Third season (the one that's currently airing). It was the new episode right before one where Kendra buys the condo. According to the iTunes store, it's episode 3-3.

Kendra is like my cat. She doesn't do any tricks but she knows where the food is, where the warm spots to sleep are, and how to be cuddly kitty when necessary. If something happened to me tomorrow she would find another place to call home if forced to it.

Kendra will end up just fine once she no longer is with Hef.

Holly is like my dog. He jumps up and down in excitement when he sees me, follows me whereever I am in the house, acts all crazy-happy when I come back home, even if I only went outside for five minutes to get the mail. He begs for attention and worries when he knows he did something bad. If something happened to me tomorrow he would lay down and not know what to do exactly, hoping that someone else would take him in so he doesn't starve. He wants love above all else.

Holly is going to have some problems when Hef passes. She's gonna truly grieve, and she's going to be lost without his home and lifestyle and her place in that world. I hope for her sake she lands somewhere in Playboy once he's gone because if they do toss her out or shun her she will be in a very sorry state, both financially and psychologically.

I didn't realize before how non-photogenic Bridget is. During her photoshoots, I noticed she was trying too hard to look sexy. She was doing weird things with her face IMO.

I think Kendra's pics were the best and most creative. Holly's were dull.

I saw the calendar episode and I gotta say...Kendra's hair in the bikini shots made her look STUNNING. Gorgeous! I can't stand that damn laugh but the more I see of her and the more she lets the smarts she's acquired come out, the more I like her. She just looks beautiful in some hairstyles/looks.

Nikitakitty, that was the perfect analogy - you're absolutely right. It's probably why I like Holly the best - I do think she genuinely loves him whereas I think the other 2 are totally along for the ride and the perks.

Kendra as Mae West is the first time I have ever seen her look classy. She should dress like that all of the time and maybe I'd like her more! Then again, only if she stopped talking. What is with her laugh? That's the most annoying laugh ever.

Time for Bridget to get a tummy tuck...her age is showing in her stomach. Note that the picture they ended up using for the cover, Holly's arm is shielding Bridget's stomach so you can't see it.

The best part of this whole episode was the look Bridget gave Holly after she said they could airbrush out her ribs... I love that the editors aren't even TRYING to make them look like BFFs this season!

I agree. I like Bridget but she does try way too hard to look sexy and she does this strang thing with her mouth and nose that I can't explain but it's very goofy looking. I remember one of the times they posed for Playboy Hef said something about how when someone tries too hard to be sexy they end up looking stupid and I felt like he was talking about Bridget. I don't think in the show it looked like he was talking about her but I can't imagine anyone could look at those faces she makes and not think that. It's almost like she looks like she's smelling something funky.

That said, I like Bridget but I liked her more in past seasons. She's kind of getting on my nerves. Kendra I actually like more now than I ever did, though I always liked her. I even like her laugh. As for Holly, I never really liked her. She always seemed way too Stepford-y to me.

ITA with everyone who's been saying that Kendra looks great with her hair and makeup all done up. I think she's the most beautiful out of the three.

Bridgett does do wierd stuff with her face. It looks more like a grimace than a sexy face or a smile. Just odd.

I also do love the little digs that the girls give each other. For example...Kendra saying she was happy she finally beat Holly to the shoot and wasn't late, and then the little airbrushing comment from Holly to Bridgett. It's easy to see they are getting sick of each other.

ITA with whomever said that Kendra looked classy in the mae West costume. Too much makeup, sure, but she was really beautiful, I thought.

You know, I've decided that, especially in this episode, the girls' relationship looks more businesslike than three girls who are sharing the same man. I mean, Holly's comment about airbrushing is what a photo editor would say to a model, you know? So, I don't know if that's a byproduct of Holly thinking that she's got some control in the magazine, or if it's coming to light that they really do all have contracts. Or, maybe I'm just reaching. :) I am noticing differences in the way they interact with each other this season.

Loved it so much when Bridget says she was 40's (referring to 1940's -- with her hair and makeup) and Holly said in an obviously catty and mean way, "Oh, I thought you said you were 40." I give Bridget a lot of credit. She paused for a moment and looked like she would haul off and punch Holly right in the face -- which she should have. But nuh-uh, our girl Bridget just smiled sweetly and never for a second did she break from her fakey, ickey sweet personality. She did a great job of ignoring the nasty comment from Holly.

Holly's making it more painfully obvious with each ep how much she hates Kendra and Bridget and wants them out. I wonder if Hef has ever had a problem getting rid of "girlfriends". Bridget worked very hard to get there and they'll have to get an army to remove her. I can see Bridget at 80 still working the fake boobs, fake hair, fake everything.

In the other pictorials of Bridget, her face does not photograph well at all. That's probably why she was rejected so many times before to be a playmate. When she smiles, her eyes slant up and completely disappear. I wonder if it's the result of some surgery. Afrterall, her REAL age is closer to 40.

I agree about the Bridget face comments...ugh, her try to be sexy faces are the WORST. They totally bug. It's like this little scrunched up sneer thing and that's not even the word for it.

She looks old and saggy and that was hysterical when Holly made the airbrush comment. Sorry Bridget - you are not a 22 year old cover girl and you never were. Take your gut and neck that needs lipo and get over it.

I had to laugh when she said that she had no brain cells left from sniffing paint. I wish that whatever it is that makes her less than bright had affected the part of her brain that makes her laugh.

Kendra is officially my favorite gal now---I just dig the gal more and more every new episode...it's actually been interesting watching her naturally goofy personality mature more and more with each season.
And somehow I always knew she could rock the "Dirrty" Xtina look, nasty braided hair and all.
She definitely had the most edgey and fun shoot.

Holly's shoot was her usual predictable and boring shit. And the snake shots just seemed too random, although Banana was kinda cute...not so cute? Holly's legs and feet!

Poor Bridgette continues not to age so well...not only was her shoot lame and cheesy, but it was pathetic to watch her desperately trying to hide her gut; you know it's gotta be tough for her to try to happilly compete with those younger twigs Kendra and Holly, especially when she's not even naturally photogenic!

Honestly, I don't even find Bridgette to be naturally attractive...her face isn't anything special, her hair is fake, and her body is gradually starting to show its age as well. I get the vibe that she's a naturally large-built girl who struggles to stay the size she is. Like others have noted, she'd be much cuter if she just quit trying soooo desperately hard to be sexy, with the weird faces and tiny costumes and the girlie voice/laugh.
At least she knows her clock is ticking louder than ever and she's pursuing other career opportunities at every turn...too bad Holly is a much better hostess/commentator than her though.

I used to feel sorry for Holly, but now I just think she's a bitch. Those TWO comments she made to Bridget, her supposed BEST friend in the house today was just fucked up. Bridget is looking a little bit more pudgy but I think it is just compared to the other two. I think that she has a naturally beautiful curvy body, and I'm glad that hef doesn't care that she's not a stick figure.

Bridget looks very real to me, and I think she's very attractive.

I actually think they're all very photogenic, because that calendar was hot and they're not all that beautiful in real life, at least in my opinion (of course the make-up and the photoshop and the lighting and all of that helps, but they do know their angles).

I'd say we call her "Holly Hammertoes," but maybe it was the weight of the snake and the weird ground she was on.

And, evidence #635843756 - Hef only trots out to Kendra's Mae West shoot and no others. Of course, that was the closest one to his bedroom*, but I think he was very charmed by Kendra's genuine pick of Mae West as opposed to Holly's ersatz pick of Marilyn Monroe last season.

Also, whatever happened to the group outings to restaurants in rented limos with the PB magnet stuck on the rentmobile? How else will Holly spout her weird malapropisms that she gleaned from the Almanac?

* Do they all spend an enormous amount of time in their bedrooms alone or what? They are in this big house, but holed up in their little rats' nests. And the doors are always shut. For people with this "open and free" corporate line, no to mention people who pose nude for a living or exploit them, the whole shut door thing seems odd.

I think Kendra could do a calendar all by herself and have it sell well. The other two? Not so much. And I don't think they're unattractive - Kendra is just a lot more photogenic, imo.

Kendra looks the best in this group because she is the youngest by far. How old is she -- 21 or 22? But this lifestyle ages you quick. And by lifestyle, I mean being in the porn industry. Because let's face it, that's exactly what this is. No matter how much Hef tries to give this a "classy" disguise, it's still porn.

I also think that white blonde hair ages women terribly and looks totally bizarre in real life. Even Kendra, who's still young, looks sort of haggard with that white blonde hair. Bridget is probably botoxing every 6 seconds to compete with Kendra, who's between 10 and 15 years younger than her. The fact is, Bridget's way too old to be doing this stuff and even Holly's probably tetering on the edge of being too old. And Holly knows it -- that's why she's been pressuring Hef to marry her and wants the others out.

Don't you think Holly's got those crazy, crazy looking popped out eyes? With those crazy eyes, it just looks like she'll smash Kendra over the head and then go for Bridget and then have breakfast and go back to bed with Hef. In some photos her eyes look bigger and more popped out and crazy than in others.

Holly does have crazy popped out eyes. I think its cause of the work she's had done (eyelid lifts, whatnot).

Holly looks really fake, with the perfect veneers and her look in general.

I did finally see the ep of Kendra buying her condo and wow it's nice. Holly was a waste of space at that PM shoot. I missed last night's ep.

Holly at that shoot was hysterical. You could just see how much everyone wanted to yell at her but they knew they couldn't because she's Hef's girl. I love how she took all of the credit for the layout and the lighting and everything when all she did was skate around the set and distract everyone.

I just want to express my immediate love for Liam the butler with the delightful accent. Loved his "I always wanted to get into a woman's panties, just...not like this" when Kendra put those random panties on his head. Hee. More cute butlers, please!

Well, I'm sick of Holly and all her "we"s. When they brought out the snake she even had to work in "WE love animals"... she really is working old Hef into every single sentence she says. But in watching the show, it looks like Hef has more affection for Kendra than anyone else. He's constantly amused by her, kissing her, etc. I would so love to see it turn scandalous with Hef tossing Holly in favor of Kendra.

What is wrong with Holly's feet? My husband paused it when they showed them during the snake scene and those have to be the nastiest feet ever! Did Marilyn Monroe have nasty feet also?

I love how everyone has Kendra love now. The first season I used to yell at my tv about how dumb she was, last year she was okay, and this year she is by far my favorite. What do you think has changed it for all of us? I like her confidence and she just doesn't seem as crazy as Holly and doesn't try as hard as Bridget.

To me if feels like Kendra is in on the joke of it all. Holly is obsessed with being Mrs. Hefner, and Bridget is a creepy old adolescent girl (I can imagine her in that pink bedroom still when she's 80 - like Baby Jane). Kendra seems to be along for the ride for the bucks - and now she's finally showing it, and dropping hints of a future away from them all. The condo, how proud she was of her part in the exercise video ... made it all seem like she does eventually want independence. The other two, not so much. I think they feel like they've peaked by being in that house.

I dont think Hef would ever make Kendra the #1 GF. Because she would never be a hostess like Holly is. Holly leads Grandpa Hef around and stays by his side the whole time at all the parties. Kendra is busy parting (not that I blame her). I think that is why he seems to give her the most attention because she gives him the least.

Also I think Bridget lost weight. SHe looks a lot thinner to me.

And I think that Kendra looked so hot as XXtina in the Dirrty shoot. I was shocked that she could look that good.

I have a question. I've seen several people mention that Playboy is running out of money, and that there won't be enough to go around when Hef finally kicks. Does anybody know where to find this information? I'm just curious. I did a little checking around an found that Playboy Enterprises has $435.8 million in assets, and a gross profit of 20.8%. Personally I find both pretty respectable. I was just wondering where the other info was coming from.

And didn't Playboy pony up a s-load of money to buy Club Jenna from Jenna Jameson? I thought I had heard 150 mil at one point. While it's a good move for both parties it shows how Hef's legacy is eroding. I remember the interview with one of his sons saying that Playboy would always stay classy and not go down the porn road.

If that's true, it is is a lot of money. However, how much is Hef really worth? I don't imagine he owns all of that. He should have a savings or something similar.

I don't think it's odd. It's like anybody who lives in a big house with roommates...you are going to set up your bedroom as a mini-studio apartment so that you have a place to get away from them. Does anybody know how many days a week the cameras are there filming them? You'd better believe I'd want to hole up in my room and relax when they weren't.

I wonder if life at the mansion means you have to do your hair/makeup like that every single day, or do you ever get a day off? That's a lot of work...I mean, I've never seen Holly without fake eyelashes on, for heaven's sake. I remember reading a book where they talked about the Hef/Barbi Benton/Karen Christy triangle and said that Hef liked that Karen had no career aspirations and nothing better to do than her hair, makeup, and having sex with him - whereas Barbi had a career and a life and didn't want to do things like, for example, roll around in baby oil all night and then spend hours getting it out of her hair in the morning. But it was also mentioned that it was a huge selling point to Hef that Barbi was a fabulous hostess and an excellent public speaker. It seems to me that Holly has done her research and is trying to be the best of both worlds.

That's what you do when you share a house with people with whom you have absolutely nothing in common.

I hate to admit how obsessed I am, but I saw all four of Holly and Kendra's months but only three of Bridget's. There was Valentine's Halloween, and the cowgirl, but what was her fourth month? (Holly had the two winter months, the pool/champagne and the snake, and Kendra had X-tina, Mae West, motorcycle, and golf).

It's like they're in some sort of bizarro world dorm. I've noticed that they decorate their doors and I think either Bridget or Kendra (or both) had those little white board message boards on them which is what most of us did back in college. Or maybe people do that less now with emails, voicemail, cell phones and the like. But it still struck me as sort of wierd.

Decorating the doors even with dry erase message boards still happens, even if you live in a small apt with 5 people. I did that once my sophomore year with my roommates, and I saw it in other palces.

The whole decorated doors/dry-erase boards thing seems consistent with the impression that I've gotten from Hef and the girls, that Hef seems to think that he's running a circa 1960s ladies' dormitory, with young girls running around in their underwear and acting really young. (You know how some guys have that fantasy that girls in a sorority have pillow fights and run around in their underwear). It kind of creepy to me that Bridget (especially) acts like she's about 20.

Hahaha, I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed that. And they're not exactly in their rooms all alone, they each have their own fleets of pets, which cracks me up.

And on a side note, there are still white erase boards on everyone's doors in college. However we mainly just used them to fuck around with everyone and write jokes and fake messages on them (I lived in a dorm 3 years ago, and now with texting and aim they really arent used the way they were in the 80s).

Yes, but the official line is that they are collectively in a loving pseudo-polyamorous Playboy-style fuckathon relationship, not just roommates in a mini-dorm. To me, it's like people shuttering themselves in their rooms because they absolutely cannot stand any of the others.

For example, it must burn Holly to the core how pretty Kendra can be. And I think sensitive Bridget is probably bothered a lot by Holly's little put-downs, "we can airbrush that", "40"... just in this one episode, in front of everyone. The staff that did all the work while Holly swanned about must have big bite marks on the tongues from controlling their put-downs of her as she said "we" and "I'm the boss' gf."

Playboy Enterprises' return on equity has eroded very significantly since 1996." I think last year there were other posts with the net earnings (not gross) that showed a big loss.

Is there an 80s stereotype I'm missing? I read that and had to laugh, because at first I felt really old, and then thought maybe I should rent some 80s college movies. We had them in the dorms in the 90s, but had AIM as well. Texting wasn't around yet. They were kind of pointless, however, because I lived in a coed dorm, and drunk guys would steal all the markers so you couldn't use them.

I thought they were odd when I first saw them in the mansion too, but I never thought that Hef was trying to recreate any 60s dorm fantasy. I just think there's weird shit going on at that place. I don't think it's strange for the girls to hole themselves up in their rooms. Between camera crews and having very different personalities, I bet they all appreciate their own living spaces.



I thought it was telling that Holly's "pretty" comment about Kendra's motorcycle shoot had to do with it being "colorful." I was blown away by how gorgeous Kendra looked. Her darker hair really does wonders, and she can work the camera. I want to re-watch, but when Holly made her airbrushing comment, did she say that Bridget had a thick waist? It's one thing to point out your own flaws, but to point out someone else's...uberbitch.

This episode had so many little digs in it, I loved it. And Kendra looked great. She could actually continue to do some print modeling if she wanted to and out of all three, she was by far the best and most natural at it.

Not sure if it's the same one, but on America's Next Top Model last season (cycle), they used a yellow python named Banana in one of the same shoots. Banana gets around!

I completely agree in regards to the rooming thing. They frequently seem to be holed up in their rooms with the doors closed and it always struck me as weird. The other thing that creeps me out is that the interior of the mansion seems so dark all the time. The hallways are downright depressing, dark, and claustrophobic. The only two places that seem to have enough light is Hef's office and the entry area downstairs near the front door, which gets some sunlight from the windows.

I can't ever get over Mary's office. It's like she's shut up in an attic, and it's full of clutter. I hate seeing her sitting in that little space!

I wonder if it really seems that way in person. I think that there may not be enough lights with the camera crew to make the hallways and large rooms seem bright. I don't know much about TV; I just watch too much of it, but I know that some television shows (ER comes to mind) are tricky to light because they have ceilings, and that sets without ceilings are easier to light. It strikes me that a dinky E! candid crew isn't as well funded as say, an ABC or NBC show, and they're not going to put the effort into lighting the hallways. I think the mansion is creepy, well-lit or not, however.

It was pretty funny watching Bridget do the Halloween shoot! It was Hi larious watching her slide down like a fool in those boots in front of everyone..actually I felt a bit sorry for her.
Holly is so transparent it make s me laugh. I bet her seeing Hef drool over Kendra and Kendra's gorgeous shoot..makes her piss her pants...and yes her toes are nasty!
I do have a question though...I missed how Hef allowed Kendra buy her own place...Is that even allowed in Playboyland?
