Did anyone else watch Oprah? I liked the Billy Ray and his dog watched Miley on her home date story! And those Hannah fans that thought they were there for a best fan contest, were a riot. I loved the tour of the bus. Miley likes Hello Kitty for her bed sheets and her sister's bunk is all Hannah Montana. :)

And I just wanted to comment on how adorable Miley was on Oprah today. My mom even enjoyed it, and she's constantly making fun of me for liking Hannah Montana.
And after the Oprah ended, I was really tempted to go into the basement and look for my American Girl doll. I went to the Chicago store a few months ago and that place is ah-may-zing. And now I'm wondering if Miley had one...hmmm.

So what episode was it that introduced you to our wonderful, if slightly inappropriate, obsession?
It was the episode where Miley and her brother had this bet going to see if she wouldn't be able to complain while watching their neighbors neice! And then today I actually caught 2 episodes while at a family members house for Thanksgiving. The episode with the Jonas Brothers and the one with the boyfriend that you guys were talking about and this alien show with some girl that didn't like Hannah.

Oops...I made a mistake...I was confusing Billy Ray's show which airs tomorrow with another show I was recording...so I have to wait. Scarlet, that's good news from my perspective. Britney would only have turned dining with the Cyrus' into a self-serving publicity stunt. But I do have to give Miley and Billy Ray credit, not once, on any talk show do they diss Britney, Paris, Lindsay, etc. They politely answer the question when someone asks what do they think about the trouble trifecta and move on. I wonder what Miley really thinks of them?

So I guess Britney didn't spend Thanksgiving with the Cyrus family after all.
While I think it may have done Britney some good, I'm glad the Cyrus family got to spend a nice family Thanksgiving on their farm in Tennessee. I bet the concert tonight in Nashville, on Miley's B-day will be a blast. I hear
Billy Ray will sing Ready, Set, Don't Go with her.

Good ol' southern hospitality. Or whatever. lol.
I agree though. Miley never disses them, she just makes it clear that it isn't the path for her. There's no tone of superiority or anything like that, which is really nice. She seems like a good kid. Though if I were her, I might be a wee bit embarrassed if I was sitting next to my dad, listening to him tell Oprah how big my heart was. lol.

Well that was, interesting. I don't know how much I liked Billy Ray saying "you sounded better than Miley" though. Even if it was a joke or whatever, if my dad said that about me to my sister, I'd be really sad. I suppose that's the problem with having two singing daughters. lol. It was cute though. I'm going to force my friend to watch the new episode with me. I talk about the show all the time so she said she wanted to check it out, and then I told her about the episode with Dolly Parton and found out she loves Dolly Parton, so this will be a good one to show her. Hmm...I wonder if I can drag our other friend and one of the interns at the zoo who likes the show to come over when we get off work and we can make it a HM viewing party.
Seriously, though, who doesn't love Dolly Parton? "Honey, when your pants are as tight as mine, you gotta find someplace else to keep your phone." I especially love her quoting Jake Ryan's "Dude, I slayed you once, don't make me slay you again!"

I know some of you like to get a heads up on plot lines, so I asked my brother about I Will Always Loathe You. Read at your own risk. :)
Hannah is getting some award and wants her family there. But Dolly and Ma'maw hate each other cuz years ago, they were both dating The King... yes, The King... Elvis Presley. Originally, we had it as Bill Cosby cuz it was just so absurd, but they made us change it. Typical.
During the episode, Dolly and Vicki are supposed to trade barbs at each other the whole time til they make up at the end. But Miss Dolly said she didn't feel comfortable saying mean things to Vicki and asked us to change everything. She suggested to we write "kill em with kindness" lines. So she's overly nice with a sense of barb here and there, and honestly, it worked out really well.

Well since it'll be after work I'll just be in my grubby uniform. I still have to convince my friends to come over, but I'm sure I can convince at least two of them to watch the episode with me. I have to hype up the Dolly part of the night.

Yes.
do you think a new kid addition would be a traditional jumping the shark point?
Also yes. I'm thinking of the arrival of a certain Disney Channel star to the Huxtable household, and I imagine it would be much the same here. Also, look at what cousin Oliver (wait a minute...) did for the Bradys. But it would be interesting to see what Robby and Heather's kid would be like. Would he/she be an uptight skateboarder or a goofball singer? Or would he/she sing
while skateboarding and have -- dare I say it -- the best of both worlds?
