Magsi2
Hi guys. I feel like I'm behind. I've been to reno for the weekend and forgot the fantasy game started this week..oops! Now that I think I'm caught up, the video on NBC.com shows the candidates running on the golf course. I'm going to guess that this is how Trumpy nearly gets "run over" by someone. It looks like a guy in the preview. I'm going for the one that the slaps on the shoulder as he runs past with the white/light colored shirt (as opposed to the ones who look like they're running with their jackets on).
He also said that "this guy sure talks alot". I'm also trying to decide who likes the yellow car. I don't recognize the faces yet. Is it Brian?
Here are my answers to the yahoo:
1. age, but I think it will not be younger/older. Maybe he'll split it like the older girls/younger guys and older guys/younger girls or something odd like that.
2. Chris to "run over" Trump
3. The "huge advantage" will be Being New Yorkers
4. Who will say "The one thing I never want said about me is that I shrunk from a challenge"? Brian
5. Toral will say that that Alla is difficult
6. During the task, Josh will say that this candidate "was frazzled, (he/she) was confused, (he/she) couldn't make a decision." Who will he refer to? Markus
7. During the task, Kristi will say that this candidate "sucks and (he/she) needs to be fired." Who is she referring to? Adam (He just seemed whiny to me)
8. I have Clay for the talkative one simply because of Trump's "guy" comment. If not him I'd go for Kristi
9. In the boardroom, who will George consider a "disruptive influence" on his/her corporation? Toral (I just get bad attitude all over from her)
10. Which candidate will be fired this week? Toral (This also is a female 1st firee to differ from the past 3 seasons!)

4. Who will say "The one thing I never want said about me is that I shrunk from a challenge"?
For some reason, I like Brian for this one. He is 5'1 tall, and this answer seems somewhat funny. I am probably wrong.
I guessed Brian for that as well. On his audition tape, he complained about everything calling him short so I guessed that he might say this with a bit of humor.

For the rest of them, I just winged it. No one is ever good at the first episode.

Good eyes and ears, Magsi2. I still can't tell all the young white dark-haired guys apart either. I guessed Kristi for the big talker, and I'm tempted to go back and change my answer, but nah, then I'll lose whatever bonus points I earn (assuming that I get at least one answer right).
For the rest of them, I just winged it. No one is ever good at the first episode.
You can say that again . . .
Magsi2

we can hope...it will help those of us who haven't got a clue for it yet.
ETA: Odds offered on The Apprentice not sure if it's spoiler or media(y), so I put here to be safe. Wonder if the odds are different now that the Alla news is everywhere. This was dated 9-14
CheekyCricket
I just watched the video on NBC.com referred to by Magsi2. I wish I'd watched it before voting, but I'm out of practice.

Kristi is shown twice shaking her finger at someone: the second time, she's uttering the despised phrase, "Step Up To The Plate." In the most nasal tones heard since wee Stacy R. Already, hate. So soon . . . .

Although it seems clear from Trump's on-air comment, that the talkative Apprentice is a guy, I don't think the choice of Kristi is too far off the mark. If the teams aren't split up in "youngest" and "oldest," there's a good chance she could be the "difficult" Apprentice.
Sbeet
It's just so hard to judge based on not seeing anything yet. I don't even think the interview videos are a good gauge, because they're all on their best behavior.
Magsi2
This is kind of off topic. Sorry! (I wasn't sure where to post it, and since it kind of refers to spoilery, I put it here). Is there a TWoPper's group on the yahoo game for the Trumpy version of TA? I know there is one for the MS version.
ghettofabman
I am not sure, but I don't think so. I used my TWoP screenname so everyone should know my stats for the week.

If you form it, they will come. Heh.
Magsi2
I didn't see a similar firing pattern between MS and DT this week, other than that they both fired the MOST deserving person.

As for the fantasy game, I thought I started a new topic in for the DT version, but I must have lost it somewhere in the processing. I'll just add the info here. If the other thread re-appears I'll delete this part from my post. There is a fantasy game group ID #: 1203; Group name: TWoPpers DT; Password: trumpy. If anyone is interested. I know Keckler wanted a new thread for it at MS version, rather than talking about how we were doing in the other threads. Maybe the spoiler thread is ok here. Sorry if I've put it the wrong place.

One candidate stalls his team
I think it's Chris. He comes across as the micromanager type. Most of the other guys come across as too high strung to stall anything. In the first task, at times it seemed like Chris and not Markus was running the show. Also Chris may have a target on his back in leading the rally to deny Markus the exemption. We don't know yet if Markus is the vindictive type. Considering Randal and Adam were the only ones who backed his exmption, maybe we might see a Adam/Markus/Randal alliance aimed at torpedoing Chris, who looks like an early favorite. Perhaps Markus and Adam will get an Angie/Audrey thing going.
CheekyCricket
I doubt that Markus is the vindictive type--being vindictive takes a certain amount of sustained, concentrated energy and he seems too laid back for that--but now that I realize who Chris is, yes, he's someone who could inspire hostility, and from what we saw last night, I agree he's a good candidate for the team-staller. So, is he next week's firee? Interesting line of thought . . .
Magsi2
Yahoo questions are up:

10. Which candidate will be fired this week? 10 all are listed
AmberDawn

2. After the task assignment, who will boast "We've already won this task"? 10 Brian, Felisha, James, Toral --
Since it's a Lamborghini task, I'd pick one of the guys to say that.

3. Which candidate will nominate himself/herself as project manager because he/she has a background in advertising? 10 Chris, Jen M., Mark, Rebecca -- --
Chris is the only one with an advertising background so I pick him.

Horrible Leadership, Lack of creativity, Poor time management, Terrible Marketing -- --
The NBCUMV preview said someone stalls their team so I pick "poor time management".
myswandive

4. During the task, Kristi will say that this candidate is "getting on my nerves." Who will she refer to?
Although it is tempting to pick Alla here, I am going for Marshawn. Alla & Kristi seemed to have a bit of an alliance last week, and Marshawn seems like the type to not put up with any of Kristi's southern crap.
Magsi2

4. During the task, Kristi will say that this candidate is "getting on my nerves." Who will she refer to?
I think this might be the scene where she told someone to "step up to the plate" in the preview last week. I'm thinking it was Felisha. Does anyone remember?

I'm undecided about whether it will be josh/clay to be the energy boost. Josh had some FUNNY comments last time, but I'm not sure they were uplifting. Clay could be uplifting, but could be to the point of annoyance.

I'm thinking Toral might be the PM for the women. She could be the one trump says is somewhat of a disaster and still not be fired since the women win. It just said that he said it in the boardroom. They could be announcing the results and all be in the boardroom. Toral must do something to have made the situation where she wouldn't want to be on the island with any of them. I'm going for poor showing this week w/ Carolyn "in charge" or at least critizing her and then firing next week. Do we know if the ladies lose the next one?
CheekyCricket

8. In the boardroom, which candidate will Mr. Trump consider as "somewhat of a disaster"? Alla, Josh, Markus, Toral
It's the same remark Trump made to Danny, and Markus seems to have been played up as this season's Danny

1. After the task assignment, who will say "I sell cars, I have a dealership"? Alla, Clay, Jen W., Markus .
Hmm, that's a tough one. I don't recall a car dealership popping up in any of the bios. Maybe Alla? I see that she invests in residential and commercial properties, and perhaps a car dealership is one of her investment? Don't know.

2. After the task assignment, who will boast "We've already won this task"? Brian, Felisha, James, Toral
I agree that it's most likely one of the guys. I'll pick James.

3. Which candidate will nominate himself/herself as project manager because he/she has a background in advertising? Chris, Jen M., Mark, Rebecca
This may be a trick question. I rechecked the bios, and Chris and Jen M both have an advertising background (she was a manager for an "international advertising firm"), although Chris is currently in advertising sales. I'll go with Chris.

6. During the client presentation, who will Mr. Trump call into question as not being a "team player"? 10 Adam, Kristi, Markus,Toral
Wasn't she the one who remarked during her interview that she didn't care whether or not others liked her?

I doubt that Markus is the vindictive type

I think it's too early in the season for us to judge who is a good guy and who is not. Remember what people thought about John Gafford, last season, after episode 1?

I didn't mean to suggest that he was a good guy, necessarily, just not the vindictive sort. He could very well turn out to be a jerk.

ETA: I just noticed that the Yahoo! fantasy game has a "pick distribution" feature, which I'm assuming is an ongoing tally of where the votes are falling. I don't recall seeing this last season. Has it been there all along? Did I miss it previously?

Also, I've decided to go with Markus as the person who claims to own a car dealership. I haven't seen anything about Clay or Jenn M. that makes this a possibility, which leaves Alla and Markus. Their bios indicate that they both own property, plus Markus has automobile racing as one of his pastimes; that tips the balance his way.

I have to get my picks in now, since I'll be offline for the rest of the week, so I'm choosing Chris as the firee--on the assumption that he will volunteer to be PM of Excel, and spoilers point to his team losing and Markus sticking around for at least another week. Even though Trump will (I believe) call Markus "somewhat of a disaster," he'll make it through; Carolyn is in charge, right? Which gives Trump's comment a bit less weight than usual. As far as the reason, I'm really not sure but I'll pick poor time management, given the preview about the team-stalling Apprentice.
ghettofabman
Alright, Fantasy Gamers, it's about that time again. These questions seem to be a bit more difficult to answer since we don't have many spoilers helping us along the way. I just answered to the best of my ability:

1. After the task assignment, who will say "I sell cars, I have a dealership"?
Markus

(I said Markus because in his NBC bio, he said that he was fascinated with auto racing, and also, he is more of an entrepreneur.)

2. After the task assignment, who will boast "We've already won this task"?
Brian

(I based my answer for this question on his audition interview..specifically when Brian said that he is obnoxious and has a Napoleon complex.)

3. Which candidate will nominate himself/herself as project manager because he/she has a background in advertising?
Chris

(His NBC bio stated that he is in advertising sales.)

4. During the task, Kristi will say that this candidate is "getting on my nerves." Who will she refer to?
Felisha

(I guessed Felisha because judging from Kristi's actions with Melissa last week, she seems to have issues with outspoken women.  Felisha looks as if she has a chip on her shoulder and seems to be Kristi's next target.)

5. Before the client presentation, who will Chris say is a "great energy boost to the team"?
James

(The strange thing about this is that one of my options was Josh and Magsi2's option was Mark.  So I eliminated both of them.  I picked James based on his silent killer qualities from last week.)

6. During the client presentation, who will Mr. Trump call into question as not being a "team player"?
Markus

(I get the feeling that Markus will be upset because his background experience with cars will not be used and because he didn't receive the PM exemption from the guys, so he will withdraw from the rest of Excel.)

7. In the boardroom, what aspect of the task will Carolyn say was the reason why the corporation lost?
Poor time management

(NBCUMV.com description alludes to this.)

8. In the boardroom, which candidate will Mr. Trump consider as "somewhat of a disaster"?
Markus

(I think that the guys lose this task even though they think that since the task involves cars, they will naturally excel but will not.  Markus is called out for his non-participation by Trump and Chris, the possible PM.)

9. How many candidates will this week's losing project manager bring back to the final boardroom?
One

(Chris will attempt to pull a "Kristi" in hopes that he gets the candidate that he wants to get fired kicked out......Markus.)

10. Which candidate will be fired this week?
Markus

(However, I think that the ultimate responsibility for the loss will rest on the PM according to the viceroys, but Trump has shown us his distaste for Markus by getting rid of him.)
ETA: Has everyone registered for the TWoP Fantasy group on the Yahoo! Fantasy game? Try to use your TWoP screennames so we can identify you and see how you did.
lauriecake

2. After the task assignment, who will boast "We've already won this task"?
Brian
I picked Brian because I think it sounds like him to boast ahead of time.

3. Which candidate will nominate himself/herself as project manager because he/she has a background in advertising?
Chris
I think Chris is the only one on the list to have stated in his bio that he had an advertising background.

8. In the boardroom, which candidate will Mr. Trump consider as "somewhat of a disaster"?
Markus
Markus is all ready a marked man in Trump's eyes due to last week. And all the men Trump's labeled "disasters" (Sam, Danny) seem to have that "oddball" characteristic that Trump finds weary.

10. Which candidate will be fired this week?
Chris
I guessed Chris would be the PM, and usually the PM is knocked off. Just another wild guess.
GreenBean227
I'm in the TWOP fantasy group, but my Yahoo name and TWOP name are different. My yahoo name is NoDayButToday227, its usually my screen name for stuff, but I think TWOP thought it was crazy stupid capitalization b/c the words are short.

My picks for this week are not really different from anyone else's:

1. After the task assignment, who will say "I sell cars, I have a dealership"? I picked Markus b/c of the racing fan thing in his bio

2. After the task assignment, who will boast "We've already won this task"? James by random selection...

3. Which candidate will nominate himself/herself as project manager because he/she has a background in advertising? Chris based on bio info saying he has the background

4. During the task, Kristi will say that this candidate is "getting on my nerves." Who will she refer to? Felisha b/c of the outspoken woman thing and I think there was a promo that showed a conflict between them

5. Before the client presentation, who will Chris say is a "great energy boost to the team"? Clay because I used a stereotype (I admit it) and he stated about his desire to make the guys like him. The energetic personality is the method most gay men I know use.

6. During the client presentation, who will Mr. Trump call into question as not being a "team player"? Markus, I'm anticipating some bitterness

7. In the boardroom, what aspect of the task will Carolyn say was the reason why the corporation lost? Poor time management per NBCUMV.com description

8. In the boardroom, which candidate will Mr. Trump consider as "somewhat of a disaster"? Markus b/c well, he is

9. How many candidates will this week's losing project manager bring back to the final boardroom? Two, I think he'll stay traditional

10. Which candidate will be fired this week? Chris because Trumpy likes to blame the project manager and he didn't get the chance to last week.
AlexD
Most of my answers are the same except for one. I took the he is a "great energy boost to the team" as sarcasm, and that it was in reference to Randal who is not a bundle of energy, but instead he is really down due to his loss. Any opinions?

It just seems we NEVER see the candidates actually praising each other in their interviews during the tasks. The editing always shows criticizing to get the set-up for the boardroom and the firing---although Randal won't be the one fired because of his grandmother's death.
Jacob
Moving posts here.

Can someone post the id # and name for the TwoP fantasy group? I managed to get a wopping 0 for the first week...yay me!

ETA... never mind, I found the info. It's amazing how many times you can look at something without seeing it...
ghettofabman
Here is the TWoP Apprentice Fantasy game group information per our very own Magsi2:

There is a fantasy game group:
ID #: 1203
Group name: TWoPpers DT
Password: trumpy
Calreusop
I joined our group; I did manage 15 points last week, and did even better on Martha's game, so I'm hoping to bring something to the group.
Magsi2
Just a quick note to all:(I got an email from one gamer and thought this might cover the question for everyone) It has been brought to my attention that everyone who signed up for the game after the first night didn't carry the scores from the first week over to the TWoP group. I emailed Yahoo to ask why. I'll let you know what I find out. (Oddly enough, I just thought most people skipped out on it the 1st week and were just getting started....DUH!)

Did anyone else have all wrong options for possible answers for this week's Fantasy Game? I think FGers should be given free pass points because of Yahoo!'s blunders.
Magsi2
ghettofabman I had the correct options for the FG. However, I chose VERY poorly! The questions and options are listed on pg 1 of this thread. I belive the answers are:
1. Markus
2. James
3. Chris
4. Marshawn
5. Randal
6. Markus
7. Lack of Creativity
8. Markus
9. One
10. Chris

I only got 2 questions right (#1 & 3). That's a mighty bad showing even with my 50% bonus points. I went down 1616 spots this week. OUCH! I hope you all are doing better than me in the Trumpy version. I'm doing SOOOOO much better on the Martha version.

ETA: Yahoo answers and scores are up. ghettofabman it looks like you did fine!
ghettofabman
Thanks for the heads up about scores, Magsi2!

Whoa! I am off to an OK start, I guess. I went from 969th place to 192nd place overall. My ultimate goal is to represent for TWoP in the top 10 this time around. Whoever Mango is on the fantasy game is KILLIN' em!! That Mango person got all of his/her questions right on top of getting the 50% bonus! That is impressive.
King Solomon
It appears that after you join a private Yahoo group like the TWoPpers DT, your score and rank aren't updated until the scoring is completed for the next episode, but it does seem to do it correctly.

Here's hoping that more TWoPpers will join in.
lttldebr
Wow, I managed to move up to place 563. May sound pretty bad, but considering I was down around 5000 after the first week, I can't complain too much!

Am I the only one who still has no clue who half of these people are??
GreenBean227
You and I are tied on both the main contest and the TWOP group, ghettofabman!
CaliforniaSasha
I'm not sure how I managed to do it, but I moved from 1794 to 118 this week, and I'm number 1 on the TWoPpers group. Trust me, sheer luck!
AmberDawn

Ahem, I jumped from 237th to 117th, this week.
CheekyCricket
I just checked, and the questions for episode 3 have already been posted. Here they are:

ETA Bren's picks have already been posted, though I'm not sure how much weight to give them, since he only got three correct last week. Still, I've added them in italics.

1. Before the task assignment, who will tell his corporation "we should leave the boardroom in the boardroom, let's start fresh tomorrow"? Mark
Brian
Josh
Mark
Randal
(It just seems like the kind of remark he would make.)

2. Which candidate will boast "Toral and I have found a friendship"? Rebecca
Felisha
Jennifer M.
Marshawn
Rebecca
(Why anyone would boast about this, I dunno . . .)

3. Before the task assignment, which candidate from Capital Edge will tell Markus "I hate fraternities and sororities, and I don't like popularity contests"? Alla
Alla
Jennifer M.
Kristi
Toral
(Alla or Toral.  Still deciding which.)

4. Who will be the project manager for Capital Edge Corporation? Felisha
Alla
Felisha
Jennifer M.
Jennifer W.
Kristi
Marshawn
Rebecca
Toral

5. Who will be the project manager for Excel Corporation? Josh
Adam
Brian
Clay
James
Josh
Mark
Markus
Randal
(After Mark's close call in the boardroom last week, I think he will volunteer to lead in order to improve his reputation.)

6. During the task, which candidate will be labeled "the biggest bitch" of their group?  Clay
Brian
Clay
Felisha
Kristi

7. Will the winning project manager receive 'exemption'? Yes
Yes
No

8. With the boardroom looming, which candidate will cry to a fellow group member? Jennifer W.
Clay
Felisha
Jennifer W.
Randal

9. In the boardroom, who will Mr. Trump call "hardheaded"? Alla
Alla
Clay
Markus
Rebecca

10. Which candidate will be fired this week? Alla
myswandive

2. Which candidate will boast "Toral and I have found a friendship"? Rebecca
Felisha
Jennifer M.
Marshawn
Rebecca
(Why anyone would boast about this, I dunno . . .)
I think this one is Rebecca. Remember how she said Toral went to the doctor with her about her foot?

Also, I think Alla has been shown too "strongly" to be fired this week. Even if she's PM and loses, she'll choose smartly in the boardroom. I think it might be time for Felisha...
CheekyCricket
Good point about Rebecca, myswandive. Let's hope she doesn't come to regret the statement. Or, since she's said to be boasting about it, maybe she should regret it . . .

I'm leaning towards Toral to be PM of Capital Edge, and also, to be fired . . .
ghettofabman
Cheeky, I have a question. Why is there an italicized answer besides all of the questions? Are they spoilers as to how it will all go down?
CheekyCricket
Sorry, those are Bren's answers. I added a note at the end, but I'll move it to the top of the message so that it's clearer.
ghettofabman
Thanks, Cheeky. I didn't see the disclaimer in your original post the first time I read through it. In the meantime, here's how I will probably select:

1. Before the task assignment, who will tell his corporation "we should leave the boardroom in the boardroom, let's start fresh tomorrow"?
Mark
Randal

(He is feeling quite guilty from his reeming in the boardroom, so Mark will wanna leave the past in the past.  Although Randal is another good potential answer because of his peacemaker qualities.)

2. Which candidate will boast "Toral and I have found a friendship"?
Rebecca

(From last week, Toral was the only person who expressed concern in Rebecca's well being.)

3. Before the task assignment, which candidate from Capital Edge will tell Markus "I hate fraternities and sororities, and I don't like popularity contests"?
Alla
Toral

(I am leaning more towards Toral because she is the only female who has sat down and conversed with Markus.  Although, Alla seems like the type of person who would also give the outcast the benefit of the doubt.  I am torn between the two, but I will stick with my first mind, Toral.)

4. Who will be the project manager for Capital Edge Corporation?
Alla

(I picked Alla because of the fact that she owns a chain of salons and day spas, both dealing with the comfort of people.)

5. Who will be the project manager for Excel Corporation?
Brian
James

(I picked James because he seems to appear the most in this week's NBCUMV.com pictures and he seems like a natural people charmer.  Brian is another possibility because of his background in technology.)

6. During the task, which candidate will be labeled "the biggest bitch" of their group?
Felisha
Kristi

(This may be when we hear Kristi's "Step up to the plate!" comment.  She has been already seen as a dissenter among her group.  I am torn between her and Felisha.)

7. Will the winning project manager receive 'exemption'?
Yes
No

(Guys win, James or Brian gets exemption.)

8. With the boardroom looming, which candidate will cry to a fellow group member?
Felisha

(Felisha is probably frazzled from the events that transpired earlier on.  She may be emotional after a possible conflict with Kristi.)

9. In the boardroom, who will Mr. Trump call "hardheaded"?
Alla

(She may have disregarded something important as PM or disregarded Trump's boardroom instructions.  She also has headstrong characteristics as we saw on the last task with her defying Marshawn.)

10. Which candidate will be fired this week?
Alla
Felisha
Toral

(Fired for her inability to listen to all points of view and make wise decisions.  However, based on the PM blindsiding comment in the NBCUMV description, Felisha is another possibility as well as Toral.  I am sticking with Felisha.)
CheekyCricket
The one bit of information that keeps sticking in my mind is the reference to the PM who blindsides his/her team in the boardroom. This suggests to me that the PM of the losing team pulls a clever maneuver, and isn't fired. If the women's team loses, and that's the way I'm leaning, then I see Alla or Toral as the people most capable of "blindsiding" the rest of the team.

Also, ghettofabman, I have learned to be cautious about assuming that the NBCUMV photos indicate the identity of the PM: specifically, that the individual pictured the most frequently is likely to be the PM. Chris was in last week's photos, but only appeared once in the task-related photographs, whereas James appeared four times in the task-related photos, and Josh appeared three times. On the other hand, Marshawn appeared twice in the task-related photos, more than the other women, but then there were only four task-related photos of Capital Edge (apart from the group shot in the presentation). Judging from past seasons, there's no consistent pattern.
ghettofabman
CheekyCricket, where is the description of the episode that notes the PM blindsiding the rest of their team?
coastcat
ghettofabman, here's the official episode description from NBC Universal Media Village:

The candidates tackle the world of high technology and put on dueling expos for seniors. One candidate pushes all the wrong buttons, while another delivers a stale performance. The winners enjoy a priceless reward with children, while in the boardroom, the losers are blindsided by their project manager. The 3rd candidate is fired.
I'm going with Alla as the PM/blindsider, because I believe she can outthink/outtalk her teammates in a high-pressure situation. Toral is a possibility, too, although I don't think she could talk her way out of being fired (I think Alla could).

I'm surprised this week's questions don't address either of the apparent screwups hinted at in the description.

Edit: Good point about the exemption. I don't recall if this were an "official" agreement amongst the guys, or just a reaction to Markus' stint as PM, but some of them did say that no one should be exempt because this would give the winning PM no incentive to work hard on the next task. Ah, so they did learn something from watching Kelly in season 2! (just imagine their opposition to exemption if they had seen Michael in season 3, geez)

Now that I think about it, if the guys win, there is more of a chance that the winning PM gets NO exemption. Didn't they have a mutual agreement about this from jump?

I'm a bad one to answer you since I'm doing so very poorly on the Trumpy game, but I think that 2 of them votes for it. I think that if the PM does a good job, the guys would allow it, IF the guy doesn't act like they OWE it to him.

The questions were hard this week, maybe that means I'll do better than the easier ones. I think I'm going to go w/Toral to be fired because of her island comments and someone saying that this is Carolyn's week to be in the big chair. Carolyn, Bill and George would be good TV. Toral didn't have any comments about previous season winners. I guess we'll find out. Good luck to all!

It's been 2 days, so I figure I can safely "double post" with new info.

Alliances are formed and exposed later in the boardroom; a promising candidate makes a risky decision by allowing a personal relationship with a teammate to sway the decision of who is brought back into the boardroom. After the demonstration the retirees are candidly evaluate the presentations, sending one team to the boardroom.
This leads me to believe that this is how Toral gets fired. She is probably the PM and doesn't bring Rebecca back due to their "friendship. I'm still going with the losing team being the ladies. I can't imagine that Jen M's push ups (from the preview) will go over with the females of the nursing home. I still think Alla is the hard headed candidate. Anyone have any other info/thoughts from the lengthier ep preview blurb at NBC

Exactly what I've been thinking since I read the longer NBCUMV preview Magsi2. Also, when I saw the ad for this week's episode again last night, I thought that Jennifer M would be the candidate who "pushes all the wrong buttons" (mentioned in the short NBCUMV preview) because of her push-ups, etc. But, now I think the button-pusher will be the person who makes the "crucial grammatical error that could cost the team the task" (which, as I observed elsewhere, must be a doozy).

I believe the detail about the grammatical error is a tease, though, and the real issue will take place in the boardroom, when a candidate (who must be the PM) opts not to bring someone else in because of personal friendship. And brings in two less-deserving candidates, perhaps, which could be the "blindsiding" mentioned in the short preview.

Another bit of information from the longer preview:

Alliances are formed and exposed later in the boardroom
I believe Alla would have no hesitation in exposing an alliance in the boardroom--an alliance that she wasn't part of--particularly if she's one of the two candidates dragged into the final boardroom.

Building on what others have said: maybe Rebecca is the one who makes the grammatical error, and Toral doesn't call her into the boardroom. She brings two people for flimsy reasons; the Viceroys see through her subterfuge, and Toral gets fired for it.

The video preview for tonight's episode has been posted on the Yahoo! site. It focuses on Rebecca's injury, and the team's reaction to her injury. And, yes, it juxtaposes the friendship between Rebecca and Toral (on the one hand) with the anxieties of Kristi, Felisha and other team members; Felisha worries aloud (in a interview) that Rebecca won't be able to keep up with the demands of the upcoming tasks.

If you want to take a look at it, here's the link.

I find it humorous that the thumbnail photo used on the Yahoo website for the Apprentice 4, Episode 3 preview actually seems to be a photo of Dawn from Apprentice Martha Stewart. Oops!
