The Burktina stuff was cute, and I actually thought the Meredith storyline was funny. I also liked George being a bitchass to her because it was just nice to see him not drooling all over her "greatness" for a change.

That was good.
What little Bailey we had rocked. That line about the penis was good.
Meh was amusing and had chemistry with McD.
The Burke/Christina storyline was very good, though I can't see how she's that messy-and I'm a really messy person. The maid crying line was priceless.
The main story was well done and I enjoyed all the many anvils but the hour was rather meaty with stuff, perhaps too dense.
And of course Alex's dysfunctional behavior should be seen as a good: all us Gizzie fans can hope. The CTV preview though seems to indicate we'll be seeing Angry Izzie, not Cupcake Izzie for a while though, which is sad.
Anyone else feel sorry for poor nurse Syph?

I'm such a big Meredith/McDreamy fan. I don't know why, but I am. I'm kind of glad things are still kind of iffy with Addison. I just don't like the woman. Um, Alex? What the hell. I was really loving this episode, every storyline and every scene and..ugh. Death to Olivia, death to Alex. Izzie..you deserve better. It wasn't until tonight that I saw the potential for Gizzie (George/Izzie), but now I want it, so much. And..I feel kind of dirty for saying that.

So the "shower scene" we've been hearing so much about was Meredith dreaming her one-night-stand was McD?????? Ugh! It wasn't even long... it lasted like 2 seconds. I'm MAD!!!! Then McD with his asshole comments about he met a girl once at Joe's Bar... a long time ago. I wanted to slap him for Meredith!
I didn't take issue with Mer having sex with tons of guys... she's trying to fill that void in her life that McD left... she's trying to move on, she's just not doing it in the best way. What an ass McD is by acting jealous when they were in surgury... God.. this guy is bugging me BIG TIME!

Yes! The "What's up?" line had me giggling for 5 minutes. I just love this show.
Hating Alex. Not looking forward to possibly losing one of the quints next week. Hope they make it.
Tonight the patient life analogy of the week wasn't a life lesson for Meh, but Alex. Who, sadly, missed the point it seems.

Lifehouse aside I thought this was a terrific episode, my favourite of the season. From Cristina's house confessions to Meredith and Cristina's looks when they noticed Meredith's friend's problem. I was hoping they weren't going to go that route with Alex, and you just knew Izzy would stumble upon them at some point, poor Izzy. Hopefully this time Olivia will give an STD to Alex.
I was a bit off-put by McD's reaction to Meredith's guy friend. It didn't seem that professional and it definitely was a bit too possessive for my taste. I don't see why he should care what Meredith chooses to do in her spare time, he chose Addison.
I don't think I could love this show anymore, still I don't want to see toilet guy again.

Poor Izzie ... can't imagine how hard it would be to see that then have to go right into an extremely stressful surgery.
I found the quints storyline very moving and thought it was well-done. Looking foward to seeing how things turn out next week.

Also good: Meh wavering over giving Burke an enema.
Better: Burke and Christina having wild crazy sex in her wild crazy apartment (my room's been that messy too!).

Couple of thoughts:
George was SO cute when he was telling Izzie that he wouldn't 'do' her no matter how much she asked!! They are very cute together but in a sibling way I think. No Gizzie-shipping here.
I hated when Meh asked George (very defensively) if he was accusing her of being 'some kind of slut'. Firstly, how many 'kinds' are there? and Secondly, well YEAH!!! Mere, you are behaving sluttily! Now, there is nothing inherently WRONG with this - if you are having lots of sex and are enjoying it, being safe and not hurting anyone (including yourself) then that's fine, no judgement here. But I think the lady doth protest too much! Call it like it is!
Izzie, Alex is hot & sexy as all get out. I understand. But he's a little, little boy and he's just not worth it. Sorry.

Alex has made it back onto my tv shit list. Olivia isn't even that hot, especially compared to Izzy. I think that was the problem though, he was too concerned about impressing her or whatnot, so he banged Nurse Syph to assuage his fears that his manhood wasn't fading away. I hope Izzy rips him a serious new one.
Burke makes my poor heart beat a little faster every Sunday. Convenient. He was pushing Xtina a TAD too hard, though.
McD was being a total ass. He had no place to be jealous. I liked Meh's "It gets better." I hope Meh finds some peace.
Boner Boy was pretty cute. I was glad he wasn't taking Viagara for fun like too many guys my age do.
