From what I understand the mansion, especially the interior, is in disrepair. that may have something to do with the lighting (kind of like how I decide we should dine by candle light when I have friends over and haven't dusted.)

The Mansion is in terrible shape. Just look at the furniture (antique, yeah right -- That's like when you go up to Hudson, NY to hit all the antique shops and there is shit furniture you could find at Goodwill with $600 pricetags), kitchen and Mary's "Flowers in the Attic" office. If E! didn't want to shoot a series there, I doubt the nasty bedroom carpets would have even been changed. How would Hef and Mary even be able to egress during a fire with all that paper clutter around. (Is baby oil a fire excellerant?) The next owner is going to have a hellofa time bring the place up to code and making it liveable.


Kendra might be the smartest one when it comes to money. Does she realize that she has a short shelf life (unless she lands a rapper or athlete and gets pregnant immediately) and that the costumes and bullshit parties (dog birthdays) are a waste of the precious dough she has worked her ass to hard for? Maybe.

Saw a show last night, "Hefner: Wives, Girlfriends & Mistresses." Spent the whole end of the show screaming, "There she is. There she is," every time we saw a young Holly living w/ all those girlfriends. Anyone know if that special is talked about here?

I saw the E! special as well, I think it was the E true hollywood story of Hugh Hefner, Girlfriends, Wives & Centerfolds? which proofs how dillusional Holly is. All the girls that really really meant something to Hef like Barbie and Kimberly, HE practically had to beg them to be with him, and I'm sure they both broke his heart, also it DEFINITELY dosen't look like Hef would EVER divorce Kimberly. Holly means nothing to him. You can tell from that show AND the Girls next door. On another note am I the only one who thinks Hef's kids are really ugly. (I apologize as I am not Miss America but I was just wondering who else thought the same).

Bridget is beautiful and only in Hugh Hefner's fucked up world would a 33 year old be considered "old". I see what others mean and yes she does look older than Kendra. But she is older than Kendra by a good 12 years. So I'm not sure why she gets shit about looking older when she is older. So I won't rag on her for that. Her personality seems sweet, too. BUT her pink bedroom? Creepy. I find it so odd that a 33 year old woman needs more pink assessories than Barbie in order to feel young for her fucking 80 year old boyfriend!

Holly is Gwen Stefani without the talent. She's beautiful but she is so desperate to be "puffin's" wife it's pathetic.

Kendra is scary to me. I don't find one thing appealing about her personality. Yes she cleans up great for photo shoots. But she looks like Jenna Jameson's younger sister with no manners. The burping, the cursing, and not since Herman Munster has there been a more horrid laugh. She seems the bitchiest one of all. Like she can't stand anyone in the mansion but she's along for the ride hoping it will catepult her to some fame and fortune. And to think that 4 years ago this girl was in high school and now she is famous for getting her groove on with Grandpa?

It's sad that these young girls are wasting their prime years on an 80 year old man. Why? So he can pay for their clothes and college like he's their daddy and they are his naughty little daughters? Are student loans and working your way through life that scary? I enjoy the show but every time it's over, the reality hits me that these girls live this way for real. This is their life. It's sad, really.

Holly's nastiness is becoming more apparent. Her "40" and "airbrush" comments to Bridget were really cruel. But she knows that Bridget is just so, so desperate to stay in the mansion, she'll tolerate her nastiness. I thought Bridget's ickey sweet personality was a put on. But I think she has genuine mental problems. Why else would a woman of nearly 35 (or more?) choose this lifestyle where she acts like a 6 year old -- spending all her time fussing over her pets and dressing in stupid costumes?

Notice that Holly hasn't made nasty comments directly to Kendra -- probably 'cause she knows Kendra would punch her in the face without any hesitation. Her nastiness to Kendra is much more subtle. The hilarious thing is Kendra couldn't care less. Holly's insecurity is showing big time. And she's right to be extremely insecure and jealous of Kendra. Kendra is the only one here that Hef shows any interest in.

But Kendra fits the Playmate mold age-wise and looks-wise and the other 2 clearly do not. Other than her boobs and her hair color, Kendra is who she is. Holly and Bridget are completely manufactured (Bridget's boobs may be real but that's about it) and they both need to be done up full hair and makeup all the time to be good looking. Kendra doesn't need to do this. Also, Kendra's personality is who she is. Bridget and Holly ALWAYS seem to be hiding who they are and what they're really thinking.

I've been watching Holly closely ever since I saw her "before" pictures and man, if she doesn't remember to hold her face exactly right, Busted Old Holly is right there! There was a shot of her getting ready for her snake shoot and dang it if she didn't have that broken down Hooters look about her. Girlfriend better be careful!

I like Bridget but she looked ridiculous for her witch shoot. Those faces were painful. The painting her pose was based on was cool though, does anyone remember the artist's name?

I do agree w/ Scoobie that Kendra is the most "real" of the three. I just find her the skankiest of the three as well. At least Holly and Bridget seem to show a bit more class. Kendra is embarassing.

As far as intelligent? I don't think any of the three are all that in the brains department. A truly intelligent person would be able to make their way through life without being an octogenarian's boy toy.

I agree that it's sad for them, but they're all old enough to make their old decisions, so I don't feel bad. No one's forcing them to do this. And does it look to you like she tried that old magazine trick (I didn't say it was a good trick...) of sprinkling baby powder on your scalp to help hide dark roots? She looks dusty and her scalp is unnaturally white. I mean, I have very dark hair and fair skin and my scalp is pretty white but not chalk white like Holly's in the pic.

I'm not one to speculate about screwing everone over, but yes, Christie Hefner is the CEO of Playboy Enterprises.

Christie has never liked Hef's girlfriends. She openly resented Barbi Benton because Barbi was only a couple of years older and Christie found that awkward. Of course, now the girlfriends are half Christie's age, which may upset her even more.

Christy has every right to hate the girlfriends and plan to screw them over. If my dad were banging women 1/4 his age and 1/2 of mine, I'd hate them too. I'd also hate him and have nothing to do with his misogynist porn empire. Good thing my dad is awesome and only loves my mom.

So, I am more of a Holly fan than a Kendra fan, but this last episode really had me feeling the Kendra love. She's cute, and does look really gorgeous when she's all done up, and I can forgive the donkey laugh a little more now. It's better than the fake laugh Holly has.

And I am finally starting to notice what everyone's been talking about with Hef showing more affection to Kendra than to Holly. The whole time Holly was right next to him and he was praising the layout of the calender, he didn't hug or touch or kiss her once, I don't think. I guess I'm in the minority because I think Holly looked beautiful at her photoshoot. She looked the best, IMO. She looked sexy and very beautiful. Kendra has a great body but her face is just average. I didn't like the themes she chose for her photoshoot - I wasn't impressed. Bridgette's was the worst. Her facial expressions looked silly and I didn't like the themes she chose as well. I don't think she needs to lose any weight - her body looks great to me. Someone mentioned that she needs a tummy tuck? I doubt that a doctor would be able to remove a lot of skin from her stomach area. Her stomach looks toned to me.

Notice when Hef goes in to kiss Kendra, she almost always turns away and makes an "Ewwww" face. And the few times Bridget kisses Hef, it's very, very quick and she makes that sound you're grandma makes when she kisses you. Oh yeah Hef, that's hot!

The goodplasticsurgery.com site should be required reading for everyone on this thread. It shows a very, very gooney-looking Holly from 2001 -- way before she had a zillion nose jobs and whatever other plastic surgery procedures.

The calender was extremely boring. How long can the GND keep doing these stoooopoid themed shoots. They are so incredibly cliche. They have probably been done 1000 times each in the magazine itself over the years. The show left nothing to even be curious about for the actual calender (was it a 2007 filmed ages ago or a 2008?) we saw every page already.

I love the thinly disguised the disgust of the actual Playboy magazine employees is around Holly. Let's see...she was a Hooters girsl, professional anal girlfriend, took real estate classes and now she is a photo editor! Perfect professional progression...except not. I believe at one point Holly claimed she 'designed' a necklace that was a Playboy Bunny encrusted with diamonds. It was very impressive except that oh yeah, she didn't design the Bunny because that logo already existed, she didn't invent diamonds and oh, it had been done before. So if by 'design' she meant shopped for an obvious copy that I probably didn't even wrap myself, and used my Playboy discount to get, well she is one hell of a designer.
