as I have caught up on so many shows. These include: Scrubs, AD, MNiE, GA, House, VM, PR, TAR, ANTM, and Lost (vomit in mouth, absoultely wins the IWIKHTQY award). I came on the site for JoA and am still upset that the show isn't around - even with all its problems it touched my heart.

But all in all TWOP is the main reason why I started watching any of these other shows.

Back to Scrubs - I have been a loyal viewer only this season, but I promise I have seen every episode atleast twice. It is currently my sleeptime show - so I am half seeing season 3 right now. My favorite character has to be Turk, but it varies from season to season. I used to love Elliot and there was a time when I adored Dr. Cox. This season Turk is the MAN!

Hope to share more views with you guys soon!
jcpdiesel21
Forum-fives all around!

Hey, y'all! I'm jcpdiesel21 and I have been a devoted watcher of Scrubs ever since season 1. I really started loving the show after the third episode, "My Best Friend's Mistake," which still happens to be my favorite episode. I liked the show so much that I introduced my fiance to it and now we watch together every week and watch the DVDs together. I am a big fan of TV, regularly watching Prison Break, 24, Gilmore Girls, House, TAR, Lost, Veronica Mars, Project Runway, Everybody Hates Chris, Everwood, CSI, and My Name is Earl.
queenhobodonut
Hooray, forum fives!

I've been a pretty regular poster here these past two days, so I thought I'd say hello.

I've watched episodes of Scrubs on and off since Season 1, but last fall I downloaded the majority of Season 2 while watching Season 4. Fell in love and am an obsessive dvd watcher now.

Almost every character has verged on annoying or boring to me during the seasons, but just when its about to my wits end, the characters win me right back! I actually think that its a testament to the writing--thats how I can start to feel about people in my real life too.

I have become a fairly frequent poster over this spring break on the Buffy, Top Model and Grey's Anatomy boards (okay, the Survival games). I also lurk and occassionally post at the boards of my favorite soaps!
skillzdatkillz
Forum Fives all around! :)

In an attempt to stir up convo here: what's on your iPod, mp3, cd player (what's that?) right right now?

I've got We Are Scientists - With Love and Squalor album on, I've got to say every song on it has replay value (and I only listen to rock sparringly).
guppiechic
Good convo starter! Well, I have Jem in the car (not of the Holograms, the British one). And, I am listening to an indie band, Dept. of Energy at work. What are We Are Scientists like?
RainIsBeautiful
No CD player in my car, but I'm listening to my Duran Duran "Decade" cassette. (Girls! On! Film!) At home, I've been playing Alicia Keys' "Diary" and India.Arie's "Acoustic Soul". One day, when I'm rich and famous, I'm dying to get an iPod video.

I'm between jobs right now, so I've been doing temp work until my dream job at my dream company opens up (they have a hiring freeze on right now, but I'm in when it lifts!). This week, while stuffing envelopes, I listened to the book "Little House on the Prairie" on CD. It doesn't hold the same charm it did 18 years ago (when I last read it), but the imagery was great.
queenhobodonut
No iPod (I'm so lame!), but in the cd player for the past week, at all times, is Ben Folds. I've been transferring from cd to cd, but I fall back on Rockin' the Suburbs, of course. I saw him in concert last week and I just can't get enough of this crazy, talented, hilarious, classy little man!
