Gilmel has really done all of the legwork, so I must say merci beaucoup to her and Elenita. Gilmel or Elenita had the brilliant idea to lump Lursa and B’Etor together because, well, they just go together. We had a hard time cutting the list down to 30, and no doubt you’ll notice some missing characters. We’ll just have to have a game where those that we cut duke it out in another game. Considering the vast universe of Trekdom, it’s a definite possibility.

I’ve assembled a spreadsheet to try to track the numbers, but feel free to double check. Alas for not having Data around when you need him. May I also suggest previewing before you post and double checking after you post that someone didn’t post right after you.

A quick reminder of the rules:

The characters of TNG, in the game, all start off with 15 points. TWoPpers can then cast either a (++) vote to give someone 2 points, or a (--) to take away 2 votes. Each TWoPper can only cast their votes once a day. That's a calendar day, not 24 hours between votes. You can vote at 11:59pm, and again 2 minutes later at 12:01am. You can vote for 3 people at a time. When someone's vote total reaches 0, they're eliminated. The TWoPper who casts the death vote gets to write the death scene, if they wish. When half of the field is eliminated, then players will only be allowed to receive 1 (+) plus vote, while still potentially receiving 2 (--) negative votes. This is to help make sure the game doesn't last forever.

Also, you can't vote for one person multiple times in a day (i.e. you can't slap Wesley with 6- in a day!)... it has to be 3 different people.

Can you also post the standings with your vote. It makes it easier to do the math and prevents an overkill/waste of vote.

It does not make you a bad Trekkie, EM, but if you know who Lursa and B'Etor, and Gowron for that matter, then you probably know Duras. Duras is Lursa and B'Etor's brother who they were scheming to become Chancellor (I think). Gowron won. Picard arbitrated, if I'm not confusing my episodes. Actually, the house name is Duras, but so is his name, so it gets all confusing. Gilmel double checked on startrek.com She also double checked the spellings, but I didn't paste her list, rather mine and I corrected the ones I misspelled. Like Nechayev.

Sela was Tash Yar's daughter with a Romulan. She (Tasha) survived the destruction of the 1701-C I think it was, was a prisoner on Romulus and either married or had a child with a Romulan. Sela was quite the loyal Romulan and conspired against the Federation as much as possible.

If I got these wrong, it's how I remember it, and dagnabbit, it's how I'm going to vote. But I don't think I could give you episode names off the top of my head...

So far, the numbers are good. Let me say, it's nice to see Vash keeping Wesley company.

Picard read the message solemnly. It told him that Vash had been shot and killed while trying to run from the police of a frozen world in the far reaches of the Alpha Quadrant after being discovered stealing antiquities. The captain's brow furrowed. Vash? The name rang a vague bell... oh, yes, that deeply annoying woman he'd been briefly fond of. He shook his head, unsurprised at the manner of her demise, deleted the message, and had soon forgotten that she ever existed.

That was great, EM. I can picture Picard first getting the message, thinking, after reading the first line, "Why should I care if a cow got shot?"

The numbers look good, by the way.
