Since people seem to be interested in chatting about Mr. Chambers, I thought I'd give y'all a place to do that.

Didn't one of his fellow cast members say about him that " he has sperm in his saliva " ? Can we get that peep in here please ? That is some serious Grade A snark right there.

So cute! Married for ten years with five kids?!?!?!? "When I kiss him it's like kissing Daddy??!?!?!?!?' Oh, how I love Oprah.

I think he is hot, hot, hot. I love it that he is married with five kids. I be they are all beautiful.

But, that said, I'm still on the Justin love train.

I've loved him ever since "The Musketeer". (Wretched, wretched movie, but Justin was SO HOT!!)

I just read in the local paper today that he's from my hometown (Springfield, Ohio). No one ever comes from here!

He was featured on Extra last night. They interviewed him briefly and talked about his modeling career and showed some old black and white Calvin Klein ads. They then talked about 2 murders that happened in his hometown when he was a teenager. One of the people killed was either a neighbour or classmate of his. Yikes. They brought it up because of the plotline of his new movie The Zodiac. They then went on to his meeting his wife and his 5 kids. He said that everyone does a double take whenever they hear how many kids he was. I guess thats always gonna be his thing now in interviews for lazy reporters, just the way PD marrying his manager 28 years his senior is for him. Anyway, he seemed very sweet and personable in the interviews and a million miles removed from Alex. GA didn't really get mentioned at all, except for him being refered to as Greys Anatomy Star, Justin Chambrs.

The movie comes out this Friday. I had no idea. It's a pity whoever made it doesn't seem to have any type of a marketing budget to promote it. It's a shame not to be able to capitalise on having a hot actor from a smoking hot TV show in your movie, marketing wise, isn't it ?

Is he mixed? His twin brother looks nothing like him, he looks African-American or Latino. I like him, he brings life to Alex, but everytime I see him I want to scream out trim the hair on the back of your head. That bothers me for some reason.

Has anyone else heard JC on the GA podcast? He sounds so sweet. I love it.

He did, he really did. He so sounded soooooo not like Alex, which these days, I am not so sure if that is a bad thing or a good thing.

Wednesday I was having lunch with my software developer in NY. We went to Nougatine, and as I got out of my cab I saw this guy coming out of the restaurant. He looked vaguely familiar. As he started down the steps he was accosted by someone wanting a photo with him. And every few steps there was another accoster. By the time he got to the first row of cabs I was close enough to see it was Dr. Korev (but at the time didn't know the actor's name and wasn't willing to be an idiot and say "Hey Alex, you were amazing Monday night," which was the only thing that came to me). He is so cute in person (and with a bit more hair and a bit more scruffy than he is when he's playing Alex. And he seemed very accommodating to the crazed stalker fans--they stopped him even in the middle of the street). I won't be forgetting his name, now (especially after his amazing performance in the finale).

I met him a few weeks ago and will totally agree with that statement. Nice guy too!

I just watched this week's episode again.

Justin is so underrated. I guess it's easy to be when your character hasn't been written for as much as some of the others, but Justin Chambers does a really nice job with what he gets. Even when he is playing an ass, he doesn't ever let it become one note.

He was on Ellen today. It was a very short interview (the clapping almost lasted longer). But he said he's not getting yelled at as much on the streets anymore because his character is nicer. Ellen also gave him personalized boogie boards for all his kids and some other beach stuff because they moved from NY to CA.

And if you look underneath, there are the names of two of his daughters, too, Isabella and Maya (although I'm sure that there are more, with his other kids, we just can't see them). My estimation of him keeps going higher and higher.

The crew people must have a hard time each week airbrushing out those tattoos! Heh.

So I get a call from my sister the other day, and it goes like this

HER: "So you know that guy that plays Karev on Grey's?"
ME: "His name's Justin Cha..."
HER: "Whatever. He has a wife and 5 kids. Apparently his wife finds him as hot as the rest of us do."

It made me laugh. A lot. I thought y'all could relate. I must say I don't spend much time in the actor threads so the number of kids was news to me.

Lol! That conversations is like what me and my friend's conversation would go as. When i told her that he had 5 kids she couldn't believe it.

I always find Justin Chambers on the back pages here. I really like the way he plays Alex on the show, and everything I read about him makes him seem like a genuinely great guy without an outsized ego and with his heart in teh right spot. He doesn't seem to get so much notice on the fan pages though.

ITA. I think the reason is that once you mention everything (wife, kids, etc.) There isn't much more to say. There isn't much controversy around him, and he doesn't do interviews all too often. There's only so many ways to say "he seems like such a great guy" and "he's hot!" :)

In a preview for the Canadian entertainment program E-Talk there is a clip of Justin where he says: "He's in love with Addison", you can hear the female host audibly gasp, then he gets little red faced, shakes his head and corrects using Izzy.

To be fair, two of them are twins.

It's not like he's the only one to have so many kids in a short time. Watch Nanny 911 sometime and you'll see what I mean.

I wasn't trying to imply that he was the only person in the world to have a lot of kids. He just seems very young (or younger than he is) so sometimes it suprises me to hear how many kids he has (and that one of them is eight years old).



But still, there are two more after the twins - he obviously wanted a big family coming from a big family himself. They must have a busy household. Twins seem to run in his family, what with him having a twin brother (Jason???) and all.

I think the youngest, the only boy, is 5. And Justin will be 37 this year.

37? He looks so young (and with that I've turned into my Grandma).
