So, does anyone know if the show was cancelled, or there were only 5 episodes?

I missed the very beginning of this episode. Did it show/explain why the puppy had to be flown in? I know she was looking at the pup's picture on the internet, so I assume she "ordered" it, in some way? I wonder how much she paid for the dog and whether she had to pay for the airfare, too?

It would have been nice if she'd gone to a local ASPCA or animal shelter.....I'm sure she could've found an adorable pup, and it would have been a lot less expensive.

Oh, but I forgot, she wanted a puppy that looked like the cat, because the cat wouldn't act like a dog.

It's all kinds of sick and wrong to visit your brother in a bunny costume. Brigit's brother seemed uncomfortable too.

So let's say you're Holly... You're baking cookies with your friends, having kind of a girls afternoon, and in comes your boyfriend to say hi - and he's 150 years old and in his pajamas. I don't care how rich and famous he is, I bet the other girls feel sorry for her.

Saw tonights ep. and it was the usual airheadness and yet another party (4th of July) ditto on Bridgs bro being uncomfortable with her in a bunny costume, thats problably why she didnt visit him at the base I mean he who would want their friends and peers to see his sister like that and drool over her. Holly still delusional as ever, someone that senseless deserves to be porked by an octogenerian. Kendra was very annoying this ep, she made that poor girl squeeze herself into the costume and then she comes in and says ill wear it afterall (after whining that she didnt want to), if I were that girl I would have laid the smackdown on her ass, she also seems to annoy the hell out of that butler you can just see it in his face, he so wants to slap the sh*t out of her. Hope bridgs bro is doing ok, good to know she has a life outside the mansion and is not delusional *cough*Holly*cough*.

Umm all those cookies they baked- I hoped they sent them overseas and not just to soldiers in the states??

I was also really disturbed about Bridget wearing that costume for her brother and his friends, but she does like to wear costumes so I'm not surprised.

I felt sorry for that woman forced into that costume. I can only imagine how uncomfortable she felt, she was probably worried about it ripping in two.

No kidding. Not to mention the fact that it made for some really unattractive back and boob/armpit fat rolls, so to speak.

To be fair to the girl in the sailor costume, the thing did look like its waist was about 20"... obviously tailored back in the day to an anorexic corseting transgender.

The entire mansion staff by now must wish they could slap the crap out of all these girlies, and perhaps rub their faces in the dung their animals produce for good measure. No doubt, they take some printouts of the girlfriend's pictures to the gun range on occasion.

No kidding. Every time the girls interact with the staff in any way, there is this amazing amount of tension in the air. It actually makes me uncomfortable. The girls come across as pretty nice people, but they really don't know how to interact with anyone who would look out of place between the pages of Playboy. It is odd.

I so wanted Bridget to bring the penis shaped cookies to Fort Bragg. Hee!

I am so sick of these set-ups where Hef comes into a bedroom and one of the girls says, "don't go in there, Bunny McMuffin is naked" and he does this fake excited look and pretends to shuffle in the direction of said naked girl.

ha! I bet when they took the job, they were like, "WOOOO!! Playboy Mansion!!!!!" Little did they know...

I'm starting to seriously worry about Bridget. She's quite a bit older than the other girls (I think 31 might be wishful thinking). What the hell is she doing playing dress-up in her pink bedroom? She must be too scared to leave, which is sad. Maybe that's why Hef has kept her around so long, he's afraid of what she might do to herself if she's kicked out.

Word to those who say Kendra is the youngest and healthiest-minded of these 3.
Holly may be hopelessly delusional, but I still don't find her quite as sad as Bridget.

Poor Bridget...as hopelessly simple-minded and little girlish as she seems, I honestly can't imagine how she'd start her life all over again outside of the mansion.
Her pretty pink bedroom is creepy enough as it is, what with all the stuffed animals and Hello Kitty goodies everywhere, but then there are the costumes, the matching pets, the ongoing giggling about everything going on in her little pink princess bubble, and her dream of still being a Playmate and still wearing her bunny costume.
And yet she's 31 years old. It's just all very disturbing.
It's like she's wasted her youth in this surreal world and all she has to show for it are her memories and her various "university degrees" in somewhat pointless subjects.

Safe to assume that Bridget was sexually abused as a child?

I wouldn't go that far, although she did mention she was looking at playboys since she was five years old (and that would count as abuse in my book). Any little girl who "aspires" to be in playboy from such a young age really has some issues to say the least (be it acceptance, self esteem, or whatever). She just needs to grow up and step into the real world, BTW the previews for upcoming eps show her finally posing for playboy.

I would like to know why Bridgette can't give any beauty tips to her little sister????? Little sis would have looked cute with Bridgette's color of hair.

Also, I have to (jealously) admit that Kendra's ass looked incredible in the thong bikini.

Also, that whole cookie episode seemed like a whole lot of trouble for one tiny shoe boxed sized box of cookies hand delivered to Fort Brag by a geriatric wanna-be-Playmate. I am sure Bridgette's brother's friend's were disappointed. The funniest moment of the episode was when they showed Bridgette holding the camera, taking pictures of the guys -- ah ha ha!! As though they didn't want her in the pics! Ah ha ha!

I missed the most recent episode, but the Barbi Benton one was priceless! Girls take note that's you in ten years (maybe five for Brigit). Kendra seems the most normal, and most fun out of all of them. Holly is so Stepford. Girlfriend number one, puuuhhllleeaase, you'll be gone just like all the rest, it's just a matter of time. Doesn't she realize Hef will never marry again?

Anyway, they amuse me. The 9 p.m. rule how stupid, but that's what they signed up for, deal with it!

What I realized as I watched this latest episode is the disappointment of seeing how old & "grandpa-y" Hef is. As others have noted earlier, it's really creepy to see him "sniffing" around these young girls.

I guess I was happier just thinking of how he used to be-outspoken, fun-loving, doing his own thing in the face of straight-laced conventions. Seeing how life at "The Mansion" is now with an almost octogenarian drooling over 20 (and even 30)-somethings while calling himself the "luckiest cat in the world" is just so cringe-worthy.

But HEE!, still can't get enough of the jealous Barbi yelling "You did, too! You did, too!" into Hef's face at Fight Night. You can smell the desperate jealousy thru the TV screen.

It also really creeps me out that her younger sister is spending the summer at the mansion with her. There's something so bizarre and off about that.

That's further proof that there is no sex between Puffin and Bridgette. She would have to say, "Hey, Sis I'll be right back, I have to go service my boyfriend! But don't worry I'll won't spend the night with him since he shares the bed with his #1 girlfriend."

Ooooo....does anyone get the symbolism between Gizmo/Wednesday and the girlfriends? Bridg. got G/W because she likes their LOOKS....doesn't necessarily care about their personalities. Gizmo was there first (Holly) and doesn't like the new pet (Bridgette, Kendra). They are all trapped in a pink palace with nothing to do except sit around looking pretty and trying not to crap on the carpet.

I remember Kendra saying in a previous episode that she feels bad having the staff bring her food up to her room on a tray because she's just a normal girl, so she likes to go down to the kitchen to get her food. She was mildly annoying when ordering her breakfast in that episode (with her stupid rhyme which she insisted on repeated despite the fact that no one else thought it was funny to say, "Si senor, mi amor"). In this episode though, I bet the staff would gladly bring her food up on a tray if it would keep her out of the kitchen and away from the whipped cream. The poor guy seemed irritated but used to these kinds of stupid things.

I missed the first few minutes, so what was this "bunny training" that Holly and Bridgette mentioned? Was it anything more than learning that stupid dance? I love how they think it's an honor and a privilege to squeeze into those tiny costumes, as opposed to just standing around the party in their bathing suits. Yes, I want to wear an old costume that someone else sweated in at a previous party!

Well, there was the bunny pose and the bunny dip. Since the bunny pose had two variations, I can see why it required a lot of practice.

Speaking of which, there was a based-on-truth, made-for-television movie about women working in the Playboy clubs, "A Bunny's Tale." It stars Kirstie Alley as Gloria Steinam, who went undercover as a bunny to write a puff piece for some magazine and ended up writing an expose about the sucky working conditions. It's actually pretty good. They spend a lot of time in the movie on bunny training (led by a bunny trainer played by Delta Burke) and the ginormous bunny manual and the endless infractions that resulted in bunny demerits. I'd recommend the movie to anyone that hasn't seen it.

But back to this episode, the slip-and-slide actually seemed like a lot of fun. I wondered if anyone besides the girlfriends got to play. And it cracked me up when Kendra said the fireworks were the best she'd ever seen. Poor, sheltered Kendra.

actually those were really nice fireworks for a private house. Those were not the blow-your-hand-off type from Crazy Ed's. ;) Maybe she meant it in that context.

Since Holly is beyond delusional, Bridgett needs to move on once she finishes this 2nd masters. She should use this time living rent-free in the mansion to cut her teeth in the journalism or PR world doing internships or taking a crap-pay job to pay her dues so when she tires of pretending to be a gf to Hef, she can move out and get a real job and have a real career. She's my favorite of the girls so I'm pulling for her. Plus, her cat rocks!

I think Kendra takes it for what it is. She's 20 and having a good time. She needs to find some rich pro athlete to marry eventually. Is it me, or do I not remember Kendra being all desperate to pose in the mag? That seemed to be more of a Holly and Bridgett complaint. Also, Kendra, please add some low-lights in your hair!!!

Oh she was desperate alright. She said she wasn't going to eat for a week or something.

Also, I wonder if Bridget's trip to North Carolina was a one-day trip. Because if it wasn't, someone broke curfew...

I don't know if I would say she was desperate, but she definetly was excited about it. Earlier in the ep she said something along the lines of not really thinking of ever being it, but if she had the chance it would be AWESOME!! Also, out of the 3 girls, she was the one who was most stunned by Hef's announcement, even to the point of shedding some tears.

But, realistically, would Hef allow her to do that? That means she'd have to be outside the mansion spending hours doing something independent, out from under the Playboy umbrella. I think, if she expressed a desire to do something like that, Hef would tell her to move out.

And honestly, IMO, I don't think she really wants a life outside the mansion. As much as she talks about her education and her degrees, she's too absorbed in the whole bunny lifestyle to work in the real world.

Maybe Bridget is just one of those people that love to go to school and hate working, like me. Also, it is sooooo creepy when Hef refers to the girls and their friends as "kiddies." I assume it's not "kitties." He said it in the most recept ep. and the Vegas ep.

They can't have other jobs because they are playmates, who are attachments to Hef's fabulous bachelor lifestyle. Or something like that. Being a student is okay because that isn't threatening and implies dependence on Hef for support. They're selling an image and a fantasy that all men can live in their silk bathrobes and pay hot blonde women to be their girlfriends.

Hef's world is a fantasy he-man, woman hater's club where women don't work and men bring home the bacon. The men come home at the end of the day to horny, bisexual, cotton candy haired blonde women who never get fat or tired, have periods, or age.

I went to the Playboy website to see if there was new info on TGND, and they have posted pics from some of their Playboy shoots (not work safe if you go there). They didn't have any for Kendra yet. But Jeez Louise, Bridgette and Holly are airbrushed to within an inch of their lives -- in some I didn't even recognize Bridgette!!

Also, I have a question for anyone who knows -- when models or playmates are bottomless and they are shown sitting on chairs, armrests, floors, tables, etc. Does someone come over and sterilize the place their nasty cooch has touched right after they get up????

In the issue that's out now, it has the girl in the painted football outfit on the cover, there's a small picture of the 3 girls on the last page. Their issue will be out next month. The picture is of Bridget sitting on a limo, Holly holding a drink standing in the door of the limo, and Kendra squatting in front of Holly with a video camera. Kendra's boobs look much bigger than they normally look. I made me wonder if she got implants or it's just airbrushing.

I was watching BET Uncut last night, and I realized that Kendra has a great future as the token white girl in hip-hop videos if she puts her booty-poppin' skills to use.

I finally saw the 4th of July ep and I have to admire the genius of military-themed bunny costumes. Too bad they didn't do camoflauge ones, they could also appeal to the "Soldier of Fortune" crowd.

I have to echo those who have commented that there's something unhealthy about her attitude. It's like she's trying to prove something, and nothing else is as important to her as reaching that goal, no matter how unrealistic that goal is.

Hef probably doesn't mind Bridgette's continuing education, only because it might help just a little to dispel the image of these girlfriends as mindless bimbos. However, if she tried to do anything that will distract her from her full-time job as arm candy to doddering Hefner, he probably wouldn't allow it.

I still can't get over the curfew. In a really disturbing way, Hefner treats these women like he's their father or grandfather. Either that, or he doen't trust them. That whole set-up is wrong on so many levels.

I just saw the military Bunny outfit episode and was...dumbfounded is a good word. How is any of this positive? First, we have a woman forcing herself into a way-too-small outfit that makes her look freakishly deformed once she's dressed. Next, we have a woman dressing herself in a "sexy" costume for her brother. And she doesn't even get any real publicity for it, either! She hands a tiny box of cookies to her brother in a non-descript restaurant with no photographers to take pictures of the Playboy empire helping out boys in the service. That was a pure ego trip to soothe Bridgit's need to be seen as Bunny. Then we have these women going on and on about how much of an honor it is to be dressed as the Easter Bunny for older men? YOU'RE DRESSED AS A FREAK'IN RABBIT. That is just sad and stupid. I'm not sure my liberal side can handle much of this show. These women are so delusional. I was almost proud of Kendra when she refused to wear the outfit until she said she'd wear it if they had a sport jersey Bunny.

I know I'm thinking the worst of Hef, but I kinda think Bunny business is the only way to get out of the mansion for extended periods of time. I thought Bridget had to wear the costume to justify her trip to see her brother. Not to mention that her visit was basically a show trip to prove that the girls have lives outside of the mansion, which they don't.

Audra should not have squeezed herself into that outfit. The little body fat she had collected around her shoulders and it was not attractive.

Maybe they're getting in touch with their inner Furry.

I don't believe those measurements. Playboy fudges on those all the time. Kendra's hips look smaller than 36 and so do Holly's actually, and her waist doesn't look that small. They're just trying to buy into the old 36-24-36 fantasy.

I thought this was one of the most boring and annoying episodes. I actually cringed at the slide antics. Desperate, manufactured fun. Bridget's visit to her brother was so uncomfortable to watch. I actually felt sorry for the guy and his friend.

Mr. Sweetea made it halfway through and then wouldn't watch another minute. He said the guys at work wouldn't believe him if he said his wife made him watch a show about Playmates and he couldn't stand it. However, I do want to see next week's episode about the Playboy shoot.

ITA about Kendra's butt. Sickening how perfect it looked.

The fact that she's still hanging around at all the events leads me to believe she's never turned him down, but then I want to know, why hasn't he asked her? You just know the guys were expecting a bunny their age! At the guys' ages (I am guessing that they averaged 20 years old) >10 years age difference is a BIG, very noticable difference. They probably laughed all the way back to the base. Then when they got back Bridgette's brother got teased mercilessly about his mom being a Playboy Bunny. Way to raise morale, Bridgette!!

I am also imagining her changing into her bunny gear in the restaurant bathroom. Klassy.

Destiny's been a playmate already. Hef prefers women whose only claim to fame is their involvement with him. Plus Destiny is a little "active" and Hef seems to be an old man who wants to be coddled and nurtured which is why he has Holly and Bridget.
