What, no love for Lrrr of the planet Omicron Persei 8? Morbo and Linda? Scruffy? Futurama's minor characters are awesome.

I wanted more Pazuzu. And there's never enough Morbo!

I'm still annoyed they killed the vaudeville duo on Family Guy.

I've been making my way through s1 of Scrubs and am loving the bits of Nurse Roberts I'm seeing. She's so sassy and the show uses her very well- she's never overexposed. Same with Lawyer Ted- he's used relatively sparingly and it's always a hilarious moment.

Brock Peters as Joseph Sisko on Deep Space Nine. DS9 was my favorite of all the Trek series & the family dynamic of the Sisko's was a big reason why.

Mason Drake from Lois & Clark: she was the blonde district attorney who hated Superman but had a huge crush on Clark in season two. It was such a relief to have a recurring character who wasn't blind to the fact that Superman had no personality, but Clark was the hottest thing on wheels. I always wanted Clark to give her a serious chance, not only because I wanted Lois to be jealous, but simply because she was a great girl. Too bad she died and no one cared two episodes later.

Bussy, I'm so glad you mentioned Mayson Drake. She was such a cool character, and I was so disappointed that the only thing they could think of to do with her as a character was kill her off. But hey, at least it took two episodes for everyone to forget her; poor Alicia Baker was forgotten the episode after she died. And she was another character who had such potential and whom they just killed off.

Of course, I also have to mention a whole host of characters from Veronica Mars. I really liked Rebecca James, and I thought she made a much better love interest for Keith than Alicia did. I know there was the whole problem that the actress got pregnant, but I never understood why they couldn't have brought her back in season two. Of course, I fully expected that Veronica's mother would play a major role in season two, but apparently they decided that throwing a bunch of extras off a cliff and spending half a season on a pregnant girl in a coma would make a better story.

Laverne is one of the best characters on Scrubs, I love her line delivery and when she starts ranting on about her morals, it's always hilarious.

Also I have to mention Gina Gambarro from Ugly Betty. Her rivalry with Hilda was so freaking awesome in the first two episodes, and she was great in Fake Plastic Snow too. I hope she's back for some more episodes soon.

Okay, it's been gone for 6 years now but I loved Perry from Undeclared. Greatest one-liners ever!
Vitamin V
Vicki Needleman on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She was neurotic, but really funny. Her crush on Scott was hilarious.
Split Ends
I have so much love for Omar in The Wire. He's funny, sexy, fucking crazy and amazing! It's insane, I know, but the first time I saw him with a shotgun it was... *thud* The epitome of cool, IMO.

So this is from over a year ago, but I love Omar too. But I don't know if he counts as minor...he's certainly supporting, but not minor. He was minor, but he moved up.

What what whaaaaat? I must have missed that. I love those guys! ("Ya wanna know what's rich? I'll tell you what's rich! ...Play me off, Johnny!")

Speaking of FG, I love love looooove Ollie the Weatherman. ("I SAW A FISH!") Actually, the whole news team on that show is just brilliant. Tom Tucker, Diane Simmons ("...and now back to Diane being a bitch. Diane?"), and of course, Token Asian Reporter Trisha Takanawa.

Is Asian soft news reporter Tricia Tanaka from Lost ["Tricia Tanaka is Dead"] a tribute to Family Guy's character? Because if she is, I think that's awesome.

Going back several years, I always loved the random appearances by Lt? Spangler on Malcolm in the Middle. I think it was his hook hand that did the trick.

A few not previously mentioned (to my surprise):

Meghan (she of the mysterious box) on "Felicity."

Kif and Nibbler on "Futurama." (Anyone who knows the series knows that Nibbler is more than just a pet.)
cacophony
This thread must make mention of Trouty from My Boys. Slightly disappointed that Johnny Galecki got another series because Trouty was really great.

Meghan (she of the mysterious box) on "Felicity."

Did we ever find out what was in her mystery box? There were about 2-3 episodes where I got sidetracked and missed during the second season and don't remember if it was every brought up again. I loved her, especially when she and Shawn got together.

In the show, we never find out whats in Meghan's box, but the S4 DVDs have a featurette called..... Whats in Meghan's box. I've never watched it so I'm not sure if they "reveal" it or if they just talk about the on going joke.

Speaking of Felicity, Elena deserved much better. She was interesting, smart, independent. She could've made a difference when the repetitive Noel vs Ben drama came about every single season.
Eegah
At least before her character was wrecked by her cheating with the first pretty face that came along.

There was that one Twilight Zone homage that hinted the entire show took place inside the box.

Sadly, I think cheating was the show's way of showing interest in a character. Heh. After that Elena sort of floated from guy to guy without much fuzz until the end. She should've hooked up with Noel.

Oh, yeah, that episode. lol That was interesting.

Agent Pendrell. Or Agent Bulletstopper as I like to call him.

Aw. Poor Agent Lab Mouse! Pendrell was the first Never-Even-Had-A-Chance guy I thought of when I saw this thread. Sometimes I pretend that A. J. Buckley's Adam Ross (from CSI: New York) is Agent Pendrell reborn.
