Four people fired? In one BR?

Yeah, baby!!!!!!!!!!!!
ladolce
HOLY SHIT.

For once, I am not disappointed by the previews!
jonathanacohen
Best. Boardroom Firing. Ever.

I need to smoke four cigarettes after that one.
Brent724
I'm speechless.
CaptainSnarky
I need a cigarette.

No, make that four cigarettes.
MarchingOcelot
That? Was just so many layers of awesome piled into one.

Also, the fact that they all had to pile into one taxi took them all down a much needed peg and was entirely hilarious and wow, so awesome.

Even Robin sounded kind of disgusted by their loss.
kenyaj
Mass layoffs? Dayum. Just when I thought this show couldn't surprise me anymore. That last shot of the four of them uncomfortably stuffed into the cab was hilarious.
Cubanita
Okay. Daaaaaaaaammn! WHUT?! AND they all had to share the same cab?
shibamom
Best. Cabride. Ever.
Jodeci
Best cab-terview EVER! The four of them sitting soooo uncomfortably all in the backseat…priceless!

But I completely disagree with firing all four of them. I would have liked to have seen more of Mark and James (mostly because he’s pretty). But I was really starting to like Mark.

I thought for sure at the beginning when they did the team switching that Josh’s team (I can’t remember the names of the teams anymore) would kick Alla’s ass. I mean, Markus? And Clay? I thought they were going down in flames.

Too bad I didn’t have any alcohol to drink whenever someone said “At the end of the day”. I’d be wasted right now.
EricBNYC
Finally!! A "Step up to the plate" metaphor on a task that ACTUALLY involved baseball!! (At least a little...)
radiostar
That was pretty awesome, but I don't think I agree with it - the two guys in the batting cage (I want to say Mark and ....Ryan? (as it turns out, James. I feel as though I should know more names by this point in the season.) shouldn't have been fired, I don't think. Sure, it was a sales task, but once they were assigned to work the batting cage, what were they supposed to do, tell the line of kids waiting that they weren't selling enough stuff and so they were going to have to shut it down?
KatieKat01
My head just exploded. Because the boardroom first was ACTUALLY a boardroom first!

So does this cut the season short by three eps or what?
tiggeril
Was it good for you? It was damn good for me.
greeneyesdm
That shot of them in the cab all pressed together and looking like they wanted to throw up? Priceless.

Funniest Apprentice ever.
ghettofabman
Damn! I was only joking about the taxi ride to Sequesterville in the Spoilers.....Who knew that I was actually right?? That was a crowded ass ride to sequester! Dayum!

The silence in the taxi was too funny.
Culturemaven
Holy Shit.

That totally lived up to the hype in the ads.

That was awesome.
Eliot
The only thing I enjoyed more than that boardroom was the long, silent, uncomfortable cab ride afterward.

SWEET!
MyEyesSee
Never thought I'd say this but...I am SO Trump's bitch. WOW!
zeuzeuze
Can someone pass me my jaw? I think I left it on the Boardroom floor. Oh, and best cab ride interview. Ever.
dmorris275
Hahahahahaha!

Four down at once? I haven't laughed so hard at an ep in a long time! And the cab ride with the four was priceless!
DeVryGuy
The akward silence cabterview was AWESOME beyond AWESOME.
Sarkygal
HOLY SHIT.

I fell off my couch. Damn, Trump looked like he wanted to bitchslap every single one of them.
Mischievious
Oh my goodness! That was great. So not taking it off my dvr.

Also, I never realized Carolyn had a personality. I liked her in this episode.

Oooo, maybe Excel will become Brian, Rebecca, Marsaun and Randall. That would be great.

ETA: Brian, not Adam. Sorry.
riffola
I was glad that Rebecca & Marshawn were praised rightly in the boardroom.

The cab ride was hilarious. I wish they'd shown more of it.
dreamy
Send ‘em all home in the same freakin’ cab! That is the best reality TV moment EVAH!!! OK, maybe not the best, but gotta be in the top five.

Brother Bill, please stop nodding at DT like a bobble head doll. You got the job.

“Life continues.” Trump as philosopher.

I had other thoughts, but honestly, they flew out of my head after I saw them crammed in the back seat of the same cab, totally silent. Beautous.
LahLah
Whoa whoa!?! What just happened?
That was kinda cool because I totally wasn't expecting that.
Too bad we never got to see what James was made of, other than his baseball skills? He was never PM right?

Rebecca and Marshawn are being set up lovely for the final 4.
CookieChica
For once, I was actually shocked by a reality show. Four people fired? That's awesome.

Bye Jen!
Indecisive
God I'm glad I watched that.
Bassari99
WTF! What, are they just trying to accommodate a shorter season? Yes, Excel was miserable, but why fire four people in one shot other than for the sheer shock value of it. I could have settled for Trump firing Jennifer because she opened her mouth about being the sales queen, but wasn’t it Josh’s responsibility as project manager to focus the team on the sales aspect of the task? Either Josh or Jenn should have been let go.
Stardancer2001
Dayum! Just when you think that Trump couldn't top himself....

I laughed so hard when all 4 of the firees were jammed into one cab! I have to finish laughing and post later.
JennaC
Damn. I'am speechless.
lessa2010
Um, that was disappointing. Ho hum.
Thena
The best part was the awkward taxi piling. That made me laugh out loud.

It was a disgusting loss: -34%?! Man, I can't wait for the recap.
blueguy
OUCH!

Donald - you the man!

Finally something done right on this show and worth talking about!
SeaBreeze341
Upon speculation of tonight's show (and the info/spoilers with it), I guess that explains how Alla and Felisha survive: they win.

And Excel: It was like someone on TAR losing because he or she didn't understand the details before climbing stairs, or driving two hours in the wrong direction, or choosing the wrong detour. One mistake is all it takes to lose.

Then I was worried about the fact that it was curtains for Rebecca and Marshawn, and then Trump pretty much told Josh to go fuck himself, sparing the former and the latter (which is fair enough considering how many females are left).
Koomaster
Totally speechless... wow!

Along with this massive firing, can we finally also fire the phrase, "Step up to the plate"?
fromMA
Montauk is the sport fishing capital of the world? And we see a flounder caught? lol

Also loved to see the 4 of the losers fit into the back seat of a NYC cab.
Lily Bart

Also, the fact that they all had to pile into one taxi took them all down a much needed peg and was entirely hilarious and wow, so awesome.[/quote]

I was cracking up at that. So squished and sad. Awkward.

Hee. That? Kicked ass.

ETA: Who's going to tell the others what happened?
Wacoshade
Two words:

Fucking awesome.

Suck on that backseat-cab-riding douchebags!
McGlory13
Holy shit. For once the boardroom lived up to its hype. That was freaking awesome. I've always wanted the Donald to just fire the lot of them, and he finally did it for me. Unfortunately it was the wrong team.
seneca724
Alla impressed the hell out of me. And that boardroom...pfew, too good.
village
What the--I mean, what the HELL??!?

This is my jaw hitting the floor. What the hell.

As much as I enjoyed that did all four really have to go? There was no reason for that. I was totally expecting a double firing of Josh and Jenn but the other two? Unneccesary ... and yes AWESOME.
Bubbacat
The hell?!? Whoa, that was great. And then? Most. Un. Comfortable. Taxi. Ride. EVER.

And uh, Markus? Show us again how to open a bottle with a knife.
risingsun
WTF? I'm speechless!
catbat
That was incredibly satisfying.

But Trump didn't tell anyone to "shut the hell up" like in the previews...! I wanted that so bad.
CassieJo
I loved the quiet cabterview. Was Jenn on someone's lap?

Josh and his pricky "losing to 'them'" Buh-bye.
ladolce
So now will there be episodes with no firings so the season is as long as it usually is? Or will the season be cut short? I have a hard time believing Burnett/Trump would let that happen.
quaintirene
Alla, I love her! Stripper or no she has an excellent chance of winning this game. She's the kind of tough, focussed, unsentimental Russian woman you see on Law &Order--and not in a good way! The one who is the banker for the Mafiya and ends up leaving the others in the lurch while she hightails it out of town with the $$$$$.

Shame the Clive Owen lookalike eye-candy has to go.
ScaryFairy1
Now that? Was awesome. All four of them deserved it.

I don't think we've ever seen a task where a team lost money before.

And the cab ride to oblivious? Hi-fucking-larious. I had to light a cigarette after that.

My huuuuge beef right now is that if Marshawn, Rebecca, and Brian were relatively aweomse compared to the four yahoos, how come we only saw Rebecca selling a baseball bat and Brian and Rebecca chatting on the sales floor?

Yet, everyone else on the team said the three of them were the only ones sellling. How about actually showing us?

Still trying to figure out why Caroline took Markus aside to chat him up.

Oh, and Markus seems to get more toolish with each episode.
