The season that started it all! The glory days (well, some may disagree there), the original! Simon being mean unlike anyone else before him! Kelly! Justin when he had a career! And whatever else. It's been over 3.5 years, almost 4 since it was "born" in the summer like Survivor was in 2000.

The history of the game and how it came to be is right here if you're interested.



General Stuff:

• Each contestant starts at 0.
• The object of the game is to add a certain number of points, or to subtract a certain number of point from up to five contestants per post.
• The number of points to subtract is always half the number of points you would add to a contestant should to choose to do so.
• Keep in mind that it's possible that contestants could be in the hole (as in under 0, or at a negative number of points).
• There are six levels in terms of how many to add or subtract, called Take or Give Levels (or TOG Levels).

We'll start at 5 to Take and 10 to Give, and here's the schedule of how they'll increase:

Level 1: 5 & 10 (5 to take, 10 to give)
Level 2: 10 & 20 (starts after someone reaches 100)
Level 3: 15 & 30 (starts after someone reaches 300)
Level 4: 20 & 40 (starts after someone reaches 600)
Level 5: 25 & 50 (starts after someone reaches 1000)
Level 6: 50 & 100 (starts after someone reaches 1500)

Points needed to increase the TOG levels.

100 points
300 points
600 points
1000 points
1500 points

Things to remember:

• When one contestant reaches the preceding number of points, then the TOG levels increase.
• Keep in mind that this is only the first contestant to do so.

Elimination Points:

TOG Level I (5 & 10)

• Whenever a contestant reaches 100 points in the first TOG Level, then whomever is trailing (on the plus side) will be eliminated.
• Also (and this is important), should any contestant be in the hole, they'll also be out of the game.
• The only exception is if it'll result in less than five contestants remaining in the contest.
  
  TOG Level II (10 & 20)
  
• Whenever a contestant reaches 300 points in the second TOG Level, then whomever is trailing (with 50 or more points) will be eliminated.
• Also (and this is important), should any contestant be under 50 points, they'll also be out of the game.
• The only exception is if it'll result in less than five contestants remaining in the contest.
  
  TOG Level III (15 & 30)
  
• Whenever a contestant reaches 600 points in the third TOG Level, then whomever is trailing (with 100 or more points) will be eliminated.
• Also (and again this is important), should any contestant be under 100 points, they'll also be out of the game.
• The only exception is if it'll result in less than five contestants remaining in the contest.
  
  TOG Level IV (20 & 40)
  
• Whenever a contestant reaches 1000 points in the third TOG Level, then the Top Four Contestants will advance to the next TOG Level, with the remaining trailing contestants eliminated from the competition.
• Also (and again this is important), should there be a tie between whomever's in 4th place, then the contestant that placed lower on their show will be out (unless it's a special game where either the show hasn't aired, or the contestant exited in the same place, in which case it's voters choice).
• Again, when all is said and done here, there should be 4 contestants left at the end of this TOG Level and prior to the start of TOG Level V.
  
  TOG Level V (25 & 50)
  
• The first contestant to reach 1500 points will result in all trailing contestants to be out of the game, until there are three contestants left. There should be four contestants at this point, so whomever is currently in fourth will be out of the game. Should there be a tie, then the contestant that placed lower on their show will be out (unless it's a special game where either the show hasn't aired, or the contestant exited in the same place, in which case it's voters choice). Following this, we will be down to three contestants, which means we'll move to the final TOG level in place, which is:
  
  TOG Level VI (50 & 100)
  
• It's a race to the finish, and given the doubling of the TOG Levels, starting at this Level, it could be all said and done in as few as 10 set of votes.
• However, there's a chance that the TOG levels could increase if necessary. I'll worry about that when the time comes to worry about it. The first contestant to reach 2500 points will be the winner.

Non-Elimination Info

• Finally, in an attempt to "channel" the Non-Elimination bonus, during the TOG level-increase when contestants could end up being eliminated, someone can spare any contestant from being out of the game. For example, when the TOG levels increase, and a contestant or contestants is or are in the hole or under the mandatory points necessary to move on, someone can decide to spare that contestant or those contestants.
• However, this can only happen 4 times throughtout the entire game, as in 4 times total (not 4 per participant), and it can only occur after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Elimination Points, or upon a contestant reaching 100, 300, and 600 points respectively.
• Also, and this is pretty important, after the first TOG Increase/Elimination Point where the leading contestant reaches 100 points, for the first level, someone can only spare up to two contestants (thus saving the other two or more for the 2nd and 3rd TOG Level Increase where the leading contestants would be at 300 and 600 respectively).

Looks like it's time to increase the TOG Levels.


Now that Kelly and Tamyra have reached/passed 100, the TOG Levels have increased to 10 & 20, meaning that you can subtract 10 from a contestant, and add 20 to another contestant. Also, since we've moved to TOG Level II, all contestants in the hole are out of the game, as well as EJay who was on the plus side, but was trailing other contestants. In another game, I did the opposite of what I'm about to do, where I spared everyone possble to the point where no one was booted after Round 1 (something that I won't be doing again, it was only done for a special purpose). This time, I'm booting the most people possible to get the list down to the minimum 5 contestants (I've booted more in a particular period and have seen more than this booted, but that was due to the list being longer). Given the gap between everyone, it looks too inevitable to try to hope for a miracle comeback.

Normally, after someone reaches 300, there will be more people either on the way out, or spared by someone. However there are five contestants remaining, so these five will due it out, without any elimations, and until someone reaches 1000 points. There will be two more TOG Level increases, but these five will remain until someone reaches or passes 1000 points. That being said, here's the updated list:
