"Remember that time we almost made the recapper quit, or kill himself, or quit then kill himself? Was that Season Four? I think it was Season Four. Ah, good times..."
Ha!
I'd love to see them all trapped together during a storm. Scout. The roads are impassible, they have nowhere to go. Tempers flare. People say things that they've been bottling up for years. Everyone just hashes it out and at the end, there are no mindwhammies or convenient amnesia.
Word,

LOL You know, there was a scene in Superman Returns where it seems like he deliberately throws the ball that far. I loved the Clark/Superman character in the movie, but that really pissed me off, so if they don't want me to go from really liking Clark a good bit of the time to completely disliking Clark, SV's Clark better play nice. Who's going to want a Superman who toys with a puppy's emotions like that?
When I saw that moment in SR and the dog looks back at him, my thoughts were the dog was asking "Why do you always have to be such an asshole?"

There should be a fakeout.
As the storm lets up and everyone starts to leave, Chloe stops Lana:
Chloe: Listen, I'd like to apologize.
Lana: Everyone was stressed out from the storm.
Chloe: No, you didn't let me finish. I'd
like to apologize... out of reflex, because everyone's always apologizing to you. But I can't this time because I meant everything I said. Maybe I could have found a different, gentler way to say them, being a writer and all, but sometimes blunt is the way to go. You're a piss poor friend, you toy with people's emotions, you're a passive-aggressive victim and you should just hand out numbers to all the young men in town instead of having them line up to be your backup boyfriends. Have a safe drive home, you bitchy squirrel.

cyb - That is so blunt. Gosh, I wish they would be that blunt sometimes on the show. I loved Chloe and Lex's little catty fight in Hypnotic. That was some good stuff. KK does bitchy well and so does AM. They should let them have some fun with some vicious barbs.
AREA 51 This isn't an ultimate wish or anything, but I thought it'd be fun if they did an AREA 51 episode. "The X-files" and "Roswell" explored the alien/Area 51 subculture in humorous episodes and I think "Smallville" could easily do something similar. Maybe they could combine it with a ROADTRIP episode where Chloe gets an assignment/tip on some big alien news story bc of a bizarre incident and she and Clark go to investigate and find Lex is already there doing the same thing. Perry said Chloe had a reputation among the bug-eyed circles and they could talk about how popular Chloe is among alien fanboys (and fangirls) online. "Angel" did an episode where he visited a comic book store and the clerk talked about him as being semi-famous as an urban myth and the subject of chatrooms. It's a nice set up for some shout outs and to poke fun at themselves and the fans. There would be lots of room to make fun of the little green men stereotype and what aliens would look like. Plus, they could explore/emphasize that Clark isn't like Batman, Green Arrow, Batchica, or any of the other superhumans because he isn't HUMAN at all. It's a big difference for his story. They could even meet up with alien haters who want to track them down to kill them or protect us from the threat. I think that be a lot more worthwhile than yet another generic kryptofreak bc it would really be about Clark and the characters' xenophobia or lack thereof.

Inspired by the Siteville posts hoping that we'd get a Lana-free episode:
There should be an episode where Lex and Lana literally "become one." Due to a freak "meteor rock" accident, they're merged into one being. This can be accomplished by putting a long dark wig on Michael Rosenbaum and having him return to his slightly swishy walk of S1. They can just use old footage of Lana before the melding and explain her absence post-resolution with some exposition from Lex: "She doesn't want to talk to me... she says she needs some time alone after seeing what I'm really like. Also, she's mad that when we came onto Clark, it was mostly me doing it." This would give Kristin Kreuk some time off to go promote Partition or whatever. Everybody wins!
Or they can just say she went to Bitch Camp to learn how to be a bigger bitch.

I'm gonna limit myself to one wish lest I leap into rant mode and that wouldn't be good for anyone...
My one wish is a slight cosmetic change to the climax of "Crusade" where Clark had become Kal-El, learning to fly*, meeting Nois, etc. At the end when Martha spiked Kal/Clark with the black K, and he split in half, I would have Clark and Kal-El merge together only have Clark being the dominant persona.
This way there's always the danger that the Kal persona could come back (like when Mulana was having her "Charmed" moment) and we'd learn that that side of Clark is more familiar with Krypton, including little tidbits like, I dunno, if Jarnelle says something really hard to understand like "Kill the vessel" to just frickin' do it then cry like a baby at Lex's funeral. The next time someone tosses out a cryptic reference to Clark's potential for evil it won't feel like we're getting snowed because we know that there's inside Clark the potential to be almost as bad as Zod**.
Also this way when Clark finds the Fortress of Crystal Dildotude*** Jarnelle won't have to use Kryptonian See 'N Say to make Clark understand about Krypton.
*feel free to reference Tom Petty if you wanna
**I felt dumb just writing that but roll with me here
***I'm officially copyrighting that one

A great storyline for S6 would be :
Lex remembers everything from Vessel, but pretends to remember nothing to fool Clark into a false sense of security. Determined to gain revenge on Clark, Level 33.1 is re-opened to start breeding FOTW's. Lex's half brother Lucas (from S2's Prodigal) is brought back to run the day to day operations, whose influence causes Lex to get even darker ( even Lionel called him a sociopath). Lionel works in secret to regain his company from Lex and works with Clark feeding him secrets about Level 33.1. From there you could have Lex kill off Lionel after learning about his betryal, frame Lucas for it, and then be the sole Luthor left on the show changing the company name to Lexcorp. This would be the start of Lex's enterprise and cement him in villain status. It would also establish a rivalry between Clark and Lex based on Clark turning Lionel against Lex, and Lionel ultimately choosing Clark over him. I would much rather see the rivalry based on this, then over Lex stealing Lana.

Dude, I'd rather the Clex rivalry be over who the best dancer is than Lana. Imagine: future Lex Luthor and Superman training all year round, meeting a top the DP or in Lex's Secret Lair to battle it out through breakdance, repeatedly exchanging the phrase, "you got served!". And if they wanted to do this shirtless, I wouldn't object.
But here's my wish for the day: I want Mex. I want just even one Mex scene in s6. I don't care if they bake muffins, have a bitchy fight over the MB/Clark, have a bittersweet and/or heated discussion of the past, whatever! Just get those two together! The last was what? Transference? Doesn't count in my book, so I'll take it back to Heat. And even if they wanna go the hot, dirty wrong route, I'll take it (a reversal of what Lionel did with Victoria, if you will). At this point, I'm not picky.

My wish: Lana meets her ultimate stalker.
Grim Reaper: Hello, darling Lana.
Lana: Who are you?
Grim Reaper: I'm Death. You can call me Grimmy, though. I've been in love with you for years.
Lana: Do you mean to say you've been stalking me all this time?
Grim Reaper: Guilty as charged!
Lana: And you're the one responsible for the tornadoes coming after me, and all those meteor mutants, and possibly the meteors themselves?
Grim Reaper: And that one horse!
Lana: Well... at least you're honest with me. Tell you what, if things don't work out with Lex, you can be my new boyfriend.

I was watching Superman:the Animated Series this weekend and I got a great idea for a Lois episode. On the audio commentary for Mxypixilated, Paul Dini talked about his favorite issue of the Lois Lane comic book. In the issue, Lois get turned into a centaur and eventually turns completely into a horse. She then goes on to have a relationship with Comet the Super Horse. This would make the perfect Lois Lane episode because 1) having a relationship with Comet would be the kind of anvil that TPTB seem to love for Lois since they are always using her love life as a way of dropping the hints of future Clois; and 2) horses can't talk.
Also, I would like to see
Titano, because apes are fun.

I want a Lex-centric episode on par with Lexmas or Oynx.

I thought it was a newly created neighborhood that Lex built that was going to be low income housing and this started at the dedication ceremony so the buildings were still empty.
Of course, it still sucks that Superman destroys what could have been affordable housing for hundreds (if not thousands) of poor families.

Heh..I stand corrected then. I never saw the episode so I didn't have the scene in it's full context. But when every light in the building is on I figured they were already occupied. But it does make sense that they wouldn't.

I thought of this one last night.
I would love to see Clark and Chloe testing his powers; just simple at the beginning of an epsidoe maybe with Clark standing in the middle of the road and Chloe driving up beside him.
"Clark, that was 1/8 of a mile."
"In one jump?"
"In a single bound!"
Yeah, it's cheese, but I like cheese.
More Breaking & Entering!Chloe, smart!Clark, Kents & Sullivan famlies, and everything else faerie wings said would be great also. I also love that random simple save thing; they did it on LnC and it worked beautifully.

I wish Chloe and Lex would get kidnapped together and have to work together to save themselves. I've always enjoyed MR/AM scenes and I think they would make a really cool team against a common foe. A big part of "Mercy" that I enjoyed was seeing Clark/Chloe/Lex work as a team to save the parents.
Given the level 33.1 investigation, I'd want to see what Chloe and Lex would say to each other if left alone without the focus being Clark or Lana or Clana. Lex and Chloe have similar personalities (curious, ambitious, smart, defensive, snarky) and similar weaknesses (their mothers, feeling unloved) so I think there is enough there for some good and unexpected conversations. Chlex don't get enough scenes together which is a shame when the actors work so well together.
Firebunny
Jan 30, 2007 @ 12:20 pm
Oooh, Massena, that would make an excellent episode. They could work through all their issues and make a connection and they decide they can actually trust one another. Then Clark comes to save them and Chloe has to knock Lex out so he won't see it, in effect, betraying Lex to protect Clark.
Massena1
Jan 30, 2007 @ 12:26 pm
Firebunny - Glad you'd like to see it, too. I thought it'd be ironic if Chloe gets locked up by a FOTW while investigating 33.1 and the FOTW turns on Lex and puts him in with Chloe. So, it's not like they suddenly like each other. Lex would lie about his involvement. Chloe would know the truth, but have no proof. The psychology of joining forces with your enemy and perhaps having some level of new understanding with them intrigues me. I was thinking something like when Lex is on the island alone and goes nuts a bit. Let them go without food and drink and get tired and scared together over the course of a week and have Clark and Lana not know how to find them. Like an episode of "Without a Trace" or some other criminal drama where you follow the police over days of searching for people.
Last season, Lex saved Chloe in "Thirst" by injecting her with the cure and Chloe brought Lex back to life in "Void" by injecting him with the antidote. And they killed a woman together in "Hypnotic." And so far, I can't recall one Chlex scene being mentioned by anyone which is a shame. Chlex should be thrown together in as many scenes as possible because the actors are fantastic together.

My wishlist --
- Clark *really* moves on from Lana and focuses on saving-the-world stuff.
- An all out Chlark (good) VS. Lexana (evil).
- More Chlex and Chlionel scenes.
- Lois in permanent exile.
- Martha being more parental than she's been this season
- Some mention that the kids are attending college.
- Romantic Chlark would be the icing on the cake.

I've been on the Chlark train for so long...but with the return of the Clana, I just can't help but feel that Chloe is too good to get mixed up with Clark's bullshit rationalizations for his shit choices. I'm SO ready for some Chlex.
I'd like to see Lexana be revealed as a sham by the end of S6. I'll be willing to take an "if you can't beat 'em..." attitude with the Clana and let them just be together, maybe with Lois tossed in to create a triangle. Yes, I know, it sounds like torture, but I'm not sure if having Clark tempted by another woman after he and Lana finally get together wouldn't be a real treat. Anyway, blahblahClana, the point is that such a set up would leave Chloe and Lex to their own damned sexy devices. I'm still down for Chloe turning evil (an unpopular opinion, I know) or maybe Lex becoming a better man due to Chloe's influence...maybe something happens to Chloe, and it fuels more Clex hatred...but from Lex's side. Who knows. I'd just love to see some more Chlex. It could be the saving grace I'm hoping for....
Massena1

I'm very fond of the "what goes around comes around" life philosophy so Chlex giving Clana a reason to be a bit insecure would make me grin like a cheshire cat. Clark and Lana are use to Lex and Chloe acting like the world revolves around Clark and Lana. I'd like to see the world revolve around Chloe and Lex for just one episode.
