I have to say that Kendra looked 1000x better with the darker hair and better eye make-up. I forgot where but I saw some video somewhere of her when she was the painted girl and she was stunningly beautiful. I think she has much better natural features than the others.

This episode gave me three reactions:

1) Bridget, you bitch! The poor guy doesn't want to wear your stupid Santa Costume! Let him deliver the toys and you make your remarks about how cool it is to give kids instant gratification and leave Dress-Up Time for later!

2) Anyone who actually has had to shovel a 20-foot driveway in 30 degree weather because their snowblower's out of gas and they HAVE to get to work will want to smack these idiots for cooing over the Lawn Slurpee Holly bought. (Did anybody else not buy her act about being amused that the help were playing instead of creating her expensive playground?)

3) Holly looked like she was giving her confessionals before a green screen.

I don't wear them unless I'm wearing a short skirt or shorts, and I'm not a skank :( As long as one has proper hygiene and washes all one's bits often, I don't see why it should be such a big deal.



According to the doctor quoted in the Allure magazine article on this subject I read on the elliptical the other day, there is no medical or hygenic reason to wear underwear. Unless, of course, one wears maxipads during that lovely time we females have once a month, obviously then underwear is a must. It is a leftover of more conservative garments that women used to wear under their petticoats, perpetuated by the fashion industry.

ETA: I don't want y'all to think I approve of girls flashing their punanies to the public, because I do not. Even if underwear are uncomfortable, modesty and common decency come before comfort. Especially when young children are present!

That all said, Holly *IS* a skank, but not because she doesn't wear any underwear. Any girl who has sex with Hef is a skank!

Alison Waite (the brunette playmate at the guest house) looks just like Kelly Monaco. I actually had to rewind my TiVo to make SURE it wasn't her. Why didn't they just rerun an old KeMo spread, rather than hiring a new girl who looks just like her?

I didn't buy it either. Holly seems to act like she rules the roost when it comes to the mansion staff. I've heard her make other remarks about the staff. Like in the episode where they were coming back from Lodi and tried calling the mansion, but lost cell phone service. Holly assumed it was because the staff was not doing their job and she would have to report it to "Puffin". She just seems too self-important, as if she's the lady of the house to be feared by all lowly peasants. Bitch needs a reality check, without her various surgeries to make her pretty enough for Hef, she would BE a housekeeper at the mansion right now.

After viewing the 3 wishes pictures, I see what Hef means about Holly not being photogenic. She has a certain skanky prettiness about her... post many plastic augmentations...but she still has no idea on what is actually sexy. Real sexiness is confidence in who you are. All her pictures looked strange. This is probobly why Kendra takes much sexier pics.

I agree. Holly doesn't really know her facial angles, and she looks almost double-chinned in one of the photos. She just has strong features which don't really go well with the platinum hair. Like I was discussing on the BH: 90210 board in reference to Tori Spelling (Donna) awhile back, I don't think those hard platinum and bright red shades really flatter women with strong features.
Kendra has the classic Playmate look with Barbie doll features so she could kind of carry off the platinum even though it still looked obviously fake.

And that pirate costume looked MUCH better on Holly than it did on Bridget. That's the one Bridget wore to the pumpkin patch and it must have been the one Holly wore on the photoshoot because it was WAAAAYYY too small for Bridget.

About the white socks when Puffin was sledding....jeez, about a hundred years ago I read a book about Playboy--forget the name but we're talking at least 20 or so years ago, telling the story of Hef starting the thing, the buildup, a few scandals and all. Natch a major emphasis was always placed on cool by the various playboys and Vic Lowes was at first amused, then a little scared when he found out that Hef wore white socks back then, too. Evidently he thought they looked cool. I guess you find something that works for you, you stick with it...

The girls all look about half psycho in those fantasy outfits. And compared to the other outfits on the sight theirs were very conservatvie. Wow, this is wierd! I live in Lodi, and have never heard this rumor. Its not too surprising tho, since no one ever speaks about Bridget here, kind of like "He Who Wont Be Named" in Hary Potter, (at least I think that was from HP).

Ooga Booga is a skateboard type shop in a not so great area of town. It may be popular, but mostly with the early 20's, tweenies set. I never hear of anyone, ever saying they are going shopping there. I own a boutique in Lodi, and would never even consider having my shoppe located where they are. Its in a strip mall, and most of the shops around him are vacant/bankrupt/ran outta town.

Now we have one more great mystery of life to add to the list, next to Who really built the pyramids?? Who killed Marilyn? Who da Anna Baby Daddy? and now....WHO THE HECK IS CHAD MARQUARDT, and what has he done with our Bridgy??

I am watching the rerun of Sunday's new episode, and I am struck by how old, senile and decrepit Hefner looks! He seems to have no clue what's going most of the time, and waits for holly to clue him in. Screwing a disgusting misogynistic old man is one thing, but he's senile and looks one step away from the home- money or not, I can't see the attraction.
Also, Cristal Camden is a huge victim of bad plastic surgery- no one's face should look like that!
And I made sure to watch for Kendra's fly being unzipped, but her jeans were so low rise it didn't really matter.

I wonder if Kendra had some work done recently (after filming started but before all the latest press) or if she just really upgraded her hair and makeup team. Her MySpace has pictures of her done up like Christina Aguilera in "Dirrrty," and she's a dead-ringer for a 21 year old Jenna Jameson (who Kendra apparently admires, see another pic on her profile with Jenna). There are also more recent pictures of her in a black satin dress (with the slightly darker hair) and she looks stunning.
Looking through her profile really highlights the vast differences between her and Holly and Bridget. Whereas their entire world seems to revolve around Hef, Playboy, TGND, Disney Princesses, costumes, and pink, it seems to be a much smaller part of hers. What surprises me is it seems like she gets a lot more leeway than what Izabella depicted in her book. She's the only girlfriend who seems to be able to get away to hang out with her hometown friends (or perhaps, she's the only one who cares to) and there are many pictures of her partying with other Playmates and celebs. I'm sure most of it is within the context of the Mansion, but still, it's not like you ever see a picture of Holly anywhere but glued to Puffin's side. I guess it's because she has more leverage, since she's a key part of the GND which seems to be pretty successful.
On the topic of the Christmas gifts, I would imagine that a lot of those were product placement items that were sent to the Mansion and wrapped for the girls by Mary. And the really thoughtful gifts from Hef (the Charger's helmet Judith Leiber clutch Kendra got, Bridget's pink VAIO) were probably selected (perhaps begrudgingly) by Holly, for as we all know, tasteful and creative gift giving is one of the essential tasks for any trophy wife.

Guess Bridget and hubbie had an open relationship, with her responding to the Mansion's 2am bootycalls. Then the opportunity arose for the series and Playboy seriously needed the cash and exposure, so they swept any mentions of the husband out with the nasty rugs.

Does anybody else feel really sorry for Holly? She always seems so unhappy and lost. The only time I've seen her almost look happy is when she has Puffin's attention. On one of the episodes, TGND and Hef went to dinner with Cavalli because he was designing the new Bunny costumes. He invited them to his Italian villa and made some comments about real Italian restaurants, and Kendra mentioned that she loved the Olive Garden. Not very funny, really, but I guess it's their "inside joke."

ooo...I've only caught this show a couple of times late at night when I couldn't sleep...and, I'm sorry, but none of the girls I've seen on the program come anywhere close to being stunningly beautiful. I actually purchased one of the costumes last Halloween - I went as the Sexy Scholar. Anyways, I would be ticked if anyone gave me a bobblehead of themselves as a Christmas gift. This is a somewhat insightful article about Holly compared to other generic profiles I've seen. I would imagine after years of women who were sleazy and climbing (like those triplets, Stacy Burke, etc) it's nice for Hef to have a relatively hot, dependable, devoted woman like Holly. She seems to not aspire to be anything but his wife. IMO, it's a job to be a girlfriend (not indentured servitude, since they are free to leave at any time) and Holly seems to take her "job" very seriously. I don't get girls like Izabella who love to take advantage of the benefits of being a girlfriend, but are bitter about the accompanying strictures. Yeah, if it were a normal relationship, there wouldn't be curfews. But then again, if it were a normal relationship, there probably wouldn't be an allowance or an unlimited plastic surgery budget!

Holly comes across well in that article, but I don't believe it's entirely accurate. I'm pretty sure Holly wasn't made an official girlfriend only days after she met Hef. Izabella said when she first met Hef, Holly was one of the girls who came to all the parties and Sunday events, and that she moved in "weeks" after that (who knows how long she'd been hanging around before Izzy became part of it), and that she was given a spare bed in the 3-bed room because her friend who was already a GF begged Hef, saying she was homeless. Then she started an "intense sexual relationship" which led to her eventually being made a GF, then later #1 GF after the others left. That fits with other things I've read. I do agree, though, that she does seem commited to her position, and does not seem entitled like the past girls have been.

When I saw Bridget with the rug, I assumed it was Hef's gift, which I think is a great gift for him. For the other girls? Maybe a rug with their own photos on it (like the photos from their individual themed shoots, like Holly as Marilyn), but a daily visual reminder that their relationship and lives depend on basically faking lesbian sex with other girls of their boyfriend's choosing? Bizarre. Although I did get a laugh out of seeing the (posed, fake) photo of them together, after reading about the (posed, fake) stuff that supposedly goes on in the bedroom between the girls.

You know, the more I learn about Holly, the more I kinda like the gal, oddly enough...

Sure, she's creepy, plastic, delusional and probably a total phoney b*tch, but you gotta give the gal kudos for at least going after the man she set her eye on and becoming his perfect woman.
Like it or not, he actually did need a girlfriend like her.
Unlike Bridget and Kendra, who are obviously happy to be girlfriends just to reach their playmate goals and other career/financial benefits, Holly just seems glad to be Hef's devoted girlfriend and honored to help run the mansion just right.
Maybe part of her was indeed motivated by one day safely securing a big pay-off for herself upon Hef's death, but I'd think after over 5 years together, she's definitely proven to him that she's far beyond just a clever goddigger or shallow opportunist.
And even through what we've seen of them one the show, I think she seems pretty genuine with her love for Hef.

I still don't get what all these responsibilities are. I saw him name two (updating the house and arranging a lunch for the Playmates). If all her responsibilities are like that, she is the most well compensated Administrative Assistant in the world.

I don't feel sad for any of the girls. Kendra seems to have kept a hold of her personality and the others have turned themselves into slightly creepy stepford wives for marginal fame and marginal financial reward.

I do think that article attempts to cast Holly in a very complimentary light. In Hef world I think getting the girls downstairs within 2 hours of an event, hanging on my arm looking interested, penis cleaning, shopping and random decorating orders around the house are all 'important responsibiliteis here at the mansion'.

I'm pretty sure she got each of them different throws. Holly and Kendra each one with their own individual shots and Hef's was on the only one that had all three of them on it.
