I was really shocked to see Alla and Felisha walk in for their presentation dressed like casual Friday. Helloooo, NYC, Microsoft, big presentation, dress in at least business casual for Pete's sake.
Exactly. Randal and Rebecca were appropriately dressed. Alla and Felicia, not so much.
I think for every task, contestants should be dressed in business suits when making the presentation except, of course, when the task calls for measures such as appearing as the Dairy Queen genie.
I remember one episode of Martha's Apprentice when she commented that someone was in pajamas. I'm not sure why people don't dress up more on these shows. This IS supposed to be a job interview after all.

Well, with one team named Excel, I'm sure the MicroSofters were very disapproving that the other team wasn't named Word.
Bwah!
Bwah!
LOVED Randal squeeing- “I got to see my wife!” If I didn’t love him before I did after that. No way does he not win this. He sure has gotten better looking as the season went on.
I so agree - plus they seem truly in love and happy together. But could Rebecca have looked any less happy to see her boyfriend? At first I couldn't figure out who he was (once it was clear that the woman was Randall's wife) since Rebecca was looking at him like she didn't know who he was? Very odd.

I think word of the reward leaked to Alla & Felicia and they dressed for the reward instead of the Microsoft presentation. Geez. They don’t do professional dress all that much, do they?
What was up with them dressing so casually? And good lord, Felicia, lose the scarf-as-a-belt thing already!

It was fun to see Alla told “sit back down”
So true since she's so used to being in charge and to see that slapdown was superb.
One thing it seems that so many people on this show and the Martha version forget is to keep it simple. When you only have 24 to 48 hours to create something, start to finish, it's best to go with a clean, simple idea/execution that you can do well (R/R's video - kinda vanilla, but it was clean and simple and you got the point quickly) versus trying to layer in all kinds of things (A/F's video - too busy, too much going on, no clear message). After so many seasons of this show, you'd think they'd learn...

I'm seeing this a lot. Trumps WOW (words of wisdom) was about the importance of family and relationships. Since that didn't play into the firing tonight, I have to assume that his WOW was major foreshadowing.
I don't think he intended to fire two. I think Alla was going to be fired, but then Felisha started crying. That sends Donald into the "tough enought for New York" rant and now has to fire both.
Alla and Judd. What a bonus night for me!

My first thoughts with those outfits that Felisha and Alla wore for the presentation? They both should be fired for that!! These are Microsoft Executives, not the manager at Old Navy, for the Pete of sake!
Or maybe he was afraid of having a known slut end up being one of his top execs? How would parents explain that to their children? BTW, I think Randall is more than qualified for the position based on his credentials.
Thank you (except for the slut part...not quite sure what Alla is other than a Robot)...Randal is not exactly some run of the mill black guy from off the street, his credentials and his performance display why he should win.

But on the episode when that happened, Martha had called them back to the conference room later that night for some reason (I believe it was for a reshuffle). So, it would only be natural that the candidates would have been dressed down at that time.

Me too. But given this comment, I wouldn't be too surprised if the surprise is Trump firing both, since Randall was defenseless, and Rebecca would emulate Alla and try to destroy Randall only to also destroy herself for her inability to shut up.
Fire both of them? Dream on, buddy. I think he'll hire both of them.

I think parents who are worried their children would be traumatized by an ex stripper doing something besides walking around with SLUT branded on her forehead, should not let said children watch a television show that a-has an ex stripper on it every week b- is not intended for children. You know, not everything in the world needs to be "for the children", and if Alla could have made it to be The Apprentice, Trump doesn't owe it to anybody's children to explain his hiring decisions.
Topic? My anger/frustration feelings are tied to my tear ducts too so I did feel for Felicia, but I don't think she had a chance even before that. She truly was weak. Alla was hard to manage, but checking in with her every minute doing the "we're still friends, right?" was weak weak weak, and she spent too much time in the boardroom praising Alla instead of listing her OWN strengths.

Did anyone see the Microsoft Livemeeting ad that aired during the commercial break? After the execs went on about how they liked Excel's storyline approach, the commercial that aired was quite abstract. Kinda looked more like Capital Edge's concept, though far less wordy.
I just have this feeling that if she were prettier/younger/sweeter/more docile, she might have stayed.
I don't think it's that at all. That's what really bothers me about her - she thinks she's a "Strong Woman" type who "intimidates weaker people", and uses that as an excuse for being smacked down by anyone. There's a difference between being strong and good and bitchy, and strong and overbearing and incapable of actually collaborating with others and bitchy.

Loved when the four were headed to the pre-task dinner and Rebecca said "Let's go do this.". Rebecca attacks dinner! [tm Jacob]. I know that Randall is the shoe in, but I love watching her operate. I think she's already conquered boyfriend, and is focused on new battles.
The Alla smackdown was great, and Trump wouldn't want somebody that stong willed to be his 'fluffprentice' anyway, better Bill with the fear in his eyes.
So I'm looking forward to a Randall win or the speculated upon double hire, and I hope he doesn't have the YOOOGE ambush planned (a la JenM). I tuned out last season because of that.

Yeah, I saw it and thought it was totally lame too!
My husband, who telecommutes and thus makes a living using Livemeeting pointed out that if *he* were doing the presentation, he would have done it *using Livemeeting* -- particularly apt since Rebecca was on crutches; they could have really played that up, having her call-in from "bed" and remark about how thanks to Livemeeting, she doesn't have to "disobey doctor's orders" to put weight on her leg, make an uncomfortable trip, etc. Maybe *he* should be The Apprentice. No, then he'd work for Trump and I'd lose all respect for him ...

HEE HEE!
I missed the beginning of the show, but as soon as I saw Rebecca freak out about Carolyn's comments I thought it was funny. Felisha and Alla lost their focus (in Alla's words). I couldn't believe the clothing for the presentation. R & R just looked so much more professional. I have to think that Rebecca has shown more than we have seen during these tasks. Randal even commented that he wanted her to win and that she deserved it. The reward.....FANTASTIC! Randal was so cute with the comment about his wife! Rebecca seemed like many others have said. She didn't seem thrilled to see him. Happy to see someone from home, but not necessarily him.
"Sit down Alla"! LOVED IT! It was like she was running away, just in case he would go for firing her too. She just looked shocked. While I think she was a stronger player than Rebecca, I would much prefer Rebecca as my employee than Alla. Alla would be tough for many people to deal with on a regular basis.
I think R & R were standing back along the wall when Trumpy opened it. It was as if they were waiting for Trumpy to enter. Not the usual hanging out on the couch. I wonder if Robin called up and told them to be dressed appropriately. Did anyone else notice on the preview who got the charity softball tournament? I think it was Randal, but I'm not sure. I'll have to re-watch to confirm.

I've lurked for weeks and finally an episode worth commenting on....
-Randall is such a class act- "Rebecca needed a win", loved that. Rebecca won because Randall made it a point to tell her that the hired actor was awful. I think that Rebecca would have gone with the actor if Randall hadn't stepped in.
-Felisha's tacky 'see through' bra straps at the presentation were just awful. And the dayglo! When they first came in I thought they might be dressing as the Microsoft boxes. Those hideous costumes just prove that Alla's stripper days aren't really behind her.
-I can't help but think that Alla purposely tanked that task to get rid of Felisha. Stripper she may be, but Alla is smart and has proved herself since day 1. This horror of a video would never have had her name on it if she hadn't been in executioner mode.
-Rebecca looks so much like Melania that I think she may end up being the apprentice after all!

I'm not as surprised as others by what we saw out of Alla tonight. We had some hints with her leadership of the Bloven early in the season. The way the hate just flowed through her tonight seemed VERY natural. I'll bet she's been like this the whole time and editing has actually been HELPING her. The editors were probably like," We have two choices with Alla: show her true colors, or paint her as the cold, emotionless bitch. Given the footage we have of her, cold and emotionless will be the MORE heroic edit."
Instead of firing Alla, Trump should have just let Carolyn act on her instinct when Alla started interrupting Felisha's crying. Carolyn looked like she would reach across the table and strangle her. Carolyn should have looked at Felisha and Bill and said, "I'll show you how to manage this bitch."
Of the four he had, Trump really had no choice but to keep R & R for the final two. Trump is, after all, a corporation that interacts within a corporate setting. For any strengths Alla or Felisha might have had, those two just wouldn't work in a corporate setting nearly as well as R or R.

I saw it more as her "Al Haig" moment (dating myself); "I'm in charge here." As if she'd done what she'd come to do, and had successfully beaten not only Felisha, but was in command of the boardroom too. She didn't even give Trump a chance to say "get out of here" like he always does, it was "you're fired," and she was up and out of there. Only more out of there than she'd planned on.

Especially qualifications aside, Randall has gotten nothing but the nice guy edit. Starting with his grandmother dying and the funeral to him being excited over seeing his wife tonight. From him being easy to work with and the teams trading him back and forth. From him saying generally nice things about most of his competition and acting like a true gentleman. Do these qualification mean he should get the job? Of course not. But it's not setting him up for a huge smack down because it wouldn't be warranted. What fun is there to watching a smackdown of a genuinely nice guy? That's not good television.

I think that the downfall for Alla and Felisha boiled down to poor ideas and no implementation. The professional editor pointed out that their story map was 2 minutes long and needed to be sixty seconds. Alla being the director should have at least realized that during the filming, and Felisha should have realized this in her role as the PM. Neither one of them started this project with the end product in mind.
Randal and Rebecca were not creative but they had a clear story and kept it simple. Alla in particular really missed an opportunity to be creative and make the project relevant to her life.
For instance, after reflecting last night about how she was missing her son's first steps, she could have put two and two together and thought well this product could enable her to see him do that.
So they could have shot a simple commercial with the actress preparing for a big business pitch but before the meeting, she does a livemeeting with her husband who shows their baby making his first steps or the kids singing happy birthday. I think that would have been a creative take on the product- placing a personal side to the microsoft office product.

I think Trump was going to fire Felisha if CE lost and fire Alla without the interview portion because Trump wanted Randal and Rebecca. That has been clear to me for weeks. I said for weeks now that I think Trump is going to hire Randal and Rebecca. I feel bad for Randal because he will then have to share the glory with someone else unlike Bill, Kelly, and Kendra.
It was Randal who gave Rebecca the win when he called her out while she was directing the actor and told her it was not working. He then proceeded to be a great "actor" for the video.
I found Rebecca cold. First, when the final four were having dinner and Rebecca seemed like she did not want to have dinner with any of them. She almost said as much in her confessional. Then, on the sailboat, she seemed not pleased to have her boyfriend there. If she was, she sure acted cold. I loved watching Randal get a thrill having his wife with him on his reward. The fact that Trump personally ran to the suite to tell Randal and Rebecca they are final 2 shows me he wanted Rebecca in the finals. I don't think he would have went to the suite just for Randal. I feel it should just be Randal who wins.

So true. Most of these reality contestants are so exhausted and stressed out by late in the game that they latch onto anything or anyone from their "real life" like grim death. Rebecca's attitude was more "do I know you?"
And Alla, when someone's criticizing you for not being manageable and cooperative enough, picking a fight with them over that comment isn't the smartest move. I kinda makes their point.

No matter how good Randall is, there are some who will say that he was put up against weak competition so that Trump could hire a black guy. How would you like to go through life with that sort of thing constantly hanging over you? How could you ever enjoy any victory?
I think that a Randall vs. Rebecca showdown will be great--I love them both and think that Trump should hire both. Randall's my favorite male apprentice yet--very real and human. Rebecca kicks ass in the boardroom like no one else. The final boardroom battle will be great no matter what happens on the tasks.
Would Trump fire a guy who acted like Alla did? I'm not so sure. Alla's firing was preordained since her background came out, though--it's not fair, she's great, but it's not like Trump would have ever let her in the final two. I'm stunned that she ever thought she'd get a fair shot.

Funniest part of tonight's episode: An advertisement for Microsoft being edited on an Apple Macintosh computer.
I think if Felicia hadn't caved in to her emotions and started crying, she would have survived. They were clearly siding with her up to that point (Alla was already a goner), but once the water works came on, he couldn't NOT fire her.
I actually think it was up in the air between the two and there was a chance that one could have stayed. But I think they were tossing it up to see who cracked first. Felisha did. But Alla shot herself in the foot by refusing to take some responsibility and by lying in a manner that I think was obvious to Trump and Carolyn. She really came off as almost delusional in her refusal to even consider she had somethign to do with the lose. One minute Felisha can't lead her, the next Felisha led too much.
Count me in as one who thinks both will be hired. Though I would love to see Randall mediocre his task to failure and see Rebecca follow through with typical oversight and lack of cohesive planning. Assuming that both are events. It will be interesting to see who gets called back to serve? Can Trump resist bringing back Markus, Alla, Clay, Melissa, Kristi and Toral? But if Brian, Adam and either of the Jennifers are three of however many return? Trumpy wants a twofer.
And while a huge not-fan of PDA, Rebecca's awkwardness seemed to go beyond that. She is just not that into him.

Wow....now that was a SHOCKER!!! I can't say that I feel bad to see Alla go, because the woman really does have issues with wanting to be in control. Anyway, i'm pulling for Randal to take it, because Rebecca really isn't much competition. I just hope the "Surprise" is not hiring both of the final 2.
When Alla, in her "interview" talked about how she was going to destroy Felisha, while Felisha was talking about how difficult it was to go head to head with a friend, I realized just how black and truly soulless she is in her heart. No, you can't blame anyone but the killer for someone else going out and committing cold-blooded, double murder, but watching her tonight I honestly believe we saw just how malevolent and supremely manipulative a person she is -- a catalyst for horror. And yes, I really do think she's that despicable. So yes, I was *thrilled* when even The Donald, a manipulator himself, decided she was just too, too much.
Word to the wordieth power. As I stated earlier, I never trusted Allatine as far as I could throw her brass pole. Thanks for the told ya so, bitch.

Yep, I did. What was weird is how long she kept looking at said boyfriend as if she didn't know him...
I think Rebecca is a lot colder and more calculating than some may think, plus I hate how she does that "face" -- she lowers her face, bats her eyes and gives a chesire cat smile as if to say "aren't I hot and don't you want me?".
Going up against Randall, I could see her doing anything - even unethical - to win the whole thing. Could be wrong, of course, but just a feeling based on what I saw tonight.
And I agree with the poster upthread who mentioned how much she looks like Melania -- she's kinda the American, 'girl next door' version of Melania...no wonder Trumpie likes her.

I don't think I've seen Rebecca do anything besides break her ankle and stubbornly/stupidly defend Toral. How does that an Apprentice finalist make?
Rebecca has mad boardroom skills. She managed to defend Toral in the third ep, and impress Trump with her loyalty. Then in the fourth ep toral flopped badly and Rebecca impressed Trump with her honesty. Now she has her first victory as a project manager. She'll give Randall a run for his money, though I think Randall will win.
That boardroom was awesome. Felicia was truly doomed. I can't envision anyway that she could have come out of there and gone up. Alla was home free. But she TALKED her way into getting fired as well! The most important skill of an apprentice truly is .... knowing when to shut up. It's amazing how many are bad at that.
The task was won from the beginning. Randall and Rebecca's concept was better and far less cluttered. Even if Alla and Felicia worked together without a ripple of trouble there was no way they were going to win.

That is fucking brilliant. Gutsy, risks being thought of as too clever and cute, but brilliant.

No matter how good Randall is, there are some who will say that he was put up against weak competition so that Trump could hire a black guy. How would you like to go through life with that sort of thing constantly hanging over you? How could you ever enjoy any victory?
Forgive me for saying so, but the fact that the thought even occurred to you vis a vis the show just goes to demonstrate that that kind of thing is probably not new to Randall (or any other successful black man in America). He could have a hundred more degrees and be a thousand times more qualified for anything he ever applies for and it'll always be in the back of *someone's* mind to think "maybe he's an affirmative action hire." I'm *not* accusing you of racism, I'm just trying to say that sadly, African Americans go through life with that kind of thing hanging over them all the time.

I had a feeling that something interesting would happen this evening, but I was thinking along the lines of "let's mix the teams up". Oh well.
Felisha made the mistake that Alla was a friend to her. Alla made the mistake that she was on "Survivor" and not "The Apprentice". I don't think that Felisha would have been so emotionally wrought in the boardroom if she had been with anyone else. She let this "bond" with Alla consume her judgement. She wasn't effective as a leader, but then Alla is a bossy boots. Alla showed what a despicable wench she really is. Trump likes crafty not arrogance. Unless it is him, of course. :P

Heee! I felt like doing that too! When Felisha was talking about the text being Alla's idea -- and Alla said, "shame on you, Felisha!" As if, Felisha was lying!!
Alla, shame on you, dahlink! Now you can get back to looking for "moose and squir-rel."
P.S. Alexis sends her best wishes.

Would Trump fire a guy who acted like Alla did? I'm not so sure.
I think Trump might have punched a guy who acted like Alla did. It wasn't about her being tough, a quality I greatly admire. It was about her treating a friend and colleague with a total lack of respect. Not to beaded pony, but it was demeaningful. Felisha was down for the count, there was no reason to pile on her while she was crying. And I feel bad for Felisha, cause I too cry when I am angry. But then, I'm not trying to work for The Donald.
Randal and his wife have just beaten out Troy and Kwame for me as the cutest couple to ever appear on this show. They were just too cute for works.

"Sit down Alla." Priceless. Seriously, Alla reminds me of a woman I used to work for. She called herself "tough" and "straightforward" when really she was mean and sadistic, and a control freak. That describes Alla. I think Trump and the Viceroys saw that tonight in the Boardroom. I love how sympathetic Carolyn was to Felisha after kind of dissing her last week. Felisha may be too wimpy to work in the corporate world, but Carolyn clearly didnt enjoy seeing Felisha reduced to tears by Alla's bullying.
As for Rebecca being in the final two, I think somehow it makes sense. Yes Randal has it in the bag, but Rebecca was always professional and seems like a decent person. She's also made of sterner stuff than the nice but wimpy Felisha. And while she may not have been as strong as Alla, I think Trump saw Alla's personality and decided that she may be talented, but he doesnt want her working for him. Period. And I'm glad he did it, because people like Alla are nightmare bosses. They're cold, they don't care a whit about their workers' feelings, they are petty control freaks, and they lie and backstab. Just the way Alla said she was "laughing" at a distraught Felisha said everything I needed to know about Alla.
Rebecca's boyfriend was beyond dorky, and Rebecca acted like she barely knew him. I'd be shocked if they were still together.

However, this last one was worth it. "Alla, sit down." This is followed by Trump making the walk back toward the suite. Priceless!
I was on the floor laughing when Trump walked to the suite in slow motion with the final music before the credits. I don't know if it was his idea, Burnett's, or another editor, but someone deserves a cookie. That was awesome!
When Trump said "Alla, sit down", I knew she was going. But before then, I didn't see it coming. I figured all the heartless, cruel comments from her was a set-up for a F2 showdown against Randal. Good Randal vs. Evil Alla. The person who brings puppies to live vs. the person who kill puppies to make her clothes. I guess I was wrong.
I'm with those who thing Felisha might have survived if she didn't burst into tears. And I agree with Carolyn that she was too negative about herself. Knowing how to take responsibility for failures is great (see Kwame), but it's hard to execute, and it can make them weak (see S2 John.)
Rebecca final won as PM. But it did feel like it was more of a partnership between her and Randal then just a leadership. It was nice hearing Randal say that he thought Rebecca deserved a win. I do agree that while Randal and his wife were awesome, Rebecca and her boyfriend seemed a little off. Weird.
Next episodes: Trump has a big surprise? I'm putting my money on a double hiring.

No real argument there. I was thinking inside Trump's head, not Alla's. Except I think, unlike the usual reality show "strong woman who intimidates the weak" type -- she really is that*. As well as overbearing & bitchy & (taking everyone's word on it) incapable of collaborating.
(*that is -- I can see her being intimidating, and that people who are "weak" could be intimidated by her. Not that anyone who doesn't instantly worship her is clearly intimidated and incapable of expressing Her Glory, which she loudly and clearly confessionalizes at any and all opportunities. Or did I miss that, in my what's-in-the-kitchen annoyance this season? And am I making sense? It's late for me here.)

caseyg: Thank you (except for the slut part...not quite sure what Alla is other than a Robot)...Randal is not exactly some run of the mill black guy from off the street, his credentials and his performance display why he should win.
I think Randal credentials and performance shows that he's worthy of the Final 2, where he can go head-to-head against the best competition to see who comes out on top. Trump just took out the person who would probably give him the toughest fight, in favor of someone who hasn't really shown squat all season. Rebecca's biggest credential apparently is refusing to give Trump the chance to fire someone who everyone agreed should have been fired.
I was hoping to see Randal perform under some real pressure -- you know Alla would've brought it and I was so looking forward to seeing those two going at it against each other. Everything's been smooth sailing for him, I wanted to see him respond when the heat gets turned up. We saw that once -- when Trump said that Randal using the wrong station number might be a firing offense -- and when it happened, it looked like a fucking Alien was trying to hatch out of Randal's forehead.
If there really is a double hiring as seems to be the rage, I'm guessing that it's because Rebecca finally shows something that she hasn't all season. That she'll take Randal to the cleaners to the extent that Trump can't justify firing her, so he hires them both. Or Randal does indeed kick her ass but Trump can't let go of the thought of Rebecca not being his next wife, either way. :D

One thing that did bother me was that because Carolyn called Felisha weak in the last boardroom when Felisha came back to the suite she was a different person-insecure, upset, depressed and she went about this task wanting to lead, not wanting to lead and so not sure of herself. I think that contributed to the way CE conducted this whole task. Excel focused on winning this task and Felisha worried more about "shining" for Carolyn. I believe this had alot to do with the task and video becoming messed up.
Good observation, thug. Double hiring wouldn't surprise me either.
But yes, I was caught off guard by the firing of Alla. She was my pick on the Yahoo! fantasy game.
But if Randal or Rebecca won, it would be the first time I would be pleased with Grump's pick.

I like the call on the double hiring. You can bet Trump will make a big deal out of overcoming adversity (i.e. death of a grandmother and broken ankle) during the competition.
I thought Carolyn looked like a shark who had just smelled blood when she saw Felisha crying. It was frightening.
Alla just beat out Tana for the quickest fall from favorite to flop. I wonder if she felt any friendship towards Felisha at all, or if it was just a relationship of convenience.

juiceman - hee! Alexis does indeed send her best. I think Alla might be her type.
Anyway, holy shit – no interview round! I loved Alla! She was all kinds of evil that I aspire to be. I would have loved an Alla v. Randal F2.
Alla’s final favorite quote: “I look down on people who get depressed, with that kind of mentality. I just sit there and laugh.” Evil. But awesome.
Felicia – you went to a Microsoft executive-level meeting in a fucking tank-top? With your bra strap showing??? The hell? My boss would have snidely commented…“heading out on a cruise, are we?”

Carolyn had all reason to look like that. Tears are for the weak! (At least, in front of your superiors).
If you must bawl, do so in your room. AWAY FROM EVERYBODY ELSE. Weak. Weak. WEAK.
It would be great if Grump hired Randal. FINALLY, a brother up in the place. I wonder if Grump has the NAACP riding his back for not hiring any Black folks?

I said for weeks now that I think Trump is going to hire Randal and Rebecca. I feel bad for Randal because he will then have to share the glory with someone else unlike Bill, Kelly, and Kendra.
I will be very annoyed if Randall has to share with Rebecca. I admire Rebecca for sticking with this show with the broken ankle though. Maybe that's what Trump is so impressed by. That, and her beauty.

I certainly hope he hires them both. Saint Randal prolly deserves it, but I'm totally rooting for Rebecca Mars, whose only shot at winning, honestly, is if Saint Randal falls into a bus-accident-related coma :).
I actually feel sorry for Alla. I think she's a great business-person, and I could care less about her personal life or past. She totally got the loser edit there, but she did deserve to be fired after her Boardroom performance. I think she sensed that TD et al were out to get her, and it rattled her into displaying her heartless juggernaut side. If she'd just shut up when TD was asking Felisha about the task, she would probably have survived. Instead she had to draw their attention to herself.
And I disagree that she's difficult to lead. I think she had a valid point in saying that Felisha was too insecure to let her actually function. Perhaps TD felt a certain, eh, kinship with Felisha there? I do agree with those who believe that they should have both been fired for their presentation attire alone.
As to Randal and Rebecca's reward, I'm convinced she's ready to dump her boyfriend and move out to DC to hang out with me. I'd date her if not for the fact that I'm crazy about my boyfriend :P.

If I were Randal or Rebecca, I would be fucking pissed if it was a double hiring. If I'm spending X weeks to be THE Apprentice, not The Apprenti, I want to be IT, damnit. I wouldn't want to have to share the spotlight, responsiblity, and time with top executives. It shows that I wasn't good enough to beat every single candidate.
After all of that, I bet that it is indeed a double hiring.
ETA: I went to the website to see if there was any hint to Felisha's upbrining, and was pleasantly surprised to learn that she is a pilot. That's pretty freaking cool, IMHO.
