Yeah, I could wrap around that, Bob...LOL........LOL......

I know this doesn't really count as a wish but this is just a possibility I was thinking about. What if the final few episodes (of the infamous 10 episod arc) are seen with a grand scope, spreading over many years, with a Promise-esque format where something tha thappens in episode '1' doesn't make complete sense until the end of episode '5.' And the episodes could be given the name of the fcharacter with whom its centered on (e.g. Lana, Chloie, Lex and ending with Clark). It's a half baked scheme but it was stuck in my head.

Might be interesting on any other show.

On Smallville? My concern would be the massive amount of Offscreenville character advancement we would get.

- Lois would be a kick-ass reporter at the Daily Planet and in love with Clark.
- Clark would be a heroic, noble, selfless hero, working at the Daily Planet
- Lex would be evil, competent and scary
- Chloe would be dead, killed off-screen but clearly having motivates everyone else to become their iconic selves. Clark and Lois would have realized their true feelings by flirting over her still warm corpse.
- Lana would be... hell, Pope or something.

We have enough trouble with lightswitches, selective amnesia and stalled development as is. I dread the thought of what these writers would do if they could just magically advance everyone to endgame without showing how it happened.

Then again, we might get that in season seven, anyway.

I had another random thought (as most of mine are) about something for Season 8. What if the Daily Planet has some kind of Bachelor/Bachelorette auction and Clark was somehow roped into being auctioned off? First of all, hopefully, we'd get to see TW in a tux. I was thinking that if "Tess" was the one who bought him, that could be the "meet-cute" that TPTB love so much. Or maybe Clark is auctioned off, but Chloe buys him because she can't stand to see anyone else "buy him" so it forces them to go out on a date? Or what if the roles were reversed and jealous Clark buys Chloe? I don't see any of this actually happening. I'm just letting my imagination flow.
If anyone wanted to write a fan fic on any of these ideas, I'd be interested to read it...:-)

This strikes me a potentially classless, tacky, exploitive way to drop lots of Clois anvils when Lois "buys" a half nekkid Clark. Chloe can look on sadly.

I expect to see it for November sweeps.

I see you November and raise it to one of the first three episodes of the season. I even have the title: Bachelor.

Not that I think the bachelor auction would EVER be a real idea (although you never know),but I would be very sad if they used it for Clois.
