I was thinking today about characters from different shows who would have been good together. Anybody else ever have thoughts like these?

Anya from Buffy and Kirk from Gilmore Girls - They are both quirky characters and I would love to see Kirk trying to deal with Anya talking about their sex life all the time.

Sam from ER and Dean from Supernatural - They have both got this tough as nails exterior with an underlying vulnerability. I could totally see Sam running around killing evil things with Dean.

C.J. from "The West Wing" and House from, um, "House." He's tall, and she likes that in a man. And she can stand up to him, literally and figuratively.

And, come to think of it, that's about all the shows I watch that have hook-upable characters. And I don't even watch "The West Wing" any more.

I always kinda rooted for Dr. Weston (Empty Nest) and Rose (Golden Girls) to hook up.

Maybe not a "hook up" in the romantic sense, but Dr. Cox from Scrubs and Dr. House would be fun to see in a scene together. The sheer amounts of snark might make my TV explode though.

Just for laughs I would love to see Lorelai from Gilmore Girls and Spike from Buffy hook up. The snark, the fights, the asskickin'. Weird but hilarious IMHO.

Also Emily from GG and Cordielia from BtvS and Angel. Just put them in a room together and watch the SnarkageGalore!

Jadzia Dax from ST:Deep Space Nine and Spock from ST: TOS. Ever since the "Tribbles and Tribulations" episode on DS9, where she admits that she finds him sexy, I thought they would be a cute couple. She's brainy; he's logical. She would try to get him to lighten up; he'd lecture her. They'd kick ass together on any away mission they were sent on.

Chloe Sullivan from Smallville and Duncan or Logan or Weevil or Wallace from Veronica Mars. The men of Neptune seem to be much more receptive to cute, spunky, inquisitive blondes than the guys in Smallville.

Lex Luthor from Smallville and Dr. Molly McCaffrey from Threshold. They're both scientists who study aliens! Lex could use his billions to fund whatever project she wanted, and they're both sexy as hell. Score!

Heh! I was just thinking I'd love for Chloe to get with Dean from Supernatural. She's independent enough to deal with having a boyfriend who's on the road most of the year and they'd be able to help each other out with all the odditities they come across. He would appreciate her hotness and stash of weaponry.

Okay, a weird one: Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli from Happy Days (first few seasons) with Faith from Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Each of them is the only person who could actually challenge the other. I smell fanfic!

For an ABC crossover, Carlos Solis and Dr. Addison Shepherd. I just think they'd look so pretty together.

I can't exactly see them as a couple but I'd really like to see them talking or just meeting somewhere: Monk and Bree from Desperate Housewives. OCD OTP, maybe?

I read something in TV Guide a few years ago that thought Lorelai from "Gilmore Girls" and Ed Stevens from "Ed" would make a cute, quirky couple. I must say, I thought that was a good idea.

I always hoped for an interfranchise relationship: Tim Speedle (RIP) from CSI:Miami and Sara Sidle from CSI Regular. Two hot and cranky people, made for each other. Calleigh Ducaninge (or however she spells it) and Nick Stokes would be a good couple too.

I happen to think that Catherine from Original should ditch Vegas and hook up with HoCaine in Miami. Since she kind of sucks now he has always been lame, it would be a perfect pairing. Plus it would give her the day shift she's been bitch about and it would get her out of the picture so the Young'Uns take over the lab in Vegas.

If Lorelai Gilmore hooks up with anyone from Buffy (which will only be possible if Luke croaks) it should be Giles, not Spike. She could tease him even more than Jenny Calendar used to do, plus she's never shown any attraction to "bad boys" like Spike. The age difference might be a problem but nowhere near as great as Spike's sadomasochistic tendencies would be for her.

Clark Kent would bore Veronica Mars, big time.

This only works if she dies a horrible, bloody, excruciatingly painful death from some evil monster and Dean dumps her body in the river after setting the whole thing up.

Lindsey from Angel should come back from the dead and be transported to the island on Lost.

Darla and Drusilla should visit ER and kill everybody.

On that note, Lilah should come back from the dead and hook up with Dr. House.

Man, everyone is playing matchmaker for Dr. House.
But how about Veronica Mars and Xander Harris? In some way, that really fits.
I do agree with pairing Gil from CSI with Dr. Brennan from "Bones"...much better choice than Seeley "I'll call you Bones if I want to because I'm the FBI agent and you're not" Booth.

If you're talking about the confident S4 variety Xander it might work, davidmello, but high school Xander? I don't think so. His lack of self-confidence would be a noticeable turnoff for her, IMO.

Veronica/Mac maybe, if either develops a gay/bi streak neither has yet shown, perhaps?

On 24, I hate Jack and Audrey together because I couldn't understand why Jack would put up with someone as whiny as she is.

Which is why Jack Bauer and Irina Derevko should hook up. I don't care about the age difference. They would kick so much ass.

I'm going to be the first to suggest a non-romantic pairing I've been dying to see: Andre Braugher from Homicide joining up with Vincent D'onofrio of LO: CI. I love the intensity of Braugher and the ingeniousness of how D'onofrio's character breaks the psyche of his perps. To see Pembleton and Goren (Braugher and VDO) do one episode together, working together as cops. . . I'd die of happiness. Never gonna happen though.

Braugher and D'Onofrio did do an episode of Homicide together. I think it was called "Subway." If that's not right, I can tell you for sure that it's the one where they guy (D'Onofrio) got caught between the subway car and the tunnel wall, and was dying, and Pembleton was the one who had to talk to him to figure out who may have pushed him into that spot.

Yup. Then the ex-Wolfram and Hart-ers could form their own faction. I'll take Lindsey, Holland, and Gavin over Jack any day.

When we saw that Holland (except he's Bernard now) had joined Gavin (except he's *drool* Jin now) on the island, a friend of mine suggested Lilah should be next. I know she meant Stephanie Romanov as a new character, but I would love to see Lilah butting heads with Sayid. She's too much for Jack, and poor Sawyer has enough problems right now, but I think Sayid could handle her. I don't even mean they should necessarily be a romantic couple, but I'd love to see them together in whatever way.

I'm sorry, no one belongs with Casey but Dana ;-) But Janel and Peter had some nice chemistry together (and a 'gunmetal' grey tie) on Sports Night.

And since we seem to have doctors on the brain, how about Doug Ross (the original Dr. McDreamy) and Merideth Grey.

This will make no sense, but I think Sark from Alias should become somehow entangled with Spike and/or Faye from Cowboy Bebop. Of course, this would require him to become cryogenically frozen and thawed out in the future and he'd have to be drawn as an anime character, but yeah. Maybe not a romantic connection with Spike though.

I'd like to see Grace from Grace Under Fire hook up with Angel of Angel. Angel takes himself much too seriously and Grace likes to tease. I would love to see her tear him apart over his angsty champion bit.

My SciFi crossover hookup has to be Seven of Nine (Voyager) + Six (of Twelve)(Battlestar Gallactica.) They're can bond over how humans just don't "get" them.

They're both monotheistic - Worshipping "Omega", in the Borg case; and "God" in the Cylon's case. They both have, to varying degrees, synthetic parts that make them physically superior to humans. They're both tall, blonde, and .... hawt. They both have numerical designations for names. The list goes on and on.

And together, they could make my TV explode.

That would be excellent.

Lana Lang from Smallville and Marvin the paranoid android from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. They could mope at each other for all eternity and create a black hole of sadness.

Once Sam from Supernatural has gotten over the pain of losing Jess, I think he and Veronica Mars would make a good pair.

I wouldn't mind seeing Martha Kent from Smallville and Jack Bristow from Alias hooking up. I just know there's a bubbling cauldron of hot action and adventure just beneath her farm wife exterior.

I think Lilah Morgan from Angel would be smoking hot with Lex Luthor. They could snark at each other and be secretly manipulating each other. And we all know she falls for men who are already in love with big, brooding, dark haired heros.

I also think Veronica Mars would be great with Dr. House if she were closer to his age. They both have trust issues and together could figure out all the various ways people are lying to them.

I think Angela from My So-Called Life and Eli from Once and Again would make a great couple. Or at least she could obsess about how deep he is from afar.

I also always thought Buffy would have gotten along well with Gunn from Angel. I'm not sure why.

Oh, and high school Xander and Summer from The O.C. because he's pretty much the original Seth.

Forrest from Buffy and Clark Kent because Forrest was always totally in love with Riley and who is Clark really but Riley with superpowers?

And just for the hell of it, Cordelia Chase and Kendall Casablancas.
