I have to confess I stole this game from the Gilmore Girls forum, but I thought it would be good over here anyway because this show has a lot of characters. I think it's pretty freakin' awesome and hopefully other Veronica junkies will too.

So here are the rules:
All of the characters start with 15 points. Anyone who wants to play can then cast a vote to give a character either two more (++) or two fewer (--) points. Posters can only cast their votes once each day (calendar day, not 24 hours between. You can vote at both 11:59 and 12:01, but that's it for those two days.) and only three votes at a time. When a character has 0 points left, he or she is eliminated. Once half of the total characters are eliminated, characters will only be allowed to receive one point per vote (1+), but they can still be deducted two points (--), just so that the game doesn't go on forever.

* Also, you can't vote for one person more than once in a day by giving all three of your votes to that person (or deducting). You must add or substract points from three different people.

* Post the updated standings with your vote, in order or rank.

* Oh, and the best part: The poster who votes someone dead gets to concoct and describe the method of death. This can be as painless or brutal or speedy or horrendously drawn out as the poster sees fit. Isn't that awesome?!!!

Hee---I started the Gilmore Girls Survival Game, which I shamelessly copied from several other TWoP threads...glad to see the game-stealing tradition is being carried on from forum to forum! I'm addicted to both these Survival games and to VM, so finding this thread makes me embarrassingly happy!

Lilly -- (I really, strongly dislike her. Amazingly narcissistic, obnoxious wench who I never found nearly as charming or 'fabulous' as she found herself)

Duncan -- (Duncan is the type of character whom I usually find really compelling, but I feel like Duncan ended up extremely flat, under-written and devoid of any spark...unless you count those sudden---and, IMO, badly acted---fits of rage!)

Veronica ++ (I often dislike a show's hero/heroine, but Veronica actually lives up to that 'heroine' title. IMO, she's an incredibly interesting central figure who manages to stay incredibly likable and relatable despite being realistically flawed. Plus, she's a pro snarker who'd fit in great on TWoP!)
